"Wanna come inside?", she asked as they were loosening the hug.

"Yes, sure", he gave back and somehow it felt like a huge step to him. He hasn't been to her apartment very often and even though the last time was only two days ago, he felt like an eternity had passed in between.

So much had happened, they nearly kissed, they fought, they made up. Somehow. With Stephen being arrested it felt like everything was alright between them. Not normal but he wasn't sure if he even wanted them to go back to normal.

The urge in him for them to be way more than normal grew by the second and it has been growing everyday a little bit more for the last eight years. He had her for a night.

A glimpse of what they were possible to become and he held onto it everyday. The memory was burned in his mind.

He followed her into the living area. She had redecorated since the last time he'd been there. A few small lamps were on but overall the lights were dimmed. They walked up to the couch where they sat down close to each other.

"I'm going to pour us a drink", she said more to herself as he was sitting down on the couch.

To be quite honest he didn't really know what would happen after she'd open that door, he never really thought past that point. Everything that came to his mind was far from appropriate in the situation and would overall break any boundaries that they've set out for themselves.

She came back and sat right next to him, handing him a glass of red wine.

"Thank you, Harvey", she voiced softly and placed the glass of wine on the little couch table.

"For what?", he gave back mirroring her tone.

"You know for what", she replied raising one eyebrow.

He smiled at her, not saying anything. They sat like that for quite a while before he found the courage to tell her.

"I couldn't just let him get away like that", he uttered, looking her directly in the eyes.

"He screwed all of us over", he continued, still not having said what he originally wanted to say. Donna tiled her head and let it rest on her arm.

"You didn't do that…", she didn't dare to finish that sentence, afraid of what he might answer.

"It was a fight Donna, not a duel", he stated, hating every word that came out of his mouth.

He lied to her, kept something from her, things that he didn't want to do to her.

"Then why are you here?", it didn't sound offensive but the weight that this calmly asked question carried was immense.

"You know why, Donna", he replied, trying to suppress the shaking in his voice.

"I care about you, a lot and I couldn't just let him get away with that, like I said. He hurt you and I couldn't take it", he continued.

His voice got filled with more and rage. Her face lightened up with every word he said even though she was a little disappointed by his previous statement.

She was fighting it because she didn't have any right to feel that way and getting her hopes up for the impossible would only hurt her and in the end that wasn't good for neither of them.

But to her defense his actions made her feel that way for a reason.

He was, now at least, caring around her, protected her with everything he had and he meant it that way. The problem was that he didn't have the guts to admit that which hurt them both the most.

"Okay", she gave back slowly, not knowing what to say because he wouldn't say what she wanted to hear anyway.

She pulled her cardigan tighter around her.

"Maybe that wasn't the entire truth", he voiced, having recognized the rather sad look in her eyes.

"I was jealous. Jealous of Huntley because he has been with you-", he uttered, looking down at his hands.

"I know it's none of my business but I hated the thought of him being so close to you, that lunch break I could only imagine where you two have been and it made me mad. Maybe that was part of the reason why I fought him", he tried to stay calm. Donna just stared at him, a little shocked at the thought that Harvey really thought that she had slept with Stephen.

"Uhm, I wasn't with Stephen, if it's that what you want to know, we never-, I was with Rachel that lunch break because I needed someone to talk to", she replied with a light smile on her face.

She looked at him with a rather surprised look and placed her hand on his arm, caressing it in reassurance.

"I'm glad, I mean not that it's any of my business", he said a little shy. He felt like a huge weight suddenly fell off his shoulder.

"It isn't but can we please stop talking about him, I'm tired", she had trouble to suppress a yawn.

"I'd like that", his voice sounded more relieved and happy.

She flashed a thankful smile at him and slowly moved a little closer to him, leaning her head to the left, so it would rest on his shoulder. He was surprised by her seeking closeness but it made him grin like a cheshire cat at the same time.

Her arm moved further around his biceps, pulling him closer. He flinched at her touch because he wasn't used to that and he couldn't even remember the last time something like this had happened. To her, his flinching felt like a rejection so she quickly moved away a little.

"Uhm, sorry", she voiced in an apologetic quiet tone.

"No, that wasn't", he uttered.

"Come here", he voiced, gesturing her that he didn't want her to regain that space in between them.

He stretched out his arm behind her, so she could rest her head on the crook on his neck.

A little hesitantly, she moved closer, resting her arm on the top of his chest. As a response he placed his arm around her waist, drawing soothing circles on the soft woolen fabric of her cardigan.

