Prologue

A visit to the Botanical Gardens

The Sun shone down on the streets of the Juuban District in Tokyo, Japan, washing it in a brilliant light as a new day had come. Usagi Tsukino, and her friends the Sailor Goddesses were all preparing for a trip to the botanical gardens with Chibiusa at their side. Usagi was young, and had blonde hair tied in twin tails with resembling a pair of buns on her head, wore a whtie blouse with a green hood, as well as a green and purple striped travel skirt, White Socks, and red shoes. The rest of her friends were from the time she fought the wicked Queen Beryl and her lackies known as the Dark Kingdom. They were known as Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Makoto Kino, and Minako Aino; all four were joining her on her visit to the Botanical Gardens.

Beside them were a group of thirteen faces they had known from their previous adventures in facing the Dark Kingdom and the Makai Tree, called the Guardians of Kingdom Hearts, led by their friend from a far off world in the Realm of Light. His name was Sora Lucis Caelum, Son of King Regis, but they all referred to him as just Sora. Alongside him were his trustworthy friends who saw him as a capable leader. Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Xion, Namine, Axel (Although his true name was Lea, but accepted Axel as a suitable nickname), Aqua, Ventus, Terra, and King Mickey Mouse. Donald Duck and Goofy weren't Keyblade Wielders, but they still proved themselves useful in helping Sora defeat the Heartless, Master Yen Sid agreed to let them be Guardians of Kingdom Hearts as well. The royal chronicler Jiminy Cricket also accompanied them with a specially modified device that allowed him to chronicle the events of Sora's adventures with his friends in all the worlds they visited.

On the bus to the Botanical Gardens, Sora was busily listening to Music he had downloaded on his Gummi Phone, while Riku sat with his arms crossed as he saw Chibiusa begging for cookies that Usagi was eating with Luna-P hovering behind the young pinkette. Although Usagi refused, Riku stood up and walked up to them.

"Let her have some Usagi," Riku said calmly, "If she wants Cookies, it's not to be stingy. Greed breeds darkness, and it can also summon the Heartless to our location."

Rei nodded. "You know, Riku does make a valid point Usagi," she agreed with the silver-haired Keyblade Master.

Usagi relented and gave Chibiusa some cookies for her to eat.

"Thank you Riku," Chibiusa said, smiling admirably at her friend.

Riku nodded and chuckled softly under his breath. They had just arrived when they Saw Mamoru Chiba waiting for them. When he heard Usagi's voice, he immediately acknowledged her and Chibiusa with a polite, "Hey."

Chibiusa raced up to Mamoru with Riku smiling calmly, making Usagi realize that he was acknowledging the Pinkette's actions in greeting him. The others watched as Sora walked up and gave Mamoru a high-five. Kairi couldn't help but giggle as she saw her friend greeting Mamoru with a high five, but saw Usagi and Chibiusa were respecting Sora as a friend.

"It's great to see you guys," Mamoru told them.

"Yeah, you too Mamoru," agreed Sora, as he put his hands behind his head.

Rei chuckled to herself.

It feels kind of funny, seeing a part of Usagi and Sora in each other's hearts, she thought.

Terra gently placed his hand on Makoto's shoulder.

"Sometimes we must acknowledge the similarities and differences we share with each other in our hearts," Terra said to the brunette.

Everyone else nodded with Terra's words, and soon began exploring the gardens in all of their glory. Most of the girls thought it was beautiful, but Donald had his doubts. He thought getting a beautiful bouquet of roses would make his dearly beloved Daisy Duck happy, as Goofy walked past a fountain on the cobble stone path. Makoto and Minako sat on a grassy slope looking at the many roses around them.

Maybe I could get one of the guys I like, a beautiful rose that matches the color of my Sailor Venus outfit, the other blonde said to herself.

The rest of their friends were also admiring some of the flowers, but Axel sometimes tended to lag behind as he breathed in the many scents of the flowers in the garden.

"It's so peaceful, it makes me think of seeing more flowers back home at Radiant Garden," He said to himself.

Xion and Namine giggled from behind making him sheepishly rub the back of his head. He decided to explore some more as the rest of his friends were also walking and talking amongst each other.

Inside a greenhouse Sora, Usagi, and Mamoru were looking at a rare flower that had a name on it. These were forget-me-nots: A rare and beautiful flower that was a symbolic representation of love. The three friends looked at it with Sora grinning from ear to ear.
