Luke

"Guess who I found" Percy said.

"Luke!" Annabeth threw herself at Luke and wrapped him in a tight hug. She pulled away, blushing, "What are you doing here?"

Now

Percy

Percy shouldn't have been surprised to find Luke, much weirder things had happened to him. After saving Luke from the skeleton things Percy dragged him over to the other quest members and Annabeth had hugged Luke so hard Percy was sure he couldn't breathe. When Annabeth had finally let go of Luke she proceeded to punch him in the face, effectively breaking his nose. Luke had laughed and asked for some ambrosia. The two Hunters had sneered and refused to help him so Percy had fished some ambrosia out of his bag and given it to Luke.

Luke ended up joining the quest members. Zoë and Phoebe had been absolutely horrified at first, because, apparently, travelling with one male was fine but travelling with two was crossing an invisible line. When Luke first suggested going with them to help free Artemis, the two girls had been ready to put an arrow through his eye (and Phoebe almost did) but when Annabeth pointed out that the prophecy said 'Five shall go West to the goddess in chains' and said that Luke must be their fifth quest member Zoë seemed to think about it but Phoebe remained adamant that Luke should be killed in many horrific ways until he told them that he knew where Artemis was being held. The hunters had jumped at the chance for the information and Luke had revealed that Artemis (and Calypso) were trapped on Mount Orthys (Percy was pretty sure Zoë had suspected that).

Now the quest was continuing to head west.

Calypso

Calypso was laying on the bed when there was a knock on the door. The door creaked open and out of the corner of her eye she saw her father, Atlas, standing there.

Atlas stepped into the room, closing the door behind him. "Calypso?" She ignored him, pretending to be asleep. "Calypso!" Atlas' tone was sharper, "Get up, I know your awake!"

No longer able to pretend she was asleep, Calypso rolled over onto her back. "What?" She snapped grouchily.

Atlas frowned, "Do not disrespect me girl, lest you be punished"

Calypso was not in the mood for some speech from her father telling her that 'the Titans are better than the gods, join us' or 'if you join us you won't be trapped in this room, I know you hate being cooped up inside' but something told her that was exactly what she was going to get.

"Calypso," Atlas' tone was gentle, "I know you think the gods are good rulers but how could they be? They abandon their children and try kill each other's kids. Hades sent an army after Zeus' daughter, Zeus attested to kill Hades' children but only succeeded in striking down their mother and Hera constantly makes attempts on Zeus' bastard children's lives. The gods are horrible rulers, the Titans will be better. We will shape a perfect world for everyone"

"The titans will wipe out humanity" Calypso stated. She wasn't a fool, she knew that if Kronos defeated the gods and destroyed their thrones mortals would be destroyed, demigods to.

"The Titans will fix the gods mistakes" Atlas said, "Why do you side with the gods? They trapped you on an island and cursed you, then that arrogant asshole threw you into Tartarus"

"It does not matter what the gods have done to me in the past, they are far better than the titans will ever be" Calypso looked into Atlas' eyes. There was an expression there she couldn't place, it seemed almost like longing, "I will never join the Titans" Her voice had a tone of finality to it.

Atlas sighed, "You should make your decision soon, daughter"

"I thought I already made my decision clear"

"Think about it, Calypso. The quest to save Artemis will arrive soon. Lord Kronos wants your answer by then" Atlas exited the room, closing the door and locking it behind him.

Calypso lay on her back, staring at the ceiling. Atlas had mentioned a quest, maybe Percy—No. The quest was to rescue Artemis, it would most likely be led by a hunter, they would never let a male travel with them.

Luke

"La di da da la la la" Percy sang, or rather, yowled, in a high pitched voice. Zoë turned around to glare at him, "Ooh! Zoë! Eyes on the road!" Percy squealed. "Ouch!" Phoebe had thrown a metal bottle at him. It had hit him on the head, leaving a bruise.

"Shut up," Phoebe ground through clenched teeth, "Or I'll kill you"

"Um, yeah Perce, I think you should listen to the scary lady" Luke quickly agreed with the huntress.

