Note: Dabi is Todoroki Touya in this story. Some characters may see, OOC in this as well, but considering the subject matter, it will make sense.

Dabi's Plan

Dabi was stuck at his apartment. He would have been with the villains, but things had settled down, and there was no fun at the moment. He ran a hand through his black dyed hair, and rubbed at the scar that engulfed his whole lower face.

"What is there to do?" He wondered.

Endeavor was not around, so there was no motivation to start trouble at the moment, but that brought him back to square one.

"I can visit mother at the hospital!"

His eyes caught his reflection in the mirror.

"I can't go looking like this; I would need one of my siblings just to get close to her."

Dabi pulled out a notebook, and a pen. He began to write the pros and cons at which sibling he would take. He put his pen down, and grimaced.

"Looks like the only way this would work is to kidnap one of them."

He listed his sister Fuyumi, she would probably be the easiest to convince, after she got over the whole kidnapping thing. However, she probably would recognize him the easiest of his siblings, and try to convince him not to be a villain and lecture him. Plus, despite her calm nature, she could be scary if she was angry. She would be the easiest to obtain of his siblings, but the chance of her recognizing him was too risky. He crossed his sister of the list.

Next he wrote down his brother Natsuo. He would be harder to kidnap, considering he would be at his college. Also, there was a chance he could cause a huge scene if Dabi tried to abduct him. Plus, he ran into the same problem as Fuyumi, him recognizing him too easily. Granted, both siblings would be easier to drag with him to the hospital to visit his mom, but the idea of them getting into trouble helping him ran high, so Natsuo was crossed of the list.

Finally, Shoto was placed on the list. His youngest brother was about an hour away, considering his dad took all the students of 1-A to a retreat to show them what it was to live as a number one hero. This actually led him to his current dilemma. It would be pretty hard to kidnap his youngest sibling, but snatching him under his hated father's nose made the risk worthy. He went through his list; Shoto would have a harder time recognizing him than the other two, and whether he did or not, there was no way he would cooperate with him with his plans.

"Sorry little brother, but you are not going to have a good day."

Dabi listed what he would need, and what his plan would be. He would need to get ahold of a quirk suppressant, some other supplies, and a plan to keep his brother hostage in plain sight. He made a detailed plan, with what he would need, and how he would transport his brother to the hospital. His apartment was at least an hour away from the hospital. Plus, he was sure he needed to hold his brother prisoner for a couple days, before attempting his voyage. The idea would be challenging, but the effort would pay off. He tucked the notebook away, and began to plan his brother's kidnapping. He would have his brother in his clutches by tonight if all his planning paid off.

Shoto let out a soft sigh. He hated this retreat, his father somehow convinced UA to let the students to come out to his retreat. It was supposed to show the students what it was like as the number one hero. His dad just used the trip to show off that he could use his money to buy out an inn, and how much security cameras he could have on any property he was on. Shoto hated dealing with him in general, but today was the worst, and he still had at least two days with him. He ran a hand through his bi-colored hair, and signed again.

"I can't wait for this trip to be over."

He was relieved that it was now after dinner, and everyone got to go to bed. He groaned at what was laid on his futon, someone had put a pale blue night shirt, and matching pants. Both were made of the finest fabric available, and he knew his dad was behind it. If he got the chance, his dad tried getting him to wear the most expensive clothes he could find. Shoto was fine in simple clothes, so he tossed the pajamas aside, and began searching for something he liked.

"Figures..."

Shoto had searched his room up and down, but it seemed that his dad made sure he had no choice, but to wear what he had thrown to the ground. He could sleep in his current outfit, but it was dirty, and he was in need of a bath. The room had bath, and each student had their own room. He reluctantly gathered his pajamas, and got ready to take a bath. After he took his bath, he unrolled his futon, and laid it out. He was getting really tired, so once he got comfortable, he was out like a light.

"AAAAAHHHHHHH!"

The sound of screaming woke Shoto up.

"What's going on?" Shoto asked.

He sat up with a jolt when he saw his entire room engulfed in blue flames. He jumped up, and the world spun, it took him a minute to realize there was smoke. Smoke inhalation! He covered the lower half of his face, and began to use his ice quirk to make a pathway to the door. It was slightly harder to use due to the smoke and fire, but he managed.

"I have to make sure we get out of here."

He pushed himself up, still covering his face, fighting the urge to cough. He stumbled out of the room and saw the innkeepers getting everyone out of their rooms. He used his ice quirk to make the whole thing easier. Rooms were checked, and he made sure to stay behind to make sure everyone was evacuated. The blue flames seemed to be concentrated, and the fire seemed to be focused on the wing of his part of the inn.

"Once we get out of here, I will let the teachers know."

"Cough, Cough!"

He could not suppress the urge to cough, and even though the blue flames did not send up too much smoke, it seemed to be concentrated as well. Putting that to the back of his mind, he used his ice to continue evacuating the hotel. It did not take long to get out, and the whole inn courtyard was filled with students, innkeepers, and a couple teachers. The night was chilly, and everyone was wearing what they ran out in. The teachers were taking a role call on everyone.

"Todoroki Shoto?"

Shoto was snapped out of his thoughts.

"Here."

Once accounted for, the teacher moved on. The guests were forced further back, and towards the woods, when the firetrucks came. Shoto was in a haze, the air was clearing out his lungs of the smoke, but he was tired from using his ice quirk in the strange conditions he woke up to. He looked over to check on his classmates, who were all recovering as well, but were all accounted for.

"Thank goodness." He thought.

