Hello my curious readers. This story was one part personal challenge one part a dare made by a friend. I had been readimg a few works like Nomad DoomBringer and figured I might as well try my hand at my own Warp God fic. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Warhammer 40k is owned by Game Workshops. If I did then I wouldn't write fanfiction.

The Warp twisted and twirled with the emotions, beliefs, and echoes of the souls of the inhabitants of the Galaxy. Once the immaterial ocean was a stable place but that had long since been lost. The weight of the War in Heaven had made it a violent place. Creatures born of the golly of the Old Ones who in a desperate attempt tried to stop a war of extermination.

Now within the depths of the Warp the true danger was seen as the Realm of Chaos was born. A plane within the immaterial reality were the greatest threats of that war that were born and had always been. The Old Ones lasting legacy to the Galaxy was thirsting Gods barely kept in check by the greatest of their creations.

Yet, as time passed so too did their great creation, the Aeldari, become used to the rule. Their very Gods that had been given to them as large masses of psionic energy that they molded with their beliefs began to weaken. With this the barrier they had begun to let in the corruption of Chaos.

Now it seemed that in their arrogance and excess that a new horror was forming. Already it was beginning to speak to the minds across the galaxy. Storms tore through the Warp making travel next to impossible for many of the races who needed it. For those who used lesser versions or alternative means they didn't notice anything. Anything save the sudden weakness of the races that did.

As the court of the soon to be four Chaos Gods readied themselves for the first in a great victory, one which would lead the Galaxy slowly into their arms, something also was happening. Near the end of the War in Heaven the Old Ones had tried to produce their own constructs within the Warp in the same vein to the Gods of their creations.

They were aware of the madness that was to come and had hoped that these creations could fix the mess and put an end to the war. Alas it was too late for them to truly form. A few were lost and turned apart as the Chaos Gods form, others were bleeded apart by the younger races who imagination drained away the relative safety for their Gods.

Only one remained and even it was on the threshold to fade away. The birth of the newest Chaos God would ensure either its destruction. With it would be the lost the one last attempt by a dead race to try and fix their mistakes. Yet, by some cosmic chance something had changed about this Warp Nursery.

'Where am I?' A question that was almost impossible to ask given the strange almost organic like place they found somethems in. Memories started to flood into their head. Who they were and how they had got here was slowly starting to come. "Am I dead?"

"No, far worse…" A weak voice spoke behind them. Turning around they almost jumped at the sight. There almost being merged within the organic wall was something that looked like an elf. An elf with the traits of both a man and a woman and from the looks of it was heavily malnourished. "This is the stomach…" It looked up slowly at them with pain and sunken eyes. "Of She Who Thirsts young one…"

That name sounded familiar to them. Something that their brother had played with. A game that was just on the tip of their tongue. "Who are you?"

The elf thing looked at them. "We're all the remains of the Aeldari that they had eaten," Its voice cracked for a moment before returning. "The mortals and their Gods."

That was a huge bombshell to hear. Gods exist and from the sound of it, elf aliens did as well. This was starting to sound like something they knew but what they still couldn't place it. Suddenly the thinh screamed as it seemed to slowly edge itself into the wall. "What's happening?"

"Its digesting me…" The being groaned before looking at the child. Before it seemed an almost formless light. "You will be next once your defenses fall."

Wondering what they were talking about they suddenly started to understand a bit. Looking at their hand they saw that instead of normal fless there was a formless light that shifted colors. So many thoughts raced through their minds at this but there was one thing that was at the front of it. "There has to be a way outta here!"

"Neither of us are strong enough..."

"What about together?!"

The remnant looked at the thing in front of it. The remaining essence of the victims of the Chaos God on some level knew what this being was. It was young and naive thinking that they could just work together and break out. The pride of the Aeldari rave wanted to refuse it. Yet, faced with only the option of oblivion it had either two choices. Either fight pointlessly or give all it has to the thing.

Both choices will mean its end fully. As much as it hated the second option, and indeed it did, the small tiny possibility that it would succeed would deny the Dark Prince the rest of itself. If it failed it then it didn't matter either way. "Come here."

Tzeentch looked at the recent developments within the Warp with a mix of annoyance, laughter, and amazement. All three appearing all across its form. The Changer of Ways had noticed the little Proto-God that Slaanesh had eaten. Which he may or may not have tricked them into thinking it was an Aledari God. One potential ally or enemy removed by another ally/enemy.

