Prologue!

Sitting in a park as the sun was slowly going down, was a young boy.

The young boy in question has golden eyes, with light chestnut brown hair that came down to his neck. He was quite slim looking, soft facial features, who wore jeans and an oversize hoodie. Around his neck, was a necklace that had half a heart carved out of some silver and gold metal mixed together beautifully.

His name, was Keita Chisaki.

Overlooking the different types of people coming in and out of the park, he couldn't see the person that he was waiting for.

Seeing the different people interacting, it was amazing to see that families and friends were getting along, playing together.

As he watched, small sparks seemingly went off around his fingers.

"Huh...what was..."

Placing his fingers together, the young boy wondered for a brief moment.

But then he saw that there was a small boy had broken his toy. The Mother looked on, trying to console her son. But she couldn't in the end, so Keita walked forward. He bent down towards the young boy, while the Mother looked on, wondering what Keita was doing.

"Please don't cry, it's alright. I can fix that for you if you want?"

"F-Fix it?"

Keita nodded, showcasing a kind smile.

"Yes, I can do that." Keita's eyes went towards the Mother. "If that's okay?"

"How are you going to fix it?"

"With my Quirk, I can put it back together, as if it was new."

"Amazing...yes, if you can do that, I'd be really grateful."

Keita took the toy, and the Mother and son were amazed as Keita's fingers brushed against various parts of the toy, that began to meld together as if they were fusing, and eventually, it was put back together, handing it back to the boy.

"There you go, no more tears now."

"Wow...that's amazing!"

The boy cheered, Keita waved him off as the woman took her sons hand.

"Come, we have to go now."

"...Okay."

The woman and the boy bowed their heads, and said in unison "Thank you!" Keita waved them off, and watched as the pair walked off together, a grateful look on their faces.

Keita continued to smile at the sight, before he looked down at the watch on his wrist.

Showing the time, Keita muttered "Shoot, I need to head back, big brother will be there soon." and turned towards the exit, running forward. Seeing the stairs, he rushed down the stairs, and turned the corner…

When he suddenly collided into something.

"Ooh..."

His eyes noticed that his head was resting on something rather, soft. His eyes caught a few locks of ash blonde hair, which appeared to be spiky, with red eyes looking rather angrily to the sky. Two people stood behind the girl, and said things like "Bakugo, are you okay?" and "Kick his ass Bakugo!" apparently egging the girl on.

Said girl shot her eyes angrily towards Keita, who pulled himself up and simply placed his hands together.

"Who the hell just crashed into..." Starting off angrily, the girl's face turned slightly more, unsure as she looked towards Keita's form, seeing his eyes, his face, his hair, along with the clothes that he wore and the necklace as well. "..."

"B-Bakugo! He just crashed into you! Knock him out!"

One of her friends tried to rally Bakugo on, but she didn't say anything.

She simply stared at Keita who looked between her and her friends.

"Bakugo, are you okay? This idiot knocked you down, take him-"

"Shut the hell up you idiots!"

""Aaah!""

Her two friends screamed as Bakugo snapped at them, along with an explosion going off around her palms.

She then stood up, watching as Keita smiled towards her.

"Are you okay?"

Bakugo huffed, folding her arms as she turned away.

"...I'm fine."

Keita chuckled lightly, standing up, and waved a hand through his hair.

"That's a relief, I'm sorry for crashing into you like that."

"I said I'm fine, didn't I?!"

Keita chortled lightly.

"Wow, you're quite quick to temper, aren't you?"

Bakugo snarled at the young man who didn't look intimated at all.

That, was a surprise to Bakugo's two friends, she could frighten pretty much anyone, yet Keita wasn't intimidated at all.

"Tch, whatever." Keita pulled closer, examining Bakugo's face, the young blonde showing slight irritation. "What are you looking at me for?"

"It's just, something about your face is..." Keita heard a beeping from his watch, showing the time once more. "Ooh, I have to go!" Keita bowed, and showed the peace sign. "Sorry again...eeeh...Bakugo-san!"

Keita bowed once more, and ran out of the area.

Bakugo's eyes watched as the boy left, with her friends still not understanding exactly why she hadn't said anything to him at all.

"Seriously Bakugo, what was that about? You should have messed him up."

"Unlike you two idiots, I don't have the time or energy to deal with small fries. It clearly was a mistake. Lets just go."

Bakugo's eyes went towards the place Keita went towards once more.

Letting out a small breath, Bakugo walked away from the area.

When he returned back to the Shie Hassaikai, Keita made it back in time to go and see his brother.

However, while he was about to go into the room his brother was in, Keita was suddenly ambushed by a man with an unruly appearance.

"Screw you Overhaul! I'll make sure that you die!"

"Yeah right, you and your Quirk are useless against me."

Hearing the back and forth's, Keita tried to get out of the way...

But the enemies dangerous eyes landed on Keita, and he withdrew a knife, Keita pulled backwards ducking as the blade came for his upper body. However, as the blade went to pierce him, Keita managed to touch the ground, a small wall rose up, with the knife breaking on the wall.

So he took out a lighter, something Keita noticed, and the next moment, as the fire from the lighter touched his sin, he summoned flames.

Keita focused his eyes, ready to defend himself...

However, a voice called out "Don't you dare!" with the ground suddenly erupting in spikes, forcing the man away from Keita as he shot the flames for the spikes, a powerful wave came out and destroyed a number of spikes.

Keita watched as his brother came shooting out of the room.

The young man in question was a man his early twenties with dark brown hair, and gold eyes with a plague doctor like mask on his face. Wearing gloves on his hands usually, this time he wasn't, but he was wearing a business like suit that was all black in colour.

This man was Keita's elder brother, Kai Chisaki, but recently he had been going by Overhaul.

The man that tried to stab Keita showed a disturbing smile.

"So, you're his precious little brother are you? How cute. Perhaps I should take you, then Overhaul will give me what I want."

Keita pulled back as his elder brother walked closer.

"Tch, trash trying to get one up on me, you can die."

Overhaul's finger scraped the ground, erupting the ground in an array of spikes, some that cut deeply into the man's legs, but he managed to avoid a fatal stabbing, and jumped backwards by using the fire to propel him.

Blood dripped down onto the ground, as Overhaul placed a hand on Keita's shoulder.

"Did he hurt you?"

"No...I'm okay. But who is he..."

"Trash that needs to die."

Kai said it with a dark voice, and went to touch the ground when the man called "The Shie Hassaikai are a joke! As are you Overhaul! You wont get away with this!" and he took out what seemed to be a grenade, pulling the pin, and tossed it towards the brothers.

Kai grabbed Keita and raised a wall with his Quirk, causing the ground to become a dome around them as the bomb went off. Keita winced at the sound of the bomb, while Kai growled at the sight of the earth dome cracking.

Kai then ordered some members that had come rushing out to go and apprehend the enemy.

"It seemed that he tried to kill my little brother..."

"Big brother...what was that about?"

"He's some criminal that had something that I wished for. A good supply of Trigger, but he got a little cocky, and begged for more money than I was willing to pay for cheap stuff such as this. When I refused, he tried to kill me, then he targeted you. To think that one of our own brought this unstable lunatic into a place where my brother could be harmed." Kai one arm hugged Keita, something Keita flinched at. "Don't worry Keita, he's gone now."

Keita looked towards the broken down area with the explosion, and then towards his elder brother.

He saw a rage within Kai.

A rage that was truly frightening.

But for Keita…

It wasn't anything new.

Later on, Keita was stood before his elder brother, as another man was stood nearby.

Kai didn't look pleased, his eyes focused in on Keita, and also a man that was stood close by.

"It was your idea to deal with that bastard, and your decision caused my brother to be nearly stabbed. You placed him in an unfavorable position."

The member that had done it began to sweat.

Seeing the anger within Overhaul's eyes, he was feeling sick deep down within him.

"W-Wait, I-I didn't mean t-to, I-I just thought t-that I'd..."

