BooBoo1995: One of my favourite spells from that movie

Winged Seer Wolf: And with good reason

Chaos Snow Kitsune: I know: you'd have to be a real moron or a delusional bint…oh wait, they work for Dumbledore: never mind

ArlyssTolero: Yeah, it just set the scene perfectly: although, I think you and a lot of others are probably going to hate me now…ah well, this is Fanfiction, not canon, so…anyway, read and, hopefully, enjoy

"But…but how did Harry learn such a spell?" asked Hermione, horror in her voice as she insisted, "He…he couldn't have learned it from Hogwarts, because it's not in any book there. And we weren't allowed anywhere near the Black Library, so…so he couldn't have found it in there! So how could he cast such a powerful cursing spell?"

"You'll never know, that's for sure," said Luna in a matter-of-fact voice, before she smiled coyly as she waved dismissively at Ron, Hermione and the Order, even as she returned her attention to Harry and Voldemort, as did everyone else.

"Now, be a good stupid little girl and hush up or we're going to miss all the fun…hey; has anyone got any popcorn handy?"

Chapter 3: I Came, I Saw

In the case of the remnants of the Order, as well as Ron and Hermione, none of them knew what to think about what they were seeing.

With the ring of fire enveloping them, Harry and Voldemort actually looked like two forces whom were something more than two enemies with a score to settle with one another.

The blue fire seemed to make the Dark Lord's red eyes and snake-faced features look even more-terrifying while, in Harry's case, he already looked intimidating with his black-sclera eyes, but add in the glow from the fire and the air of power and confidence that he showed and…well, simply put, he didn't even look like Harry anymore.

Not the one they knew, anyway.

In the case of Neville, Ginny and Luna, on the other hand, all three of them seemed to be watching and waiting with bated breath.

All three of them had personally felt Harry's power, when he'd become this near-divine force of magic that seemed capable of making whatever power or magic Harry willed come out in force.

And, although they would only ever admit it to Harry, as well as one another, all three of them had felt different things when his power had graced them with its presence.

Black, Dark

In Ginny's case, she was not only reminded of the fact that she owed this powerful sorcerer her life; she was also given a sample of greater strength, courage and independence that told her, in no uncertain terms, how to keep hold of what it had gifted her.

All she had to do was follow Harry, without making it all about her pathetic schoolgirl crush.

Fortunately, she had a boyfriend to help her get over that part.

Black, Dark

In Neville's case, when Harry's power touched him, it was like he had been reborn, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, and, suddenly, it was like each and every trial, trauma and test he had endured was cast aside, replaced by the strength of the wizard he had it within himself to be. And this wizard was not a force to be mocked, jeered and baited into being a reckless fool.

This wizard was a warrior…a sorcerer with real power…a lion with real claws; and, in return for the right to keep this realisation and hold onto his true power, all Neville had to do was one simple thing.

Bend the knee to Harry and never betray him, no matter what.

Compared to the idea of going back to being the butt of everyone's jokes and being denied a chance at greatness, if not justice, for everything that had happened to him in the past, it was, as the Muggles say, a no-brainer.

And besides, he wasn't alone in choosing to serve his friend and master.

He had his best friend, as well as his girlfriend, to stand with him as they followed the one with the power to win this war.

Black, Dark

Finally, there was Luna.

On the outside, not much seemed to have changed, even with the force that gave her just a taste of the power in her Commander-in-Chief telling her that the price for her gifts was to submit to Harry and let him do with her as he wished.

She had always believed in him, so she would do that gladly, anyway.

However, on the inside, Luna Lovegood's spirit, both her soul and her magical essence, had become transformed into a true fighting force that didn't need to rely on believing on imaginary creatures to make a name for herself. Nor did she have to ignore the ancient gifts that had been lost in her mother's bloodline, since it was revealed that Luna didn't have the Gift herself.

Well, now she did.

It had given her the Gift and, in return, as with all magic demanding a price to be paid, all she had to do was give herself to Harry, to be there for him in whatever way he wished of her.