"La di da la la la!" Percy ignored Luke and Phoebe, who's face was turning into an unusual shade of tomato red, "LA DI DA LA LA LA!" Zoë rolled her eyes from the front whilst Phoebe gave Percy the scariest death glare in the history of the world. Luke covered his face with his hands and groaned. Annabeth was seemingly unaffected by the monstrous sounds emitting from Percy and was sitting with a thoughtful expression on her face, "LA LA LA DI DA LA—"

The horrible noise suddenly stopped. Luke peeked out from behind his hands and saw Phoebe with a triumph smirk on her face. A slightly dented metal bottle lay next to an unconscious Percy.

"Good shot Phoebe," Zoë commented.

"Has it stopped yet?" Annabeth pulled a pair of earbuds out of her ears, "Oh good, he's out cold"

A groan came from the black haired boy, "La la la la" Percy hummed quietly.

Phoebe sighed and knocked him multiple times on the back of the head until she was sure he wasn't going to start terrorising the poor quest members with his horrible singing (Luke was pretty sure Percy was singing atrociously on purpose just to annoy the two hunters).

"Um, are you sure knocking him out was a good idea? What if we're attacked?" Luke questioned.

Phoebe glared at Luke, "I'm sure we could defeat a few monsters without the help of a boy" She sneered.

"But what if there are more of those skeleton thingys?"

"You mean the ones that were chasing us earlier?" Annabeth asked, her interest perked.

"Yeah, my sword had no effect on them but Percy defeated them easily" Luke turned to the hunters, "Do you know why that is?"

Zoë and Pheobe seemed to have a silent conversation with their eyes, before Zoë spoke, her eyes still on the road, "It is because of his father" Her words held a tone of finality to it and Luke knew the conversation was over.

Luke was sure neither of the hunters would hesitate to dispose of him if he annoyed them. It was really a miracle he was still alive, he'd half expected to be dead within the first hour of travelling with the hunters, he hadn't exactly hid his dislike of them when they attempted to recruit Thalia.

Jason

Jason had picked Reyna to join him on his quest as Ares had requested he only take one other person with him. The quest, if it could be called that, really didn't seem that challenging. All he had to do was deliver the fleece to some people and they would handle it from there. Sure, the war god had warned him that the Fleece's power would be sure to attract many monsters but they could deal with a few monsters, especially since they were flying on Reyna's Pegasus, Scipio. Jason was in his father's domain and he was confident that they would be fine.

Of course, nothing could ever be easy for a demigod, so naturally, Jason expected some evil bird-cow hybrid or some other ridiculous looking flying monster to attack. They'd left Camp Jupiter some time ago and were cruising through the sky at a steady place, heading for Long Island Sound where they were to leave the Fleece. Reyna was sitting at the front and Jason was feeling uncomfortable being in such close quarters with her. He'd turned away and watched a flock of birds fly across the sky.

The fleece was safely secured in a magical backpack which Jason had strapped on his back, retrieved by an older legionnaire some time ago. Apparently the backpack was enchanted to hold an infinite amount and muffled magical auras so they could assume it muffled the Fleece's scent as well, preventing more monsters from sensing them.

"Jason" Reyna's voice made Jason turned to look at her, though all he could see was the back of her head.

"Reyna? Is something wrong?" Jason was immediately alert and drew his gladius/lance, Ivlivs, out of his pocket (it was still in coin form).

"No, but…" Reyna trailed of, Jason could practically hear the gears in her head turning, "I was just wondering, who are we giving the Fleece to?"

Jason shrugged, "I don't know, we just have to trust the gods"

"And, when we give these people the Fleece, what will they do with it?"

"I don't know," Jason said, "Maybe we'll find out when we get there"

"Maybe" Reyna mused, "It's not much longer till we arrive"

"Oh good," Jason grinned, "I was getting a cramp"

"You could have just manipulated the winds so you could fly" Reyna told him.

"Maybe, but I'd probably get tired after a while. Besides, I don't want to have to carry you across the Earth" Jason pointed out, "You know, we've been pretty lucky so far, no monsters. I guess the backpack does work"

Reyna turned her head slightly to look behind her and shot Jason a sharp glare.

"Oh come on, it's not like I jinxed our luck"

Of course, that's when everything went wrong.
