Spazzman29 : I have been thinking about doing a Harry/Susan story for a while, but I probably won't get to that for ages as I have other stories planned.

Nick : Thanks.

Druto : Good.

Chapter 43 -

When Harry arrived back in Hogwarts he was greeted with the all too familiar feeling of everyone staring at him, because fighting death eaters and the most feared dark lord in a century plus his heir can make a person interesting, believe it or not. At this current point in time most of Harry's year would be in classes, Harry figured it was better to just go to his dorm for now as the classes would be over in twenty minutes or so.

Harry had only taken three steps into the room when a trio of blurs rushed forward and pulled him into a tight hug, Harry blinked at the three chasers who continued hugging him for several moments before letting him go. Harry was about to say something when Katie and Alicia punched him on his arms, Katie had gotten the left one while Alicia got the right, Angelina then slapped him hard on the back of his head.

"Ow." Harry said dryly, as he rubbed the back of his head. "Now may I please know why I am being hurt by three clearly crazed chaser?"

"Oh shut up," Angelina rolled her eyes. "what the hell were you thinking?!"

"Well recently it was 'why am I being hurt by three clearly crazed chasers?'." Harry replied.

"She means 'what were you thinking when you decided to go to the ministry on your own and fight off death eaters?!'" Alicia said, her lips tried to curl upwards at Harry's joke but she refused to let them.

"Not to mention you-know-who," Katie added. "it was all over the daily prophet. It's saying that you fought off you-know-who and a guy who was his heir plus you killed a ton of death eaters! I second the what were you thinking?!"

"Well at the start it was something like 'gotta go to the ministry', during the fight it was mostly something along the lines of 'die motherfucker, die motherfucker die' and after I was mentally calling Dumbledore a dumbass." Harry responded.

"You could have been hurt Harry." Katie frowned.

"I was hurt, but funnily enough it was more Dumbledore's fault than the death eaters."

"The prophet mentioned something about Dumbledore pushing you into a curse," Angelina replied. "please tell me that wasn't true."

"Now I could do that, or I could be honest, which would you prefer?" Harry responded. The three beautiful Gryffindor chasers exchanged looks before they all grabbed Harry and guided him down to the nearest seat and gave him a look that clearly said 'tell us everything unless you want us to strangle you'. As Harry told them what happened he couldn't help but internally smile at the three for showing him once again that they cared.

The first class that Harry had to enter when he got back was charms class, he wasn't sure if the people in his year had heard he was back yet, but he decided to just act as if nothing had happened. He quietly entered the class and saw Tracy and Daphne sat at the back of the classroom, the only empty spot in the class was on Tracy's right so Harry walked over and saw down on it. Tracy and Daphne turned to him and blinked in surprise, though Harry pretended not to notice as he had quickly began getting his books out. He turned to the two wide eyed girls after a minute or so.

"Is there something on my face?" Harry asked innocently. A second later Tracy had pulled him into a hug, Harry looked a bit surprised and felt like Daphne was probably stopping herself from getting out of her seat and doing the same thing. A few seconds later Tracy let go and blushed slightly, Harry was about to respond when he felt a ton of eyes on him, he looked around and saw everyone in the class including Professor Flitwick was looking at him. "What?" Harry asked, feigning ignorance.

The majority of the Slytherin's looked like they had just sucked a particularly bad lemon, Malfoy looked kind of like Snape, in that he looked constipated and angry beyond words that he was constipated. A slight hint of fear could be seen in a few of them though as they recognized that Harry was able to not only kill many death eater but also fight off you-know-who and his heir. Add to that to his already impressive list of accomplishments and Harry's reputation was starting to build up.

It was a very different situation with the Gryffindors, for example three of Harry's roommates were glad he was back and happy that he survived, plus they were also very disappointed that Harry was not the one teaching the DA. Because Cedric Diggory was definitely a great wizard, but he was no Harry Potter, nor had he done as many things as Harry had. The girls looked at him with surprised eyes that held a hint of desire, more so in some than others. Ron and Hermione on the other hand looked smug, very smug.

"Mr Potter..." Professor Flitwick said, looking beyond happy. "I am glad beyond words that you are back! When did you get here?"

"A short while ago Professor Flitwick," Harry answered. "I had spent last night at my Godfather's' home and arrived about partway into first period. But by the time first period was nearly over so I just headed to the Gryffindor common room before coming here."

"You are perfectly alright, aren't you Mr Potter?" Professor Flitwick asked.

"I'm doing great." Harry smiled.

"Wonderful," Professor Flitwick beamed. "now I..."

"So are you still going to say that you-know-who is not back?" Ron interrupted as he spoke loudly, he and Hermione grinned at Harry, Harry realized now why Ron and Hermione looked so happy, they were just glad that they were proven right.