Well, as she used to say, there was only one answer;

Hello, Harry Potter…my Lord and Master…

Black, Dark

Despite their differences of feelings, the three of them had been united in their choice to stand with Harry, both before and after his power had given them a taste of the true sorcerer/sorceress they could become.

It was for this reason that Neville had, so freely and willingly, used the Cruciatus Curse, not once, but twice, on Bellatrix Lestrange and stood so firmly and unreservedly by Harry's side, even as he faced off against his own mortal enemy. As for the other two, they felt safe, if not cocooned in the fire that surrounded them, although they were on the side that had the two combatants ready, willing and able to go to town on one another, and yet, even Ginny could see that Harry was up to something.

What, was the only thing she had to wonder…

Black, Dark

"So, Harry…"

"Look, Tom: how about we make a deal?" asked Harry, earning alarmed looks from the Order, even as Harry went on, "I don't run away and you don't sound like a cheesy Saturday morning cartoon villain crossed with a shit-as-ass Bond villain: what do you say? Deal?"

While Voldemort looked surprised by the way Harry spoke to him, he still smiled amusingly as he agreed, "Very well…in that case, shall we get on with this?"

"Sure."

With that, Harry flicked his wrist, summoning his wand from wherever it was he had stored it – since not even Luna, Ginny or Neville could remember him bringing it with him after they'd left the Veil Chamber – before he held it up to the Dark Lord, his green eyes shining with raw fire and fury as he asked, "Shall we? As you said yourself, Tom: we must observe the formalities…so, first, we bow to each other."

Just as Voldemort had done the year before in the graveyard, Harry made a show of his bow, gesturing with as much flair and unnecessary drama as Lockhart and Voldemort combined, even as the Dark Lord followed suit, before Harry rose up, "Perfect…and now, we begin…"

The Dark Lord raised his wand…

And Harry threw his at the feet of the Dark Lord, before he held up his hands, "I surrender."

"WHAT?" Roared Ron, Hermione and even Remus, while Harry kept his eyes on Voldemort, who cocked an eyebrow as he stared at his enemy.

"Say that again?"

"I surrender…unto you," said Harry, nodding his head in Voldemort's direction as he smiled coyly before he asked, "Now that sounds like a very good idea, wouldn't you say?"

"What are you doing, Harry?" asked Remus, earning a scoff from Harry.

"Taking back my life," said Harry, looking back to the werewolf before he added, "Preferably before you and that old bastard with the inability to do anything, but fuck everyone else over seven ways from Sunday decide that I've outlived my usefulness too."

"You don't know what…"

Before Remus could finish, Harry snorted as he looked back to Voldemort before he asked, "Oh, don't I? Let's see if the Dark Lord can figure out what my little ascension revealed to me…ready, Tom? The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches. Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies. And the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not. And either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives. The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies."

While Ron and Hermione looked outraged, on Harry's side of the fire, Neville was smiling like the cat that ate the canary while Ginny suddenly looked like the Knut had suddenly dropped as to what her best friend and newfound lord was doing. Luna, meanwhile, giggled softly, even as she watched while Harry cleared his throat before he looked up to a suddenly-white-faced Tom, who seemed somewhere between alarmed and all-too-disbelieving as he looked from Harry to his wand and back again.

Harry, meanwhile, folded his arms before he told Voldemort, "This is why you went to Godric's Hollow that night, Tom: a prophecy, made by a Seer who is as much a legitimate visionary of the future as my Muggle Uncle is…and he's a drunken, rage-obsessed idiot with an impotency problem as long as my arm. Now, I don't know whether or not you knew of the prophecy and I don't know if you knew this was what it said, but, as proof of my surrender, there it is and there you go: the prophecy, in its entirety, which says…did you figure it out?"

"The only one who can kill me…"

"Is me, and vice-versa," said Harry, walking towards Tom as he continued his explanation, "And, clearly, I possess some great power you don't have, even with my blood coursing through you…you're welcome for that, by the way."

"Aguamenti!"

"Hang on, I need to see this," laughed Harry, turning to the flames before he watched as clouds of steam rose up in place of what was meant to be a spell designed to shoot water out of the caster's wand.