He had gotten rid of the suit jacket and was only in his white dress shirt but still he was getting hotter by the second even though he only blamed that on the woolen cardigan that was now covering him as well.

"You know, I was really worried about you", he muffled into her hair, not sure if she had heard him.

"It's okay, I'm okay", she voiced softly.

Only a few minutes ago she felt entirely bad but now with him just being there, she felt comfortable and safe.

"Usually I don't worry much about many people but with you it's different", he wasn't sure why he opened up that much but he figured that she needed to hear it and truth be told, he finally needed to give in the urge to speak his feeling out loud.

"I'm fine now", she emphasized the "now". Now she felt good. In his arms when he was the one to hold her. Being held by him was by far the best feeling that she had ever felt.

Vividly, images from the other time flashed though her mind. How he was holding her, burying his nose in the crook of neck without the intention of letting go of her.

His hand went up from her waist, up to her head where he started playing with her hair. She felt herself more and more dozing off, lazily in his arms. As if he knew that she was about to fall asleep he adjusted their position, slowly laying down on the huge couch, gently pulling her down with him.

Now they were laying down entirely and he even grabbed the soft blanket that was laying right next to him to keep her warm.

She just smiled, crawling closer to him to rest her right leg on top of him. Harvey mirrored her smile without even knowing it. All the drama from the last days has faded, both of them were just enjoying the quiet.

Without even recognizing it, she started drawing small circles on his tanned neck. She hasn't touched him there in over eight years but she knew exactly that it would make him relax immediately.

"Tell me something", she voiced against his soft skin.

"What do you want to know?", he asked, pulling her even a little closer.

"Hmm, what kind of guy were you in high school?", she randomly asked with a little chuckle.

"Amazing, great, good-looking, smart, every girls dream, high school-Donna totally would've fallen for me", he stated with a smug tone.

"How come that I don't believe you", he could feel her little smile on his skin.

"To be honest, I was on the baseball court most of the time. It was my escape from home", his voice gone thoughtful and she could hear the hurt leaping through.

"That was the theatre for me", she gave back, nostalgic from all the memories.

"I remember exactly how I felt to stand on stage with the crowd cheering at me. That's when I knew that I wanted to do that for the rest of my life. Just because of that incredible feeling", she continued with a sad smile on her face.

"I would love to see you on stage some time", he whispered into her hair and continued, "After I found out that my mom was cheating on my dad, I hated being home so I played baseball everyday, spent my weekends playing matches. It's what kept me closer to my dad", he stopped there for a bit, overwhelmed with all the emotions that suddenly hit him all over again, "He never missed any of my games. It made him insanely proud to see me on the baseball court. Later we still went to the batting cage when I came to visit him", he voiced quietly and he was surprised how much he opened about his past when he usually shoved it all underneath the rug, pretending that it didn't exist.

"That sounds nice", she gave back, picturing a young Harvey, hitting the balls, surrounded by a cheering crowd.

"Do you still play?", she asked a little curious.

"No, not really, sometimes I go to the batting cage here for the old memories sake", a thought crossed his mind.

"How about I show you how to hit a ball in the batting cage tomorrow?", he voiced in a questioning tone.

She was a little surprised by his sudden offer but more flattered because she knew that he hasn't shared this with anybody else but his Dad.

"How come that you think I don't know how to hit a ball?"

"Didn't want to offend you but you don't seem like that to me", he mirrored her smile and continued playing with her flaming red hair.

"To answer your question, yes, I'd love to", she said a little more happy than she should be.

"But now I want to know about high school-Donna", a big smile started to spread on his face.

High school-Harvey totally would've totally fallen for High school-Donna.

"Of course I was amazing, good-looking, charming, smart, every guy had a crush on me for sure", her voice was leaping with irony,

"Tell me the truth, Paulsen", he muffled into her hair.

"I may have made some very questionable hair decisions, that's for sure", she let out a laugh.

"I dyed them blond once because I hated the red and the worst thing was that I actually thought it suited me", she continued, thinking back at her sixteen year old self, entirely proud of her new hair.

"Why? The red looks great", he stated, looking down at her flaming red hair. It was perfect, building a perfect contrast to her fair skin and her sparking hazel eyes.

"I don't know, just so you know I didn't like the freckles for a while too", she added.

"How could you not love them. I lo-", he stopped himself there, "I like them", he corrected but she had already figured out what he was about to say.

