She's married Brock, control yourself will ya!

Fun little one-shot given to me by ZXAdvent, the same one who challenged me to Naruto - The Wandering Trainer. Also, think of this as an apology for not being able to put out chapters for other stories. I am working on them, slowly anyway. This writers block and lack of motivation is a real bummer sometimes.

Anyways, I am not the best when it comes to one-shots, so please forgive me when it comes to that. Also, if you could please check out the recent chapter of my Update Book, it will mean a lot to me and will explain some things that I will NOT be putting in chapters to come in other stories

Pairing for this one-shot - Naruto x Professor Ivy. Another rare pairing for you all, as Professor Ivy is hardly seen or heard from in fanfictions. Yes, I do mean Professor Ivy from the Orange Islands.

I don't know what to name the ship, as I am 98% certain that this pairing hasn't been done before. So maybe you can come up with one. So... yeah, enjoy this one-shot and hopefully it is good. Let me know on what you thought about it.

Chapter 1

It was finally the day that Ash was waiting for, after winning the Orange Islands League - the very first important tournament win - he felt that he was a few more steps closer to becoming a Pokemon master. However, he knew that he would need to improve further in order to stand a chance when it came to competing, the battle against Supreme Gym Leader Drake, also known in the islands as the Orange League Champion, had been a close one, and it was up to sheer chance and some luck that he had managed to win.

However, he wouldn't let that fact get him down, he would cherish the win for a long time to come, and allow the feeling of winning will also give him the drive to continue on with his goal.

"Ash!"

"Huh!?" Yelping out the reply, he turned his head and he was met with a sight that made him backpedal lightly, along with his partner, Pikachu on his shoulder to cower in fear.

Ash is a skinny, slender young boy 11 years of age, with wild and spiky black hair, slightly tan skin, and brown eyes with two distinctive lightning bolt-like markings underneath each one. He wore a white and blue short-sleeved jacket with gold trim, a white collar and sleeves, a dark teal T-shirt, blue jeans with light blue cuffs, black and white sneakers with red dots, green fingerless gloves with light green borders, and a red and white cap with a green stylized 'L.'

As right before them, Misty was looking rather annoyed if the bulging tic-mark on her head was anything to go by and the sheer redness that was lighting up her entire body was to go anything by... it also didn't help that she was holding a mallet in her hands either. Where she kept it and pulled it out from, he was still wondering that after an entire year of traveling together.

Misty has short, orange hair tied into a side ponytail with blue hair elastic, she also stands a few inches taller than Ash, which may be due to her slightly older age, or for the fact that he hadn't hit puberty yet. She has rather bright green eyes that could easily convey emotion and fair skin, despite all the time that she has spent in the sun whilst she has travelled with Ash. She wears a yellow tank top that supports her budding breasts, and shows her midriff and belly button, with red suspenders, blue denim shorts that stop at her thighs and red sneakers with yellow lining and white laces.

"Did you not hear anything I just said!?" Misty yelled out, annoyance clear in her voice, and despite being 13 years of age, she did have a rather loud voice, which also completed the tombiyish look that she had going on for her, along with her personality.

"No..." He muttered out, before he prepared himself to be whacked over the head with Misty's mallet that she carried around with her. However, as he peaked his eyes open once again in surprise at not being hit, apparently, that was the time when Mistry struck.

WHAM

"Pika!" The small, yet cute and rather chubby yellow rodent yelped out, as he wasn't expecting the sudden hit as he nearly fell off of his favorite perch, and that was; Ash's shoulder.

"Ow!" Ash cried out, rubbing his head through the fabric of his cap, despite being whacked again out of who knows how many times, it wasn't as painful as the last few times... maybe she was feeling a little more generous when it came to this sort of thing.

"Idiot." She muttered out lowly, her mallet magically disappearing on her person, sighing to herself, she rubbed the bridge of her nose, "Brock wanted us to come by the lab for one last lunch before we head off and bring the GS Ball to Professor Oak." She explained, already having a feeling that Brock was going to try something like he usually does with any girls that he sees with Professor Ivy, and if her hunch was correct, then that wasn't going to be a good thing.

"Uh, where is Tracey anyway? I haven't seen him since yesterday afternoon." Ash wondered, having never actually seen Tracey at all since late yesterday afternoon, he would have thought he returned to the hotel that they were staying at - in seperate rooms of course, Ash still didn't feel comfortable in sharing one hotel room with three others, despite the fact the room they booked had three seperate beds.

