A/N: Welcome back to Lost! I'm not doing the narrator thing anymore because I no longer see the need to do it unless I'm doing my Dragon Ball work, Change. So yeah, no more of that narrator stuff. I am so happy for your continued support, thank you for reading this story. Anyway, onto the chapter.

Chapter 5: A Strange Feeling

After what felt like days, Zack slowly opened his eyes. A light shined in his eyes, causing him to squint. He was alone, covered in bandages. He hardly remembered what happened. He felt a sharp pain as he tried to stand up. Zack's gaze snapped back to reality as he remembered what had happened. Of course, he had been attacked by one of Hojo's experiments. Blood seeped through his bandages.

Zack felt a strange connection to it, he didn't know why.

(Meanwhile at Shinra Headquarters)

Angeal roared as he shook his cage. Because of his failure, Hojo and the others had stopped feeding him. It had been three days since his last meal. He unsheathed his long, blade sharp claws and scratched the cage bars. He felt his claws slice through cold hard steel. He shoved open the door and rushed out of the room. He had to get to that boy he had hurt. He had a strange feeling about him.

He sighed as memories of when he was a human went over him.

"Once a puppy, always a puppy," Angeal teased.

"Hey, Angeal!" a blurred figure responded with a stomp of his foot. "When did you start calling me a puppy?"

"Just now," Angeal replied with a playful nudge.

The blurred figure laughed and continued to train.

Angeal shook his head, trying to remember the name. This was the first time Angeal had felt any trace of humanity in month, it felt nice. He sniffed the air and recognized the smell of Sephiroth, one of his friends. But he seemed different. Something told Angeal that it was best for him to stay out of his old friend's way. He didn't know why, but he trusted his new senses. A sharp stench hit his nose, it was a smell he knew all too well, blood.

It was coming from Angeal's direction. Letting out a nervous whimper, Angeal ran down the several flights of stairs. He felt nervous each time he went down a flight. He was on the opposite end of a murder trail. Finally, he reached the bottom floor. He sniffed the air and caught a slight whiff of the stale scent. He curled his lip and followed the scent trail as quickly as he could without losing it. He walked through alley way after alley way.

Finally, he reached Sector 7. It was perfectly intact. Angeal growled with relief and made his way through the streets. Angeal followed the scent and was surprised to see the church in the Slums. He recognized the blurred figure this time come to light. He had spikey black hair, white skin and SOLDIER armor. But something else was different, he had bandages all over his body. Angeal slowly padded up to the figure.

That has to be him. It has to be! Angeal thought, his ears twitching. The man wasn't sleeping, he was staring at Angeal, fear mixed in with confusion on his face. Suddenly, shock and realization went over the man's face.

"A - Angeal?!" the figure gasped.

A/N: Yes, this is Zack's mentor, Angeal. Anyway, see you next time! Remember to review favorite and follow!