"I've explicated said many times that this boy is not to be harmed, or come to harm from anyone outside. Yet, you disobeyed me, you slacked off in your research, and my brother was in danger because of your incompetence."

The man began to feel a fearful feeling running through him, shaking side to side again and again.

"N-No! That's not it at all! Please forgive me! I didn't mean to! Please forgive-"

He was cut off when Overhaul merely took off his glove, and moved his hand forward.

Fear laced within his eyes, and he tried to escape, but the door was sealed with Kai using his Quirk on the ground.

Keita, unable to take it, tried to protect the man.

"Wait, big brother don't do it!"

Keita tried to move to stop Kai, but Kai merely tapped the ground, wrapping the earth around Keita's limbs, and stopped him from moving. His arms suspended in the air, unable to move his wrists, his legs bound so he was in the air.

"It's alright Keita, I'll take care of him."

"N-No! Don't do this! Please don't do this!"

He begged, and tried to escape, but he couldn't get his hands to reach the earth binds, and could only watch in horror as Kai neared the man.

Seeing the fear of the man, Keita couldn't take it, and tried his hardest to get to him.

But with no way to move, he did the only thing he could.

With a "Big brother, please stop!" from the younger brother, Kai paused, his eyes shooting for Keita, seeing his saddened expression.

Kai surprisingly softened his gaze upon Keita, something he didn't do with anyone else, and sighed.

"...It seems that it would upset you if this man died." His eyes landed on the man before him, and pointed to the door. "You've got a reprieve thanks to the kindness of my brother. Next failure you do, and you're dead, understood?"

"Y-Yes sir!"

The man turned towards Keita, with appreciative eyes, before shooting out of the room, leaving the pair alone.

Kai tapped the ground once more, freeing Keita from the earth.

"I'm sorry about that Keita, you shouldn't have to witness such things."

"...Thank you for...for not killing him."

"Naturally, your happiness and safety is a priority of mine." He replied with a slight smile, patting the side of him. "Come, sit here." Doing just that, Keita sat down next to Kai as the elder placed a hand on his shoulder. "With this situation happening, I've decided that you need a bodyguard so you can be safe, even when I'm not around. I think I've got a good person for it, a new recruit in fact. Though he can be rather loud, so you'll have to be patient with him, he's got a decent amount of strength."

Overhaul snapped his fingers, and brought in a new member.

Keita hadn't seen this person before, he was quite tall with light brown, almost orange like, hair, large fists that had some metal gauntlets on, along with his eyes sharpening on Keita himself, who cocked his head towards the right hand side.

"Overjerk!" Keita was surprised that this man had the guts to say that to Kai. "You're making me babysit this boy? Why should I do that anyway?"

"Because this boy is my important family, I'd consider it a personal favour to me. But if anything happens to him, you wont be coming back to life this time."

The man clicked his tongue.

"Whatever you say Overjerk."

Overhaul rolled his eyes.

"Keita, this man is called Kendo Rappa, he's going to be taking care of you from now on. If he does anything to you, tell me immediately, and he'll be swiftly dealt with, understood?"

Keita simply nodded his head.

"Yes, I understand."

"Good, now I've got a few things to do. If this man does anything, he can easily be replaced." His eyes went towards Rappa, who gave him a snide look. "Understood? One hair out of place on my brother, and I'll kill you."

Rappa didn't show any fear.

More like, he was showing a cocky attitude.

"Whatever you say Overjerk."

Keita watched as Kai stood up, and walked away, leaving him alone with Rappa.

Keita cocked his head at Rappa who looked down on the boy.

"For the record brat, I don't do housework, I don't clean up after kids, and I wont be following any of your orders, understood?" Keita looked on curiously. "It seems that you don't speak. Are you shy or something?"

"No, I was just attempting to work you out. You called my brother Overjerk. It's pretty funny~"

Hearing Keita let out a small laugh, Rappa became slightly intrigued, and let out a small laugh himself.

"Well, he is a jerk. Can you believe it, he comes into the place I love to be, and kills me! Then he tells me to fight for him! Damn bastard, I'm going to get my own back on him! I'll show him who's the more powerful person around here!" Rappa glanced down at Keita who kept looking up towards him. "And now I'm stuck watching you." Rappa sighed, watching as Keita tilted his neck. "Look kid, don't get in my way, and I wont get in yours either. I don't need anymore problems, especially ones of a kid like you, got it?"

"Got it."

Rappa gave him a curious look, before turning away and began walking away.

Keita looked as he began walking away, curiosity building up inside of him.

He felt...different to how most Shie Hassaikai members usually acted. He didn't feel as cold as them, though Keita still knew that he was a rather dangerous man.

The next day, Keita sat in the park, just looking out over the people that walked by, the kids playing together, and it brought a smile to his face how they interacted.

As time went on, the park dwindled in numbers until it was completely empty, save himself.

His fingers brushed against the bench he sat down on, with a few sparks leaving his fingers, and brushing against the metal bars on the bench.

Keita felt that, turning his eyes down to his hands once more.

However, thoughts of what that was left his mind as a cat came walking over.

Bending down to it, the cat nuzzled Keita's hand, so he lifted it up, and placed it next to him.

"Good kitty~"

The cat meowed, nestling Keita's hand sweetly.

As he did what he was doing, Bakugo walked by the park once more.

Her eyes went towards Keita, seeing him stroking the cat, smiling and talking to the cat, leaving her cocking an eyebrow upwards.

But when his eyes noticed her stood there, she huffed, and began walking away.

"She's so odd, isn't she kitty?"

"Meow~"

Keita chortled.

But then he stopped as she left.

"Come on kitty, lets go."

Feeling a cold chill down his spine, he stood up, and began to leave, feeling as if someone was spying on him.

He was right as well.

Someone was indeed watching him, a disgusting smirk appearing on his lips.

"Overhaul...I'll make sure you suffer, through that boy."

Growling that out, as Keita left the scene, the man that had attacked Keita back in the Shie Hassaikai hideout stepped out, making his dark intentions known as the ground around him slowly burned.

A few days later, Rappa stood in a training like area, thrusting his fists out before him.

Keita came strolling in, and watched with a tray of food in his hands.

"Rappa-san, I've brought you some-"

"Not interested, don't bother me."

Keita cocked his neck, shaking his head and placed it down while saying "I'll leave it here then." going to the corner of the room, sitting down, and merely watched Rappa as he continued to train his body.

Seeing how he was thrusting his fists forward, and how he was bending his body among other things, Keita was quite fascinated by his movements.

Rappa also noticed that Keita was looking at him.

At first he didn't say anything, he thought that Keita might get bored from watching.

But five minutes went by and Keita still sat there, just watching him train.

"What?"

Rappa demanded, Keita shrugged.

"Nothing, I'm just watching."

"Go and do something else."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

Rappa's booming voice didn't even register with Keita as he followed up with a curious stare.

"Don't you remember? My brother said I should be with you. If you're not gonna interact with me, then I'll just sit and watch you from here."

"Like I give a crap about what Overjerk wants. Leave me alone or I'll rip you in half!"

Rappa threatened him.

But was shocked when he saw that Keita gave no reaction of fear or intimidation.

It was shocking, he hadn't come across anyone like that before.

"As I said, I can't. If he finds out we weren't together, he'll kill you. You might not like me, but I'll be staying here to make sure you're not killed, okay?"

Rappa was mildly surprised that Keita said that.

He thought that Keita might just be obedient...

But no, he could put his thoughts forward, and say things even to him who was quite physically intimidating.

"Heh, got it kid."

Keita continued watching as Rappa did his thing, thrusting out his fists, and training harder and harder.

Soon though he became hungry, and glanced at the tray of food that Keita had brought in.

He then looked towards Keita briefly, who simply waved.

"If you're hungry, you can have the food. I made it for you."

"I'm not hungry."

He denied it, but Keita heard his stomach rumble.

"I think your body is saying different."

"Yeah well, it doesn't matter. I'll go without food."