"I am not really sure what you mean." Harry said with fake confusion, though it was convincing enough for the class to believe.

"Don't lie, you said that you-know-who was not back." Hermione said.

"I don't recall saying that." Harry frowned in deep thought. "I've never publicly stated that you-know-who was back, nor have I ever publicly stated that he was not." Harry added with a small shrug.

"If you thought he was back then you would have told everyone." Ron argued.

"Undoubtedly." Harry agreed with a small nod, surprising the red head. "If, I repeat, If I believed he was back then I would have told everyone. Like I told the Minister and Dumbledore, last year in the graveyard I had only saw Peter Pettigrew."

"The headmaster had told you that you-know-who was back." Hermione said.

"Yes, but the headmaster also dresses in ridiculous robes, placed me with abusive muggles, failed to stop me from being put in the Triwizard tournament and attacked me with a wandless spell in the middle of a fight between him, myself and Voldemort..." Harry paused to allow the people their time to shiver, he barely stopped himself from eyerolling. "and his heir." Harry continued. "Forgive me if I was not willing to tell false truths to the public and Minister of Magic on the word of a school headmaster." Hermione realized that Harry had a point there, so she decided to try a different approach.

"What about Quirrell?" She asked.

"What about him?" Harry raised an eyebrow.

"He was possessed by Voldemort," Hermione smirked. "that means that you knew he was alive ever since first year."

"Hmm, yeah but...no." Harry shook his head. "That wasn't Voldemort." Harry lied, he would later look back on this with a pensive and admire his skills at deceit.

"What do you mean that wasn't Voldemort?!" Ron said as he and Hermione looked at him as if he had just grown two more heads and declared himself to be Professor Snape's biological sister.

"Quite simply that he was not there, nor was he possessing Quirrell." Harry shrugged.

"What do you mean?" Dean Thomas, one of Harry's Gryffindor roommates, asked.

"Well as far as I am aware everyone in the school was told that at the end of my first year I tried to stop Professor Quirrell from stealing a priceless artifact and ended up in the hospital wing, am I right?" Harry asked and several people nodded. "Well that is true, but when I fought off Quirrell he was possessed by somebody else. The person claimed to be Voldemort," Harry revealed, not even pausing to allow people to flinch. "and at the time I had truly thought it was Voldemort but I then did some research and found out that many people have claimed to be Voldemort throughout the years since his supposed demise. I also checked if it's possible for dead people to possess other people and it turns out that dead people cannot posses wizards and witches because they have so little magic compared to living people. Plus if it really was then the headmaster would have told people instead of keeping it secret." Harry added, he saw people were thinking hard on his words.

"Well what about second year?!" Ron demanded. "that diary had possessed..."

"That young girl," Harry cut him off before he could reveal exactly who the diary had possessed, while it was known that Harry had saved someone in second year it was not known beyond a few people that that person was Ginny. Ron realized what Harry had just done and for a second looked grateful. "Well if you look at your wording then you would remember that the 'diary' possessed a young girl, and that the diary claimed to belong to a young Tom Riddle Junior which happened to be the name that Voldemort had while at school." Harry said, knowing that many would hear about this and end up trying to look up the name. "Voldemort is famous for his knowledge of the dark arts, it was not beyond possible for him to make something that can possess a person. But finding his evil diary is about as much proof of him being back as finding his old teddy bear." Harry said before turning back to Professor Flitwick. "Now Professor Flitwick, may we please continue with the lesson?"

"Uh...yes, yes of course, so long as there are no more interruptions." Professor Flitwick said as he gave everyone in the class a warning look, though for some reason or the other his gaze stayed on Hermione and Ron longer than the others.

"Nicely played." Tracy whispered to him.

"I may be a Gryffindor but I am the most Slytherin Gryffindor you'll find." Harry grinned as he whispered back to her.

"So Potter," Daphne said as they exited charms class and began walking towards their next class. "you do realize that me and Tracy will have some questions for you?" She said, raising a perfect eyebrow at him.

"I imagined as much." Harry nodded. "I'll tell you guys tomorrow."

"Fine," Tracy said. "but you had better..."

"Harry!" A voice cried as a blonde blur ran into him and pulled him into a strong hug.

"Hey Tori," Harry chuckled as he hugged her back. "how are you doing?"

"Stupid idiot," Astoria mumbled. "what the hell were you thinking?"

"Gryffindor, I don't have to think." Harry smirked as he rubbed circles on her back.

"Do you have a lesson now?" Astoria asked as she looked up at him with teary eyes, she looked incredibly adorable and at that moment she likely could have asked Harry to murder someone and he would have done so.