He scanned the crowd, and jolted a bit, when he saw his dad standing in front of him. He did not know when he arrived, but he stood out among the crowd. While he was distracted by the events in front of him, and still recovering, he failed to realize that someone was sneaking up on him.

"Ow."

He felt a sharp prick on his arm, but it did not register to him what it was. Before he could turn to see what pricked him, a cloth was placed over his nose and mouth. Followed by a vice-like grip that pinned his arms to his side. The cloth had a strange smell to it, which was making him dizzy. He tried to summon his ice quirk but nothing happened, and then he tried to summon his fire quirk, still nothing.

"I'm getting kidnapped?!"

Shoto tried to struggle, but the smell was overwhelming his senses. He tried to call for help, but his cried were muffled under the cloth, and the sounds going on around him. His last vision was everyone around him blurring, and what he thought was a security camera, before darkness took him.

Dabi pulled his brother away from the crowd. He had acquired his target; under his father's very nose no less! He looked over his unconscious; he had not seen him up close for a long time, well, except for the training camp where the league of villains kidnapped another student. His brother was wearing fancy pajamas, which Dabi knew he was probably forced in; he was not one to wear that kind of stuff. Shoto was a simple child. He gently brushed a hand over the scar on his brother's left eye.

"Sorry little bro, no hard feelings, but I need you for something." Dabi told the teen. "Kidnapping you under Endeavor's nose was a bonus."

Dabi moved closer to his brother, and shifted him into a sitting position. He put away the cloth, and put his brother in a piggy back ride position. His brother was slumped against him, his head resting on Dabi's right shoulder. Dabi made his way to a car he had stolen, and his further up the road. He did not have to worry about Shoto waking up between the time he carried him to it, and restrained him.

"That bastard, I wish I could see his shock when he realizes I kidnapped Shoto right under his nose." Dabi muttered.

It did not take him long to reach the stolen car, he unlocked the back seat area, and placed his brother gently on the seat in the back. He opened the trunk, and pulled out a duffle bag. He pulled out his supplies. He had some more syringes filled with quirk suppressants, as well as rope and cloth. He took his time tying up his brother. When he was done, Shoto was tied at the wrists, with rope around his upper and lower arms. He was also tied at the ankles, and above and below his knees. Dabi had placed a cloth in his mouth, and had tied another cloth around the lower half of his face to gag him, and keep the cloth in his mouth.

"What the hell am I doing?" Dabi asked himself.

It registered to Dabi what he was doing. He just kidnapped his baby brother. His motivation was to see his mother, but part of him felt that he went too far. It was too late to back out, and he was not going to lie, putting one over the man that biologically was his father, gave him a thrill. Plus, if he left his brother to be found, he could fall into real danger.

"Looks like you are my reluctant guest." Dabi told his brother.

Shoto did not stir. Dabi checked the time, it was around midnight now, and not many people would be out on the road at this time, especially to a place that was over an hour away from the city. He shifted his brother into a sitting position, and buckled him in. He was not going to risk the boy's safety. Kidnapping aside that is. Dabi got behind the wheel, and made the drive back to his apartment.

Shoto stirred, his mind was completely fuzzy.

"What happened?"

Shoto slowly became aware of his surroundings. He was moving! Except, he was not really moving, he was in a vehicle of some sort. Next thing he became aware of was that he had been restrained.

"Mmph!" he called out.

Cold dread filled him. He had been gagged too!

"Looks who's awake." A bored voice said.

Shoto felt his eyes widen in shock. Dabi was in the front seat of the vehicle! He had been kidnapped by a villain! Even though he was still out of it, he began to struggle, but the ropes and the seatbelt pinned him.

"Relax." Dabi told him. "I'm just borrowing you for a couple days, and then you get to go home."

That did not make Shoto relax, he just struggled harder. He tried to use his quirks as well, but nothing happened like before when he was being abducted in the first place.

"I knew you would be challenge, but it's a good thing, just not right now."

Shoto felt the car slow down, and get pulled to the side of the road. He struggled even harder, but to no avail. Dabi pulled out his duffle bag, and extracted another piece of cloth. Seeing that, Shoto tried to find the seatbelt buckle, but with his upper body tightly restrained, he could not budge. Dabi opened his door, and Shoto tried to pull away. It was in vain, as the cloth blinded Shoto's vision. Shoto felt the seatbelt unbuckle, and flung himself away from Dabi.

"Woah! Easy! I knew you would be a challenge, but not like this." Dabi replied.

Shoto hated how amused he sounded. He had managed to fling himself on the seat, but being blindfolded, he did not know what his next move would be. He did not get the choice, because Dabi made it for him. Dabi pulled him from the back, and despite the struggle Shoto put up, his kidnapper got him under control.

"You are going to keep me company." Dabi told him.

Shoto was moved to a different part of the car, and buckled in. He heard Dabi close the door, and shortly after get in beside him. The car started again, so Shoto concluded his was most likely in the passenger seat. Despite the circumstances, exhaustion took over Shoto, and he passed out.

Shoto stirred again to the sound of shouting. It took him a couple seconds to remember where he was but his memories came back quickly. It took him slightly longer to realize who was yelling.

"What's the meaning of this!?" A voice bellowed.

It was his dad.

"Relax; I'm just borrowing your son for a couple days."

Shoto heard Dabi chuckling.

"When I get my hands on you, you will regret it!"

"Too bad, you should have kept a better eye on your son." Dabi replied.

Shoto heard swearing and yelling, but Dabi's chuckles drowned him out.

"Kidnapping you was the best choice ever." Dabi told him.

Shoto heard his dad go ballistic.

"Hey, that's not language you should use in front of a child." Dabi taunted. "If you calm down, I may let you talk to him."