"And it wasn't like the hair that I could change easily, I mean I'm basically covered in freckles", she continued with a smile on her face, going down memory lane.

"My sister used to call me ladybug because of them and not in a friendly way", she added, rolling her eyes at memories.

"But ladybug is sweet", he defended. He didn't know much about her sister, just that she was a few years older and lived somewhere in Connecticut with a husband and four children. Donna told him that they didn't have much in common and that's why they don't talk that often.

"Not when it comes from your pretty sister who knows that she's prettier", she interfered. Harvey had trouble picturing someone prettier than Donna. Damn he was so smitten.

"To me you're prettier", he stated with a laugh.

"That's funny because you don't even know what she looks like", his comment made her laugh.

"Well, I don't need to know", he gently stroked the strands of hair that had fallen in her face behind her ear.

"You're just saying that to make me feel better", she voiced, nose still buried in the crook of his neck.

"You know that's not the truth", he whispered into her hair. Usually, he didn't say stuff like that to any other woman. Donna made him a whipped man even without them dating but moments like this made it feel that way.

When they were just innocently reminiscing about their teenage years, comfortably laying in each others arms.

Who knew Harvey Specter would be such a cuddler.

"Anyways", she continued. She wasn't able to hide that smile on her lips when he said that about her.

"I had that douchy boyfriend who was on the football team. He was cute but insanely stupid", she let out a laugh.

She remembered exactly how she dumped him.

"For some reason I always knew that you were a heart-breaker", he implied with a smug look.

"What can I say. It was in my nature", she replied nonchalantly which made him laugh.

"Not much has changed", he continued. His left hand now made his way to her right leg to keep it from slipping away from him. He couldn't even hide that he wanted her closer.

His hand met her bare skin which caused shivers running through her entire body and she instantly hoped that he didn't feel what kind of effect he had on her.

His fingers started drawing small circles on her thigh.

It made him curious that she hasn't said anything yet which let him to second guess the entire being so close to her thing.

She proved him wrong by melting further into his embrace.

"Is everything okay?", he asked after a short while.

He felt her steady breath on his neck and it was one of the best feelings he ever had.

"Yes, I'm just getting a little bit sleepy", she voiced tiredly. He replied with pulling up the blanket to her shoulders to tuck her in.

"Harvey, you don't need to do all of this-" but he already interrupted her.

"Shh, I'm here because I want to be here and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else", he replied in an honest voice.

It was the truth, he wouldn't change anything about this.

He was right were he wanted to be, right where he truly belonged.

She flashed a smile which he couldn't see but feel and even though it was just a simple and small gesture, it made him happy. He could feel her slowly dozing off and felt how he got tired as well.

A few minutes later he happily fell asleep as well.

She woke up early. It was still dark outside but she could make out sun rays fighting their way through the dark clouds. It was raining lightly and the raindrops were splashing against the window with a calming sound.

She was tucked in between the high sofa rest and Harvey. She was the little spoon and he was covering her little body with his. He was basically glued to her back.

Her head rested on his muscular arm and his other arm was wrapped around her small frame. She could feel his steady breath in her hair and it was a good feeling. Not wanting to wake him, she slowly turned around, allowing his arm to rest on her back but he subconsciously pulled her closer, letting out a content sigh.

It made her smile like a cheshire cat. Now that she was facing him directly, she could see how relaxed he looked. The tense look on his face and the clenched jaw that haven't left his face the entire last day were long gone and he simply looked happy and a little younger.

He looked cute was what she thought and she simply couldn't stop staring. The beating that he took from Stephen yesterday left a small red line on his cheek bone but apart from that he looked great.

She moved up her arm up from underneath the blanket and gently started caressing his cheek. The soft movements woke him up from his light sleep and he slowly opened his eyes.

"Sorry, I didn't want to wake you", she whispered with an apologetic smile on her face.

"Don't be sorry, I was kind of awake anyway", his voice was lower than usual and she nearly had forgotten how his morning voice sounded. Her hand still rested on his cheek but it wasn't awkward, it felt natural. He pulled her closer with the hand that was now resting on her waist. The cardigan that was so tightly wrapped around her shoulder last night was now hanging loosely down her arm, not covering much.

He dared himself not to look at her cleavage because it was inappropriate but all of this drew the images from the other time back into his mind.

One of the thin straps of the short neglige dress was nearly falling down from her shoulder and he couldn't stop thinking about how last time he pushed them away to place kisses down on her delicate shoulder, treasuring every freckle on there.