"If that's what you want, but it's alright to eat it."

Keita's words carried kindness, but Rappa didn't seem interested.

"Whatever kid. How do I know you've not poisoned it?"

"Why would I do that?"

"You're Overjerk's brother, who knows what you'd do."

"If that's the case, then I have no intentions of killing you, I'd certainly not poison your food. Wouldn't I just ask my brother to kill you if that's what I wanted?"

Rappa sweat dropped.

"Okay you've got a point. Still..." His stomach rumbled once more, so he sighed, and went over to the food. "I'll eat this, but if you have done anything, I'll destroy you."

Keita didn't say anything, as Rappa took a bite of the food.

As soon as he did...

He was stunned.

"...This is pretty good kid." Rappa's eyes went towards Keita and scowled. "I'm not going to thank you kid."

"I had a feeling you wouldn't Rappa-san, but you're eating it, that's enough for me."

Rappa blinked several times, as he continued eating the food.

It was like night and day with Kai and Keita.

Kai was cold and ruthless, Keita on the other hand was warm and kind.

Yet they still both held rather strong wills, but used for completely different reasons.

That's what Rappa got out of it anyway.

But then, as Rappa ate, Kai came strolling into the room, overlooking the pair. Seeing how Keita was smiling towards Rappa, his eyes narrowed ever so slightly.

"Keita." Keita flinched as Rappa noticed his demeanor changed instantly. "It's time to go. We have some...things to do."

Rappa looked towards Keita, seeing his hands crunched together so tightly that his knuckles had turned white.

"...Big brother..."

"It's alright Keita, it wont take long."

Kai walked closer, bending down towards Keita, placing a hand on top of his head, Rappa glancing at Keita's face, seeing his fear growing.

That look...burned itself into Rappa's mind.

He hadn't ever seen someone looking so scared before.

"Hey kid, you okay?"

Keita's eyes shot for Rappa, and gave a single nod.

"...Yes, I'm fine."

"Come, Keita."

Kai ordered while staring at Rappa who rolled his eyes back.

Keita stood up, bowed to Rappa, and began walking out with Kai.

Rappa noticed as they walked out, Kai took off his glove, with Rappa wondering what he was going to do.

Rappa though was unaware of the fact that Keita...was about to be Overhauled.

Days passed, Keita went out to the park more and more. He knew his elder brother's schedule, so he knew when he could sneak away from the hideout, and he knew how to get around the security.

Looking through the park, admiring the scenery around him, suddenly three men came closer.

Each of them had a thuggish appearance, one was tall, one was average height, and the other was on the heavier side, Keita felt danger to his body, and went to move, when one of them stepped before him.

"Are you Overhaul's little brother?"

The taller one said, showcasing a scary smile.

Keita backed away slightly.

"...Who's Overhaul?"

The heavier one pushed forward, going to grab Keita's arm, but he pulls out of the way, only for the average height one to stick out his hand, and create spikes, attempting to grab Keita to stab him, but he avoided it by jumping back, however the heavier one stomped on the ground, the power of his legs seemingly strong enough to cause the ground to shake.

Keita's hand went towards the ground to use his Quirk, but the taller one grabbed Keita's arms, and bound them behind his back.

"Our boss wishes to see you."

"Y-Your boss? Who's that?"

"Yeah, the guy your brother dealt with a few days ago."

Keita's eyes widened as the spike user, and heavy man grab Keita's legs, and began trying to take him away.

However, Keita wasn't going to stand back and do nothing, thrashing out, slamming his foot into the face of the spike user, flinging him backwards, while trying to break free of the tall one, but his physical strength was something difficult to overcome to the point Keita thought he had some physical enhancement Quirk.

"Get off me!"

"Don't struggle brat!"

The taller one snapped, while the spike user wiped his face.

"Damn brat, struggling like this..."

While he growled that out, as luck would have it, Bakugo began walking through the park once more, when she saw that Keita was being attacked.

She knew it wasn't a game by the way that they were being so forceful, so she rushed forward, and yelled "Bastard!" punching the man right in the face that bound Keita's arms, setting off a strong explosion that propelled him away from Keita.

Keita dropped to the floor, glancing at Bakugo.

"Bakugo-san..."

He didn't have time for pleasantries however as the heavy and spike user attempted to attack, so Keita touched the ground, then Bakugo saw something surprising.

The ground suddenly shook as it erupted forward into two pillars of stone, slamming deeply into the torsos of the pair, Bakugo was astonished as they were launched back across the park, smashing them into a stony wall, causing up bile from the attack.

Keita stuck close to the ground, ready to use his Quirk at any time.

The tall one went to move, when he saw that below him, the earth was moving, causing a pillar to erupt out. He tried to punch it, but another pillar came out, forcing his hand back, the first pillar slamming him towards his friend also.

"Heh, so you're packing that kind of power, are you?"

Bakugo muttered, Keita glanced up at her with appreciation.

But then his eyes turned back to the Villains who were looking angrily towards him.

However, the moment that he was going to say something, suddenly, a yell of "Bastards!" came from the sky.

Keita and Bakugo looked up to see a woman with rabbit ears protruding out of her head, coming down, her long legs swung down, her powerful kick was so strong that Keita and Bakugo both fell back from the intense wind pressure.

"Come on then! Show me what you've got!"

The woman saw the three men come towards her, but bouncing forward, she took out the spike user with a kick to the face, but Keita saw that her leg got cut with his spikes, but she didn't even seem bothered, as she twirled around, taking down the heavy user with a barrage of kicks to his upper body, flinging him backwards.

She turned to the last one that was shaking at the sight of her.

"Heh, so these punks are picking on kids huh? Not with me around. But, you didn't even put up a good fight."

"S-Screw you!"

The man rushed for her, but she simply shot into the air, Keita looked up and saw her coming back down behind the man, her leg slamming into his shoulder, and knocked him out.

Once seeing that, Keita was amazed by her speed and strength. She then turned towards them with a cool smile.

"Saw what you did boy and girl as I got here, quite impressive."

Bakugo smirked, while Keita showed a smile.

"Thank you very much bunny girl~"

"The names Mirko boy." She swiftly grabbed the Villains, and hauled them over her shoulder. "Goodbye for now."

Mirko, with a single bounce, shot out of the area, with Keita's eyes looking up to the sky curiously.

Once she was gone with the Villains, Keita's eyes turned towards Bakugo.

"Thank you, Bakugo-san."

Bakugo's eyes scrunched together.

"Don't thank me, seeing some bastards trying that pissed me off."

"I see...well, even then, I still appreciate it."

"So, why where they after you anyway?"

Keita chuckled awkwardly, wondering what he'd actually say to that.

His eyes went towards the seating area, so he pointed towards it.

"Can we sit down and talk?"

"Sure, whatever."

Keita thankfully smiled as Bakugo raised an eyebrow at him.

Sitting down, Keita and Bakugo began to talk about what happened, Keita had to lie about some details. He didn't like to lie about it, but he couldn't say that they tried to take him because his brother was apart of the Yakuza and had tried to kill their leader.

"So, that's why they tried to take you?"

"Yes...it's because they don't like my family, and wished to hurt them by hurting me. My families...in a business that they don't like, like rival companies I suppose you could say."

While he couldn't tell the full truth, he couldn't lie either, and told as much as he could without drawing too much suspicions.

"Still, they didn't have a good handle of their Quirks. Tch, idiots."

Keita bowed his head to Bakugo.

"Thank you, for helping me."

"I said it was alright, didn't I?"

"I know that...but, behind your toughness, seems like you've got the heart of a kitten~"

Bakugo's eyebrows twitched.

"K-Kitten? You saying I'm weak?!"

"No, I'm saying you've got a kind heart. Though you are quick to anger huh~? You're like an angry kitten~ Feisty, and ready to take action~"

He chuckled out, Bakugo's eyes scrunching together.

