I don't own Loud House, the show belongs to Chris Savino and Nickelodeon.
Story inspired by Sid and Marty Krotts Land of the Lost TV series.
It was suppose to be a nice family fishing trip, they were just suppose to have a nice time together as a family, but now they were in a boat that is moving against the current of Lake Eddy. Lynn Sr. should've known better then to buy a boat from Flip because the motor was filled with junk, the oars were painted on the wall, and there was literally nothing in the cabinets for them to use.
Lynn was currently looking through a box for something to use when he felt someone pulling on his pant leg, he look down to see Lilly wavering her arm around franticly and a panic expression on her face.
"Birlpool! Birlpool!"
Lynn smiled down to his daughter, "Aw! That's cute honey, but we can't use your pacifier to stir the-" He glances up for a moment and catches sight of something that made his skin crawl. "AH WHIRLPOOL!"
Yes indeed the boat was heading straight towards a massive whirlpool and they couldn't do anything to stop it, the family eyes widen in fear as they watch the swirly water get ever so closer.
"WHAT DO WE DO!" Lori panicked.
"Everyone hold on to something and don't let go!" Rita instructed as she went into the bridge of the boat and grabbed the wheel.
The boat gets caught in the current and spins around the whirlpool, the Louds grabbed whatever they could and held on tight as the boat went faster as it went closer to the center, wind blows their hair and water sprays onto them, it honestly felt like a giant ride at the water park. The boat reaches the center the front of it points down and goes into it, the Louds screamed even louder from the high speed the boat was going through, they could also hear some parts of the boat break apart.
"If me or my family survive this I'm going to kill Flip!" Lynn thought, he then opened his eyes and through the swirling water tunnel he spotted some yellow swirly thing.
"What is that?"
The boat heads straight for the yellow vortex, the next thing Lynn knew his vision was filled with yellow as the boat went right through the vortex then everything went black.
Rita slowly opened her eyes as conciseness return to her, through her view she could see nothing but clear blue sky. She lets out a low moan, her body ached, her skin felt warm from the heat of the sun, and she just didn't feel like getting up. Rita turns her head to left and sees that she somehow got to the deck, out in the distance she heard animal noises. Rita slowly gets to her knees and crawled to the side, she looks out to see nothing but a dense jungle with tall trees and strange plants, looking around the boat it was just the same with no large body of water in sight.
"Ugh, is everyone okay?" Rita heard her husband's voice behind her. She looks back to see her kids and husband get up as her kids groaned yes and that they were all right, when they were up they looked around their surroundings all of them had the looks of confusion. Lincoln is first to speak up, "Where are we?"
"We seem to be in some kind of tropical forest, hmm I knew the climate in Lake Eddy matches tropical conditions but I didn't expect this." Lisa answered as she scratched her chin while she looked around.
"I don't think we're in Lake Eddy anymore dudes." Luna exclaimed.
"Why do you say that older sibling?" Lisa asked.
"Because I don't see the lake."
Lisa takes another look around and what Luna said was indeed true, there is no large body of water in sight and that is pretty strange as the boat needed to be nearby water as boats don't just get stranded in the middle of some jungle. Lori in the mean time takes out her phone to call someone but there is no signal much to her dismay.
"Guys I got no signal!" She huffed.
Rita and Lynn Sr. take out their phones and theirs to also had no signals. "Ours are down to." Rita stated.
"Great were stranded in some jungle with no phones, no electricity, and no TV! Were doomed!" Lola complained.
"Now come on guys, I knows things look bad but we will find a way out of here."
"But what are we going to do dad?" Leni asked.
"Yeah we don't know when help is going to arrive." Lori added.
"We are just going to have to live off the land for awhile, and I'm sure we can do it as we Louds never quit." Lynn Sr. said.
"Well I suppose we have no choice considering the circumstances. Now in order for us to survive here we are going to need three things: shelter, food, and fresh water." Lisa instructed.
"This boat could be our shelter." Lincoln said.
Lisa brushes her hand against the boat's edge, "Yes this boat could provide shelter for us, but only temporary as it would be useless against predators that would come by." Lisa stated.
"Lisa right we need to have a more secure shelter like up a tree or in a cave." Lana added.
