AN: This is the last chapter before the start of my second story. Should I re-upload that one as well?

Three days before Christmas Eve: 4 and a half years later;

As the portal vanished, I waved back towards our friends, "Bye Granger! See ya Harry!" I turned towards the green of the Ghost Zone and sighed, happy to be back.

"Hey babe, ready to head home and see how everyone is?" I ask my 'fiance', Ember.

"Hell yeah Babypop! I know we managed to get a hold of them and they know we are coming but they don't know when, it is going to be great!" Em smirked as we flew off towards the Fenton Portal. As we approach, Clockwork appears from the portal and smiles.

"Ah the young Halfa couple returns! Welcome Daniel, Ember. Your family is waiting and I have told them to not fight this Christmas, otherwise I would deal with them. You know you will have to return, correct? There is still the war over there to finish," Clockwork informs us as we grow serious once more.

"Yeah Clockwork, we know. Ember has gotten better with her teleportation and as such we decided it had been long enough, we wanted to see familiar faces for a bit before going back to them. We won't stay long, just through Christmas," I inform as Em grabs my hand. We see Clockwork notice, smirk, nod at the answer and vanish. We share a look and chuckle as we go through the Fenton Portal. I sigh as I see the familiar lab, finally relaxing.

"Hey mom, dad, Jazz, Sam and Tucker! Guess who!" We yell together as we appear in the living room. We see all of them jump up, grabbing weapons, "I swear Technus if you try that bullshit with their voices again I am following your ass into the Zone and destroying your lab!" Mom shouts as she pulls up a thermal sight. We go visible and transform. They all drop their weapons and look at us in shock. As one we hear, "DANNY! EMBER!" and get crushed next to Em in a huge hug from my dad.

"Look at ya my boy! Wearing something besides your white t-shirt huh? Bout time!" I chuckle as I look towards myself and Ember, both of us look older while wearing faded blue-jeans, black t-shirts with Guns n Roses logos, and grey tennis shoes. I also remember I grew a slight beard to help look more mature.

"Heh, yeah we've had a big change because of our different locations. It's been one helluva run but we aren't done, we still need to go back," I inform them as we all become sober in thought.

"Well what's happened around here? Hopefully Frostbite, Princess Dorathea and Pandora have been able to help with the ghosts? Anything new happening with you guys?" I ask, hoping to change the subject.

"Oh yeah! Danny guess what! Me and Sam are engaged!" Tucker blurts out before anyone else can tell me anything. I laugh as Ember shows her left hand to everyone, "So looks like the boys finally realized eh, Sam?" Em laughs as they high-five and Jazz laughs.

"Looks like little bro and Tuck did something right!" Jazz says as she ruffles my hair, which has become even longer and shaggier. "It's good to see you both, can you tell us about your adventures so far?" I laugh as we all settle in, the three couples sitting together. I begin telling them about our multitude of adventures with "The Golden Trio" and what followed. We all laugh, cry, get angry, and generally enjoy ourselves until we realize it's been over six hours and is now 1 o'clock in the morning.

"Alright, hopefully my old room is still here, I along with Em will be up there until Christmas Eve, sleeping. Goodnight y'all and see you later!" I inform them as we fly up and collapse together on my bed, groaning in relief.

"I had almost forgotten what an actual bed felt like, after leaving that castle to go on the run with them, I don't think we've been in a bed since. True that tent is awesome, but doesn't beat an actual bed. When are you going to tell them we are actually married instead of the engaged story, Babypop?" Em rolls over and asks me as we hold each other.

"I don't know, Hon. I wanted to tell them tonight but when Tuck said that, I just went with it to make it easier. I don't want to keep hiding the fact that we got married two years ago but I just don't want them to feel like they missed one of the most important moments, ya know?" I explain as we get comfortable. I kiss her on the forehead.

"Alright, fair enough, but let's tell them after we emerge from hibernation, g-night luv," Amber says as we drop our ghost forms after realizing we still had them active after flying up here. We look at each other, laugh, kiss and fall asleep still entwined.

Christmas Eve;

As we finally emerge from our room and head downstairs we see everyone laughing around the kitchen table. We slowly make our way over to the coffee pot, make sure it isn't ghostly and proceed to drain the pot. As the caffeine hits we look around realizing what just happened in-front of everyone and both of us laugh while rubbing the back of our heads.