Bakugo couldn't figure Keita out, he wasn't intimidated in the slightest, and when he was being attacked, he didn't seem scared.

"I don't really get you, but your Quirk seemed to be quite strong. Touching the ground, and shooting out those earth pillars. Can you shape the earth to do other things?"

"It's difficult, but yes I can do that. Ooh, I never introduced myself, did I? My name is Keita, pleased to meet you."

"Keita...huh. The names Katsuki."

"Katsuki...that's a cute name~"

"C-Cute? First it's kittens heart, then angry kitten, now my names cute?! You sure you're not making fun of me!?"

"No, why would I make fun of you?"

Katsuki sweat dropped seeing his confused face.

"...Never mind that. But, seeing your Quirk, and based on looks...you look around my age, are you applying for the Hero Course next year?"

"Hero...Course? What's that?"

Katsuki's eyebrows raised curiously.

"You don't know? The Hero Course, at U.A or Shiketsu, or whatever place you're thinking of going. I'm going to U.A myself, I'm sure they'll be dazzled with my Quirks power! And with your Quirk, no doubt it would be strong enough to get in."

Keita poked his fingers together.

"What else do they do there?"

"At the Hero Course?" Keita nodded, more intrigue coming over him. "They teach you how to be a Hero. You learn how to handle your Quirk better, become stronger, things like that. For me personally, I'm aiming to become stronger than the Number One."

"Stronger than the strongest..."

"Yeah, I want to surpass him."

"That's quite the goal, Bakugo-san."

Katsuki smirked towards him.

"Yeah, no doubt-"

"But, also remember that it might not happen so quickly. Things take time after all, so remember to be patient. You might find people stronger than you...but, you can still get stronger, it's what I intend to do also."

Usually she'd get annoyed by that.

But it didn't seem to be a criticism, it seemed more of a kind piece of advice.

"Patience huh...heh, so you're aiming to become stronger, are you?"

Keita nodded, putting out his fist in a thrusting manner, Katsuki blinked a number of times as he smiled kindly.

"Yup, I want to become strong also, so I can protect people."

"Protecting people? If you're a Hero, you do that anyway."

"Maybe so...but, I also want to protect people that don't have other places to go...it's kind of a dream of mine. People lose loved ones all of the time...I want to be someone that helps those people, and if I can, try my hardest to prevent losing those people."

Katsuki began to understand Keita a bit more.

It also helped that he was rather strong, yet humble at the same time, it did intrigue her.

"You know, I've seen you here before. A number of times. Just sitting here. Are you waiting for something? Or someone?"

Keita leaned back, looking up into the sky.

"Nothing like that. I've got no one to wait for. I like coming here. My...brother, and I used to come to a park like this, and had fun...so I like coming to this park, and being reminded of those times. Seeing the different people around, the kids playing, the teenagers hanging out together...it's amazing to see so many people conversing...but, this U.A huh...being a Hero. Bakugo-san, you wish to be strong, right?"

"That's right, my drive is to surpass the Number One! I'll destroy the opposition!"

"Hehe, you are an angry kitten after all~" Katsuki went to hit his head, but he ducked out of the way, causing a light smirk to appear on her face as he tilted his head. "But, you don't settle for anything less than what you're aiming for, I really admire that."

"Heh, you're quite odd, but you seem strong."

Keita, as she spoke, looked down at his watch, seeing the time.

"Ooh damn, I have to go." Keita jumped up, and bowed to Katsuki. "Thanks again Bakugo-san, goodbye."

"I guess...by the way, you going to be here tomorrow?"

Keita raised an intrigued eyebrow.

"Why?"

"I was just asking...it doesn't even matter anyway!"

"Hehe...yes, I'll be here tomorrow. Maybe...Maybe we could see one another again."

Katsuki huffed, turning her neck to the side.

"If I feel like it."

Keita giggled, putting his fingers into a peace sign.

"Goodbye Bakugo-san~"

Katsuki watched as he turned and ran away.

Her eyes ran themselves up and down his body as he ran away, looking slightly amused as he disappeared from the park.

A few days later, Keita had been spending a little more time with Katsuki, seemingly becoming a bit closer. But right now he had just finished making breakfast, and he went to deliver it towards the Boss of the Shie Hassaikai, someone that Keita knew Kai looked up to.

Getting to his office door, he knocked on the door, and he heard a "Come." so he did just that, opening the door, to see the boss sitting in his chair behind a desk, wearing a suit and tie, so Keita walked inside, and set down the food.

"I've made one of your favorite's, bacon sandwiches with banana yogurt, along with getting the newspaper, and your favourite brand of tea."

The elder male let out a small laugh.

"Thank you, Keita. You're a good boy."

Keita showed a soft smile.

"I don't mind at all."

The boss looked down at the food, and saw that there was some lettuce on the bacon sandwich.

"I don't really like lettuce..." Keita's eyes fell upon him with a no nonsense stare, so the boss bowed his head. "...but I'll eat it."

"Yes, it's good to have lettuce, and other things like that in your diet~" His eyes drifted to the television, and saw some blonde haired muscular person doing some weird posing. "Sir, that person...he's the Number One Hero, right?"

The boss hid a small smile on his face.

"That's right. That person is called All Might, he's currently the Number One Hero. He's very powerful, I've seen him being able to shatter windows with a single punch at a far distance away, with the wind being caught and blown at his opponents at a high speed."

Keita cocked his head sideways.

"That's amazing..."

"Yes, that's part of the reason the current Yakuza is the way that it is." Seeing Keita's intrigued expression, the boss let out a small laugh. "Keita, are you interested in Hero's?"

"...I haven't really thought about it before."

He replied, while the boss hummed.

"Hmmm, I see. Well, if you want to know more about him, I'll tell you what I know." Keita continued watching the television as images of All Might, among other Hero's came on and showed doing heroic things. "It seems you're pretty enthralled by all of this, Keita."

"A-Ah, I guess it's interesting to see all of the different Quirks."

Keita replied slowly, while continuing to watch All Might decimate some Villains with a single punch. His face grew larger with a smile, something that the boss hadn't seen before. More than the power, it seemed like Keita was seeing someone stop bad people from doing terrible things.

Letting out a small humming sound, the boss watched curiously as Keita's eyes scanned every detail before him.

Seeing him being happy, he definitely was happy as well.

"Oh, Keita. Could you go shopping for me? I'd send someone else...but you know how some of the people around here can be."

The boss called, the young man turning towards him kindly.

"Of course, is it alright with big brother?"

"Well, I'm the boss around here, so I make the rules." The boss let out a small laugh, as he pulled out his wallet, pulling out some money and a piece of paper as well. "Here, I've got a list for you. Take this, and go and get that stuff, alright? You'll have enough."

"Sure, I don't mind Sir." Keita looked at the items on the list, and found it rather...odd. "Sir, it seems that this stuff wouldn't be the usual stuff you get."

"It's for my granddaughter, I thought I'd get her some chocolate and other things."

"Granddaughter? You never said anything about her before."

The Boss laughed, pulling out his wallet once more, showing a picture of a white haired girl to Keita.

"This is her. She's my granddaughter, her names Eri. My families not involved with this kind of life which is for the best."

Keita thought that was for the best as well, especially with Kai around...it would be better to keep them away, and it seemed that the boss also shared that mentality.

Overlooking the picture, Keita placed a hand to his mouth.

"She's adorable Sir~ And that horn as well...is that her Quirk?"

"Naturally she is!" Keita smiled. "As for the horn, not really sure what that is actually. Nothing like that has appeared on either sides of her parents families before."

"I see. But still, she's so cute~"

"Haha, that she is Keita. So, if you could get those for me, I'd really appreciate it. Also, treat yourself, get some chocolate, or whatever you want. You do so much around here for me and the others, you're the only one who can truly control your elder brothers...darker side, he listens to you." Keits stayed silent as the boss chortled. "So, make sure you get something really nice for yourself."

Keita gave a thankful bow.

"Thank you Sir."