"Okay so we find a tree or cave, but we also need to gather some food and find a fresh water source." Lynn Sr. stated, "So what do we do first?" Leni asked.
"I think we should split up and find some food while the other group goes and find a fresh water source."
"So who should go where?" Lincoln asked.
"Uh okay, me, Lisa, Lana, Lynn, Luan, and Leni will get the food. While Rita, Lilly, Lola, Lucy, Luna, Lori, and Lincoln go find a source of water."
"Right!"
The two groups went in different directions with Lynn's group going left and Rita's group going right. Lynn's group walked through a short batch of jungle then got into a small clearing with small trees around the area.
"Okay family units what we need to do is find some sutiable food to sub stained ourselves, mainly fruit, eggs, meat, and."
"Carrots." Leni called out.
"Yes carrots I suppose." Lisa turns to face Leni and her face concreted into shock, "Mother of science!" The others look over and like Lisa their faces also concreted into shock; growing in the ground were giant carrots.
"Whoa look at the size of these carrots!" Lana exclaimed as she rubbed the top of the carrots.
"You think a giant rabbit eats these?" Leni asked while she looked more closely to the carrots. "Well that would be a hopping idea." Luan joked.
Lynn Sr. fascinated by the giant vegetables gets on his knees to get a closer look at them, he gently places his hand on the carrot and rubbed it slowly.
"Oh these would safe me several trips to the farmer's market."
"Why are the carrots so big Lisa?" Leni asked.
Lisa studies the carrots in great examination, "I think it has something to do with the soil that makes these daucus carota to grow more larger than average, of course that's what I think. Other than that these carrots will definitely fill us for the day, but of course we need to get them out first."
"Leave that to me." Lynn proudly stated, she walks up to one of the carrots, she bends down, grabs the stem and with a grunt huff, she pulls the large carrot out of the ground and over her head.
"Bootya! One carrot collected."
"And a few more to go LJ."
She gives her father a thumbs up, she sets the carrot down, then goes down to pick another one when an animal called out from the jungle. The Louds jumped and looked in the direction of the animal call, small trees moves wildly.
"Quick behind that rock!" Lynn Sr. instructed. The Louds ducked behind the rock, they hear the animal coming out of the jungle, they peer out from the rock to see a gallimimus walk into the clearing and stops, the gallimimus looks around then leans her neck down and eats a peice of fern.
"Is that a." Lana started.
"No it can't be." Lynn Sr. added.
"But it is." Luan also added.
"It's a giant lizard." Leni piped up.
"No Leni it's a dinosaur, mostly known as a gallimimus, though I can't believe my eyes for actually seeing one alive in the flesh, this is an exciting chance to study one." Lisa said.
The gallimimus eats another fern, she looks around as she chews on the fern, she shallows it then sniff the air before looking down at the carrot that Lynn picked out, she sniffs the carrot then takes a bite out of it.
"Hey its eatting our carrot!" Lynn rushes out from the rock, she waves her arms around frantically as she yelled, "HEY THAT'S OUR CARROT! GET OUT OF HERE!"
The gallimimus looks down at her in curiosity, she leans her head down and tilts it. Lynn screams some more the gallimimus let's out a roar in response, the gallimimus gives her another roar before she lifted her head up, turned around sniffed the air, then rushes away.
"Well that got rid of it, now lets get some more carrots." Lynn goes over to pickup another carrot, the rest of her family came out from behind the rock.
"I can't believe I saw a real dinosaur." Lisa exclaimed.
"So this place has dinosaurs, that's awesome! I need to get one as a pet."
"Now Lana you can't have a dinosaur for a pet."
"Why not dad?"
"They get to big."
"Actually father, some dinosaurs were small as chickens." Lisa interjected
"We still can't have one as a pet."
"Come on dad."
"Sorry Lana but my mind is made up."
Lana looks down in sadness, Lynn picks out another carrot meanwhile Luan looked around the jungle in wonder. "What is this place?" She asked herself.
Lynn goes to pick out another carrot when a loud roar spooked her, she along with the others looked in the direction that the roar came from. A Tyrannosaurus Rex roared from behind a large bush that covered his left foot, he looks around before he spotted the Louds he charges towards the Louds roaring loudly, he stops and let's out another roar.
