"Why didn't you tell me about the fact that the Ninth had been inside of Gola Moska?"

Naruto pinched her nose as Tsuna stared at her with tearful eyes. Was it right for her to tell him? Probably. Should she have been the one to tell him of what happened? No, but Iemitsu and Timoteo were having a talk with the Cervello women and asked her to be the one to break the news to him. She didn't know what possessed her to agree to be the one to explain things.

Guilt could be the reason but Naruto also figured it might have been the fact Timoteo offered to pay her a lot of money to explain things. Yeah, money had been the reason for her accepting the offer to explain things.

"Well if I thought you would keep your mouth shut and train then I would have told you," Naruto answered. She leaned against the chair and focused her blue eyes on the brown eyes of her classmates. "It would have been the perfect reason for me to milk money out of you."

Tsuna gawked at her, looking at her like she was insane for saying those words, and the whiskered teen curled her lips into a thin smile. It was not insanity if you asked her. If the boy had wanted the information then she could have used it as an opportunity to get even more money. Sadly she hadn't been confident that the plan would have worked.

If the plan hadn't worked then no one would have gotten hurt except for the Ninth and Tsuna. The Ninth because of the damn robot while Tsuna would have gotten hurt from the knowledge that the man was inside a robot. The brown-haired boy was like an innocent little bunny, who still hadn't fully understand how dangerous the world was.

"Were you really thinking of milking money out of me?" Tsuna finally cried out. His brown eyes looked so misty that the whiskered teen had to pinch her nose, not to whack him. She sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "Why does the Ninth want me to fight Xanxus? He could stop the whole thing so why is he making me fight him? Wouldn't it be easier if he just punish them?"

The whine in his voice grated her ears, almost making her have the intense desire to punch him in the nose but the whiskered teen held herself back. He asked a valid question and he was the one who had to fight Xanxus. It was normal for him to whine about it but god did she want to punch him in the nose.

Naruto inhaled and exhaled as Reborn and Tsuna continued to watch her. Right now would be a good idea for her to think very carefully to think of why the Ninth would do this. Loyalty was definitely one reason but the man talked about the ring rejecting him, which meant that he didn't expect Xanxus to actually win.

He was punishing him but the Ninth had too much faith that Tsuna would win. What happens if Xanxus win? Can the ring do anything to him? Naruto frowned and eyed the ring dangling over Tsuna's neck. If only she had done more research on the ring because then she would have the answers that her friend asked her.

"He wants Xanxus to be completely loyal to you," Naruto finally answered.

The brown-eyed boy blinked and fell down to the ground, weeping over the answer that she had given him. I can't tell him that I think there is more to it when I have no proof. She twisted her lips into a grimace. Loyalty to Tsuna made sense but why the hell did he choose to include her? She had nothing to do with the Vongola Familigia.

The organization that she planned to have would be also considered not apart of the Familigia. It is not like I won't mind having the help of the Varia in the future. Mammon had proven he could be useful and the other members did seem more like her type of people. But it made no sense to include her.

"What the hell?" Tsuna groaned and rubbed the back of his neck before jerking his head up to her. "Why would he want that for me? Xanxus has no problem trying to kill me! How the hell can I trust a g-guy like that?"

You don't trust them. Naruto smoothed the wrinkles of her shirt and looked down at the drink that Nana had given her. It was smart of her classmate to have his doubts on trusting Xanxus. If the boy simply decided to trust him after what happened then she would whack him with one of his comics. Naivety had no place in the underground world.

She pressed her lips into a thin line and darted her eyes to Reborn. Those black eyes gleamed with irritation and looked at her like he wanted her to explain the whole thing to him. Why the hell do I have to be the one to explain things? Right, she had been the one to inform him and between the two of them, she had more patience.

Reborn already looked like he wanted to murder Xanxus for what he attempted to do to Timoteo.

"You will always have to be on your guard when it comes to him," Naruto replied. She took a sip of her drink and pressed her lips into a very thin line as her eyes focused on Tsuna. "There is nothing else to do and as for why he wants that for you? He thinks Xanxus will be a good ally to you and Xanxus is also in charge of assassinations. You kind of need him when you think about it."