"He is already at Professor Ivy's lab." Misty said, before giving a rather sharp look towards Ash, "Did you already forget that he never actually came to the hotel last night? Or where you still off in your own little la-la land after winning?" She pointedly question, jabbing him in the chest lightly with her index finger.

"Oh... I forgot, sorry." Was the ever smooth and somewhat embarrassed reply that Ash had for that statement.

"Pi... ka." Pikachu muttered out, seemingly palming his face with his little paws at the sheer ignorance that his trainer sometimes possessed at the worst of times to ever have it.

Taking a sharp intake of breath that she slowly exhaled through her nose to prevent her from possibly losing more brain cells from this entire conversation, she grabbed him by the arm - with a rather firm grip might she say - and dragged him off towards Professor Ivy's lab, ignoring the small howls of regret and sadness that Ash was putting off for not having breakfast yet, with Pikachu crying out as well.

Not her fault that Ash was rather immature and woke up at the worst of times. He always seemed to sleep in until around lunch time, meaning that he didn't even get to have breakfast most mornings. How he did it constantly and not have the most important meal of the day still eluded her to this day.

Normally, Felina Ivy, otherwise known as Professor Ivy to most, wasn't exactly a bright and cheery morning person, but she was still a much more better morning person than most.

However, today, she woke up at the crack of dawn, excitement bubbling throughout her entire being as sleeping became a challenge in on itself from the news that she recieved late last night, just after she took a shower before heading off to bed.

What made her so excited?

Her fiance - soon to be husband - was coming back from his trip from the Kalos region! Of course, it made her excited to know that her precious Naruto was coming back to her after so long. What had been expected to be a three month trip and journey to some places that tickled his fancy, it had turned into a trip that had lasted nearly a year, as he was caught up in some things and had apparently been working with Professor Sycamore.

If she was being honest with herself, she was surprised to know that Naruto proposed to her. All of her life, she knew that she wasn't the most prettiest or even the most sought after girl, she was rather nerdy when it came to Pokemon and she wanted to know the full extent on why they acted the way they did sometimes under different climates and circumstances. Sure, she also didn't have the best physical appearance to other women, and she wasn't that much of a social one outside of a small range of her friend group. It was a hit to the self-esteem and confidence when she was in her late teens when absolutely no one would pay any special attention to her or even ask her out when she was in social events that her friends dragged her to.

She even mentally prepared herself for being alone for most of her life, maybe finding someone to be with when she was past her prime and heading into her later years. However, that changed when Naruto came into play.

Now, she was only weeks away from becoming Felina Uzumaki, the wife of Naruto Uzumaki.

She had spent a while planning on who will be invited to the wedding that they were having. It wouldn't be that big or fancy, but it will be smaller and allow for her and Naruto's closer friends and family to arrive and be apart of the celebration. She already had her wedding dress bought and modified to her liking, even her bridesmaids had their dresses picked out and prepared for the big day.

She still remembered the very first time that she met him, and it was a day that she would never forget.

FLASHBACK

It was supposed to be another simple day for Felina. As it was one of the days where she actually didn't have to do much, apart from looking after some of her own Pokemon that were by the section of the beach she owned, as it was part of the land that she bought for her lab, which also doubled as her home for how large it was.

So as she was garnered up in her tight one-piece swimsuit that clung to her figure, she walked herself to the beach, as there was no point in taking any transport there as it was only a couple of dozen feet away from the lab. Plus, she also liked the excercise and enjoying the nature of the island.

She found some modes of transportation bad, as it ruined the enviroment and caused for deforestation when people had the need to build more roads for the modes of transportation.

Stepping onto the beach that was apart of her property, she allowed a small smile to grace her face as she felt the sun beaming down upon her and her skin.

It was just one of those days that there were no dark clouds about in the sky, only a few lighter colored ones that were completely harmless and some of them even formed patterns in the sky that people liked to point out and let their imagination flow from it.

"Gra~"

Blinking in confusion as she heard her Gyarados in the distance, a Pokemon that is normally rather quiet for its species. She turned her head and squinted her eyes to try and see further in the distance.