"Morning y'all! Sorry about the coffee but it's a lot better than what we are used to and anymore if we don't have caffeine in the morning, we are grumpy all day," I explain as they laugh at us. I head up after greeting everyone to take a shower, in which Amber joins me, sneakily. Afterwards we get ready to go out in public, dressed in clothes close to our old attire.

"The press is going to flip out when they see us, you know that right?" Em says as we walk downstairs.

"I know but there isn't much we can do about that, the world's biggest celebs just leave for three and a half years with no warning from the biggest concert of the year, there are going to be questions," I shrug as we walk out to see the press already around the house with signs for Sam and Tuck. They all stare at us in shock until they realize who we are. I smile as I give Em the look. She smirks as we turn back towards the news cameras, "Did you miss us Amity Park?" we shout as we transform. We hover there as we hear and see them go nuts.

"Alright everyone, settle down! Sorry for leaving almost four years ago but things came up and we had to go help some people! Actually we are only back until after tomorrow, sorry it's so short but we don't have a choice, still a lot to do!" I wave at them as we fly off to get in some very last minute Christmas shopping, we stay at the mall signing autographs and waving at everyone until they close. We head outside to see the media still filming and I decide that it's time Amity Park and this reality knew.

"Hey Em, you care if I tell them about us?"

"Nah Dipstick, I don't mind, just make it up to me and your family later, yeah?" She says, winking.

"Hey guys! Guess what happened while we were away! We are married! You are looking at Daniel and Ember Fenton/Phantom! When we finally get back for good, we will have a public ceremony right here in Amity!" I shout out to them followed immediately by Ember flashing her ring and kissing me hard. The crowd roars as we teleport back home in a whirlwind of flames. We return to see everyone glaring at us.

"Daniel Fenton! When the Hell where you going to tell us you were married instead of engaged and I don't care if you wanted to plan the ceremony here, I am designing it and you both will deal with it. Am I understood?" My mom yells at us as we stand there, thoroughly chastised.

"Actually, we were just about to tell you, and we were going to let you and Jazz design everything. Sorry for not saying anything, we just went with the engagement thing because of where we have been for the past one and a half years," Em explains as I still stand there debating on facing the media again instead of my angry mother. After Em explains what we have decided I see my mom and Jazz get slightly emotional. Oh shit, here comes the waterworks.

"I didn't know, I.. I'm so sorry Danny *sniff* I didn't realize how much thought you put into this, come here!" Mom wails as she and Jazz attack us in a bear hug. I glance over at dad and he gives a small smile and a thumbs up and turns to leave.

"Hey Mr. Fenton! I was wondering, since my parents are gone, could you walk me down the aisle?" Ember asks, smiling. My dad turns back and beams, "Of course I can! I would be honoured! Especially since I already consider you a daughter," He exclaims, making everyone tear up again. After the group hug and tears are all gone, we hang out, watching Christmas movies and drinking hot chocolate until midnight.

"Happy Christmas! Wait, nevermind, Merry Christmas! Still in their reality," I laugh as everyone looks at me.

"Whelp, goodnight!" I say as I book it up the stairs to get to the bed first. Ember comes up and jumps on me as we collapse onto the bed.

"Time for you to make it up to me Babypop," She says suggestively and I know it's going to be a long night.

…..

"Merry Christmas Danny and Ember!" Sam and Tucker say as they walk in with their families.

"Don't worry about the food, I finally managed to fix everything so nothing is ghostly anymore!" My mom says as we sit around, preparing for Christmas Breakfast. Everyone sighs in relief as we dig in.

"This is great mom!" "Thanks Mrs. Fenton!" This is amazing Maddie!" is the general consensus around the table as everyone eats. Afterwards, we all head to the living room to open presents and have a great time with family. Around eight o'clock, everyone leaves and it is just us Fentons left.

"Thank you guys, this was an awesome Christmas. I hope we don't take as long this time around but we have to leave," I inform my family as we come back downstairs in the clothes we arrived in.

"Take care and we will hopefully see you soon! Love ya!" Dad says as he gives us a hug. We smile and wave before Ember opens a portal and we disappear.
