"Kent!" Clark jumped in his seat at the sound of his boss, Perry White, yelling his name. "In my office, now." Clark sighed as he got up from his desk and made his way to the office. While this job does pay the bills, it's not what means the most to him. Secretly, he's one of the most amazing superheroes on the world, Superman. If everyone he knew found out and word got out, he would be swarmed with excited fans. So he hides behind a pair of glasses and a clumsy reporter charade to avoid suspicion and to kept his identity secret.
Clark walked into Mr. Whites office and shut the door behind him, adjusting his glasses before finally asking, "You wanted to see me, Mr. White?" Perry White looked up from his desk before standing up and explaining the situation. "Look Kent, you're a good reporter and I have high hopes for you, that's why I'm giving an opportunity to prove yourself. What do you know about Arendelle?" Clark raised an eyebrow and shrugged before saying, "I'm afraid I don't know much about it." Perry stood up straight before continuing, "It's a secluded kingdom in the Norwegian area, they still prefer the old ways of life, I'm talking 19th century old ways. Three years ago, their king and queen were lost at sea and now their eldest daughter, Princess Elsa, is about to be crowned queen." Clark stood there nodding along as he listened, "So I want you to go to Arendelle and interview the soon to be Queen Elsa, see what her intentions are for her kingdom and if she's ever planning on reaching out to other nations for support." Clark nodded and asked "Sounds easy enough, when's the coronation?" "In three days, I already booked your flight it leaves in 4 hours. I suggest you get ready" and with that, Clark left the Daily Planet office and was on his way to Arendelle.
Arendelle, 12 hours later
After all the delays and flight checks, Clark finally arrived in Norway. Of course he didn't need a plane but I'm order to avoid suspicion he took the flight. From what he was told, Arendelle was quite a ways away from his current location, so he slipped into a small ATM vestibule and changed into his Superman outfit and flew the rest of the way there.
When he arrived he changed back into Clark Kent and preceded to walk the rest of the way to the hotel, or inn as they called it here. Looking around, Clark could see that Perry wasn't kidding when he said that these people prefer the old ways of life, he felt like he just walked into a renaissance fair. He checked into his room and relaxed on the bed, the coronation wasn't for another 2 days now so he had time to prepare and relax. But all that soon went out the window when Clark heard the sounds of screams coming from outside, he looked out the window and saw a building on fire. "Someone help! Our children are inside!" He heard someone yell, with that Clark threw off his glasses and ripped open his shirt which revealed the Superman Emblem.
Screams of panic filled the streets as citizens desperately tried to put out the fire, but their attempts were futile. Just as they were about to give up hope, everyone looked up to see what appeared to be a man in a Blue suit and red cape and boots, with a red and yellow S shield on his chest. Using his super breath, Superman put out the fire and used his X-Ray vision to find the children. After locating them, he entered the charred remains of the structure carful not to make it collapse. About 20 seconds went by before Superman emerged with the children, he floated down to the parents who were in tears. They hugged their children as they carried tears of joy, while the rest of the crowed stared in awe at him, they've never quite seen someone like Superman before. Superman gave a nod and a smile before taking off. Little did he know he caught the attention of the soon to be Queen of Arendelle. Elsa stares in awe out the window as she saw Superman fly off, she stared down at the green gloves on her hands which concealed her powers and gave a slight smile "I'm not alone" she thought to herself.