She saw someone on top of another Pokemon further out in the ocean, and that someone was nearing her Gyarados. Of course, seeing a total stranger approaching one of your Pokemon would cause a reaction, and her reaction caused her to run over towards the edge of the water and whistle a rather special call that only her Pokemon would be able to pick up and understand.

She needed to be quick, as if this was a thief and her Gyarados somehow managed to gain trust for this person, that might mean that Gyarados would be an easy target for the theif.

It didn't take that long after she had done her little special signal for one of her Pokemon to show up, as it was shown when the water started to ripple and part like something was tearing it apart.

"Cloy?"

The Pokemon that showed up after her call was her Cloyster, it wasn't exactly her Pokemon, as it wasn't anyones, it was just a Pokemon that she had befriended during her time and it decided to stick around in the area, not that she minded.

Cloyster is actually a black pearl within two shells. The first shell is purple and rugged, while the second shell is gray. When the second shell is opened, a spike is revealed. Its face has a cruel look upon it.

"Cloyster, could you please take me to Gyarados? I have a feeling something bad is happening." She said, gently rubbing the rough outer shell of the Pokemon.

"Cloy!"

Smiling as she watched the Pokemon spin around and place one of the two shells under the water - meaning that the Pokemon was sideways, she gently hoped onto it's shell. Despite it being a rather rugged and hard shell, she didn't want to accidently hurt it.

As the Pokemon felt Ivy in a comfortable position and grabbing onto it's spike, it zoomed forward at speeds that would surprise many that didn't know of Cloyster's speed within the water. The way it travelled was also interesting, as it was using it's two shells to clamp and unclamp to create momentum, and using itself to steer itself with the help of either the current or waves that were nearby.

It didn't take long for Cloyster to make her way - she knew it was a female thanks to the height of the Pokemon, instead of it being 4'11 like normal, instead, it was shorter and was only 4'7 and weighed less. Also the way Cloyster acted was distinctly female. Don't ask Ivy how she knew, she just called it womans intuition.

Coming to a halt, she was met with a sight that indeed interested her, and made the lingering fear within her heart quelled to a minimum.

In front of her, was her own Gyarados - which was also female - was acting like something akin to a Growlithe when it got some special attention with pats and rubs, which was rather odd for the ferocious Pokemon that could cause mass damage if it went on a rampage. It was also making small cooing roars - an odd contradiction there - and had her eyes closed in absolute bliss.

Speaking of her Gyarados, there was indeed someone giving her some special attention. Turning her attention to the person, she was momentarily taken aback by not only the appearance of the male, but also what type of Pokemon he was resting on.

The male seemed to be around her age - not that she likes to think about, but she was in her early twenties - and he had a nicely tanned skin tone - almost peach-like in color - and had a somewhat rounded face. He also has sun-kissed yellow-blonde hair that was rather spiky and messy, which also seemed to shine under the sunlight - and seemed to be dripping from either the saliva from her Gyarados or from the ocean water that splashed up. From what she noticed as well, he had bright blue eyes that were rather easy to look at. The most interesting feature on his face however, was that he three whisker-like markings, three on either cheek.

He was also wearing a long-sleeved, skin tight rashie shirt that was mainly black in color, but had some orange highlights around the sides, along with wearing some simple black board shorts. He definately did have a surfers build, or possibly even a swimmers build from what she could see from her angle.

All in all, he looked rather handsome and exotic, and because she has never seen anyone like this from the Orange Islands, she presumed that he was from somewhere else, and judging from his frame and his tanned skin, maybe the Hoenn region.

However, it was the Pokemon that he was riding on was what surprised her, as not only were the species of Pokemon extremely rare, but also were very picky when it came to those it revealed themselves to.

The Pokemon is an elegant, sinuous Pokémon that resembles a sea serpent or oarfish. Its body is predominantly cream in color, while its fanlike tail comes in various shades - particularly of blue and magenta - that change upon the viewing angle. It has long red 'hair' and curled red eyebrows that embellish its endearing and beautiful crimson eyes.

This Pokemon was Milotic, which had been dubbed by many around the world as one of, if not the most beautful Pokemon of the entire world.

Shaking her head from those thoughts, she noticed that the person who was still petting her Gyarados had still not noticed her presence, so she decided to change that.

"Ah-hem."