Shoto was surprised when his dad shut up, but he was still muttering under his breath.

"I'm going to turn off the phone, but I will all you right back."

Shoto heard his dad start to swear again, but he was cut off. Dabi pulled off his blindfold, and Shoto blinked a couple times. He looked around, and saw that he did not recognize anything.

"I was planning to do this once I got back to my apartment, but I did not want your dad to recognize anything when we got there."

"He must live in the city then." Shoto thought.

"Now, let's let your dad video chat you."

Dabi dialed the number, which confused Shoto; no one had his cellphone number except those close to him. The phone only had to ring once, when his dad answered the phone. Shoto winced at his dad's yell.

"Shoto, are you alright!?" His father demanded.

Shoto groaned weakly, before letting his head fall back against the seat.

"Mmph…" He mumbled weakly.

His dad's scarred face found Dabi, who was partially hidden in the shadows.

"What the hell did you do to him?!"

Shoto saw Dabi smirk.

"Gave him a quirk suppressant, and chloroformed him as well."

Shoto noticed his dad look back at him through the phone, and look him over.

"Shoto…" His dad started.

Dabi hung up the phone.

"He's not calling you weak, I won't allow it."

Shoto looked over to Dabi, not understanding his kidnapper's motives.

"Can't let you recognize anything either."

That was the only warning Shoto received, before he was blindfolded again. Dabi drove them around a bit, but Shoto was sure it was to disorient him, so that he would not know where they were actually going. He felt the car stop again, and Dabi rummaging around.

"We just need to cut through this alley, and we will be at our location." Dabi told him.

"Mmph!" Shoto cried out.

"Nice try, but this area is pretty abandoned, especially at this time at night. It's about two in the morning."

Shoto let out a frustrated sigh. He heard the door open, and he weakly struggled as he was pulled out. He could not but shiver at the blast of cold air hitting him once he left the car. Without his quirks, he was forced to experience the temperature around him. He still had a higher tolerance to the cold, but the pajamas he wore was not made for the elements.

"The police should find this stolen car by the morning." Dabi told him.

Shoto rolled his eyes under his blindfold. Dabi knew he could not respond, so he did not understand why he insisted on talking to him. Shoto felt himself get shifted around, and grunted in slight pain, when he felt Dabi's shoulder digging into his stomach.

"Mnnn." Shoto whimpered.

"Sorry kid, it won't be long, so try not to get sick."

Shoto just wanted to wake up from this nightmare, but he knew this was all real.

"I need to get you to bed, its way past your bedtime."

Shoto did not respond. He had no choice, but to let Dabi carry him to wherever he was going. He was shifted, and placed against a solid wall, and heard a sound of keys being used. He also heard the door open, and shortly after he was brought inside. He was placed down gently on something soft, and he felt his blindfold being removed.

"You are probably wondering why you were kidnapped."

Shoto stared over at Dabi. From his vantage point, and how the furniture was arranged, he concluded he was on a couch. Dabi was talking to him from a seat in front of what looked like a television.

"No hard feelings, but I wanted something from you."

Shoto focused on what he was saying. Was he kidnapped by someone who hated Endeavor? Or was he being put somewhere while he father was attacked, so he couldn't help him?

"I actually need you to visit Endeavor's wife."

That floored Shoto. What did his mom have to do with Dabi? Why kidnap him from so far away to get to his mother. At the thought of his mother being in future danger. Shoto struggled as hard as he could, hoping to break the ropes holding him.

"MMPH!" He tried yelling through the gag.

Dabi would not get to his mother!

"Shit! Stop, Stop!" Dabi yelled.

Shoto did not stop, and continued to struggle. He heard Dabi scramble towards him, but he did not want Dabi near him. He tried to struggle off the couch, but he lost his balance, and before he could stop himself, he slammed his head hard against a table that was in the room. He hit the floor, and was dazed; he felt liquid start to fall from his head, as he started to pass out. Darkness took over, as Dabi ran to his side.

"Shit!" Dabi yelled.

His little brother probably had a concussion. He had hit his head really hard against the table in his struggling. Dabi touched the side of his brother's head, and came back with blood on his fingers.

"I knew you would be the challenge, but not this much of a challenge."

Dabi did not move his brother; he rushed to get a first aid kit. Also, to get another quirk suppressant. With how much of a fight his brother was putting up, it was best not to take chances. Grabbing his supplies, he went to work on his brother's head wound. The cut did not seem to be too deep, and he would have a headache, but the injury was not severe.

"You are not an easy hostage, I'll give you that." Dabi said.

He lifted his brother back on to the couch. He had planned to lay low before he executed his plan, but with his brother hurting himself, he may have to make some changes. He would hold his brother for a while day at least, but maybe no longer two. He brushed the hair from Shoto's face, and focused on the bandage that now covered his cut.

"Fuyumi and Natsuo must be freaking out. You know I really should've kidnapped them instead; they would defiantly be less trouble. I can't risk being recognized by them, though, so you were the one I chose. Better give them a call at least, to let them know you are alive."

Dabi sat back on his chair, and took out a cellphone. The cellphone had been stolen, and made untraceable. It made his actions easier to hide. He took the phone and opened up the video for it. He focused on Shoto, and recorded his little brother, and made sure to let the boy's faint breathing be heard. After recording, he sent the video to Fuyumi and Natsuo. He also left the number on purpose, so they could call back to confirm their fears.

RING

"There they are."

Dabi looked at his phone, and saw Fuyumi's number on it. He answered it, and was immediately assaulted by his younger siblings screaming at him. The voices caused Shoto to stir slightly, so Dabi left the room.