"RUN FOR IT GIRLS!" Lynn Sr. screamed, the rest of them scream and scattered with Lynn carrying a carrot under her arm; the Tyrannosaurus let's out a mighty roar then chase's after them.
Rita's group walked through the thick jungle, the Loud kids looked around as animals called in the background, above them the sun got higher making the air warmer. They start to sweat under the heat.
"Oh I'm literally dying of thirst."
"And my feet are killing me with all this walking." Lola complain.
"Yeah walking in heels on this terrain definitely isn't comfortable little dudette." Luna said with sympathy for her younger sibling.
"Don't worry kids once we find a water source, will have a nice rest."
"You think will find some water soon mom?"
"I hope so Lincoln."
They walked through more jungle, they brush pass many ferns and low bearing branches along with fighting from the warmth of the sun. Eventually they came upon a small clearing and in the middle of the clearing is a weird pyramid shape, golden colored thing, that was admitting some weird noise. The Louds looked at it in complexity, the pyramid thing was the strangest thing they had ever seen in their lives, it looked like some sort of machine but also a structure at the same time.
"What is that?" Lori said.
"Looks like a pyramid." Lucy replied.
"Should we get a closer look?" Lincoln asked.
"I'll go check it out, you guys stay here it could be dangerous."
Rita steps out of the fern they were standing behind, she cautiously approaches the weird pyramid-shaped structure, she gets next to it and looks at it very closely Rita then lifted up her arm very slowly and touched it. The thing felt very weird it was cold, but smooth, so smooth that although she was touching it, it felt like nothing, it felt like touching nothing at all.
"This feels so weird, who built this thing?" Rita thought.
"Are you okay mom?" She heard Lori called out to her.
"I'm fine honey, this thing just feels weird."
"What do you mean?"
"I can't describe it Lori, but whoever built this thing must have been really intelligent." Her kids join her and they to rubbed their hands on the smooth surface of the pyramid structure. Luna looks up and notices a smaller pyramid attached to it.
In curiosity Luna reached up and gripped it, with a twist she turns the smaller pyramid left; a loud noise admits from the pyramid structure causing them to back away from it.
"What did you do Luna?" Lori asked.
"I just turn the little pyramid thing."
The pyramid makes a loud sound, then it open up in a diamond shape doorway. "I think you just opened it Luna." Lincoln commented.
Slowly they approached the diamond shape doorway, peering in they see some sort of table with crystals in it.
"Oh look at all those pretty crystals in there." Lola stated, she enters and stood next to the table where she went to take one when Lucy suddenly grabbed her hand.
"Lola I wouldn't do that if I were you."
"What's the big deal, it's just a bunch of crystals."
"They seem important to this structure, I think you should leave them alone."
"Oh what's going to happen lighting going to flash in the sky." Lola touches a red crystals, lighting suddenly flashed in the sky and thunder boomed. Lola, Lucy, and the others jumped in fright, Lola looked out in surprise then back to the table.
"Did I do that?" Lola touched the red crystal again making the sky flash out lighting.
"Whoa, I think this thing can control the weather." Lori said in amazement.
"But that's impossible, nothing can control the weather." Rita cried out.
"Looks like this thing can mom." Lori replied.
Rita at loss for words looked at the pyramid structure in amazement that this thing, this thing right here can control the weather, something that was straight up impossible but yet whoever built this thing had manage to do it.
Rita finally found her voice and said, "Lola, Lucy you should get out of there."
"But mom!"
"No buts Lola, if this thing can control the weather then I don't want any of you to mess with it."
Lola lets out a frustrated sigh and exits the pyramid along with Lucy, with the both of them out Rita turns the smaller pyramid back closing the bigger pyramid. With that done Rita ushers the kids away from it.
Now several feet away from the pyramid structure Rita's group continued to search for some water, of course they were still thinking about it and how it could control the weather; whoever built that thing must've been really intelligent in order to find a way to control the weather, if their were beings able to build it then are they still here?
They all then heard a low roar up ahead as well as splashing, and splashing only meant one thing: water!
Excited the group ran to a large fern bush, Lori and Luna pushes the leaves aside allowing them and the others to look out to a clearing, and what they saw surprise them. In the clearing is a heard of iguanodon near the watering hole, some were feasting on the vegetation while others drank the water, inside the water two alamosaurus were enjoying the cool of the water while feasting on the nearby trees.