The boss let out a small laugh, as Keita walked away from the area.

As Keita disappeared, the boss simply smiled.

Going into the city was something he did very rarely, he did it even rarer on his own. He usually was with Kai, or some other member of the Shie Hassaikai. Even now, he was strolling around with Rappa following him from behind.

As he walked towards the shops, Rappa looked displeased with doing these kind of errands. Keita could understand why that was, Rappa was more into fighting than being around him, Keita though was thankful for Rappa.

"Lets hurry kid, this is boring."

"I'll hurry."

As they walked forward, Keita and Rappa didn't realize that as luck would have it, they were being followed.

By the same thing that had attacked Keita once before, and now seeing the boy again…

It seemed like he was truly angry.

Feeling the annoyance of what happened with Keita and how he managed to fight his men together with Katsuki, and then how Mirko subdued them. But more than that, he wished to have some money, and he wished to make sure that Overhaul suffered.

So, he watched the Shie Hassaikai as much as he could, and eventually, today, he found Keita out without Overhaul.

Getting there, he went into the shop and did his usual thing of shopping, getting everything on the list, while fully aware that he was being watched, they didn't make it subtle by how they moved from a few feet behind him.

But he stopped when seeing an All Might figurine on the shelves, and he cocked his head in wonder.

While looking at it, an elder man reached for it, and examined it.

Keita turned towards him, seeing that it was a man with dark green hair, and three yellow stripes at the front, glasses on his face, and wearing a business suit.

This man was called Sir Nighteye.

"It's a new figurine of All Might, the last one..." His eyes went towards Keita. "Oh, I'm sorry, did you want this?"

"No...I was just looking at it."

The elder man cocked an eyebrow up.

"If you don't want it then..."

"Aren't you a bit to old to play with toys?"

Keita said with an innocent smile, the elder gentleman looked mildly surprised.

"I suppose so, though since I admire All Might, I collect everything I can regarding him."

Keita cocked his head left and right.

"Do you play with it?"

"N-No, I don't play with the figurine, I just keep it in its packaging, that's all. Don't you collect anything?"

"Erm...not really. But, he's a good Hero, right? This All Might."

The elder man adopted a light smile.

"Yes, he's a very good Hero. Do you like him as well?"

"I...from what I've heard of him, he seems like a good person." The elder man found that slightly suspicious. "I wish that I could be that strong...he can shoot into the air, and can fly, right?"

"He can technically stay in the air by kicking the air, it's not real flight, but it's something that he can do. If you're interested, I could tell you more. I've known him for a long time you see, I am...used to be his Sidekick."

"Used to be? Why aren't you anymore?"

The elder man gave an intrigued look.

"I left of my own accord. I'd...rather not speak about the reasons. But, I do respect All Might, he's my favourite Hero. Do you have a favourite Hero?"

"A favourite huh..." Keita got into a thinking pose. "...I don't know, I haven't seen many Hero's before." His eyes went towards the figurines around, and saw a rabbit looking Hero. "But maybe the rabbit Hero here, she looks...quite beautiful and strong too~ I saw her up close, she was cool~" Keita said with a small blush on his cheeks, surprising Sir Nighteye. "But beyond that...I don't really know, I guess I like genuine Hero's, that do it to save innocent people."

"Saving innocent people, huh. Yes, Hero's like that are amazing."

"But there are also different kinds of heroism, people can be Heroic in different ways."

"Yes, I suppose you're right. So, are you looking to become a Hero?"

At the question, Keita was beginning to realize he was speaking a little more than he should, so he quickly bowed his head.

"Sorry for wasting your time, I've got to get home now. Goodbye."

Keita turned his head, and began to walk away.

But the elder man noticed Keita's eyes glanced towards him once more.

"Is, something the matter?"

"No...thank you."

The man raised an eyebrow.

"For what?"

"Nothing really...just thank you, for teaching me a bit more about this All Might. He even makes grown men buy his figurines~"

The elder man sweat dropped as Keita began walking away.

Thinking about what Keita said...he did find it a little odd that he didn't know All Might that well. Even people that weren't fans seemed to know more than what Keita did. And the fact that he seemed to quick to leave when the word 'free' was used.

Shaking his head, since he didn't really have much reason to think about it, he let it go for the moment.

The man continued on with his daily activities, and paid for the things he needed.

At the same time, Keita walked outside, and met with Rappa. Rappa merely grunted at Keita, who brought out a chocolate bar, and offered it up to the man. Rappa's eyes focused in on Keita's kind face.

"What's with the chocolate?"

"I thought I should get it you, as a thank you for taking time to come with me."

Rappa didn't say anything aloud, but something about Keita...he did like.

It was odd.

He hadn't been treated this kindly before...it was really odd.

But he liked it.

"No thanks necessary kid, it's a nice gesture though. Come, we should go."

"Alright then, lets get going."

Keita took the chocolate, placing it back in the bag, and began walking away with Rappa.

However, while he was walking away, Sir Nighteye came out of the shop, his eyes catching the sight of Keita walking away with Rappa. Sir Nighteye furrowed his eyebrows, he wasn't sure what to even think about when it came to Keita.

He went to turn away, when he saw that a man came out of the shadows, and was twirling a knife. He wasn't even hiding the fact that he was going to attack Keita in public, so he grit his teeth, and yelled "Look out!" Keita turned but Rappa immediately punched the man hard in the face, sending him flying backwards.

"Heh, trying to attack this kid, are you?"

The man showed a deranged look as he stared at Keita.

"Come here boy, one way or another, I'm getting the money from your brother! Even if I have to sell you, body part at a time!"

Rappa slammed his fists against his palms, and grinned ear to ear.

"I don't give a shit who you are, but you're not laying a finger on this kid!"

Keita looked towards Rappa in mild surprise.

He didn't think that Rappa would even be that bothered about him.

Sir Nighteye moved towards Keita as the man smirked at Rappa.

"I came prepared for this! I wont be dying so easily and even if I do...I'll make that Overhaul suffer!"

His body began to glow, as he directed his hand forward. From his hands, a wave of fire erupted outwards, shooting at an incredible speed. Rappa growled, and went to fight it, when Keita touched the ground, and allowed a wall of the earth to be raised shocking Sir Nighteye as he saw the earth wall blocking off the flaming attack.

"An earth Quirk..."

Sir Nighteye murmured, as the Villain snarled.

"Just like your damn asshole brother! His annoying Quirk can do this too! But as I said, I came prepared today!"

The man took out what seemed to be a grenade, and tossed it into the fire, causing a massive explosion, which sent Keita flying while Rappa was forced down onto the ground.

Keita's body flung back and hit a car, causing a dent in said car, Sir Nighteye grimaced and rushed past the Villain, moving closer to the boy, and bent down towards him.

"Hey kid, are you okay?"

Keita looked up towards Sir Nighteye, nodding a single time.

"I'm fine, but that man needs to be stopped."

"Yes, I agree. But please stay back, this could be dangerous. Allow me to handle this."

"Who are you? I thought you said you were a Sidekick?"

Keita's question was met with a calm face.

"I said I used to be a Sidekick. Now, I'm a Hero. Call me, Sir Nighteye."

"Sir Nighteye-san..."

Sir Nighteye turned back towards the Villain and began to run forward, when the Villain stuck out his arm, unleashing a wave of fire. Sir Nighteye was forced to dodge out of the way, while Rappa was grinning, rushing forward at a good speed.

Attempting to get close, Rappa's fists tightened, and he slammed his hands forward. Before the enemy could unleash more flames, Rappa's fists managed to connect a few times, drawing blood from the man's face, but Rappa's hands also received burns because of that.

Keita stood up, not even bothered by the pain that he felt. After being with Kai for so many years, Keita had a high threshold for pain, so this amount didn't bother him.

He watched as Sir Nighteye took out what seemed to be some stamp shaped weights, and threw them at the Villain, but he saw them coming, and produced a fire from his body.