"Hey, one at a time." Dabi calmly told them.

That was the wrong thing to say, because both of them just screamed louder at him.

"Look, if you don't calm done, I will hurt your brother."

That shut them up.

"What do you want with him?" Fuyumi asked. "Who are you?"

"I am just borrowing him for a bit, because I need him for something." Dabi replied. "It doesn't matter who I am."

"Did you kidnap him to get back at our dad?" Natsuo asked. "If so, he is not like our dad, and you should let him go!"

"Like I said I needed him for something, after he serves his purpose, he will be returned to you. Besides, he is just the best option at the moment."

"What do you mean?" Fuyumi asked.

"I had thought about kidnapping you, or your brother, but your baby brother was the best target."

"LET HIM GO!" Natsuo screamed through the phone. "You can take one of us instead, just let him go!"

"You will see him soon." Dabi replied.

He hung up the phone, and it immediately began to ring again.

"Sorry guys, but I need our baby brother a bit longer."

He left the phone ringing in the other room, and checked up on Shoto. His baby brother was still out of it, and there was some bruising where he hit his head. With a tired sigh, Dabi sat down on his chair, and turned on the television. He drifted off to sleep soon after; it was the early hours of the morning.

Shoto stirred again, he really hated how many times he kept passing out and waking up. This time his head throbbed pretty badly. He could not really remember why his head hurt; just that Dabi was going to do something to hurt his mom. He was lying on his side this time, but was still unable to summon his quirks to free himself. He tested the ropes, but they refused to budge. He squirmed into a sitting position, and took in his surroundings. He was still on the couch, the television was on, and there was a coffee table that had a bloodstain on the corner, which he concluded if it came from him. He vaguely remembered falling off the couch at some point. His kidnapper, Dabi, was sleeping on the couch. He faintly heard a phone ringing in another room.

"If I can get to that, there is a chance I can get help." Shoto thought.

Shoto began to shift on the couch, but his movements caused Dabi to wake up.

"Stop moving." Dabi grumbled.

Shoto ignored him, and slid off the couch, balancing himself on his feet. That was how far he got, because Dabi was of the chair and forcing him back on the couch. He was forced onto his stomach, and Dabi held him down.

"You don't give up do you?"

Shoto ignored him. The phone he heard still rang in the other room. Dabi shifted, but did not get off of him. Shoto felt himself being moved, so he began to struggle.

"Struggle all you want, you can't do anything." Dabi informed him.

Shoto was brought into a bedroom, and placed on the bed. Dabi left for a moment, and then came back with a cloth, and a bottle. Shoto looked at it in confusion, but once Dabi put the liquid on the cloth, Shoto recognized the smell.

"I need to sleep, and you need to sleep. It is too early, and once you wake up next time, I think I am going through with my plan. I planned to keep you for two days, but I don't want you hurting yourself, so plans have changed."

Shoto could do nothing when the cloth was placed against his face, he tried not to inhale, but Dabi gave a swift punch to his stomach, which knocked the wind out of him.

"Sorry, just breathe it in, and know that once you wake up, you will be closer to freedom."

Shoto mind got fuzzy again, and despite his best efforts to stay awake, he drifted into darkness again.

After making sure his brother was completely out. Dabi left his brother sleeping on the bed, it was a reluctant sleep, but he would not have to worry about his brother hurting himself. He checked his watch, he had only had his brother in his clutches for a few hours, and was planning to keep him for two days, but he would only hold him for a few more hours.

"The plans are just a little moved up, I will see my mother sooner than two days, and Shoto will be home sooner than planned."

Dabi sat down on the chair, and fell asleep thinking about his next course of action.

Shoto slowly stirred again. This seemed to be a common occurrence for him in is captivity. This time the sound of the television woke him up. He heard his name over the television, so the news now were aware of his abduction. The light filtered in from the window, letting him know that it was sometime during the day. Testing his restraints, he sighed when they still would not budge, so he was still trapped.

"Man, those two killed my phone."

Shoto looked up, and saw Dabi checking the now silent phone.

"Your siblings must be super worried, but hopefully they won't be where we are heading."

Shoto gave him a tired glare.

"To get to where we are going, we will be in the complete open, so I have to prepare you for that. It's cold, so that will help with my plan. You will be walking, and later on the bus, and then some more walking. We will be sticking to the alleys mostly, but we so have to be out in the open too. I have plans for all that, but right now, you need to eat."

Dabi left and came back with a bowl, and shifted him into a sitting position. Dabi put the bowl down, before ungagging him. Shoto moved his jaw, before staring at him.

"You better not hurt my mother." Shoto told him.

Shoto saw Dabi grin.

"Kidnapped, tied up, and without your quirks, you still have some fight."

"I mean…"

Shoto was cut off with Dabi forcing food in his mouth. The food was cold soba. Why would his kidnapper feed him his favorite food?

"I can feed myself." Shoto told him.

"Not going to untie you." Dabi replied. "If I knew how much trouble you would be, I would've kidnapped your sister or your brother."

"What are you to us?" Shoto asked.

"Don't try to think too hard; don't want any wrinkles on your pretty face."

Shot glared at him. He felt humiliation at being fed by Dabi. However, his grumbling stomach betrayed him. This caused Dabi to grin.

"Eat up; you only have to deal with me a bit longer."

Shoto was hungrier than he thought, and soon the cold soba was all gone.

"I would give you something to drink, but once we leave I don't want to have to stop. However, I will untie you, and you will have a half hour to yourself before I tie you up for our trip."