Clearing her throat in a way to garner his attention, she was suddenly met with his bright blue eyes and the Milotic's red eyes meeting her own, and it made her feel a little awkward, however, that feeling soon washed away with a sense of calmness thanks to Milotic's ability to calm someone down with a mere look from it.

"Oh, hello." He greeted out, waving slightly. It was easy to tell that he was a little surprised by her sudden appearance.

"Hello." She greeted back, "I do wish to tell you that you are on private property, and I came to check on what you were doing here with my Pokemon." She further stated, while it wasn't exactly true that the Gyarados wasn't hers per se, it was just easier to put a little more unease with the offending person.

"Oh." He spoke out, glancing around before noticing that his Milotic had indeed crossed the little threshold that seperated the property on the hill with the rest of the ocean, "I'm sorry. I didn't notice, I thought we were still further away." He apologised to her, looking down at his Milotic, he gently rubbed the back of her neck, "Hey, girl, could you please back up slightly." He asked gently.

Felina watched as the Milotic didn't even make any attempt to ignore the trainer, and instead, moved back a few feet - which didn't take long since the Pokemon was so long - and moved back over the threshold that seperated her property from the rest of the ocean, "Thank you." She said, "May I ask what you were doing?" She questioned, wanting to know more but not push anything that didn't need to be said.

Shrugging his shoulders, she watched as the man seemed to relax a little, whilst still giving Gyarados an appreciative look from afar, "I was just letting Milotic out for a little swim, then the Gyarados caught our attention, I must say, she is a beautiful one, and is very sociable." He said, not only explaining the reason as to why he was here, but also complementing her on the way she raised Gyarados.

Feeling a rush of warmth spread to her cheeks, she fought down the urge to giggle like a school girl. She was above that, and she was definately more mature than that, "Thank you, your Milotic looks great too." She said.

Giving a rather large and infectious smile - one that she couldn't help but return lightly - he scrached the back of his head, whilst also scratching Milotic under the chin, getting it to coo out at the feeling, "Thanks. I make sure to keep every Pokemon of mine in top shape."

Felina felt the respect for this stranger grow another notch in her book, not only was he kind and didn't panic when she finally made herself known, but he was also cooperative and even treated his Milotic like she did with her Pokemon.

It might be the start of something for the both of them, but Felina didn't want to jump to anything yet, she would just see where it took her naturally.

END FLASHBACK

Shaking her head from those thoughts, she couldn't help but smile at the thought of her once again being within Naruto's strong arms, being cuddled and smooched on the forehead like he usually does whenever he had the chance - and whenever they weren't in the mood to have some other fun... she really did blame her assistants sometimes.

Looking out the window and seeing as how the sun was not even close to it's highest peak in the sky, it did mean that she still had some morning left, it still meant that she could try and get some breakfast in and hopefully avoid Brock.

Don't get her wrong, she didn't hate Brock nor his traveling companions, in fact, quiet the opposite really - although what she was wearing the day she met them at the beach was rather embarrassing.

It was just the fact that Brock seemed... keen in getting to know her more closely... and it did disturb her slightly at the same time as it flattered her for the fact that someone as young as Brock, who was most likely in his mid to late teens have an interest in her, however, she was already taken and to be married soon. A fact that he most likely hadn't picked up yet.

It wasn't that hard to pick up on, she did have a ring on her ring finger, and she had plenty of photographs of herself and Naruto around the lab. Maybe he was just hoping that they were just friends and the ring was something that she picked up because she liked.

Sighing to herself, she went over towards the full length body mirror that was located in the corner of her shared room with Naruto and looked herself over.

She wasn't a very tall woman, standing roughly 5'5 compared to Naruto's height of 5'10, meaning that she had to stand on her toes to even give him a little smooch on the lips when she felt like it. She had lightly tanned skin that came from all the time she spent outside with her water type Pokemon and had some deep purple hair - her natural hair color mind you - and something that annoyed was that she always had rather droopy brown eyes that always made her look tired no matter what.

She knew that it was another thing of hers apart from her nerdy science personality that lost many points with others, and that was how her eyes were shapped. It wasn't anything wrong with them, it was just how they were, and she had come to terms with it and she just now thought that it was something that made her more unique compared to other women.

It was also known that she wasn't a huge fan of makeup, as it seemed that women were trying to force their beauty out for others rather than having others get to know the real them, the 'all natural' them.