She noticed his staring and raised her gaze up to his. To him she looked absolutely gorgeous in the warm sunlight that was now painting the room. His dark brown eyes were filled with desire and the tension was thicker than it has ever been before.

Their faces were parallel to each other and her hand still remained on his cheek.

"Does it still hurt?", she whispered, he was completely mesmerized by her.

"It's fine", he gave back with a little smile lingering on his lips. She wanted to kiss the smile of his lips so badly.

The desire was flowing through her entire body and it made her move even closer towards his body. Her hand wandered from his cheek down to his tanned neck, sending shivers down his spine. She loved the effect her touch had on him.

He felt his body getting more hot by the second, inching even closer. His gaze fluttered from her tempting hazel eyes to her full lips and the same went from her. Their noses now barely touching, she looked in his eyes one more time, searching for reassurance when she closed her eyes and moved further towards him. He had the same intentions and with her gestures he felt all the confidence in what he was about to do.

Her hand was now buried in his messed up hair when they closed the gap between them.

Their soft lips met after eight years again that it felt like an eternity. The kiss started off innocent but she impatiently pulled his body against hers, desperate to feel him closer. He deepened the kiss with all he had to give, slowly laying her down on her back, now covering half of her body with his.

She wanted him. Now. With every fibre of her heated body. Her hands were impatiently wandering down on his shirt when he stopped her.

"Donna-", it went against everything in him to set an end to this, at least temporarily. She didn't want to stop when her left hand was pulling on his shirt.

"Donna-", he voiced repeatedly when she was of no intention to stop.

He gently lifted himself up and let his head rest on his hand earning a surprised look from her. Her hair was slightly deranged and he could see the fire burning in her eyes.

"I want this", he let out, not quite knowing how to put it in words.

"And I want you", he continued, earning another questioning look from her. He wanted her to know that what he did there didn't mean that he didn't want her, it meant the opposite. He didn't want these things happening too fast because she was too important to him to rush everything.

"But I don't want to take things too fast with you because you mean too much to me", tears were forming in her eyes and he felt like he did everything wrong that he could possibly do wrong.

"I'm sorry", he voiced in a soft voice.

"Uhm, no it's just that-", a tear rolled down her cheek and he quickly caught it with his finger.

"It's sweet", she added, flashing a little smile at him.

"I know you felt bad after the other time, like I just wanted to sleep with you and then move on", he voiced slowly.

"And I want you to believe that it isn't like that this time and to be honest it wasn't like that the last time. You were more to me than-", he wanted to say so many more things but she just pressed her lips on his and interrupted him.

"Got it", she flashed a soft smile at him, ready to melt in his warm embrace again when he got up from the couch.

"Why are you getting up?", she cried out, already missing the warmth of his body surrounding her.

"I'm going to make us breakfast and coffee and then we have a date at the batting cage", he let out in a motivated and content voice.

"Ugh, you're such morning person", she gave back, not happy with that at all even though she couldn't suppress a smile when he used the word date. She had no idea what they were right now but that didn't bother her. She was just lucky that he was there and that he implied to her that he wanted to stay and that not just today.

He made his way to her kitchen that was directly connected to the living room and he looked for food. She didn't have much in the fridge but he found the ingredients for pancakes.

A few minutes later she found the courage to get up from the couch when she smelled the tempting scent fo coffee with one familiar ingredient that she had introduced him to eight years ago and that he stuck with ever since.

"Here", he handed her the first cup that he made out of the two when she approached him behind the kitchen counter. She had now completely gotten rid of the cardigan but he forced himself not to look at her like that. Not very successfully but he had to try. He was the one who was promoting all of this going slow thing because it was the best, he knew that. Both of them knew that but their natural instincts drew them together despite that.

"Hm, the coffee's good. Maybe I'm keeping you", she hummed while he was flapping the pancakes.

"I feel flattered", he replied in an ironic voice. She sat down on one of the bar stools on her kitchen counter from where she just looked at him while he made pancakes. That was a view she could definitely get used to, his sleeves rolled up and his hair still a mess.

When they were fully done, he put them on a large plate and placed them right in front of Donna over her left shoulder. He placed a soft kiss in her hair before he turned around to clean the pan in the sink.

"Come here, you need to eat too", she voiced after she heard him rummaging through the kitchen for a while.