Shoto was pulled to his feet, and led to a bathroom. The bathroom had a tiny window, so there was no way out that way. He was sat down on the tile floor, while Dabi gathered towels and washing supplies.

"You will have to get back into those clothes, but at least you will be fairly clean."

"I would rather not be here." Shoto replied.

Dabi grinned, and began to untie him. Shoto felt the ropes come off, and rubbed his wrists. He wanted to punch Dabi, but his muscles were sore from being tied up for so long.

"I'll be back soon."

Shoto heard Dabi lock the door behind him. Shoto felt the feeling return to his wrists and ankles, and winced at the pain. He was not able to stand right away, but once he was able to, he decided to take advantage of his freedom. His mind went over ways to free himself, as he used the restroom, washed his hands, and took a shower. While he was getting dressed, he heard a knock on the door.

"Don't try anything." Dabi said on the other side. "The sooner I get you prepared, the sooner you can see your family. If you don't cooperate, you will be my prisoner for two more days."

Shoto thought, and came to a conclusion. It would be smarter to cooperate, because there was no guarantee that he would be in good shape if he stayed longer in captivity. He had no access to his quirks, but he could still use his physical strength if Dabi did something to his mom. He wanted to get to her side as soon as possible, because Dabi posed a threat to her.

"I'm coming in." Dabi told him. "Sit on the floor, and put your hands behind your back, and face the door."

Shoto reluctantly did what he was told; he was only going to cooperate to protect his mother. He crossed his wrists behind him, and turned to face the wall. If he had his powers, he would have saved himself long ago.

"Smart kid, I still have my quirk, and you don't, so it was smart of you to cooperate."

Shoto did not respond. Dabi grabbed his wrists, and Shoto felt the rope being wrapped around them. By the time Dabi was done, his entire torso was restrained by rope, and he could not move his arms or wrists. Shoto stared at the wall the entire time.

"You seem mad, but that is fine." Dabi said.

"You talk too much."

"You talk too little."

Shoto felt Dabi check the rope work to make sure nothing was loose.

"Open up."

"I refuse."

"Too bad, you don't get that choice."

Dabi grabbed something that was behind him, and tried to open his mouth. Shoto kept his mouth shut. Dabi pinched his nose shut, and held a hand over his mouth. Shoto tried to hold his breath, but it was no use, he had to breathe. The moment he opened his mouth and thick white cloth was forced into his mouth. Dabi made sure his entire mouth was filled up with the cloth, and that he could not spit it out. Once that was done, Dabi tied a cloth tightly over his mouth.

"Almost done, now stop glaring."

Dabi came back with a light blue/grey scarf.

"Good thing it is cold outside, because there would be no way I could have you out in the open."

Shoto just sighed; he just wanted Dabi to let him go, so he could see his mom, Fuyumi, and Natsuo again.

Dabi brought the scarf over Shoto's mouth, and tied it as tightly as he could, before he wrapped it normally around Shoto. Shoto sighed; he would be a hostage in plain sight. Dabi was not done yet, he pulled out a long winter coat, with a big hood. Dabi put the jacket normally on him, without freeing his arms, the coat was kind of thick, but when Dabi zipped it up, it was tight. It pinned his arms even more firmly, and was snug. Dabi tucked the empty sleeves in the pockets of the coat to give the appearance of someone keeping their hands warm. Dabi took out another cloth that served as a blindfold, before pulling the hood of the jacket over his head.

"You are ready for our trip."

Shoto was helped to his feet, and led from the bathroom. The coat hindered some movement, because it was snug against his upper legs. He was led into the room where he heard the television still playing. His name was heard all over it, and his dad being interviewed. There was a shifting noise, and Shoto no longer heard the television anymore.

"You will be my hostage for about another hour, and then you are home free. Don't mind the blindfold; I just can't you figuring out where you were keeping held."

Shoto was led outside, and forced to sit down. Dabi tied his ankles together, and locked the door to his apartment. He bent down, and swung Shoto over his shoulder, and the teen was carried over his shoulder. Dabi made many turns and Shoto was convinced that most of the walking was to throw him off. Soon, Shoto was sat down.

"I am going to lay down some rules. You won't be blindfolded, and you will be able to walk, and I know the quirk suppressants are still in your system. You try anything, or bring any attention to yourself, I will kill any witnesses. Got it?"

Shoto nodded.

"Good."

Dabi took the rope from his ankles and from the sound of it, tucked the rope in his own coat. Soon, the blindfold followed, and Shoto could see. Dabi held him in an alley, but beyond the alley, Shoto saw people wearing thick coats and scarves. Shoto would be tied up and gagged right next to a huge crowd, and there was nothing he could do.

"From here, the trip should take an hour, maybe a bit longer. Just do as I say, and you will be back with your mom."

Dabi pulled him into the crowd, and Shoto had no choice, but the follow. Dabi kept an arm tightly around his waist to keep him close. It was surreal for Shoto to be pulled into a crowed area as someone's restrained hostage. As he was pulled along the crowded sidewalks, he kept looking at the news screens. His face looked back at him from all of them, there were clips of him actually getting kidnapped on security cameras, as well as his father being interviewed, and his siblings appearing on another screen, apparently pleading with whoever took him returned him.

"Hopefully your mom isn't guarded, or we are going to transport you a different way."

Shoto got distracted by him. He hoped that his quirks would return soon, so he could save himself. Dabi pulled him this way and that way. Shoto had no choice, and when he was dragged into an alley, he was cut off from everyone.

"We are taking this alley to avoid the police station. Even with these coats, I won't take any risks. Sorry about this."

Shoto did not understand what he meant, until Dabi pulled out a blindfold. Dabi pulled down the hood, and tied the blindfold on. Once done, he pulled the hood up to hide his hair.