Tsuna groaned and ran his hands through his hair as Naruto folded her legs together. Honestly why was he making it such a big deal? The boy didn't even know someone who would be willing to do what Xanxus could do. I certainly will have too many things on my plate. When you took it in that perspective than it made sense to try and get his loyalty.

But we will always have to be slightly careful with Xanxus. Naruto traced the handle of her cup as her eyes focused on the window. Tsuna couldn't act like the Second Hokage and alienate him but he couldn't act like a naïve little fool and just welcome him with open arms. There would have to be a balance between the two.

"I have another question to ask," Tsuna admitted. The whiskered teen blinked and swirled her head at the brown-haired boy, who had his eyes fixated on the table. "Who else knew about your very dangerous plan?"

It wasn't that dangerous. The words were on the tip of her tongue but Naruto swallowed it down. This was not the time for the both of them to argue over whether or not had been very dangerous or not. What was done was done. There was nothing that could be done if you asked her and they had the best-end result if you asked her.

But judging from the brown-eyed boy expression, he didn't have the same belief as her.

"Mukuro and Kyoya knew about it alongside Haku and Ino, Shikamaru and Choji," Naruto finally replied. Reborn and Tsuna blinked, looking taken back by the knowledge that they had been quite a few people who knew about it. I would have told Haru and Kyoko everything but there had been no time and they had nothing to do with this work. If they couldn't get involved then they couldn't know.

Reborn and Tsuna exchanged looks before looking back at her. What was with that look? She told people that she knew she needed to use to make a plan come true. It was pure strategy if you asked her. The only person she had no planning to tell had been Mukuro and the bastard somehow knew about her plans.

"Why does Mukuro and Hibari know?" Tsuna finally asked with knitted eyebrows. "I mean I can understand why Yamanaka, Nara and Akimichi know about your plans but why those two?"

Naruto sighed. "Well I needed Hibari to reveal the fact that the Ninth was in there while Mukuro is a busybody."

It isn't like I told him because I'm getting fond of him. The whiskered teen wrinkled her nose. It was rather hard for her to be fond of someone who could potentially get her killed if she didn't take good care of his subordinates. Honestly if the male didn't have a habit of snooping around then he wouldn't know anything.

Tsuna groaned and looked at her for the longest time, almost as if he was hoping that she would have the answers that he needed. Naruto only frowned and raised a single eyebrow at him. What did he want her to tell him? She already did her best to explain things to him. There was nothing else for her to say or do.

Her work was done.

"How the hell am I going to win?" Tsuna finally cried as Reborn and Naruto exchanged glances. "Why the hell did the Ninth do this to me?"

I have a better question, why does he want me included with you? The whiskered teen knitted her eyebrows together and regarded the sobbing boy before her. The boy was going to become the Tenth while she was a nobody. Sure her organization was probably going to be very useful but it wouldn't be enough for those conditions.

She knitted her eyebrows together and watched as the brown-haired boy continued to sob over the unfairness of the whole thing. I better snap him out of it. The things she would do to get a little piece of mind and to make sure her classmate did not mess up all of her hard work. Honestly if he hadn't gotten her partner involved then she wouldn't be helping him.

But Kyoya was important to her alongside Lambo and maybe even Yamamoto.

"If you keep talking and sobbing like a loser then you will lose," Naruto snapped at Tsuna. She clenched her jaws together and held herself back from smacking the boy even though his crying face begged her to smack him. "Everyone is relying on you to win that match so we can all go back to our normal lives. I need you to win this thing because I gambled on you."

Tsuna stared at her with shock while Reborn curled his lips into a smirk, earning a scowl from the blonde.

That was probably the closest she would ever be to admitting that she believed in him and that he was close to her heart.

"Why the hell didn't you tell us that your father was the Fourth Hokage?"

Naruto stared at the members of Team Ten with blank eyes as she took a seat on the couch. If it was not for the fact she would rather deal with them first then she would be at Kyoya's house, explaining things to him. But she had been running from them for the last few days so it was about time that they talked things out.

There was also the fact her stomach churned with fear at the idea of telling Kyoya about her childhood. What if he hated her? Or feared her because of the beast inside of her? It was irrational when she thought of the kind of boy her partner was, but it was always a thought that would hover in the back of her mind.