"I'm right here", he approached her from behind and gestured her to lean back against his muscular upper body. He placed his arms around her shoulders, stealing himself a piece of pancake from the plate.

"I swear Harvey, if you leave crumbs in my hair", she dared but couldn't suppress the smile that started to spread on her face.

"I promise I'm careful", he gave back but a few crumbs have already fallen into her hair. Nonchalantly, he tried to remove them from there without her noticing.

"I'm going to shower anyway", she voiced when she felt his unsuccessful attempts of removing the pancake crumbs from her hair.

"Sorry", he really wasn't.

After she finished the pancakes, she hopped off the chair and pulled him closer by his shoulders, trapping herself in between the kitchen counter and Harvey.

"How about, I'm going to take a shower, you'll quickly go home or not and then we'll go to the batting cage", she voiced a little seductive, definitely wanting him to stay.

"Sounds like a plan", he gave back and placed a soft kiss on her lips. Before she could pull him in further, he moved around and grabbed his suit jacket that was laying on the couch.

He turned around once more and voiced, "See you in an hour, Paulsen". That's when he left and she only heard the door closing behind him.

She let out a huge sigh, totally starstruck by everything that has happened today. She and Harvey had kissed and then it stopped and then he more or less told her that he wanted to take it slow because she meant too much to him to rush this.

All of this was still running through her head when she was standing underneath a warm shower, somehow trying to wash the crumbs out of her hair. The thought of his arms wrapped around her made her smile. She was so smitten.

He made his way to his apartment as fast as possible just to be with her quicker, it was ridiculous but he felt so great. It's the best he has ever felt since the other time. After a quick shower he opted for a dark jeans and a tight, dark grey, long sleeved shirt. Even the steady rain couldn't vanish his good mood.

Donna on the other side had trouble deciding what to wear. It was ridiculous. She wanted to look good for him which she always did so that made it even harder to find the pieces in her ginormous closet that made his heart skip even a bit more than usual.

In the end she chose a dark grey jeans and a tight fitted white long sleeved shirt that was tugged into her jeans and hugged her curves perfectly. She added black leather boots to the fit and opted for a matching short leather jacket that she thought was appropriate for the occasion.

Her hair was put into the same half-up-half-down hairstyle that she was wearing on their night out only this time she didn't have time to straighten her hair, so her natural curls were bouncing around her shoulders.

She smiled happily in the mirror when she heard three familiar knocks on the door.

It was a success. At the gaze of her his heart skipped a beat and he had to swallow. She looked great. He could count the amount of times that he saw her in her casual clothes on one hand but to him she looked more beautiful than ever before.

"You look gorgeous", he told her the same thing a few days ago at the office but this time he didn't sheepishly stare down, afraid to see the reaction in her eyes. No, now, he smiled at her with that cheshire cat grin that had melted her heart for way too long.

"Thank you, know you don't look so bad yourself", she gave back mirroring his huge smile.

"Ready to learn how to hit a ball?", he asked, offering her his hand which she accepted with a little eye-roll.

"I'm going to surprise you, Specter", she stated in a confident voice, while she let the door of her apartment fall into its lock.

"I'm certainly sure of that", he voiced and he wasn't just alluding to their activities at the batting cage.

The elevator doors opened and he stepped in first.

Their hands were still locked when he pulled her into a hug. She was totally caught by surprise but melted in quickly.

"I missed you", he whispered into her hair. He didn't know what suddenly hit him but apparently he couldn't stay without her for one hour now.

"That barely was an hour", she let out a laugh, loosening the hug a bit so that she could look him in the eyes

"But I mean I get why you missed me", she continued nonchalantly while placing her hands on his cheek to then place a kiss on his lips. He instantly pulled her closer but before he could deepen the kiss the elevator doors opened with a sound.

"We have a really shitty timing, don't we?", she mumbled in an annoyed voice as they where walking out of the apartment building.

The rain was pouring now which only proved her point. Harvey on the other side didn't mind the rain at all.

She was about to walk about to the street to hail a cab when he grabbed her arm and pulled her around to kiss her.

This time they weren't interrupted by anything which led to him deepening the kiss this time.

His arms lavishly pulled her in by her waist. As a reflex her arms wrapped around his neck and she totally gave into the kiss. She could feel how the rain was wandering through the layers of her closes but she didn't care. Harvey was the only that was on her mind. The same went for him.

He didn't know how long they've been standing there now when she slowly pulled away from him. She opened her hazel eyes and couldn't suppress the huge smile that was forming on her face.