As Hermione stared in disbelief, Harry scoffed as he asked, "Do you know something, Granger? I have to wonder how you're meant to be the brightest witch of your age, when you don't even listen when an Auror tells you how difficult it is to douse the flames of Protego Diabolica, loosely translated into the Devil's Protection. A spell made rather infamous by Grindelwald, I don't hesitate to add, but I found out and, no, I'm not going to polish your ego and tell you how. All I'll say is that, in the words of Barty Crouch Moody, it's well beyond the capabilities of a fifth year to extinguish them, even an insufferable know-it-all like you!"

"Harry, this…this isn't you!" exclaimed Hermione, earning a dramatic sigh from Harry.

"Do you know something, Tom? I might give you more proof of my surrender: how do you feel about dentists?"

"HARRY!"

"What?" demanded Harry, his voice now booming like thunder as he snarled, "What can you possibly have to say to me that doesn't sound like some preacher trying to convert me to Orderism, or is that Dumbledoranity? Maybe you're even Albusovah's Witnesses, what do you think, you pathetic girl? What do you have to say that you think is the Good Book, especially after I told you that I didn't want you as any part of this! I told you I was going to do this alone, but no: Hermione Granger just has to stick her oar in and make things about her and about friendship all over again! Well, for once, I say screw friendship, fuck you and that old bastard and to hell with whatever plans you and this therapy group have! Because, in case it wasn't obvious pre-Hagrid's brother, I'm done!"

Suddenly, Remus and Moody yanked Ron and Hermione back as the flames surrounding Harry, Voldemort and the three students with Harry suddenly grew in force, expanding the ring in size while, on the inside, neither Neville, Ginny nor Luna seemed fazed by the flames. Instead, they watched with curious, awestruck looks while Harry's ire also seemed to bleed into the flames, turning them a very dark shade of golden-blue, which cast devilish shadows around Harry himself as he turned back to the Dark Lord.

"Now, where was I before I was so rudely interrupted by a pathetic little girl who I should have let you kill three years ago?"

"Professor Dumbledore!"

"Ah, there he is," sighed Harry, shaking his head as he added, "Very well, another time, Tom: if you want to talk, drop me a line…guys?"

"HARRY, STOP!"

"Goodbye, and fuck you very much," drawled Harry, just as his companions took his hands before, as one, just like in the Veil Chamber, all four of them vanished in a burst of green magic.

This just left the Dark Lord, as well as Dumbledore, who looked somewhere between enraged and disbelieving, even as he addressed his nemesis.

"It was foolish of you to…"

"Sorry Albus," drawled Voldemort, turning to face the old man as he smiled coldly.

"I made a promise."

With that, he too vanished, albeit in a dark whirlwind that left no trace of him ever being there, even with the fire burning in the centre of the Atrium.

Black, Dark

"DOBBY!"

As soon as Harry and co touched ground, Harry didn't waste any time putting more plans into motion.

When his elf appeared on command, the dark scion growled, "Lock down this house: no-one, but me, Neville, Ginny, Luna or you gets in or out without my express permission! Also, I want you to search this place from top to bottom and find everything the Order stole from Grimmauld Place: it is the rightful property of the Blacks…my property and I want it back, no matter what you must do, do you understand?"

"Perfectly, Master," replied Dobby, snapping his fingers with a devilishly-amused smile on his face.

As soon as he did so, the sound of an eternity of locks, gears, doors and other defences shutting up shop filled the house, including bricking up the Floo and casting a long, wide shadow around the street that seemed to refuse to lift. Inside the house, Harry mirrored his actions from the Ministry as he conjured what looked like walls of fire, which rose and fell, indicating shields, or barriers, around the rooms of the house before, with his work done, he turned to Neville, Luna and Ginny with a smile.

"Make yourselves at home…oh, and Dobby: go to Hogwarts, get our things and bring them here…everything!"

"Yes Master."

Once Dobby was gone, Harry sniffed once before he asked, "Now, who fancies some pudding?"

Chapter 3 and, I know: WTF?

Harry's surrendered to Voldemort, even with all his power, revealed the truth of the prophecy and delivered a swift kick to the family jewels of the Order in the process?

What's he up to? Is he even sane enough to consider what's going to happen next?