"Next leg of the journey, you will have to be blindfolded, there are police stations, and hero owned places. If you escape, I don't want you to know where they are."

Dabi forced his head down, before grabbing his waist again. He was once again led out into a crowded area. He heard fans cheering, and what could be heroes interacting, and people bumped against him. But no one stopped to help him.

"Shoto!"

"Mmph?"

Shoto was still blindfolded, and realized that Dabi was no longer holding him. Somehow he had been swept up into the crowd and pulled away from his kidnapper. He tried to pinpoint the voice that called out to him.

"You are Shoto right?"

Shoto felt the hood being pulled off.

"What happened?"

Shoto's eyes adjusted, and he took a step back. Inasa stood before him. The wind quirk user looked at him in concern.

"Mmph." Shoto responded.

Inasa stared at him for a second.

"Are you gagged?"

Shoto nodded, but before Inasa could help him, a blast of blue flames shot between them.

"Nice try boy, but he's my hostage!"

Dabi grabbed him around his waist, and flung him over his shoulder, his cover was blown. Shoto heard what sounded like a crowd gathering, and he could see on the television screens behind him, that they were making the news. Dabi kept the blue flames going so they could not touch them, and he felt himself get shifted. Soon he found himself facing the crowds, and every camera focused on his face. Seconds later, he felt the blade of a knife pressed against his neck.

"I gave this boy quirk suppressants!" Dabi yelled. "If you don't want to be responsible for his death, you better pay close attention to what I say!"

While Dabi held him, he felt his abductor move his arm, and pull out a syringe. Shoto felt a sharp pain in his neck, and he got lightheaded. He slumped against Dabi, but did not pass out.

"What did you do to him?!" Inasa demanded.

Shoto vaguely looked at him through the wall of blue flames. Everything seemed under water, and things seemed to have slowed down. He now saw his face everywhere on the television, along with Dabi.

"You will let us through, and if you try anything, you will be responsible for his death!"

The crowd and the heroes tensed, and Shoto felt himself being lifted up. Dabi swung him over his shoulder again, and used his other hand to fire blue flames at those that came too close. Shoto saw Inasa staring in shock as he was carried away.

"Shit! Endeavor will probably get informed." Dabi growled.

He still kept everyone at bay.

"We are close to the bus that will take us to where we need to go." Dabi muttered.

Shoto focused on his voice, so he would not pass out.

"Just close your eyes." Dabi told him.

Shoto shook his head; he did not want to black out again.

"I want to board the bus without interference!" Dabi demanded.

Shoto could hear grumbling, some heroes wanted to rescue him, but he was still in Dabi's clutches. Shoto lifted his head as best he could, and saw that some heroes were heading towards the bus stop. As long as he was in Dabi's clutches, they did not want to risk his life. Dabi carried Shoto on his chosen bus, and many people already on the bus, fled out of it. The bus driver stayed where he was. Dabi turned to the gathered crowd.

"Don't try to follow, and my hostage will be released once I am at my destination."

Shoto was laid down on a set of seats, and his ankles were bound. He felt the bus move, and the sound of the gathered crowd vanished. He vaguely heard Dabi instruct the bus driver where to go, before he sat next to him. The only occupants on the hour long bus drive was the bus driver, Dabi, and himself.

"Not your fault this happened didn't have a good grip on you in that huge crowd. We are going to be on here for an hour, so let's watch the news."

Shoto looked over, and saw that Dabi had a different cell phone this time. The cellphone was playing the event that just happened live. He saw himself being drugged and threatened.

"Want to really stir them up?"

Shoto did not like the sound of that. He felt the jacket being pulled off him, and being sat up. Dabi backed up, and faced the cellphone at him. He took a picture, and Shoto was forced back into laying down. Dabi pushed a few buttons, and then sat back down.

"There is a news feed information thing, I decided to show them you tied up, Endeavor is going to freak out." Dabi said. "It should keep them occupied while we go where we are going."

Shoto sighed.

"Go to sleep, it will be awhile to get there, and you can't really do anything, but wait."

Shoto felt another prick on the back of his neck. Dabi was not giving him and option. His mind swirled at the different reasons of why he was kidnapped, and what Dabi wanted. Especially with his mom.

Dabi held the syringe he injected Shoto with. The plan was going south pretty quickly, but he was did find joy in driving Endeavor insane. He knew he could not keep drugging his baby brother, but he did enjoy spending time with him.

"Fuyumi and Natsuo are probably panicking. May as well as call them."

Dabi called Fuyumi's number; he knew both her and Natsuo's number by heart. The phone rang once, and a voice answered. The voice sounded wobbly, like the person had been crying.

"Hello?" Fuyumi asked.

"It's me."

"Please, let out brother go!" Fuyumi begged. "Or at least kidnap us instead!"

"Don't worry; your brother will be in your arms sooner than you know. His head is fine; he might have some bruising from the wound, though. I have him drugged, so he won't get motion sickness on a long trip."

"What is your deal?!" Natsuo interrupted. "Is this a game to you!?"

"No, but I am hanging up now."

"Don't!"

Dabi hung up on them. He felt guilty for doing this to them, but Shoto would be with them soon. He checked his brother, and brushed away his hair. If his brother was not such a spitfire, he would not have to be drugged, but Dabi enjoyed his time with him. Dabi continued to watch the news, pretending that Shoto was there willingly.

Shoto woke up once again; he really wanted his ordeal to be over with. Fuyumi and Natsuo would be panicking, and his dad was probably hunting them down. He looked over and saw Dabi on the phone.