Keita though could tell it was weaker than before, but it was enough to knock the seals away from his body, he also saw that the Villain was seemingly using some kind of lighter to burn his own body, remembering him doing that when he first saw him as well.

He was hiding it well, but Keita could see the flickering's of flames since he wasn't focused on the flaming attacks of the man.

"His Quirk! It's used by absorbing flames and intensifying it!"

Keita called to the bewilderment of Sir Nighteye and Rappa.

The latter however grinned.

"Is that so? Alright then, time to exhaust you and take that lighter off of you!"

Rappa came flying in with a number of bullet like punches, swinging faster and faster for the enemy before him. The fists slammed against the man as he produced fire from his body, releasing it at Rappa. Despite being burned, Rappa continued with the punches and hit him harder and harder, drawing more and more blood.

Sir Nighteye took this opportunity to bring out his weights, and launch them precisely at the man's body, forcing him to release more and more of his flames. But as Keita had said, it was draining. The flames that he could release, were weakening to the point that Sir Nighteye's last weighted seal managed to get through, and embed deeply into the man's torso, throwing him down along with Rappa's excessive punching.

The man grimaced, his body sore from the constant attacks from Rappa, and the final attack from Sir Nighteye.

He took a number of lighters out, and went to put them to his body...

But a number of earth pillars came out, knocking them out of his hands, and while they were in the air, the earth bent and came from both sides, crushing the lighters so they'd be a broken mess on the floor.

"Good work kid."

Rappa called out to Keita, who replied "No problem."with Sir Nighteye's bewildered eyes turning to Keita, who breathed out slowly, glancing at Sir Nighteye and nodded, Sir Nighteye also nodded, turning back to the Villain.

"It's over now, it seems you're nearly out of those flames of yours. They're weak to the point that my seals can get through. Give up now."

Sir Nighteye gave him that command.

He didn't know what else to do.

He couldn't beat Rappa, and he couldn't get close to Sir Nighteye either.

If he tried to fight with the remaining flames...he'd probably be stopped instantly.

As he was being cornered, Sir Nighteye and Rappa approached him to either detain or kill in Rappa's case, but just then, the Villain saw an opportunity to make sure that he'd be fine, seeing a young teenage girl with a slender figure who had orange haired tied into a side ponytail, seemingly unaware of what was happening.

That was until she got close, seeing the situation happening before her eyes.

The Villain took out a gun, and aimed it for her, his hand quaking, while the girl paused.

Looking between the gunman and the Hero's, she went to move back, but he stopped her by yelling "Move and I'll shoot!" stopping her in place.

Rappa on the other hand showed a willingness to fight, and began moving forward, but was stopped by Sir Nighteye.

"Don't you understand, if you approach, he will shoot her."

"I'll get to him before that could happen, don't act so stupid and think that a situation like this can be handled with words."

"I never said it could be. But that girl is innocent."

"Yeah well, so is the boy that's under my charge. And this bastard tried to kill him, so I'll just have to return the favour."

Rappa approached while Sir Nighteye tried to stop him.

The Villain's shaking body shook even more with the approach of Rappa.

"D-Don't you care?! I'll shoot the-"

"No you wont."

Keita cut him off, the Villains eyes narrowed considerably.

The man shot off what flames he had in him for the girl, she gasped and went to move back, but the flames were fast, reaching her within seconds.

She thought that she'd be burnt.

She thought that she'd be killed...

But suddenly, an earth wall erupted between her, and the flames, stopping them all together.

Sir Nighteye blinked, his eyes turning to Keita who's hand was resting on the ground as did the girl.

"Coward...attacking innocents like that."

Keita said it with disgust.

"G-Get lost kid! Don't even-"

"Attacking a girl...attacking innocent people. I wont allow it...you want a fight, you can fight me."

As he said it, Rappa noticed his hands released a few sparks, raising an eyebrow at that.

"W-What are you going to do you little-"

Keita stopped him when he placed his hand on the ground. The earth began to form around him into a different shape. It began to move as if to Keita's own will, Sir Nighteye was amazing to see the power behind Keita's Quirk, seeing it growing as the earth danced to his will.

Then, with a flick of Keita's fingers, the earth shot off at a good speed.

"Being able to do that..."

"Damn, didn't know the kid had it in him."

Sir Nighteye and even Rappa was astonished as the earth got close towards the Villain.

He attempted to fire the gun, but the gun was smacked out of his hand and crushed under the earth, so he ran towards the girl, condensing what flames he had in his palm, with Keita touching the ground, and began moving the earth, lifting up the girl on a pillar as he went to shoot off the flames, protecting her, rushing forward at the same time.

Rappa looked rather impressed as Keita moved towards the earth pillar, bringing the girl down, who got beside him.

The Villain turned towards them, the flames that he had, shot off towards them.

Keita raised a wall of earth between them, the flames beat against the earth wall. While protecting her, Keita saw that the man was bringing out a grenade, and launched it towards the fire. Knowing what that could do, he threw his body over the girls to make sure she'd be safe.

She was beyond surprised someone would do this for someone they just met.

However, fortunately, Sir Nighteye took this chance to get in close, using his weighted seal, he hit the grenade up into the air with precise timing, while using his surprising strength to knock the man down to the ground, grabbing his hands, and tied them behind his back.

Keita saw this, relieved, looked down at the girl kindly.

"Are you okay?"

Keita asked kindly, the young woman felt her face turning slightly red. Not just for protecting her, but how he was so close to her as well. Looking over his face, she bit her lower lip.

"G-Geez, that guy was nuts. Using fire, shooting guns, and even grenades, seriously." Keita stood up, offering his hand for the girl. She took it, pulling herself up. "Thanks for the save."

"No, I'm sorry you were in danger."

The girl lightly scratched her cheek.

"N-No, it's alright."

Seeing the interactions between them, Rappa got close, and lightly tapped Keita's back.

"So kid, this your girlfriend?"

""Eeeeeeh?! N-No, we just met!""

The pair replied, both blushing lightly.

Rappa rolled his eyes as the girl jumped back.

"I-I've got to go, thanks for helping me...eeh..."

"Keita, nice to meet you."

"Kei...ta-kun, ni-nice to meet you! Maybe...Maybe we'll see one another again...b-bye!"

The girl bowed once more, and ran off, confusing the young boy.

"How odd, she seemed to be in a hurry...she didn't even tell me her name..."

"Haha, girls can be mysterious alright kid." Rappa bent down to the boy who was panting slightly. "Damn kid, that's quite the power you've got there. Been hiding that, haven't you?"

Keita rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

"I guess, but it's difficult to do that. I had to catch him off guard, and focus in on me. I thought Sir Nighteye-san would also do something, but while he was shooting off fire, he couldn't get close."

"Smart, so you diverted the attention to you so he could get in a clean shot. Kinda makes me want to fight you now."

Rappa praised, as Keita noticed the burns on Rappa's hands.

"Your hands Rappa-san..."

"It's just light burns, it doesn't bother me."

"Still, let me help you."

"No, it's fine-"

"Rappa-san, just let me help you."

Rappa tried to refuse him, but Keita gave him a no nonsense stare, and grabbed his hands insistently, beginning using his Quirk to restore Rappa's hands back to normal.

While that happened, Sir Nighteye's eyes went towards the Villain.

"You're under arrest for attacking that boy and attempted attack on that family. But I have to know...why that boy? Why did you try and harm him?"

"Him? I don't care about him, I care about his damn monster of a brother! I wanted him to suffer! After destroying my clients like he did, he deserves to die!"

"Destroying your clients? What do you mean by that? Simply killing them, right?"

"No...he does more than kill them. He destroys them, taking them apart piece by piece. Killing would be too easy, he makes them suffer. Especially if anyone tries to harm that boy."

Sir Nighteye couldn't believe it.

Glancing at Keita, he saw the boy healing Rappa's hands, astonishing him even more. He thought that it was an Earth Quirk...but, an Earth Quirk wouldn't be able to do that Keita's doing right now.