"Like I said during the Cloud Match, does it matter?" The whiskered teen asked Ino as she kicked her legs onto the table and looked up at the ceiling. Her father was an amazing figure in the history of Konoha but he was a crappy father. "If you had known who my father was during our time in the Academy, would you have acted less like a bitch to me?"

Ino flinched as Naruto directed her cold blue eyes on the girl. The fact the girl flinched meant that she knew the truth about her unsavory behavior towards her. If the girl decided to apologize now then it didn't mean anything. It did not come from the heart and all that jazz that Yamamoto and Tsuna liked to preach her about.

Shikamaru and Choji frowned and knitted their eyebrows together as if they were trying to figure something out from her words. There is no hidden clue or anything. She sighed and darted her eyes to the door of her room, where she could see black eyes watching them. Curiosity shone through Mammon's eyes but the male made no indication to come out of the door.

It was better if he did not because she had no desire to talk to him about this.

"But you didn't know who your father was during the Academy, did you?" Shikamaru asked, regarding her with thoughtful eyes. He knelt down till they were at eyelevel and his black eyes inspected her like he wanted her to confirm his suspicion.

Naruto only hummed and kept her expression completely blank as they entered into a staring contest. He was right. If she had known who her father was during their time in the Academy then she wouldn't waste an opportunity to use his name. For a moment if she ever thought that she could make friends then Naruto would have used his name.

Because she had been just like Lambo; another attention-seeking brat.

"You remember how I was in the Academy, don't you?" Naruto asked, twisting a strand of her hair against her finger as her blue eyes focused on her former classmate. "Do you honestly believe for one minute that I wouldn't go around blasting out the fact that the Fourth Hokage was my biological father?"

Every single member of Team Ten shook their heads and the whiskered teen allowed herself to sink into the couch. Honestly why must they discuss about the man who donated his sperm to make her? All four of them gained nothing from this piece of information. The past couldn't be changed and she was quite content with her life here.

She exhaled and rubbed the sides of her forehead as her eyes darted to her room. It would be nice if she could just sink into her comfy bed but the Ninth was still going to stay over her house. I can't just kick him out because I want my bed back. Thank god, she could stay over Kyoya's house. His bed was a luxury compared to her own bed.

But I might not be able to sleep over in his house if he finds my explanation to be inadequate. She hoped he did find it adequate because sleeping beside him had been wonderful. For the first time in a long time, she had been at peace. There was also the fact that she enjoyed waking up beside him.

"What about being a Jinchuuriki?" Shikamaru asked. Naruto blinked and looked back at the grim-faced chuunin, who now regarded her with confused eyes. "Have you always known that you were a jinchuuriki?"

That is quite a good question when I think about it. The whiskered teen stretched her arms and looked back up at the ceiling. It would be reasonable to believe that she had a good idea of what she was but the Third Hokage never told her. No one really believed she had the right to know why she had been hated.

Naruto exhaled and darted her eyes to the slight opening of her bedroom door. Mammon did not look at her with pity, only blinking at the knowledge that she was a jinchuuriki. Will he change his mind now that he knows what I am? She hoped not. It would be nice if the toddler did what she asked and plant the evidence needed to cause chaos in Konoha.

A chaos that the village deserved to have for making her life hell.

"I only found out on the day that I ran away," Naruto replied, quirking her lips into a sardonic smile. Ino and Choji exchanged glances while Shikamaru eyed her like he wanted to know what that smile meant. I wonder how they will react if I tell them that I killed Mizuki. She exhaled. "But honestly me being a jinchuuriki isn't a big deal. So what if I'm a weapon of war?"

The black-haired boy pressed his lips into a thin line. "Naruto, you know what the big deal is or else you wouldn't have said that our teachers should realize how important it was to keep you happy."

Can't I be as illogical as the people of our village? The whiskered teen tilted her head up at the ceiling. Fear had been the reason that people treated her like shit but it was illogical. The people of Konoha always talked about the village coming first but it was not really true. If they truly believed that then they would have treasured her.

They would have been more intelligent when it came to their treatment towards her.