"Tsk, tsk Endeavor, such language. I am just so glad a drugged your son, so he didn't have to hear such vulgar language."

Shoto saw Dabi smirk as he pulled the cellphone away from his ear.

"Temper, temper, if I had known you would get this way, I would've kidnapped your son sooner. I am actually tempted to hold him hostage longer. He is still a spitfire, so I have to keep him drugged, I made a mistake and he hit his head."

Shoto heard his dad go ballistic on the phone, he was still woozy, and so his words did not register. Dabi seemed to be having a great time riling him up. Shoto shifted, and Dabi placed a hand on his forehead.

"Hmm, not quite a fever, but you do feel clammy. Probably the combination of the suppressants and being drugged. Want to talk to your dad?"

Shoto nodded. His dad's yelling was giving him a headache, worse than what he woke up with. He watched as Dabi hung up the phone, and called video chat.

"Where is Shoto?!" Endeavor demanded once he answered.

"Right here." Dabi replied.

He pointed the phone at Shoto, and pulled off the scarf and then pulled the gags out. Shoto took a deep breath, and stared at the phone. Even though the gags were out, his dad probably still saw how tightly he was restrained.

"Dad?" Shoto asked.

"What did he do to you?"

"I don't feel good."

"You don't look that good, do you know where you are?"

"No."

Shoto saw his dad think about what he said, and he was so focused on his dad, that he failed to see Dabi grabbing the cloth that gagged him.

"We are almost at our destination, so time for your son to be prepared for his trip."

Shoto could do nothing as he was gagged again in front of his father.

"When I get my hands on you, I am going to kill you!"

"Such a temper. Bye."

Shoto had a feeling he did all that on purpose to get a rise out of his dad. Dabi gently touched his head, and Shoto looked at him. His kidnapper seemed vaguely concerned.

"We are almost there, one more long trip, and you'll be with your mother."

Shoto glared at him.

"Relax, I don't mean her any harm."

Shoto still could not understand what Dabi's plan was to meet his mother, but it left a bad taste in his mouth. The bus ride would be over within a half hour, so Shoto had no choice, but to lay there bound and gagged. When the bus got closer to their destination. Dabi put the snug coat back on him, and undid the rope around his ankles. Dabi sat him up, and Shoto could see the bus station coming into view, he also saw something else. His dad was waiting within the station, and the flames showed how angry he was.

"Shit, that will be a problem." Dabi said. "Hey! Drop us off right here!"

Shoto saw the bus driver hesitate, but then look over at him. He stopped the bus, and Shoto was dragged out. He heard Dabi tell the bus driver to continue, before he was dragged down an alley. It would not take long for his dad to figure out what happened, so it would be a matter of time before he chased after them.

"STOP PLAYING AROUND!" A voice bellowed. "GIVE ME BACK MY SON!"

Shoto was being down further in an alley, while his dad stormed down the street. Dabi suddenly stopped, and his dad walked close to the alley they were in. He stopped, and Shoto knew that if his dad just turned down it, he would be rescued, but at the last second he chose a different path. He looked up and saw Dabi taking a short video.

"So close, going to wait a bit to post this."

"Mmph…"

Shoto did not know why Dabi had a death wish, and he did not care, he just wanted to go home. They walked a bit, and Shoto soon saw the hospital his mom was in. Shoto had the hood pulled over his hair, before being dragged to the hospital. He rolled his eyes when Dabi posted the short video of them in the alley, and how close Endeavor came to them.

"Do as I say, and don't bring attention to yourself."

Shoto nodded.

"Now lead me to where you go to sign in to visit your mother."

Shoto reluctantly did as he was told. He would do nothing, and the scarf was once again added over his mouth, along with the jacket. He could not call out, and his quirks were still not working. On top of that, he was starting to feel ill.

"You better not be trying to fool me."

Shoto could say nothing, and he did not want to do anything that risked anyone's safety. He made it to the desk where a nurse sat. The nurse did not recognize him with all the stuff on him, and she had no idea who Dabi was.

"May I help you?" She asked kindly.

"We are here to see Todoroki Rei."

Shoto jumped at that. How did Dabi know his mother's name? He did not have time to dwell on it, because the nurse was eyeing them both with suspicion. She seemed like she was tempted to alert the guards.

"I would not do that." Dabi warned.

The second time that day, Shoto felt a cold blade on his neck. While holding the knife against his neck, Dabi removed his hood, and then the scarf. The color drained from the nurse's face.

"You are the one that kidnapped young Todoroki." The nurse stated in shock.

"Yeah, and if you want him to stay safe, you will let us get to our destination, and not call the cops."

"Of course, r-right this way."

The nurse was shaking as led them to their destination. Shoto was being kept at knife point. He was feeling tired again, which made him slightly angry, because he spent more time in a drugged sleep than being awake. However, he could not help slightly leaning into Dabi for support, otherwise he would fall.

"H-here we are." The nurse told them.

"Good, remember no cops."

Dabi pulled Shoto into the room. Shoto wanted to go to his mother, and protect her, but Dabi had a firm grip on him. Shoto could do nothing while his mother approached them.

"Shoto?"

"MMPHH!"

Shoto wanted his mother to stay back, but when she heard his muffled cry, she became concerned. She tried walking towards them again; Shoto began to shake his head, which the knife still pressed against his neck posed a threat. Her eyes widened when she saw the knife against his neck, and she hesitated. Shoto felt the room get colder.

"R-release him now." Shoto heard her whisper.

Dabi did not let him go; he seemed in shock to see her.

"Let him go!"