His hands tried to dry her face from the raindrops but there were too many of them.

"We should get a cab", he voiced while he tried to shield her from the rain with his jacket.

A few minutes later they sat on the leather seats, his hand on her leg while she looked at him with a content look on her face. They haven't put an official name on what they were but she liked how it was right know. It would get complicated soon enough that was for sure but right know she just wanted to treasure every moment with him.

The taxi driver dropped them off somewhere in lower Manhattan where Donna had never been before. Harvey took her hand when they walked up to an old rusty looking building.

Not many people where there so they nearly had the batting cage to themselves. She threw her jacket over a chair that was standing in a corner. Her white shirt had gone nearly see-through by now he couldn't stop staring at her.

"I knew that I did something wrong with my choice of clothing", she voiced, stepping closer to him. He could clearly see the outlines of a white bra with lots of lace on it.

"Well, depends on how you see it", he gave back with a smug look.

"You're an idiot", she stated, while she put her jacket back on, zipping it up.

"Ready?", she stepped closer towards him, grabbing the bat they rented. It was heavier than she anticipated but she pretended that she could swing it without any difficulties.

"More ready than ever", he flashed a smile, approaching her closer.

"First of all, you need to know how to hold the bat", he stepped behind her, placing the bat right in her hands.

"Good", he whispered, she was a little distracted by him.

"Your position is good. Now, we hit the first ball together and then we see how it goes", he voiced close to her ear.

She could feel his perfume linger around her. He placed a quick kiss on her neck before they hit the ball. Without much thinking, she swayed the bat, exactly how Harvey had told her.

"You did it, Paulsen", but he wasn't even surprised that she did that well.

"I want to do it again", she let out cheerfully.

Now she understood why Harvey loved the batting cage. He could let go there and channel all his anger into the hits.

"Okay, now you're going to do it alone", he got to a safe spot and activated the ball machine again.

She hit it perfectly and jumped up and down.

"Not bad for your first time", he stated, making his way towards her.

"That was not bad for any time", she gave back with confidence leaping through her voice.

"High school-Harvey wouldn't stand a chance against you", he smiled while he took the bat. Donna made her way to the side to see him hit a few balls.

She was impressed. His only focus was the ball and he hit it with such precision. It made her smile. When she saw him like that she could imagine how he went here with his Dad and maybe even with his brother a few years back, casually mocking each other. She was entirely ripped out of her thoughts when she heard him call her name.

"Hey, is everything okay?", he asked a little worried. He had packed up his stuff.

"Yes, sure", she gave back following him outside.

"You seemed a little thoughtful in there", he voiced and placed his hand on the small of her back.

"I was just thinking about your dad. He used to call me at the office every now and then, always asking about you. He was so proud", she said quietly.

"He was and he loved you. He always asked me about he pretty and witty redhead. You probably listened to the all the calls but he always used to yell at me for not having asked you on a date yet. He would be proud if he knew that I now did", he voiced, swallowing at the thought of their phone calls back then.

"I didn't listen", she simply gave back. She knew that Gordon liked her but she never would've guessed that he wanted to see them together.

"He would be proud of you, no matter what. I'm sure of that", she stated with a soft smile on her face.

"I guess… Where do you want go now?", he asked while he pulled her closer to him. They never really did this.

This casual walking around the city.

"I don't know. Are you hungry?", she asked.

"Yes, what about Del Posto?", he already knew her answer to that when a big smile was spreading on her face.

"But it isn't our anniversary", she stated with a questioning look on her face. He stopped her right in the middle of the sidewalk with all the people walking past her and pulled in for a kiss.

"But it will be now", he gave back with a smirk on his face.

"Who knew Harvey Specter would be such a romantic?", she voiced happily while she loosened herself from him, took his hand and pulled him forwards.

"That's all your fault", he replied. Her little hand was a perfect fit in his and he couldn't stop grinning all the way to Del Posto.

They arrived at Del Posto a few minutes later when it has stopped raining. The waiter offered them a cozy table somewhere in the corner.

"I am underdressed for Del Posto", she said after a while. Her shirt has fully dried by now so it wasn't see through anymore.

"You look amazing", he simply stated, raising one eyebrow.

"Thank you", the dimples on her face occurred when she flashed him a smile.

"Seriously, you need to stop thanking me for making you a compliment. I'm just stating the facts", he added.

"It's day one and I already turned you into a sap", she ironically rolled her eyes.

