A/N: week 11 #963: thoughtful

Miyako was lying in a hospital bed when Hikari walked in to check on her. The younger Yagami had recovered somewhat since mistakenly believing she had lost her older brother and had chosen to be the one to visit Miyako as she recovered from being unconscious for so long.

"Hey, Miyako. How are you?" Hikari asked, seating herself beside the bed. She noticed her jogress partner still looked quite pale.

Miyako opened her eyes slowly and turned her head. "'s slow." She responded, reaching with a trembling hand to point to the record file at the end of the bed.

Hikari nodded and retrieved it, glancing at it. Motor skills and walking ability compromised. Will need therapy, ongoing. Speech slurred as well. This really wasn't good. But she would be here for Miyako every step of the way. "I'll be here for you, Miyako. I promise."