"I got a free period." Harry replied.

"Good!" Astoria smiled brightly before grabbing a hand and pulling him along with her. "You can come and sit with me, Scott and Jean." She grinned.

"Great," Daphne rolled her eyes when the two left. "my sister's stolen my friend."

"Hello Dolores," Harry said with a small smile as he walked up to Dolores Umbridge who was still in her chair, well...it was Harry's chair but she was the one sitting on it. She was covered in dry blood and bruises, a few parts of her body looked broken and she no longer had hair on the top of her head. She had also been wearing the same clothes ever since Harry had brought her, it was only Kreatcher who prevented any smell from reaching Harry's nose, Harry preferred not to think about what it would be like if the spell was removed. "how are we?" Harry asked cheerfully, Umbridge did not answer, she instead looked down on the ground.

"Master," Kreatcher, who was standing nearby, said as he gave a short bow. "she's not be speaking, only scream when pain."

"Ah, the mouth moves but Miss Brain has long since departed," Harry said in an understanding voice. "though I suppose that that is nothing new in Madam Umbridge's case. Umbridge," Harry called in a soft voice, she didn't respond, Harry called once more but he still did not respond. "Don't you fucking ignore me." Harry said as he hit her face with a stinging hex, she flinched and looked up at him with fearful eyes. "Ah, that's better. Hello Madam, how are we?"

"P...Potter..." She gasped out.

"That I am." Harry grinned. "Now, what is your opinion of me and my family?" Harry asked suddenly.

"Y...you...a...a wonderful family..." Umbridge stuttered out. "I...the best."

"Good enough I suppose," Harry said, his smile leaving his face. "do you want me to stop the pain? I can take you out of this chamber, you'll never have to worry about being hurt by me and my elf again, I'll tell someone about what I did to you, then I will suffer the consequences. Is that what you want?" He asked. Umbridge didn't verbally respond but she did nod. "Great, then I need you to sign some things for me." Harry said as he pulled out several documents, he waved his wand and created a small table to place them on. "Sign these and you can go." Harry said as he released one of her hands by waving his wand.

"B...but..."

"But what butt face?"

"I...I don't have a quill..." She said quietly.

"Ah, how silly of me." Harry said as he pulled out a quill and levitated it into her hand, he didn't want to get closer to her than necessary. Partly for his own safety, but also because she was still unpleasant.

"You...you haven't given me any ink." She coughed violently, Harry calmly waited until she stopped.

"You won't need any." Harry said, his eyes cold. "Sign the papers Dolores, and do it before I lose my patience." Umbridge gulped, which looked like it hurt her, and quickly got to signing. She hissed in pain several times as she realized that what she was using was her own blood quill. After a few documents were signed Harry replaced the documents with a few blank pieces of parchment. "I want you to write 'evil bitch' on these papers, do it until I say stop."

"But..but I..."

"Now!" Harry roared and Umbridge quickly began writing down what Harry had told her to, minutes later Umbridge was suffering greatly from blood loss. Harry waved his wand and got rid of the table and parchment. "Alright Umbridge, I promised you that I would tell someone about what I've done to you, let's do that first." Harry said just as Selena slithered up his arm and rested her head on the back of his hand, she and Harry hissed at each other for several moments before he turned back to Umbridge. "Well...I kept my word."

"B...you...you said..."

"I said I would tell someone," Harry interrupted her. "I never said that person happened to be human." He pointed out. "Now, for your release from pain, I know a permanent solution that will help." Harry levitated the blood quill out of her hand and raised it into the air before spinning it around so it was facing Umbridge. "Goodbye Umbitch."

"NO!" Umbridge managed to scream out before the quill shot towards her.

"Kreatcher," Harry said several moments after Umbridge left the land of the living. "do you know where the part of the forbidden forest where the acromantulas stay is?"

"Oh yes master," Kreatcher quickly nodded. "Kreatcher understands."

"Good," Harry nodded. "first make sure there's nothing on the body that can be traced back to us."

"Oh Kreatcher knows," Kreatcher replied. "Kreatcher be doing these things before."

"Lovely." Harry said in a dry voice.

A.N: Hi guys, hope you liked the chapter. Yes Umbridge is gone, a funeral will be held next week at...oh wait...we don't have that type of budget...never mind, not like anyone would show up. Anyway, I am glad that people seem to be enjoying the story. The story will not last forever though, I estimate it will end in ten or so chapters. Sorry about that but alas, all good things must come to an end, still I do have a few other stories I am uploading if you're interested in and I do plan to release a HP/DC crossover at some point. Yeah, look forward to that.

Thanks for reading, feel free to leave a review.