The usual something for a newly ascended and always had been Master of the Galaxy. What had caught his surprise was somehow the little Proto-God was born regardless. Apparently Slaanesh needed to learn how to properly chew their food. A tentacle was already writing that down on the ever expanding, and slowly being shredded, to do list.

"An almost joyous occasion is the birth of a New God," a head formed in place of his arm as it let out a puff of smoke. Another arm formed and started to struggle in frustration. "EXCEPT WHEN IT FORMS A NEW RIVAL!"

There was a small possibility that whatever it was would have been born within Slaanesh. If so a horrible new Dark God would join their ranks. Either that or maybe a new God of Order. The verdict was still out on that one given it was too soon, if one can measure time in a time fluid dimension, to see. "Oh, how nigh-impossible yet still expected!"

There were no worries. First, Tzeentch was going to find a way to remove the image of Slaanesh disgusting moans of pleasure at having their organs torn apart. Then laugh at Nurgle for failing his little attempt at raising their newest sibling. Finally, have tea and biscuits. After all, that is done he'll figure out what to do about the little mess that was just made.

His laughter returned as he began to weave new plans for the future. A future that continued to shift ever more both from his command and the actions of those also weaving their own plans.

'They could have given me a bit of a warning,' The sudden rush of power that had come triggered something and before they knew it she had let the force of energy take over. Everything else was a bit hazy after that. What they recalled was a scream mixed with the sound of stone breaking apart. Maybe the details were still up in the air.

As their eyes opened they were now met with a sky that seemed somewhat like a never ending storm. As for the ground that they were lying on it was something of a giant of rock with several others floating around. Some close to the size of the one they were on but most were smaller. "I'm in the Warp…"

The information about this place had started to fill their mind. Information that had been recalled from the doomed mass of Aeldari. Their shared experience was fractured and unfortunately a little blank to be honest.

Stopping they started to look at themselves to see if anything had happened. At the first glance, besides a more idealized looked of a young woman there didn't seem to be many changes. That is when she noticed the pointed nails, she felt the weight of the devil-like wing on her back, and rolled her tongue over the fangs that had replaced her canines. 'I wish I had a mirror…'

The Warp listening to her command formed a hand mirror that floated before her. Taking it she finally saw her face. Unsettling golden eyes stared back with black scarla. The pupils were the strangest part. Each ehe had three of them. One that appeared like slits and the last two being a small black circles on each side of them.

The mirror broke apart within her hands as it was no longer needed. The weight of what had happened was finally starting to smash into their head. Everything began to click and with it they had a mix of shock, confusion, disbelief, and fear. Somehow they had become a Godlike being within a realm that was basically made up of thoughts and emotions. They were basically lost and now no longer human. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!"

On the battered remains of the world once known as Terra a certain ancient man looked up into the sky. He had felt the sudden shift in the flow of the Warp. For a moment one of his great enemies had been broken by another force. It was only for a second and yet its impact had been noticed.

Whatever it was it had unfortunately failed to kill them. Still, whatever it was this thing was either dead having used all of its power to do so or worse. This thing was born within one of them meaning could now be a Chaos God. As outlandish as this the thought was the madness of the Warp made it a possibility.

If such a thing was true then it made things far more dire then he had expected. On the plus side perhaps a mew player would make them focus on each other more than before. The fickle nature of Chaos always made it fight amongst themselves. However, such a nature also meant they could work together. 'Perhaps, it is time to get to work on the Primarch Project.'

There is the end to the Prologue and with it the set of of the series. Now, your probably wonderimg a few thimgs so I'll clarify. Yes, they are a human soul at the base but one that isn't familiar with the setting. Given what they are now I decided that usual stick was not a good idea. Sure, it works for your character being a normal human, a Xenos, or hell maybe a Primarch but not this. Furthermore, I do not intend to have them be nterimg into major battles. They're not the Emperor and are restricted to the Warp with their full power.

With this out of the way I neen wondering on what should be done with them. Should I have them side with an Abhuman race, one of the Petty Empires, a Xenos race, or have them dip into a bit of all? I figure you might have an idea or question, feedback, or maybe some criticism. If so I'll consider it.

I'll cya all when the first chapter comes out.