He knew now that it was an incredible Quirk.

But he also recalled the words the Villain said.

Destroying his clients.

How the boy seemed to not react really to being in pain...

Something wasn't right, so he walked towards Keita and peered into his eyes.

"That was amazing, young man."

At the praise, Keita embarrassingly blushed.

"N-No, it wasn't really, I just took advantage of the situation."

"Still, it was great to see, being able to remain calm in this situation is very impressive for your age. May I ask...why did he target you anyway?"

At that, Rappa knew that it was becoming a dangerous situation, so he took Keita by the arm, and said "It's time to go." Keita also understood, and began to turn…

When Sir Nighteye moved closer to Keita, placing a finger on his chin, staring deeply into his eyes, and used his Quirk, Foresight on the young boy.

He didn't usually like using his Quirk.

But he had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that something wasn't right.

So, in this instance, he used his Quirk to understand anything that he could.

However, when he did…

He saw this boys future, and he was horrified.

He saw, time and time again, Keita's body being destroyed, and rebuilt.

The pain…

The suffering…

The anguish the boy must have felt...

Bile came to Sir Nighteye's throat, who broke out of the vision he saw of Keita, and pulled backwards, clutching his stomach, it was so strong that Sir Nighteye was surprised that he hadn't thrown up at the sight.

But using that chance, Rappa began to run with Keita who glanced back to Sir Nighteye.

"W-Wait, young boy, I just...I just saw what happens to you...don't leave, stay here, I can keep you safe...don't go...you'll...you'll..."

Keita shook his head, with a sad smile on his face.

"Please, don't follow me. It's for your own safety that you don't follow me. Forget about me...okay? You seem...like a nice person, I don't want anything bad to happen to you...so please."

Sir Nighteye didn't like the sound of that, quickly taking out his phone and snapped a picture of Keita who's eyes met with his own.

The young boy then turned around a corner into an alleyway.

Sir Nighteye gave chase.

But by the time that he got towards the corner…

A wall of the earth had been formed, blocking off Sir Nighteye's path, it was so high that it was about the size of two cars stacked upon each other.

There was no way to go around it, Sir Nighteye didn't have a physical Quirk so he couldn't break it, and it was wedged between two buildings that were rather close together.

So he had to scale the wall.

By the time he scaled the wall...

The boy was already gone.

Looking through the crowds, he couldn't see him at all.

Sir looked down at the ground, and tightened his hand.

"Damn it..."

Feeling regret in his heart, he attempted to search for Keita, but try as hard as he could...he couldn't find him at all.

When getting back to the hideout, Kai's eyes angrily stared at Rappa. Rappa himself looked rather calm about the situation, despite Overhaul's overall demeanour, how his anger had been turned on high.

"My brother was placed into that dangerous situation, and you...you stayed there to satisfy your own damn lust for battle."

"First of all Overjerk, that guy attacked, I fought back, I wont walk away from a fight."

"Exactly, my brother was in danger because of you wanting to fight."

"Even if I did, the kid was amazing today."

"That's not what your reason for being here is. I put you here to protect him, and you allowed him to be in the middle of a fight? If he had died..."

"But he didn't."

Kai's eyes sharpened at Rappa, moving closer, while Rappa got into a fighting position.

"It seems that you were the wrong way to go after all. Perhaps I should have picked someone else instead."

Keita watched as Kai got close, his glove fully off, and his fingers heading for Rappa.

Rappa went to swing his fist, but Kai merely dodged out of the way, and went to touch the ground…

When Keita this time beat him too it, touching the ground, causing the earth to uproot, which wrapped around his arm, and force it upwards, Kai's eyes shooting for Keita's own. The boy however looked towards Kai with a strong expression on his face.

"Big brother, don't do it."

"Keita...what are you doing…?"

"I'm stopping you, from killing Rappa-san. He wasn't the reason I was attacked. That man had a vendetta against the Shie Hassaikai, and he targeted me...but, Rappa-san got burned for me, he protected me."

"Keita..."

"So, don't kill Rappa-san! B-Because, I really like Rappa-san! Please...Please don't kill him..."

Hearing the plea of his little brother, Kai's eyes became softer.

"It seems that you've developed an attachment to Rappa."

"Yes...I really like him."

Kai breathed out, overlooking Keita's face, then turned his neck away from him.

"...If you look at me like that, then I guess this time I'll do as you ask. Now, let me go Keita."

Keita saw that Kai was probably not going to do anything, so he let Kai go, knowing that Kai could have gotten out of it if he wished.

Keita watched as Kai placed his glove back on, staring darkly at Rappa.

"This time, I'll let it go...but, if anything happens to him, you're dead."

Kai turned and began walking away.

Rappa flipped the bird at Kai as he left, drawing a small smile from Keita.

Once he was gone, Keita sat down on the couch, while Rappa's eyes went towards him. Rappa moved closer, sitting down beside the young boy, who looked back up towards him.

"Though I didn't need it...thanks for defending me kid."

"What do you mean, didn't need it? He would have..."

"Yes, he probably would have killed me. But that's neither here nor there. But, there's something that I want to ask you." Keita nodded for him to continue. "You're not like him, at all. He's cold, ruthless, and mentally disturbed. You...you're sweet, kind and thoughtful. So...why do you stay here? With him? Your kindness is wasted with a man like Kai Chisaki."

Keita pushed his fingers together several times, trying to search for an answer.

"I've thought about running away before...of course I have Rappa-san. I've even tried it before. But..." Keita's eyes began to produce a few tears, Rappa's face slowly falling. "..when I did try it, he threatened to kill anyone that would help me. I don't want to be the reason people die, innocent people that try to help me...like that Sir Nighteye-san, I know that if he tried to help me...my brother would kill him. Maybe this...All Might I've heard about, could be stronger than big brother...but, one tap, and he's dead...and I couldn't allow someone to die for me. Even if I did manage to escape...I don't have anywhere to go."

"No other family?"

"Not that I know of...my only family is big brother Kai. The Boss is nice to me...but, he doesn't know of what big brother does, and if he did...though big brother looks up to the Boss, I feel as if he wouldn't allow him to get in his way...So that's why, one day, I want to stop him Rappa-san, I hate what he does...he didn't always do these things, it just used to be us...he was kind to me, he protected me, he got hurt for me, he stopped others bullying me, he was there for me...he loved me...but now, he's not the brother I once knew..."

Seeing the sadness on Keita's face, Rappa exhaled slowly.

He felt bad about how he had treated Keita in the beginning, how he had been rude, threatened him, and dismissive.

Rappa breathed in slowly, placing his hand on top of the young boys head, drawing Keita's eyes towards him.

"Listen, I'm sorry for being a jerk, no one's ever been so kind to me like you before, it's really odd, not used to it. Heh, I do like you kid, you make being here bearable."

"Rappa-san..."

"Don't go soppy on me kid. You're selfless for thinking of others, but it's alright to think about yourself, you know?"

Keita tilted his head.

"Think about myself..."

"Yeah, you're a nice kid, you don't belong in the Underworld like this. Until you get away from here, and find somewhere you truly want to be and belong...I'll be your fists, kid."

"Be my fists...?"

"Right, I'm not so good with thinking about things like you are, but I am good at fighting. I'll be your fists, any danger comes around, I'll knock it out."

"Rappa-san...thank you."

Rappa let out a small laughing sound.

He couldn't believe that he was actually saying this.

But Keita...

This boy, he definitely was different to many people he had seen.

After all of the horror he suffered, Rappa could have seen Keita being exactly like Kai, as cold and callous.

But, with the pain he suffered, he gained empathy and sympathy for others. Rappa at least thought that was a hard thing to have in the situation Keita was in, and thought he was rather strong to worry about others.

He respected Keita for a number of things, his drive to become strong, his kindness to even strangers, his unyielding determination to survive.

Even though they weren't alike in any ways really, Rappa and Keita had formed some kind of friendly relationship.