"If I was so damn important for Konoha then shouldn't our teachers take my side whenever Ami bullied me? Or when Ino and the other girls were being a petty little bitches?" Naruto asked as her eyes focused on Ino. The blonde flinched and the whiskered teen thinned her lips. "My grades were only slightly below average except for the ninjutsu, which was completely below average. My taijutsu had been the best for the girls and if you calculated it…"

"—You would have passed," Shikamaru finished. His black eyes widened at her words while Choji and Ino frowned at her observation. Was it that hard to believe? She hadn't been upset for no reason. "You were meant to pass on the first try but Iruka-sensei and Mizuki-sensei failed you every time on ninjutsu."

Naruto hummed and curled her lips into a thin smile as the black-haired boy looked absolutely sicken at the knowledge of how the little invasion could have been easily prevented. Konoha is filled with fools and I will watch it burn for its foolishness. It was rather unfortunate that Suna failed at its job but she would fix it.

She would give all three them a little nugget of truth.

"Tell me if you know you have this weapon of war then wouldn't you pass them despite that little detail?" Naruto asked softly as her eyes locked onto the three teens. It was time for them to acknowledge this tiny detail. "You know Konoha needs her but you fail her while you let some little punk who can't even use his chakra properly pass. Now how is that fair for the weapon? You need the weapon more."

Honestly if I was in charge of the whole thing then I would have passed me and Lee. Naruto darted her eyes to Mammon, who looked faintly amused by her response. He looked absolutely delighted by her words and the blonde knew why. Her words pointed out the bias that Konoha had and how stupid they were.

"It was obvious that the teachers were bias towards you but they ruined the whole village."

Actually I believe the First Hokage ruined it when he decided to call us Jinchuuriki. Naruto kept that thought to herself as Ino and the other members of Team Ten looked angered. Were they now going to convince her to go back? Because she had no obligation to do it. The village was going to burn soon. There would be a civil unrest if she had any say.

She was going to make sure that those assholes learn that Karma would come back to haunt them.

"So what are you going to do with the facts that I presented you?" Naruto asked, quirking a single eyebrow at them. "Are you going to tell the council that their missing weapon is here in this small town? Or are you going to tell me that I need to go back there because my father gave his life to protect them? Because frankly I see no point of returning there."

The members of Team Ten glanced at each other before walking to the corner of the room, no doubt making a discussion over what to do. They have an obligation to tell the council. That was obvious but would they do it? Judging from the way those three shook their head, it could be that they wouldn't tell those three old asses about her whereabouts.

I won't ever make a name for myself over there but I can make a name here. Naruto looked at Mammon, who still lurk in the shadows, before looking out at the window. Allying herself with the Vongola Familigia meant that there was a chance for her to be someone amazing. That she could leave a mark for herself and people would say how amazing she was.

That she overcame adversary and made something of herself.

"We aren't going to tell them," Ino announced and Naruto regarded the platinum-blond haired girl who stood in the center of the room. Sincerity shone through her eyes and the blonde bobbed her head. "There is no point in telling them when they are the ones who messed up but Tsunade-sama will need to know about your observation."

Naruto shrugged.

"Well I presume she knows who I am since Ero-Sennin can't stop mooning over her," the whiskered teen shrugged and jumped onto the ground as her eyes focused on Mammon. "So do what you like but since I'm done explaining things to you."

Now it is time for me to explain things to Kyoya and I will be done for the night. The blonde twisted her lips into a frown and slid her hands into her pockets. Even though she would be done for the night, there were still another group of people that needed an explanation. If only Shikamaru didn't have to open his big mouth.

Now Yamamoto was probably going to make her have an unintentional therapy session tomorrow.

The Little Fox is worried.

Hibari sat on the couch and kept his eyes focused on the Little Fox, who stood right in front of him. There had only been one time when he had seen his Little Fox worried and that had been when she vocalized her concern about his wounds. No. His Little Fox also got worried whenever she wanted to display her feelings towards him.

It made her a cute small animal and gave him a desire to have her sit on his lap, but right now he did not have any desire. All he wanted to do was march over to the hotel and smack the King of Monkeys for what he had done. He also wanted to bite to death the Sloth who made the Little Fox agitated during the confrontation of the King of Monkeys and his Little Fox.