For this day, she was wearing something that was more modest and less revealing than what she would normally wear when she knew that there were others around and it wasn't just her and Naruto. As she was just wearing a salmon colored top that hugged her chest rather well - she was proud of her high C-cup breasts - along with having her white lab coat over the top of it, to top it all off, she had a pretty necklace around her neck that had a small blue gem on it - a gift from Naruto for their one year anniversary - along with wearing a black skirt that ended at her lower thighs along with a simple pair of light pink shoes.

KNOCK

KNOCK

"Professor Ivy? Are you hear?"

Sighing to herself once again as she heard the distinctive, nasally voice of Ash Ketchum, she knew that it was time to head downstairs and into the lab portion of the home that she had.

She did promise that they would have one final lunch together with his group before they headed back for mainland Johto. After all, it wasn't everyday that someone knew actually completed the Orange Island challenge, let alone beat the Orange Island Champion - something that hadn't been done in nearly six years now.

Gently grabbing the small bronze engagement ring from the desk near the mirror, she slipped it onto her right ring finger before fixing her clothing up from any creases or wrinkles before heading off towards downstairs.

After being let into the lab by Professor Ivy, Misty and Ash once again being inside of the Professor lab, it was still a little surprising with how... empty it was, and when there were notes and some of that stuff strewn about, it was actually rather tidy and neat, unlike Professor Oak's lab which was messy and it was a nightmare to be in for whoever had OCD.

Ash being Ash, he went straight to where the scent of food was coming from, as he hadn't eaten at all during the morning, and since it was getting close to lunch time, he wanted to get some of the food first. It might be snacks, but it was something to fill his seemingly bottomless pit he called a stomach.

Misty on the other hand, she went to find Tracey, despite the short amount of time that they had known him, he already gave off a mature vibe to him, sure, he was childish at times, but he wasn't as reckless as Ash nor was he a constant flirt who she needed to keep an eye on at all times like Brock, instead, he was someone who liked to be with Pokemon and sketch them. Being someone who wanted to be an artist and capture the beauty of Pokemon through drawings and paintings was rather odd, but it was something that was unique to the many people in the world.

Glancing out of one of the many windows the placed seemed to have that allowed one to look into the backyard, Misty found the person she was searching for, and he seemed to be lost in his little drawings of the rather large pond the place had in the backyard.

Opening the door, Misty made her way over to the new companion and friend that Ash had made during the short amount of time they were here, "Tracey." She called out, hoping to get the artists attention.

"Hmm? Oh, Misty." Tracey called out, placing down his sketch book and pencil and turned to face her. It was a respectful thing to do, even if he were to lose the exact pose the Goldeen was performing right now. He still had a general idea of it.

Tracey was around the same height as her, give or take a few inches and was even around the same age as her, he wore a short-sleeved, green shirt with a darker green border on it, dark red shorts, a headband which was orange in color that kept his dark green hair out of his eyesight, white short-socks, an orange backpack, and tennis shoes colored purple and bright orange, if one were to look carefully, they could see the white soles of said shoes as well.

"Good morning, how was your sleep from the celebration last night?" Misty questioned, wanting to ease into things and try and get to know the new traveling companion better.

Shrugging his shoulders, Tracey briefly looked towards the sky before bringing his attention back down to her, "It was alright. I think I was nearing a food coma from the amount I ate last night. I didn't realise I worked up that much of an appetite cheering." He said, chuckling lightly as he remembered the feeling that he had when he woke up.

It felt like he couldn't even eat a single thing more, otherwise he might've exploded.

"Sometimes it does cause an appetite, especially when it concerns Ash. Always got to be careful with that." Misty joked, knowing what he was going through well. The last time she was that famished, it had been during the Indigo League.

Blinking a few times as he suddenly remembered something, he suddenly asked, "Hey... have you seen a difference with how Brock has been acting?" His voice was slightly curious as he asked the question.

He still could remember the few times that he acted very weirdly, and from what he was told from Ash and Misty, it wasn't exactly like Brock to be like that after a rejection - which was farely common for the man - but seriously, some of the things he was doing were seriously whacky.

FLASHBACK

Coming to a halt as he heard some odd noises happening from within the backyard of the lab, Tracey being Tracey was concerned, he was worried that one of the many Pokemon had gotten hurt or was causing some problems for the others, and since Professor Ivy and her assistants were busy, he decided that he would check it out and see if he could help.

