TheShadowStarr23: Aw thanks! :D I had fun writing that part.
And now, on with the story!
May looked around at the meadow with flowers and the stream, trying to decide what to do next. The only option was to look for help. Maybe someone could show her the way out of the game. She looked for any sign of a house. Nope.
Now, where would someone build their house if they lived in a video game? On high ground? There were no hills in sight. In the forest? Maybe…
May finally decided that the best option of looking for help was by following the stream. People usually lived near water, and she would get lost trying to look through the forest.
May jumped down from the tree. Bad idea. She could feel her heart busting. And it hurt super bad. She shouldn't feel like this after a little jump!
"Well" May though "I am never jumping off something again.
She started walking along the river. There were flowers and plants and grass, and it all looked pretty in its own way.
Then she saw something ahead. It was a pink square with a square head, little eyes and a big nose. It looked slightly like a pig… "Oh, it probably is a pig" thought May. Then she suddenly started feeling hungry… and there was a pig…
"No, I am not eating a pig." said May firmly, as she got out her pickaxe and started chasing it and whacking it with her pickaxe. Eventually the pig fell over and turned into a piece of raw pork chops.
May started crying. She had never killed anything bigger than a bug, and here she was, whacking pigs to death with a pickaxe. Soon she stopped though. It was pointless. She would need to eat somehow, so she would just have to get used to it.
She walked over to the pork chops and they appeared in her backpack. How was she going to eat raw pork chops? Would she die? She decided to just eat a loaf of bread. She felt better.
After a while the trees on the other side of the river started getting more dense and there were lots of plants hanging from the trees. The air was also wet. She decided that she was getting near a rainforest.
Then she noticed that there was a grey stone building in the trees. Finally! A house!
She started walking towards it. She found the entrance and went inside. There was a staircase that led up and down. She went upstairs. There was no one there.
She went into the basement. There was a turn with some leavers. She didn't mess with them because this was someone else's house. She walked around and suddenly there was a swoosh and there was an arrow at her feet! It had almost killed her!
She turned around and ran out of the building.
But after awhile she went back inside. Why? Because she needed to know how to get home. Maybe she could somehow find the person by flipping the leavers? She didn't know what else to do.
She found the leavers, and flipped one of them. Nothing. She flipped another one. Nope. She went up and looked around one last time.
Hey! There was a hole one the ground! Maybe she could find someone down there! She jumped into the hole. Her heart didn't hurt or anything, so jumping down small holes was okay?
There was a small room with a chest, but nothing else. She opened the chest. Gold and silver. She put them in her backpack. There were apparently no people in the house.
She left and headed back towards the river. And saw something strange. A long yellow and brown thing with cute green eyes. It sort of looked like a cat. She kind of felt this instinct that told her to feed it. She looked in her backpack and held out a raw fish (She had never heard of a cat eating a pig). She came closer, and then the cat ate it and turned into a brown cat with yellow eyes with a bunch of hearts above its head.
In short, it was the cutest thing that she had ever seen. Also the weirdest thing ever. Why would a cat turn into another cat if you fed it? She sat down and started petting it. It started purring. May decided to name it Brownie.
She got up and started walking. The cat followed. May decided to let it come with her.
She found a sheep and killed it. This time she didn't cry, but she still felt sorry for it. She got some wool. Then the sun started to set.
May didn't want to see the green person again, so she thought about what to do. Being in a tree could help, but what if it could climb trees? She could dig a hole and bury herself. That sounded like a good idea.
She took out her pickaxe and made a hole. She went in and put a block of dirt over her. And waited. For night to be over. She didn't have anything to do, so she closed her eyes and tried to sleep.
I am going to release more chapters soon, so keep reading!
I hope that all of you are doing well, despite everything going on.
Thanks for reading!