"I-I should explain the whole weapon thing, don't I?" The Little Fox stuttered. The way she fiddled with her fingers alongside the way she hung her shoulders told him that the girl was not going to be putting a front in front of him. The mask was gone, replaced with a vulnerability that made him pause.

It was very rare for the girl to openly display her vulnerability to him. The Little Fox thinks I will run. He didn't like vulnerability from other people, always seeing it as a herbivore habit but the Little Fox was a whole different story for him. Perhaps it was because she refused to show that side to people.

She saw it as a weakness just like he did. The Little Fox knew herbivores could take advantage of that vulnerability to weasel themselves out of trouble. To make them not get the rightful punishment that they deserved. That little incident with that herbivore from her class showed him. They believed they weep about how crappy their life are then I will give mercy. He bit them even harder for that mistake.

If his older brother was alive then he would scold him but he was nothing like that herbivore.

"Talk, Little Fox," he ordered. I can't read your mind, Little Fox. That was what he tried to convey through his words and the Little Fox seemed to understand what he was trying to get at or else his little prey wouldn't start pacing back and forth. The little prey would always do such actions when she was trying to communicate her words.

Non-verbal communication was easy between them but verbal communication? That was a whole different story for them at times. The little fox was good at reading his moods unlike Kusakabe but could never always communicate well with her words. He was the same as Kusakabe would rant whenever he didn't understand his looks.

Hibari did not mind how difficult it was for her to verbally communicate since he understood her point.

"Do you ever wonder why I called myself a monster?" His little prey finally spit out. Her slender shoulder trembled and the fear in her tone spoke volumes to him of how serious this topic was. The Little Fox isn't terrified of anything. She might be his little prey but not once would he ever think she was a herbivore.

The Little Fox was his equal and for her to be terrified told him that this was an emotional scar for her.

He took a deep breath and shook his head, making the blonde blink. I always thought it was the Little Fox being ridiculous. A herbivore would believe the girl referred herself as a monster for killing people but Kyoya always knew different. The Little Fox truly did believe she was an actual monster like those in a fairy tale.

She looks anything but a monster. Hibari allowed his eyes to wander from her golden hair to her bright blue eyes and then to the whiskered birthmarks on her face. That mark added a feral look to her angelic beauty, almost alluring people to just how dangerous his Little Fox could be when truly angered.

It was ridiculous how the girl believed she was a monster when nothing about her body indicated that she was one.

"Don't give me that look, Hibari Kyoya! I wasn't being silly when I called myself that!" The Little Fox grumbled, folding her arms against her chest. Her blue eyes gleamed with irritation and the boy raised an eyebrow at her. "I had a very good reason for calling myself at the time."

Kyoya pressed his lips into a thin line. "Your body is very much a female human."

The Little Fox spends too much time with the Toad. The black-haired teen kept his expression completely blank even though his lips twitched at the idea of smirking at the blushing girl. He knew from the way her eyes kept flickering to his lips and moved down to his chest that the girl recalled of their actions this morning.

He shifted to the side and cleared his throat, causing the girl to blush an even brighter shade of red. A scowl played on her lips and perhaps any other male would have flinched at the scowl. However his little prey only looked even more like a cute small fox, who only needed to grow just a little bit more to show her strength.

"You know I probably would have needed that reason a year ago," Naruto finally choked out. Kyoya shrugged and watched the girl carefully as her blue eyes continued to inspect him. Should I go on? He shrugged. If the girl was still not comfortable then he could wait. "If I thought like you then I wouldn't have believed that asshole."

Kyoya felt his lips tugged down at the irritation that the Little Fox felt towards her. He should say something comforting and soothing like how Kusakabe would advise him or even that Yamamoto who always hovered around the girl. The Peacock would even better but he was not the comforting type nor would he ever be.

So he cleared his throat. "Little Fox?"

What are you talking about?

"On the day that I ran away from the village, my teacher told me why I was hated back in the village," Naruto finally answered. The blonde ran her hand through her hair and grinded her teeth together. Hibari chose to keep quiet, allowing his little prey to take control of her own emotions before she went on. It would be wrong to push her. "This whole time I thought I was hated for what my parents did but it wasn't the case."