Shoto never heard his mother yell, and it seemed that Dabi snapped out of his trance. Shoto was not feeling good, and even though he had not been drugged recently, he felt like he could pass out. His mom seemed to catch on.

"Lay him down on my bed, and release him." He heard his mother say. "Then tell me who you are."

Shoto felt Dabi pull him towards his bed. He was losing his battle again with staying awake. His head started throbbing anew, and he felt sick. Once he was on his mom's bed, Dabi took out the gags, and cut the ropes. He moved his hands forwards, glad that he got his freedom again. Dabi grabbed the cut ropes, and gags, and threw them in the trash. He felt something cold touch his head, and looked to see his mom dabbing his head with a wet cloth.

"Close your eyes Shoto."

"I can't"

"I will be fine, just close your eyes."

Shoto tried to fight it, but eventually he fell asleep once more.

Dabi watched as his mom lulled Shoto into sleep. He did not look good, and the bruise on his head looked even worse than before. Guilt settled in his chest, because even though it had not been a full day, he put his brother through hell. All just to see his mother, who was currently glaring at him.

"Who are you?"

Dabi pulled off his coat, and placed it to the side. His mom studied him, she was concerned about his appearance, but the glare did not leave her face. Nor did she leave Shoto's side. When she saw his eyes, she recoiled in surprise.

"Touya?"

"It's me." Dabi replied.

"I thought you were dead."

"I'm still here. I missed you."

"I am so glad to see you."

His mother hugged him, and then turned to Shoto.

"Does Shoto know who you are?"

"No."

"Is that why he was tied up like that?"

Dabi gulped, he was happy to see his mother, but he had to own up to what he did.

'I kind of kidnapped him…"

His mom did not respond right away, but Dabi felt the room drop a few degrees.

"You what?"

He really did love his mom, and he was a villain now, but the glare she sent him made him quake in fear.

"Let me explain…"

Dabi told her everything, except he brushed over being an actual villain. He blurted out that he planned to hold Shoto longer than he did, but Shoto risked hurting himself, because he did not understand the reason of his kidnapping. He felt himself confessing to everything. When he was done, he saw his mom eyeing him with cold fury.

"So, you risked your brother's health just to see me. You abducted him without explaining anything, and caused your other siblings to worry. No, I forgot, you were thinking about kidnapping one of them. Now, tell me, what were you thinking?"

"I wanted to see you, and I thought it would be a good idea."

Almost an hour later, Dabi left the hospital. His ears were ringing from the lecture his mom gave him. She really let him have it, and the entire time, Shoto did not stir. Most of the hour he spent in there had been a lecture, but he remembered what she had said afterwards.

"I want to see you more, but DON'T EVER think about putting any of your siblings through something like that again!"

She did not mention Endeavor, but he did not remind her. He slipped into an alley, and called the cops himself. The heroes would come shortly after, but he no longer cared. He would be long gone, and Shoto needed to be checked over. With a final glance at his mom's hospital, he left the area.

Shoto woke up in a white room. He was not in his mom's room anymore. His arms were bandaged, and so were his ankles. A new bandage replaced the old one on his head, and he felt some band aids on either side of his mouth. He was still disoriented, but he was no longer in the clutches of his kidnappers.

"Shoto!"

Shoto did not express it, but he had been startled. Fuyumi and Natsuo had burst into the room. Fuyumi had been crying, and Natsuo looked stressed. The both hugged him at the same time.

"I was so worried." Fuyumi told him. "Your kidnapper kept calling us, and it was horrible."

"Sorry for getting kidnapped." Shoto replied.

"Hey, don't be sorry, kidnappers don't really give you a choice." Natsuo told him.

"Why and I in the hospital?"

"That bastard gave you too many quirk suppressants in a short amount of time, and you reacted badly to that. Plus, being drugged, and having a head wound didn't help." Endeavor told him.

"I tried to escape, and hit my head."

"Yeah, your kidnapper said you gave him a hard time." Natsuo said.

"He enjoyed taunting dad too." Fuyumi told him.

"Yes, we were really close to him at one point," Shoto said.

"I saw that video, I am going to murder that asshole with my bare hands." Enji snarled. "I am Endeavor the number one hero, and I will hunt that piece of shit down!"

"You may want to calm down; you may reopen that scar on your face." Fuyumi told him.

The door opened, and a police officer came in. Fuyumi and Natsuo had to leave, but Shoto's dad stayed. For almost an hour, he was questioned, and eventually they left so he could sleep.

Shoto ended up having to stay in the hospital for about a week to fully recover. His classmates came and went, and Iida made sure that he would be caught up on his homework. His story was still broadcast, but it was mostly about his mysterious kidnapper, and his motives. Especially since the story of how he was actually found was fabricated by his dad. The official, and hidden reports, mention that he was found in his mom's room. However, the report that got to the actual news was that his dad tracked down the kidnapper, and rescued him. With how out of it he was when he was rescued, no one would believe his report either.

Once he got out, he would be guarded, and would have to report to his teachers, as well as be escorted to and from campus. If he was not with any teachers, his father would be his guard. It would hinder his hero work, but Shoto was kidnapped, so the adults were not taking any chances. He was interrupted by a beep from a text from an unknown number.

Glad you are safe. Take care of yourself, and say 'hi' to mom for me.

Shoto pocketed the phone; Natsuo was probably lost his phone again. He gathered his things, and headed into the school. He never noticed a figure watching him, to make sure he made it safely inside. Shoto was bombarded with questions about his kidnapping, and he explained it as best he could, people were happy he was safe, and back at school. The figure watched him, and finally left once, he was safe. Shoto Todoroki was safe, and that was all that mattered now.

THE END
