A Handmaiden's return

Prologue:

It's been fifteen long years since Zhan Tiri was defeated. Fifteen years since she left and a lot of things have happened. Cassandra had finally found what she'd been looking for, her destiny. She now knew who she was and what she wanted to do in life. She now believes in herself and is more confident than ever before. Cassandra is more open to people and happy to make new friends, she still loves to fight and still has this classic sassy-sarcasm in her.

Cassandra is seen as a hero and respected warrior in many kingdoms, she has fought bravely many ruthless Bandits and saved many innocent lives. Her new home is in the Kingdom of Arendelle, she is the new Lieutenant there she and the Queen are great friends too.

But now, it was time for Cassandra to go home, she missed her father, Rapunzel, Eugene and her Kingdom. She and Rapunzel used to write letters to each other every week but that stopped five years ago. Rapunzel never wrote her back anymore and she never learned why. She heard rumors that Corona was in war with the now thriving Histruck Empire but those were only rumors…

Little did Cassandra know, that her greatest battle, was about to begin…

Meanwhile in the Kingdom of Corona

A lot of things had happened in the last fifteen years. A year after Zhan Tiri's defeat Princess Rapunzel gave birth to her first-born daughter, Princess Eden, a few months later she and Eugene got married. Everything was perfect, Rapunzel was truly the girl who had everything, Corona was thriving, she and Eugene were married and she had her little girl too. Their happily ever after had finally come true. Two years after Eden's birth, Rapunzel gave birth to her son, Prince Ian and her little family were complete.

As the years went by, and her children grew, their personalities and traits began to grow as well. Eden the first-born daughter, was a free-spirited child always ready for an adventure, she was a mixture of Eugene and Rapunzel. Eden was curious for the world, always happy to learn new things, she loved fighting and would rather become a guard than a Queen and she was too mature for her age. She also loved to tease her little brother, Ian, she, however, would be an overprotective sister if her little brother got in trouble.

Eden had a close relationship with both of her parents however, she favored her mother more. She was mommy's little girl, Eden would always ask Rapunzel to tell her about the great adventure she had with her daddy, uncle Lance, and aunt Cass, she was always more interested in the adventures her mom and Aunt Cass got into. Cassandra was her idol, she wanted to become brave and strong like her.

Princess Eden's appearance resembled Rapunzel's, but her eyes were from her father and she had long brown hair instead of short.

On the other hand, Prince Ian was the opposite of his sister. Ian was a fine resemblance of his father, the only thing he got from his mom was the green eyes. Ian was closer to Eugene and even had the same personality as him. Ian also loved to hang out with uncle Varian, he was into alchemy and Varian was always happy to teach him. Ian was always arguing with his big sister Eden often calling her demon or Snow Queen due to her cold sarcasm. But deep inside he had great respect and love for her and would always ask her help when he was in trouble.

Yeah, everything in Corona was great, they hadn't seen an enemy in ten years. Rapunzel and Eugene were happier than ever. Rapunzel even kept in touch with Cassandra and was writing to each other every week. Eden was always happy to hear from her favorite Aunt.
However, nothing lasts forever…

Somewhere in the North, a new Empire was rising. The Histruck Empire, it was ruled by savage Vikings who had survived over the years and united their strength under the rule of one man, Kreston, he was known for his unexplained godlike strength, he was a monster, never showed compassion to anyone, if someone disagreed with him it was game over. He was a Tyrant, a Tyrant who wanted to take over the world.

And his first target was the popular Kingdom of Corona. Kreston had fallen in love with the soon to be Queen of Corona. He had heard the stories of how Princess Rapunzel also known as the sun drop had defeated the powerful ancient warlock Zhan Tiri. If he had her by his side, he would be unstoppable.

The war between Corona and Histrick Empire was an easy win for Kreston, he was able to defeat Corona's army in a day he murdered King Frederick, Queen Arianna and Rapunzel's husband Eugene Fitzherbert in front of her with his bare hands. He wanted to murder the kids as well but Rapunzel stopped him, she begged him to spare them by surrendering herself to his mercy. Kreston agreed, after all, he would need an heir.

Once the war ended nothing was the same, Rapunzel had once again become a prisoner at her own home, Kreston would always use her for his pleasures and she had to obey or she would lose the only family she had left, her kids. Needless to say, Rapunzel was devastated and broken, for the first time in her life she had no hope no dreams and didn't even try to fight back. Her relationship with Eden was ruined as well the two would always fight because Eden wanted other things, she didn't want to be Queen and Rapunzel knew that if Eden refused it she would die.

Meanwhile in Old Corona:

Varian who was thought to be dead had formed a rebellion their goal was to take Corona back and free the royal family from the Tyrant. Princess Eden and Ian had joined the rebellion in secrecy. Eden even though she and her mother didn't have the greatest relationship right now she knew that her mother was suffering and she hated that. Ever since her father died, Eden had one goal.

She would find Aunt Cass and take back her kingdom.

This is a new story I had in mind for a while now, this is a Sequel to Tangled the series. Cassandra and Eden are the main characters here so yeah. I hope you like it so far! More coming soon!