"No, I'm not a sap… I'm just happy that you are my…", he sheepishly looked at the ground. The smile on her face grew wider.

"I'm your what?", she asked in all seriousness, forcing the answer out of him. She wanted him to say it.

"You're my girlfriend, here you have it", he gave back trying to sound annoyed but he couldn't hide his grin when he used the word "girlfriend" to describe his relationship to Donna.

"So I'm your girlfriend", she stated, she was really having fun now.

"I'm so going to break up with you", he let out a laugh while he took her hand. Only they could joke about breaking up on their first date.

"I don't think so, Specter", she flashed him a devilish smile.

"Like I once said, if you were ever lucky enough to have me, you wouldn't want to share", she continued nonchalantly.

"No, I wouldn't want to share, never wanted", his hand was still resting on top of hers, caressing it gently.

"Kind of had a vague idea of that", she winked at him which made him roll his eyes again.

"I always… just wanted to protect you", the atmosphere has become more serious but neither of them seemed to mind that.

"I know and that's kind of cute", she smiled at him and looked down at their locked hands. Only three days ago they did the same but now everything's changed.

"Don't call me cute", he gave back.

"I'm many things but not cute", he continued.

"You have your moments", she simply gave back.

A few moments later the waiter arrived with their food that they ordered a while ago. Like the last time Harvey pushed the plate further across the table so she could access it better. She flashed him a thanking smile and began to eat.

He watched her for a while before he dived the fork into his pasta as well. It was still hard for him to wrap his mind around the fact that him and Donna were dating, it was the best feeling in the world.

They were interrupted by a text message from Mike.

"The puppy asks if you're fine", he showed her the text.

"That's sweet of him but why does he ask you?", she remarks.

"Well he basically saw me storming off last night and he must've figured that I went to your place", he stated.

"Send him a pic", she said. She let the fork sink to her plate and waited till Harvey opened the camera.

He took a few pictures of her and she looked absolutely adorable. Her skin was glowing and she looked genuinely happy.

"What takes you so long?", she asked a little impatient when he was still occupied with his phone.

"Don't you know how to send a photo", she asked, making fun of him before she took his phone out of his hand.

He quickly switched it off but then she pushed the home button.

"You did not-", she let out a laugh when she herself at the screen, smiling in the camera.

"I did and now give me my phone back. I still need to send the puppy that picture", he felt like he just got caught.

"I need one of you too, then", she said a little forceful.

"We'll take some later, okay", he gave back in a calming tone.

He put his phone away and faced her with his full attention.

"Where do you wanna go first. Hermès or Chanel?", he smirked at her.

"You know you don't have to go shopping with me, Harvey", she replied but she had a huge grin on her face.

"But if you absolutely want to, we'll go in that exact order", she continued.

"I want to", he said and he meant it.

"Do you want dessert?", he asked then.

"No, not now", she emphasized the "now" and licked lips.

She knew exactly what effect she had on him with her actions.

"Sure", he gave back totally mesmerized by her.

They walked out of Del Posto when he grabbed her hand to hold it.

"I never pictured you for the guy who would hold hands in public", she voiced a little surprised.

"Are you done mocking me now?", he looked down to her.

Her freckles were glowing in the sun and it looked like they were dancing in her nose.

"Never", she gave back and he didn't expect that she ever would. It was one of the things that he loved about her.

She was his favorite person to mock him.

They went to Hermès but Donna didn't like the colors of the bags. Harvey was completely shook how much she knew about these bag. She was able to name at least three persons who have worn that exact bag and what the story of the bag was.

To him they were just bags but to her they were way more. He loved getting to know more things about her.

After that they made their way to Louboutin were she had her eye on a particular pair of crimson colored high heels.

Harvey was more than lucky to assist her with making her decision. When the assistant neatly put them back into the box, so she could wrap them up all nicely, Harvey was about take them to the cash register when Donna stopped him.

"No, Harvey", she let out a little forceful.

"What, I just wanted to taking them to pay", he said nonchalantly but a little confused about why she stopped him like that.

"But I don't want you to pay for them", she slowly replied.

"Why not?", he really didn't understand the reason.

"Because I can pay for it myself and I don't want you to pay for my stuff all the time. I know you don't care about those kind of things but I don't want it to seem like-", but he already stopped her there.

"I get it, okay not really but if you want to pay for them, okay but no one's gonna think like that", he voiced in a reassuring tone.

"Thank you", she gave him a quick kiss on his cheek before she went to pay for the heels.