So when he walked through the door leading to the backyard of the lab, he was met with a sight that dumbfounded him.

He saw Brock oozing a depression from his very being as he heard some soft mutterings escaping his mouth that was incomprehendable since he was so far away.

Although, what Brock was doing was another point of concern for Tracey, as it turned out Brock had somehow managed to get a wooden table from inside the lab, and it looked rather old and worn so it must have been one of the spares that were scattered around the place, and he was slamming his head against it repeatedly whilst muttering some things, with some of the mutterings being strong enough to get caught and he was able to pick them up.

Repeated use of the words 'damnit' and 'stupid' were the most common. He was sure that there were other words thrown in, but they sounded foreign... maybe they were Kantonese words.

"Uh, Brock, are you alright?" He questioned, finally making his presence known.

It took but a split moment for Brock to turn his attention from repeatedly slamming his head against the wooden table - which definately wasn't healthy - and towards him. The very first things that he noticed from the normally cheerful man was the fact that his brown skin was a weird mixture of its regular color, and a deep red from the amount of times he smacked his head. Tears were falling from his slanted eyes and his nose was dripping small amounts of blood, along with some mucus escaping as well, making a rather foul mixture of fluids.

Brock's most notable feature is that his eyes appear to be closed all the time, yet he could see perfectly fine, in fact he could see better than Ash and Misty. He also has spiky brown hair and tanned skin, notably darker than anyone else that Tracey had seen before. He wore a simple orange t-shirt, a lime green cargo vest with four pockets - two on either side - a dark brown belt with a gold buckle, brown jeans with dark red pockets, and blue-gray sneakers with white trim on them.

"Yeah, perfect." Brock said, his voice was rather shaky and choppy, another tell tale sign that he had been crying - other than the tears that were streaming down his face.

"Do... do you want an ice-pack for your nose?" He asked, gesturing at his nose.

Brock made an odd noise that sounded between the mixture of a hum and a grunt, before he placed one of his fingers under his nose before pulling it away, "Oh, yeah that might be nice." He said as he looked at the slime and blood that was on his finger. Grimacing at the sight, he rubbed his finger along the side of his brown pants, getting rid of most of the fluids on his finger.

Blinking a few times at the odd behaviour, Tracey turned around with a concerned look on his face, "Well... I guess you can wait here, I'll be back in a few moments... don't do anything stupid again." He said before making his way back inside, leaving Brock to his devices outside for him to hopefully calm down and enjoy the sunshine.

FLASHBACK END

Sighing to herself, it was just one of those things that couldn't be held in, especially when it came to Brock the woman 'Charmer', when did he realise that doing the thing he did not only was somewhat creepy, but it was also very uncomfortable when it does happen. She was just lucky she didn't have one of those, otherwise he would have had a much more intimate experience with her trusty mallet, "He has gained a crush on Professor Ivy, however, what he doesn't know or probably is trying to ignore is the fact that she is married already."

There was an awkward moment of silence that passed by the two, with the only real sound that broke the silence was the fact the pond had Goldeen and other small Pokemon splashing around happily in the crystal clear water.

"You... didn't know that either?" She questioned in disbelief. Seriously? How could one not notice the signs of a married woman! Did they not see the photographs? Did they not see the ring that was on Professor Ivy's ring finger?

Sometimes she wondered if guys actually paid attention to the finer details when it came to this sort of thing.

"Uh... I actually didn't know that either." Tracey muttered out, a light blush on his face as he scratched the back of his head as he chuckled nervously.

Trying to avoid palming her face at this, she took a small intake of breath before exhaling, trying to not lose control of her short temper - something that had gotten somewhat worse with constantly dealing with Ash and 'loverboy', "Well, it's true. Professor Ivy is married, or at the most, engaged, meaning that Brock is crushing on someone who is not only off the market, but is also not interested in him." Misty pointed out.

While she did feel bad for Brock on this occassion, it was still wrong to even attempt at flirting or trying to charm someone who was already married. She thanked whatever was holy above that the fiance or husband wasn't around during the time they were here. Hearing the constant attempts at wooing Professor Ivy had been an annoyance, and for the fact that Brock seemed to not get the hint was also something that was lighting her fuse to her short temper even further.