Lilly pointed to the animals with a smile. "Dinos! Dinos!"
"Am I literally seeing, what I think I'm seeing!" Lori exclaimed.
"No we must be hallucinating because surly we can't be seeing actual dinosaurs." Lincoln stated.
Lola covered her nose in disgust. "No those are real alright."
"But aren't these dudes suppose to be extinct?" Luna exclaimed in clear confusion.
"I guess not in this land." Lori replied.
"First that pyramid thing that controls the weather, now actual living breathing dinosaurs." Rita looks around in wonder. "What is this place?"
"So do we get the water or not?" Lori asked.
Rita looked at the water then to the heard of dinosaurs near it, they may be herbivores but they could be dangerous if they get to close, but they also needed that water badly and they could get it if they are really careful.
"Yeah let's gets some, but be careful kids we don't want them to attack."
The group slowly entered the clearing some of the iguanodons look over at them for a second before going back to grazing, the group get to the waters edge Rita takes out a bottle and uses it to collect the water, her kids however were watching the two gigantic sauropods in the water eating the leaves one of them lets out a roar that sounded almost like a whale; a couple pterosaurs flew above them.
"This is actually nice looking." Lola exclaimed.
"Tell me about it little dudette, I'm getting a Jurassic Park vibe here." Luna said gently.
Lincoln then thought of something when Luna said that. "Wait shouldn't we be concerned about carnivorous dinosaurs."
They all went stiff after hearing what Lincoln said. "Oh my gosh Lincoln's right, the carnivores are going to be terrifyingly." Lori said.
"I hope dad and the others are alright." Lola adds.
"I'm sure their fine dudes." Luna stated.
Lynn's group ran through the jungle, behind them the Tyrannosaurus is still after them roaring loudly as he crashes through the trees. "COME ON KIDS FASTER!" Lynn Sr. yelled as he pushes past a bush. Leni suddenly tripped and fell hard she looked up letting out a scream as the T. Rex stood above her roaring loudly, he leans down with his mouth open, Leni cowered waiting to be eaten.
Lana while carrying a branch suddenly ran in front of her, "EAT THIS LIZARD BREATH!" She shoves the branch into the dinosaur's mouth, as he leaned up to spit it out Lana helped her sister to her feet then ran to catch up with the others.
"Thanks Lana you saved my life."
"No problem Leni, now run faster or your going to become T. Rex chow!" They run faster, behind them the Tyrannosaurus continues to pursue them letting out a roar.
The group turn left by a tree, only to see an Ankylosaurus eating on a bush in front of them, they didn't stop however instead they run past it from behind, the Ankylosaurus looked behind her in surprise swinging her massive club tail that nearly hit Lynn in the chest if she didn't move out of the way in time.
The Tyrannosaurus comes into view, upon seeing the predator she immediately gets into defensive mode, letting out threatening roars the armored tank moves the back end of her body to the side while thrashing her tail back and forth rapidly. The Tyrannosaurus stood there watching the Ankylosaurus wondering what to do, the Ankylosaurus moves her rear towards him he lets out a roar of frustration, however not wanting to risk injury the mighty Tyrannosaurus walks away in the other direction to look for an easier meal.
With the threat gone the Ankylosaurus calms down and returns to feast on the bush.
Miles away Lynn's group stopped by a large tree to catch their breaths, Lynn looked behind him to make sure that the T. Rex isn't still behind them, seeing nothing he lets out a sigh of relief as he got on his bottom while leaning against the tree.
"I think we lost him girls."
"Man that was both terrifying and awesome!" Lana exclaimed with a smile.
Lynn looked at her sister in disbelief, "Awesome? What was so awesome about being chased by a frickin T. Rex?"
"That's what's awesome about it, I mean how many people do you know gets chase by a T. Rex."
"Those who don't want to be eaten." Luan replied in a serious tone.
"Indeed being chased by the Cretaceous last largest carnivore is not my idea of a good time." Lisa added.
Lana waves them off, "Aw you guys just don't know what is awesome."
Lynn gets back to his feet. "Alright girls calm down, we should get this carrot back to the boat before some other dinosaur decides were a good meal." Lynn's group began their trek towards the boat while Lynn with the help of Luan carry the carrot.
