"Hmm..." Hyde said thoughtfully. "I think that I would actually relate a bit to Joker. Lucina also seems like she's got a solid head on her shoulders too."

"Nobody uses a scythe in Smash," Ruby said sadly.

"Well Ruby-san," Yumi said, "you can still have a friend right?"

"Yeah," Ruby said. "I guess Pit seems like somebody I can get along with a lot! We have a lot of the same mannerisms and personality traits."

"I think we got the idea of those Heart-san relates to the most," Yumi said. "Sheik is the one that I can find a lot to admire with their skill in shinobi style techniques, so I figure they'd make for an individual I can learn much from."

"Just something about this seems as if there's an ulterior motive," Orie said.

"Given our lives," Chie said, "these would probably do something weird to us."

"Agreed," Tsubaki said. "It'd probably be best to hold off for no-"

She looked in surprise to see Yang and Makoto already enjoying themselves! "Guys!" Tsubaki said. They released matching noises that were supposed to be a "what?"

"Well," Yumi said, "so much for that."

"How do you guys feel?" Ruby asked.

"Fine," Yang replied. "Why do you-?" She stopped herself, as she suddenly stared blankly at the ground.

"Uh... Yang?" Yukiko asked.

"Oh my stars!" Yang said suddenly, spooking everybody! "Suddenly my mind has begun to consider potentialities for combat techniques that I had never even considered before! Such simplistic ideas that even a neanderthal would have found possible given hindsight!"

Everyone stared at Yang with shock. Her method of speaking was suddenly... smart. Which was not right.

"Uh... Yang?" Linne said.

"I do say Yang," Makoto said, putting her hand on Yang's shoulder, "do you know what we could do if we combined your strength and my own? Why no opponent would be capable of challenging us with our powers combined! Such a simple idea of the Unfaltering Beastkin and Sunny Little Dragon uniting was so obvious we never once considered it before!"

"Makoto!" Yozakura said, seeing that Nanaya was suffering from the same boost of intelligence!

"What is happening to them?" Labrys asked.

"You don't think..." Wagner said, looking at the lollipops.

"You'd be most correct miss," Makoto said, holding up her own sucker. "This is the same type of sweet that is consumed regularly by Kokonoe Mercury! It's safe to assume that this is what has boosted the intelligence of myself and my companion!"

"My word!" Yang said. "I never once thought such a thing would be possible! A candy that makes its consumer more intelligent, what a novel concept!"

"So, is that it?" Mika asked. "Are now just stuck with an uber smart Yang and Makoto?"

Suddenly, both Yang and Makoto shuddered, blinking multiple times in confusion. They both looked down at their lollipops before looking back up at each other still appearing to be confused.

"Uh, guys?" Ruby asked. "Are you okay?"

"Why does my head feel like it had soda poured into it?" Yang asked.

"Oh, looks like it's over," Shirogane said.

"No pouting!" Ruby said, patting Seth on the cheek. "I'll speak for Team RWBY and JNPR by saying that we have not. We've been kinda slow on watching anime from Earth because of this thing that gets in the way of fun called, y'know, life."

"Likewise for the Hebijo elite," Miyabi said. "We don't often have time to worry ourselves with things like that."

"Most of us from Gessen are in the very same position," Yumi said. "The only one among us who's watched One Piece in length is Murakumo, who has said she doesn't have a favorite character because, as she puts it, 'each one contributes equally to the narrative'."

"Some of us watched it," Asuka said. "Namely Katsu and I, as Ikaruga and Yagyu don't typically watch anime, and Hibari's very particular about her anime. As for a favorite character, I'm like Murakumo in that I don't really have one, as I honestly like them all."

"As for me," Katsu said, "I must say Robin's fine~"

"Uh, I've watched it a bit myself," Hyde said. "I'm kind of in the same ballpark as Asuka though in that I don't really have a specific favorite character."

"I do!" Yuzu spoke up. "It's my boy Zoro!"

"Likewise," Yu said. "Such an expert swordsman. I wouldn't min learning how to execute his techniques myself."

"Unfortunately," Orie said, "my training in the Licht Kries took priority, so I had to be very selective with the media I watched."

"I just don't care for it," Linne said.

"I'm personally a fan of Sanji," Yosuke said. "That guy's super cool!"

"Hey!" Chie said, "he's my favorite too! You can't take him! You're more of an Usopp!"

"This isn't about what character we're most like, you nimrod!" Yosuke said. "And we can share the same favorite character, believe it or not!"

"Well said!" Teddie said. "Sanji's a man after my own heart, after all!"

"Have only watched a little," Naoto S. said. "Don't have a favorite."

"My favorite is Chopper, naturally!" Yukiko said. "So is Kanji's!"

"Y-you didn't have to put it so bluntly!" Kanji said, face reddening!

"Agh! I can't pick anybody!" Heart said. "They're all so great! I love-love all of them!"

"I haven't watched enough to choose," Saki said.

"Sanji, Usopp, and Zoro all have their points!" Lilica said. "But I think Luffy himself is pretty fun and appeals to me the most!"