Later that night, Keita sat down in his room, thinking about the days events.

Thinking about what happened with Rappa, with Kai Chisaki, and with the Villain.

But more than that, with Sir Nighteye as well….

While he was thinking about it, the door opened to reveal Kai stepping inside.

He took off the mask around his mouth, indicating that they'd be alone. Although Kai didn't want to breathe the same air as others, he'd breathe the same air as Keita, signifying that despite his cold and callous nature, he genuinely cared about Keita, in his own way.

Kai moved forward, seeing Keita's eyes looking outside.

"It's raining, Keita."

"Yes."

Kai sat down on the bed beside him, wrapping an arm around Keita's shoulder, and pulled him closer.

"I know you're angry at me, but don't worry, I wont do anything to Rappa unless he truly does something wrong." Keita glanced towards him, as Kai offered a small smile. "It's alright, I'm here now Keita. I'll always keep you safe. I was angry because he put you in a situation that could have harmed you, I only wish to make sure you're safe. Keep you away from those diseases out there."

"Big brother..."

"This world, has a disease Keita, and I'll make sure that it is cured. Together, we can rid that disease, and once that old man All For One is finally gone, a new power is going to step up, and that's going to be us."

"..."

Keita couldn't say anything, he didn't know what he could say.

Kai took Keita's hand, peering into his eyes.

"Once we're there, there will be nothing that can stand in our way, Keita. You'll stand beside me, as we cure this world of its sicknesses, together. I'll make sure this world is a safer place for you, my brother. Together, no one can beat us. Not All For One, and not All Might either. They'll be dust in the wind to us. You are the only one that I can trust Keita, the only one I want beside me. The only one that understands."

Keita eyes lowered.

He knew how Kai thought and what Kai would do if he had the chance to actually put his plans in motion.

Seeing that Keita was being quiet, Kai took his hand and placed it on top of Keita's head.

"Get some rest, Keita. Good night, little brother."

Kai quickly turned and left, leaving Keita alone.

His eyes went towards a photo that was on the side of his desk, a picture of himself and Kai at a young age, Keita barely looked five, and it showed Kai giving a loving smile towards Keita who did the same thing back at his elder brother.

"Big brother, your eyes used to hold warmth, and now...that's replaced with nothingness. You're the only family I have... but I can't let you keep hurting others...I'll become strong, stronger to stop you... I wish that maybe one day, you'll return to the big brother that I remember...the one that only wished to be with me, and didn't care about hurting anyone...we'd live a normal life together...but that reality isn't going to happen, I wish it would but it wont...so, I'm going to have to stop you big brother..."

Keita's thoughts were interrupted when he heard a booming sound outside.

It was thunder.

Keita looked out of his window, and saw the heavy rain pouring down.

"One day...I'll become the strongest, and protect everyone...one day, I'll stop you, big brother."

Keita continued to look out into the rain and thought about Sir Nighteye and the other people he interacted with.

Thinking about it, Keita definitely knew that he'd have to get stronger, and be able to be free at last, and perhaps save his elder brother, and if not save, then stop his elder brother from hurting anyone else.

Meanwhile, Sir Nighteye was sat at his desk with the rain pouring outside of his window, hitting the glass in rapid bursts and overlooked the image of Keita he had snapped on his phone.

He felt disheartened that he couldn't find a trace of this boy, it seemed like he didn't exist on any kind of search that he could find.

No school records, no hospital records, he simply couldn't find him at all.

"Come on...there's got to be some kind of record..."

While murmuring that, there was a knock at the door.

Breathing in slowly, he announced "Come inside." to which the door opened, revealing a particularly skinny older man with blonde hair.

"All Might, thank you for coming."

"...Nighteye, if this is about me retiring again then..."

"No...unfortunately you wouldn't listen to me, this is something different." Sir Nighteye took out his phone and showed the picture of Keita to All Might. "This boy, have you ever seen him before? Perhaps at a photo signing or...something else like that? He was looking at your figurine. It's a long shot...so, have you seen this boy before…?"

All Might inspected the young boys features.

"Eeh...no, I can't say that I have. Why did you want to know?"

"Because, this boy is...he needs to be saved."

He revealed to All Might, who looked stunned.

"How do you know..."

"I used my Quirk on him, and saw his future...it was...terrible to say the least. Seeing this boy...I believe I saw him dying, and coming back to life..."

All Might's eyes narrowed considerably.

"You mean, someone is intentionally killing this kid, and somehow restoring him?"

"...I'm not sure how it is done, but I saw it time and time again, seeing this poor kid being killed, and then his body was being restored. I tried to use my Quirk to find out where he was going, but the place he went, I didn't recognize any kind of landmarks, it all looked like several normal streets in different cities across Japan. But I definitely saw this child being destroyed on multiple occasions. I know that we've had a falling out...but, if you see this boy All Might...protect him. Don't let him go. I...I couldn't save him...in fact, he begged me to not follow him...what kind of monster does this to a child, to the point they don't want to be saved?"

All Might had to question that as well.

It sounded terrible to him as well.

"Did you see who it was? If you did then maybe we could locate that person..."

"No, it was too dark to see who was destroying this child, and the person who was with him, had on a mask so I couldn't tell who it was. But I heard from the person that boy captured...he called him a monster that can destroy people, and also called him this boys brother...he's destroying his own brother...I couldn't save him in the end. I had him right in my grasp...but, he got away."

"He said he didn't want to be saved, right?"

Sir Nighteye nodded, but then shook his head.

"...He told me to forget about me, that it was for my own safety."

All Might adopted a light smile, trying to help Sir Nighteye.

"Then, he was protecting you."

"That isn't exactly the point though. I, should have protected him."

"I know your feelings on the matter, when I also have failed in the past, I was down on myself as well. But the situation from what I can gather happened quick, you couldn't have known that he'd try and get away, what kind of power he'd have to use against you. But from what you have said...it sounds like he truly is a good person. He's willing to go through pain, to protect you, a stranger. Doesn't that sound like the heart of a Hero?"

Sir Nighteye had to admit that it did.

But he still felt guilt that he couldn't save Keita in the end, and decided to make it his mission to save this boy.

He didn't care how long it was going to take, he saw Keita being destroyed and put back together as if he was some kind of toy.

That horrified him and also helped him become more determined than before.

He was going to save Keita from this fate.

End chapter!

So, things were intense with Keita's life, but being Overhaul's brother, it was bound to be quite intense. But don't worry we'll be getting light hearted stuff soon, this is to set up Keita's story as he tries to gains different kinds of happiness', learning about his place in the world, and not the place Overhaul has set for him, along with growing stronger both with his Quirk, and convictions, as his journey into becoming a Hero begins.

Speaking of, with Keita being the younger brother of Kai Chisaki, aka, Overhaul, they have a...complex relationship with him. It seems that Overhaul genuinely does care about Keita as seen when he went to protect him from the Villain attack, but at the same time, seems to be alright with using his Quirk to do something to Keita that was partly hinted at in this chapter, but more explained later on.

He also came across Katsuki, and despite her fiery attitude, his time with Overhaul, has given Keita the ability to not be intimidated by most things, something that Katsuki seemed to quite like, and they'll help each other in a number of ways going through the story.

Sir Nighteye came across him by chance, and after seeing Keita's abilities, along with his situation, tried to save Keita, but Keita denied it, knowing that if he tried, Overhaul could kill him instantly, and wanted to protect him.

He also has a relationship Rappa with Rappa acting antagonistic towards Keita in the beginning, but seeing that Keita is a good kid in a terrible situation, yet is also strong willed and pretty strong, gave Rappa some respect towards Keita, and decided to help him at least when it came to fighting.

As for his Quirk, he's got a version of Overhaul, and it does have a number of things it shares with Overhaul the Quirk, it also can do something more than Overhaul can do, what the aspects of his Quirk can do we'll learn in time.

Also, this is gonna be a harem fic, so suggestions are always welcome!

Well, until next time, thanks for reading!
