"Tobias?" Gibbs looked at Fornell only for the man to hold up a flash drive.

"Everything you need to know following that is on here, including where she is now and background on her . . . boyfriend." Gibbs stood then, took it from his hand and walked to the door.

"You waiting for an invite? Let's go." Fornell followed him down to his team, the others following behind. "McGee, put this up." He tosses the flash drive to him and Tim plugs it into his computer just before Fornell takes over the computer. A photo of a young woman is pulled up on the main screen.

"Yow! She is-"

"17." Gibbs stares Dinozzo down.

"They didn't look like that when I was 17." He said staring at her photo wide-eyed up until Gibbs slaps the back of his head. "Sorry, boss. So a new case then. Victim? Suspect?"

"Meet Annabeth Juniper Widows who was kidnapped and sold when she was 5 weeks old to an adoption agency that specialized in matching would be parents with children sharing their own features. She also happened to be born one Annie Gibbs." Fornell tell him.

"Boss, you have a kid?" Tony pauses. "Wait, kidnapped?"

"She is beautiful, Gibbs." Ziva tells him, looking between him and the screen with concern.

"Boss, who are they?" McGee asks looking at the older man and woman that stand nearby staring at the screen,

"Tony, Ziva, McGee meet Jackson Gibbs, my father and Joann Fielding, my mother-in-law. Tobias."

"Is he here? Is he really here?" Abby raced to them, Ducky slightly behind her. "Oh! Oh wow."

"Abby. Abby."

"I'm sorry Gibbs but it's, it's your dad!" She rushes forward and pulls Jackson Gibbs into a hug. "Sorry, I'm a hugger." She says pulling back and when her eyes catch view of the screen she turns to them. "Is there a case I don't know about?"

"It's a wonder Leroy gets any work done surrounded by such beautiful women."

"Enough! I want to know where my granddaughter is!" Joann exclaims in frustration.

"Abby, Ducky, Gremlin meet Gibbs daughter who was kidnapped as a baby." Tony tells her pointing out the picture.

"My God. Jethro?" Ducky exclaimed as Palmer did a rather impressive fish imitation.

"Can we continue?" Gibbs glares.

"Right." Fornell coughs. "She woke from a five month long coma in May. After leaving she got in contact with her adoptive parents' lawyers and filed for emancipation along with custody of one Faith Lehane who the Widows adopted and were set to take custody of from her birth mother, after she signed away her parental rights." Another photo, this time of a young brown eyed brunette teen with dimples came up.

"Now Faith Lehane-Widows, soon to be 15 come February 12."

"Wait, if she's 17 how did she gain custody? She'd still be in school no judge would give a 17 year old high school student with no income custody." McGee said.

"True but she's not a high school student, not anymore. She took her GED after waking, passed with flying colors then applied to a few universities. All of which she was accepted and offered full scholarships to including Harvard, which she chose against. She also has more than enough funds for them both to live a life Dinozzo here wishes he could for years without an income after claiming the inheritance her parents left her." Financial records were pulled up onto the screen next. "Johnathon Widows and his wife Lucinda had separate life insurance policies. Lucinda Widows' policy was for half a million while Johnathon Widows' policy was for 1.5 million. Then there's the stocks and bonds she inherited that'll provide a consistent income as well as what she gained in the estate sale. She has also begun receiving checks from a café she's working at part-time as a barista. All of which goes a long way in the town she bought property in Sunnydale, California. Which I have to admit looking at the stats of this place makes me want to send a team or five in . . . with back-up."

"Why?"

"Take a look for yourself, Gibbs."

"It's a newspaper's mortuary."

"A high school newspaper's mortuary. All of those are high school students and only those that died in the past week. This town Gibbs, its something else. The crime rate is outrageous. It's a small coastal town with a population of over 38,000 over 2 hours away from LA but from the violent crime rate you'd think you were looking at a city the size of St. Louis or Detroit."

"Why would she go there?" Abby asked.

"Family." Fornell coughed at the look Joann was giving him. "It's where Ira Rosenberg, Lucinda Widows' older brother, lives with his wife Sheila and their daughter Willow. Both Mr. and Mrs. Rosenberg are psychologists and travel often for work while their daughter remains home if her perfect attendance record is anything to go by. It's likely Annabeth moved to Sunnydale to be near Willow who is currently a sophomore at Sunnydale High."

"What about the . . . boyfriend?" Gibbs' jaw clenched at that word. He'd lost his daughter, mourned her without end. She was his baby girl. The baby girl he never got to hold, never read a bedtime story. A daughter he never had the chance to see with his own eyes. But all this time she was alive. Alive and healthy and while he was beyond happy at the fact he couldn't help the utter grief at not being the one to raise her. The hatred for the man who stole that chance from him. And the rising need to keep her safe from anything or one that could hurt her.

"Right." A photo and passport information was brought up.

"Liam Angelus Mac Cléirich, age 20, born in Dublin, Ireland. Flight manifest shows he arrived in the states in July getting an apartment in Sunnydale shortly after. He's here on a student visa studying business at U.C. Sunnydale where Annabeth is also studying. Though she's going for a double major; business and plant biology. She's in their Botany program, real exclusive."

"Wait so if he just came into the states a few months ago how did they meet and how long have they been dating for you to know about it?" Tony asked and Tobias looks at him momentarily before turning back.

"Social Media. The Widow family spent a summer in Ireland last year. The two met then." A photo raised showing Annabeth with Liam at her side as they sat in the sand of a rocky beach before another pulled up that appeared more recent as Annabeth looked older standing in front of a brick building covered in ivy. "Apparently they met at Salthill Beach it was also where they also had their last date before she returned state-side."

"So she wakes from a coma and a couple months later, he moves countries to be with her."

"Does that not smelly doggy?"

"Fishy, Ziva. You're supposed to say it smells fishy." Tony faces her in exasperation.

"Can you zoom into her hand?" Ducky asked his eyes focused on it. "Can you make it clearer?"

"McGee. Ducky, do you see something?"

"I'm not sure Jethro."

"Ok, I think I've got it." It focused to reveal a black ring on her left hand's ring finger. A jeweled heart with a crown atop it.

"A Claddagh."

"Ducky?"

"The Claddagh ring or fáinne Chladaigh originates from a small fishing village that shared its name in Galway. The hands represent friendship, the heart is love, and the crown is loyalty. It dates back to the 17th century."

"Ducky." Gibbs gives him a look.

"Ah, right. Upon the right hand if the crown is pointed to the fingertips it means the wearer is single and as such open to the possibility of love but if it points towards the wrist the wearer is in a relationship."

"And on the left hand?" Jackson cuts in before his son could get a word in and Ducky clears his throat.

"Pointed towards the wrist the wearer is married. In the case of Annabeth however the ring is pointed towards her fingertips meaning she is, at least at the time of this photo, engaged."

"Oh, shit." Tony mumbles and both McGee and Ziva cannot help mentally agreeing as Abby watches on with wide eyes.

"I suppose now would probably be about the time I tell you what I've been putting off which is that according to his recent change in address, they live together."