Get to the point. The Little Fox smiled apologetically, probably realizing that he was not going to be patient with the way she was not getting to the main point. He should be patient but the Little Fox knew he didn't like it when she avoided getting to the main topic. If she wanted to talk about her birth place then she should mention that first.

He would be willing to hear it, especially if the Little Fox felt like she would feel better ranting about it.

"It turns out that they hated me because I'm a Jinchuuriki," the little fox replied.

Jinchuuriki. The word tasted wrong in his tongue especially when he could very much see that Naruto was human. If she was a human sacrifice then his Little Fox wouldn't be alive. His Little Prey wouldn't be able to make those expressions or sounds that no dead person could make. Of course this was not the time for him to point it out to her.

He should question her of what it meant but that look in her eyes told him that His Little Fox wasn't ready to explain what it means. She still carries a belief that she isn't human. He pressed his lips into a thin line and stood up from his seat on the couch. Keeping his expression completely blank, Kyoya grabbed the girl's hand and dragged her to the couch.

He took a seat on the couch and placed her on top of his lap.

"You are human."

Just like I am one. He did not need to question her about her humanity, not when he saw it with how she chose her victims or the level of care that she always openly displayed to him. Kyoya placed his hand underneath her shirt, rubbing her lower back and allowed some of his emotions to seep out as the whiskered teen turned around to look at him.

Do you really believe that when you know what the meaning behind my title means? What I'm considered back there. That was what her eyes told him. A weapon was what his Little Fox saw herself but Kyoya didn't see her like that. The Little Fox was his prey. The Little Fox was more than some mindless weapon that a bunch of herbivores wanted to use.

So he nodded his head.

"Not a lot of people think like you do," His little fox muttered as she wrapped her arms around him. He stiffened but made no attempts to push the girl off of him, only allowing her to take in the warmth that Naruto wanted. Hibari inhaled and removed his hands from her lower back, awkwardly hugging her back. "People think I'm a monster or a weapon."

Hibari looked down at her. "Herds are very stupid and the Little Fox is ridiculous for believing the words of a herbivore."

"Because I look human?" she asked.

He nodded and pressed his lips against her. There were probably a lot of things that he should say to her but words were meaningless. A person could always say that they cared but never showed it. They way his family always worked was to show their care through their actions or perhaps that had been his brother.

He didn't know how long he kissed his little fox but it was long enough for her to run her hand through his hair. The Little Fox always love playing with my hair. A little whine escaped from the girl's lips and Kyoya felt his lips curled into a little smirk. He kissed, licked and bit her neck before tugging on her ear.

His Little Fox tilted her head even more, giving him more access but Kyoya only pressed one last kiss on her jawline before vocalizing the other reason that she was human.

"You have feelings like a human just like I do."

That was probably the closest he would ever to admitting that he knew he wasn't like the animal in the animal kingdom like the other students believed. The only reason he even vocalized it was because this was the Little Fox. The same Little Fox who never looked at him with the same fear even though so many people did.

She was different and that was one of the many reasons why he was fond of her.

A/N: So Kyoya doesn't believe that Naruto is a monster and there will be a deeper explanation in the next chapter. Team Ten decided to keep Naruto's whereabouts a secret from the council while Tsuna is weeping over the fact that he had to battle Xanxus. Now for the reason for the slow update is because I needed a small break from Ripples.

The updates for Ripples will be a bit slow since I have decided to priorities my other crossover fic that is the Guardian Chronicles for the next two months. So Ripples will be updated once a week either on Monday or Tuesday. I do hope that all of you can understand this but I will reassure you that this fic still has a lot of inspiration.

Now here are a bunch of questions for this chapter.

Question 1: What do you think of the whole talk between Naruto and Hibari?

Question 2: Do you think that the whole dynamic between Naruto and Tsuna changed or is it still the same underlying relationship? How do you think those two will interact after the Varia Arc?

Question 3: Did you expect Team Ten to decide not to tell the council of where Naruto is?

Please do tell me of your thoughts on this chapter.