"Right... but if that is the case, I wonder where her significant other is?" Tracey couldn't help but wonder, since the time he had been with the group and the amount of times they had visited Professor Ivy they hadn't seen anyone that could be her significant other. Even yesterday afternoon when the small party was happening, there was no sign of anyone new at the celebration.

"He could be doing something important, maybe in another region." Misty said, after a few moments of thinking. From what she remembered from seeing from the photographs he looked to be one that liked to hit the beaches with a surfboard or with his Pokemon and just enjoy his time out on the ocean.

Maybe he entered a competition that was in a different region. She just didn't know, she didn't know the man personally.

"Misty, Tracey! Lunch is ready~"

Hearing one of the three assistants speak out, the silence that was between the two was shattered, with both of them breathing a sigh of relief for having to avoid another one of those moments again. It also didn't help that the fragrence of the food managed to drift through one of the open windows that was located near the kitchen.

The food smelled divine, even from outside, and they couldn't wait to try some for themselves.

Misty had to will herself in order not to drool at the sight of the lunch that had been prepared for them - a final lunch before they all left for Kanto once again - while it wasn't that much of a fancy lunch, it certainly smelt amazing and looked amazing to go with it.

It just proved that nothing could ever beat a home-cooked meal.

As she was about to help herself to a plate of the fresh salad that had some dip for the carrot sticks, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed that Brock was looking at Professor Ivy once more, a blank look on his face, but his entire demeanor was so much different to what it normally was. She sighed to herself, before grabbing onto Brock's ear and pulled him towards herself.

Thankfully, the yelp that Brock did was unnoticed by the other occupants as they were either busy eating - Ash and Pikachu - or conversing with each other, "Brock, please, control yourself. She is a married woman." She nearly hissed out in annoyance.

Why did Brock have to get a crush on someone that was married, and yet no matter how she tried, she just couldn't get him off of it.

Feeling Brock slump within her grip along with let loose a small sigh of defeat, he turned to her, "I... know. I was hoping against hope." He muttered out, the sheer tone of defeat in his voice made her almost feel bad about this situation, "It's just... I actually feel... connected to her in a sense." He whispered out once again, looking down at his lap as he clenched his fists.

"Brock..." Misty murmured out. She didn't know about that, normally when Brock went on this little tangent whenever he saw a female, he would be rejected once, he would whine and moan about it, but a minutes later he would be over it like nothing ever happened. However, this was something else, and he actually felt something within him about her.

"I know... I saw the photos and everything... but I still had some hope, but seeing the ring on her finger, it only solidified the fact." He spoke out, shaking his head and taking a deep breath to calm himself down. There was no point in having an emotional outburst to ruin this lunch that Professor Ivy and her assistants had made as a final goodbye for them before they left.

Feeling her heart clench at his plight, Misty couldn't offer anymore words to him, and instead, just opted to gently pat him on the back, as a way of reassurance that everything would be alright and for him to enjoy the lunch in front of them, "Brock, maybe you felt something, however, that doesn't mean that you won't feel it again. Maybe you need to find the right person, the one who was meant for you. Love is just weird that way." She said, gently rubbing his back once more. She felt like she could understand Brock on a certain level with this, after all, she did feel the same way about a certain raven-haired trainer in the group, "It might happen next week, maybe next month, maybe even years for now, just don't give up and continue being you." She added on.

Apparently her words were enough for Brock to cheer up lightly, as he turned to her with a small smile on his face, "You know, you can be rather mature about things like this." He said, chuckling lightly at the way her entire demeanor shifted into one of annoyance, however, he quickly brought his hands up to placate her ire, "Thank you though. I appreciate it, maybe she wasn't the right one for me."

Feeling most of her ire dim down, Misty offered one more smile before finally digging into the lunch in front of her.

Oddly enough, she too felt some form of comfort from it, even though she was the one giving it to Brock - hopefully, anyway. One can never be too certain about this sort of emotional impact.

(Sorry about this, it seems as though the linebreaks have stopped working... I don't know why.)

Felina Ivy stood at the docks with her assistants nearby, watching as the ship had finally departed from the bay and headed towards the Kanto region.

As she gazed at the back of the ship where Ash and his friends were located, all giving their final goodbye shouts and waves as they were slowly inching further and further away until they were mere dots on the ship in the distance, only then did Felina stop waving herself and turned to face her assistants, all of whom had sad smiles on their faces.