"But I'm going to buy you a dress today, Paulsen", he said when they left the store, him carrying the bag and before she could say anything against it he added, "We are equal then, don't you dare resist", so she willingly accepted his offer.

They entered a few designer stores but Donna wasn't happy with the options there. Harvey was just about to get a little tired when they were entering Balmain. He didn't dare to sit down so he walked around the store. Donna was somewhere in the corner, looking through the exquisite dresses when Harvey found the one.

It was a tight fitting dark blue dress with a v-cut cleavage. The dress was a little shorter than her usual dresses but it basically screamed Donna's name. The assistant walked up to him, asking if she could help.

"I'd like that one", he simply stated.

"Is it the right size or do we need to get another?", the assistant asked. He had no clue what size Donna was wearing, she had a delicate figure but he didn't know to what that would translate in women's sizing.

"I don't know but my girlfriend is right there, she'll know", his face lightened up when he used the word girlfriend.

Donna noticed that he found something, so she walked up right beside him.

"I think that's a match", the assistant voiced when she saw Donna and handed Harvey the dress.

"If you need help, I'll be right there", she voiced as she walked away, giving the two of them a little space.

"You have great taste", she admitted as she was inspecting the dress further.

"I know", he looked at Donna, implying that that didn't only apply to his taste in dresses.

"I'll try it on", she hadn't tried on any dress today so Harvey felt a little flattered that his one was worth it.

"I'll be back in no time", she flashed him a happy smile when she was disappearing in the huge changing rooms.

The dress fitted perfectly. It hugged her curves at all the right places and was a great contrast to her hair and her fair skin. She stepped out of the changing room.

If she saw that right, Harvey's jaw dropped a bit as she was walking towards him, turning around and swaying it to see it better in the huge mirrors.

"How do I look?", she asked innocently, pretending like she didn't see his first reaction to the dress.

"You look stunning", he gave back in all honesty.

"And that's on me", he stated with a warning look on his face when she walked back into the changing room.

"Okay, you won", she voiced from inside.

"Harvey…?", she asked a few minutes later.

"Everything okay?", he replied, he didn't really know what she was up to.

"Can you help me with the zipper?"

"Uhm, sure", he stepped into the changing room right behind her.

"It's stuck", he whispered but his fingers were shaking a little bit because truth be told, she made him freaking nervous. Donna saw his focused look in the mirror in front of her.

"Okay, I got it", he slowly pulled the zipper down.

"Thanks", she just whispered. He was too close now.

She could feel his hot breath on her neck. His hands wrapped themselves around her waist and he placed a kiss just underneath her ear. They travelled down to her neck while his hands wandered down to her hips, pulling her in by her waist.

"Harvey-", she voiced in warning tone but he didn't hear her. He slowly pushed the dress down on her shoulder, placing kisses there too. Knowing where this was heading she gently removed his hands from her waist and and turned around where his hands found their place on her hips again.

"Harvey-", she voiced again a little forceful but with huge smirk on her face as she slowly pushed him out of the changing room so she could change back into her casual clothes. He let out a slightly annoyed sigh as he stepped out.

A few minutes later they entered the main room in the store again so Harvey could pay for the dress. They walked through the streets, making their way to Central Park. He hasn't been there for a long time because he barely had the time to just go for a walk with the work load that he was carrying. The same went for her. Even on the weekends she was occupied with work most of the time.

This time it was Donna who took his hand.

"Who's the sap now?", he voiced with an amused tone in his voice. As a response she playfully squeezed his arm.

They grabbed coffee at a coffee cart and sat down on a bench. His arm rested around her as she was leaning against his shoulder.

"We still need to take that picture", he whispered in her hair as she was closing her eyes, totally relaxed by the sound of the birds chirping.

"You're right", she quickly pulled her phone out of the pocket on her leather jacket.

She leaned back on his shoulder again while he wrapped his arm around her upper body when she took the picture. Both of them smiled at the camera.

"We look adorable", she voiced as she was putting it as her lock screen.

"You look adorable", he emphasized the "you" and placed a quick kiss in her red hair.

Too many times today he nearly said I love you but he figured it was too early which was ridiculous if he considered that he already loved her for the past eight years.

She sipped on her coffee in peace when he muffled a quick "I love you" into her hair.

"Did you say something?", she asked, turning her head upwards to take a lot at his face.

"No, nothing", he just smiled at her, still lucky that he said it. She would hear it soon enough.