It was obvious to her that they had become friends with the group and they were sad to see them leave, but that was life sometimes. You just had to say goodbye to things, or if you didn't want to say goodbye, then it was a mere 'See you later' type of thing.

"Felina, it's going to be rather quiet from now on isn't it?"

One of her assistants asked, it was also easy to hear the sadness in her voice as she tore her gaze away from the ocean and onto her.

Tittering lightly, she gave a smile towards her before answering, "Maybe, however, I am sure something else will happen in due time. After all, Naruto is coming back soon, I'm sure he will have plenty of stories to tell us about his time in the Kalos region."

Blinking in confusion as none of her assistants had actually gave any verbal reply, she looked towards them and was confused as she saw their expressions, she was about to ask what had happened when she heard a voice that she had missed so much.

"Well, since you asked so nicely, I guess I can."

Turning so fast on her heels that it looked like she might have broken her ankles, Felina felt her heart race and felt her voice die in her throat as she saw her fiance for the first time in nearly a year.

Sure, they had talked to each other during the time period he was away, but nothing could ever compare to being with him again in person.

"Naruto!" She called out in joy, before she raced towards the edge of the docks and leapt into the air, not even afraid that she would fall into the ocean. She knew she wouldn't as Naruto would pluck her from the air and place her into his strong arms once more.

She was right.

Being plucked from the air and brought into his body once more, she allowed herself to relax into the warmth his body produced. As she was shifted, she looked down and saw the distinctive signs of his Milotic's beautiful scales gleaming in the afternoon sun and the beautiful red eyes being reflected from the clear ocean water, "I missed you so much." She whispered out, shifting herself so she her legs were wrapped around his waist, she wrapped her arms around his back and gave him a small smooch on the lips, relishing in the feeling that she couldn't feel in nearly twelve and a half months.

"I know, darling. I missed you as well." He whispered out, placing a smooch on her head as she leaned back from the kiss, "You were right. I do have many stories to tell from my time in Kalos, I even got each one of you a present." He spoke out, before tapping on his Milotic for her to lower them downwards so they could hop back onto the dock without risk of injury.

"Really?" One of the assistants spoke out, her eyes sparkling in happiness at the thought of having a gift from another region. She had always wanted to go to the Kalos region, as it was called the region of love, however, she was still saving up for the ticket and having enough left over to be able to live there without having some fear about having no money to buy any things she might have wanted.

"Thank you!" The other two called out, equally as excited about the prospects of having a gift for them. Like the other, they too were saving up, and sadly, the Kalos region was rather expensive due to how far away the region was from the Orange Islands.

"Dear, having you back with me is enough of a gift to last a lifetime." Felina muttered out, snuggling into the side of Naruto as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder to keep her balanced properly.

"I know. I just wanted to spoil my soon-to-be wife and her gorgeous assistants." Naruto spoke out with a smile, before returning his Milotic into her Luxary Ball for her to rest. She did just swim a few kilometers as Naruto wanted to surprise his finace rather than having her spot him come off the ship that the previous group went on.

With that, Felina Ivy felt complete once again, being in the embrace of her fiance and within the presence of her best friends and assistants. Things would be much more better, and even better on the wedding day when they can finally be with each other for the rest of their lives, and maybe even start a family of thier own.

END STORY

Alright guys, I hope you enjoyed this little one-shot. Like I mentioned earlier, I am not that great with one-shots, so I will try to improve upon them. Let me know what you thought of it, and like I mentioned earlier, think of this as an apology for not being able to update my other stories due to this roller coaster that is my motivation levels and from the slight writers block that I have.

I must say however, using Professor Ivy or Felina Ivy was definately a challenge, and I feel like she is probably one of the most underused characters in Pokemon fanfictions, and she is rarely seen or even heard from in any fanfictions. I also tried to make Brock not look like he was a massive creep with his constant flirting and constant advances.

I hope this was to your liking ZXAdvent, sorry I didn't use the full idea/basis of the one-shot, I was just going with the flow of things, so some of things may be different, but I felt like it had a better flow using this rather than using what you wanted.

Make sure to check out my other stories if you haven't already, and I want to point this out, I am finally writing another chapter for Naruto's Hazbin Hotel Adventures, along with trying to create more chapters for the other challenges that I have gotten, which are Wandering Trainer, Galar's Spiral and Team Skull's Mascot.
