A bright white light appeared and faded after a few moments. At the spot of the light a body of a teenage boy appeared. This boy was wearing a bright orange jumpsuit. He had bright yellow hair and 3 whisker marks on his cheeks. It was none other than Naruto Uzumaki. Overlooking him, two voices were having a conversation.

"This was not supposed to happen to the Child of Prophecy. He was supposed to get hit in the lung not the heart." said the first voice.

"What can be done to remedy the situation?" asked the second voice.

"We have to revive him somehow. Without the Child of Prophecy the future of the world is doomed." said the first voice.

"The rules state that we cannot revive him in the same plane in which the death occurred." informed the second voice.

"Exactly, we cannot revive him in the same plane. But, we can revive him in another plane then." countered the first voice.

"And what would be the benefit. It's not like he can hop across dimensions. So him reaching Elemental Nations would still be an impossibility." asked the second voice.

"Yes, but we don't have any other option. Leaving the soul and body of the Child of Prophecy to be used by someone like Orochimaru would be catastrophic. Also maybe he can pioneer some new technique which would help him reach Elemental Nations." said the first voice.

"Him, the greatest knuckle headed hyperactive ninja. Pioneering a technique to hop dimensions. What are you smoking and where can I get that?" asked the second voice sarcastically.

"There's no need to be sarcastic. That is the reason I called you here. I was thinking of removing his memories. If we do that he may have the ability create a dimension hopping technique, but how can we ensure that he tries to go back to Elemental Nations." said the first voice.

"What gives you the confidence that he may create a dimension hopping technique if we remove his memories?" asked the second voice.

"His father was able to recreate a space time technique. In an environment where his growth is not stunted he may develop such an intellect. However, his present experiences has thoroughly suppressed his intelligence. The only time he does something brilliant is when his life is in danger. In other times he goes back to being the bloody idiot. So removing his memories may help him gain the thirst for knowledge." huffed out the first voice.

After thinking the second voice said "Okay, so there is a chance he may develop a dimension hopping technique. But for it we need to remove his memories which in turn takes away his reason to create such a technique."

"Exactly it's a Catch 22 situation" muttered out the first voice.

"What if we suppress his memories for a few years say 5 years. Once such a period passes he may have matured enough" exclaimed the second voice

"That is a good idea. This may be the solution that I was looking for" replied the first voice.

"So have you decided which plane to revive him in" asked the second voice

"I was thinking of sending him to Earthland. The violence compared to Elemental Nations is less but he will face sufficient challenges to mature into the Child of Prophecy. Also the connection between Edolas & Earthland may provide him motivation to work on his own dimension hopping technique." replied the first voice.

The second voice asked "But that again would be a problem, as Chakra is different from Ethernano. Without knowing how to use or training Chakra how could he fight in Elemental Nations if he manages to come back. Additionally we also don't know if his body could accept Ethernano."

After thinking for some time the first voice started slowly "What if instead of only suppressing his memories we also create a false set of memories. We can also add chakra exercises and jutsus in those false memories. Once 5 years have passed we can add this conversation so that he can identify between the fake and original memories. This will also give him additional motivation to get back to Elemental Nations" ended the first voice confidently

"That was well thought out. Okay, so I will help you to create a seal for his memories. In the meanwhile you prepare the ritual to send him to Earthland" said the second voice.

"Thanks for your help." said the first voice

Once the ritual was prepared the two beings applied the memory seal on Naruto. After the seal was applied on Naruto, he was placed inside the ritual circle. Both the beings supplied their power to the circle. A brilliant yellow light erupted blinding them momentarily. The light faded away taking with it the body of Naruto. The first voice was heard saying "Good luck, Naruto Uzumaki."

For the first time in the last 3 weeks, Romeo Conbolt is happy. Romeo is a 6 year old boy and the child of the 4th Guild Master of Fairy Tail Macao Conbolt. Even though he is the child of the guild master, he is very sad how that came out to be. The core members of Fairy Tail had gone to Tenrou island for the S-Class promotion test. However an attack by Acnologia on December 16, X784 destroyed the whole island taking along with it all the members of Fairy Tail present there. It was a heart breaking loss for the remaining members of Fairy Tail.

The reputation of Fairy Tail plummeted due to the loss of it's strongest members. In the haste to reorganize the guild, his father had been selected as the Guild Master. This has lead to Romeo not being able to spend time with his father during the last 3 weeks. The sadness of not being able to see his friends again and not getting comforted by his father was very tough for Romeo. However, today his father was able to take out some time and was going to teach him magic.

Macao was happy seeing the happiness on his son's face. The last 3 weeks had been catastrophic for the guild and he foresees many such days for the guild. But today he was able to make some time for his son. While thinking he was interrupted by his son

"Dad, what magic are you going to teach me today?" asked an excited Romeo

"I am going to teach you my speciality Purple Flare it is a type of Fire Magic. But before all this do you remember what Master Makarov taught us in Fairy Tail?" said Macao

"Yes Dad I remember. Any power that surpasses reason still comes from reason, right? Magic isn't some kind of miraculous power. It is a talent that only works when the flow of energy inside of us, and the flow of energy in the natural world are in perfect synchronization. To perform magic, one must have a strong mind and the ability to focus. It shall take over your being and poor over your soul! If all we do is worry about rules, then our power will never the path you believe in! 'Cause that's what makes the Fairy Tail guild number one!" recited Romeo

"Wow you remembered all that but, do you understand what he meant by that Remeo?" asked Macao

"Yes Dad, to perform magic I must have a strong mind and believe in my own path. But Dad, I don't know about my path" asked Romeo

"Don't worry Romeo, you will understand it later. Come we will go to that clearing where I will help you unlock your magic power" said Macao

"YAY! Magic at last" shouted Romeo and he started running towards the clearing.

"Romeo calm down. You may fall and hurt yourself" shouted Macao while running after his son.

Romeo turned around and said "But Dad, it's magic…."

Just as Romeo was saying a brilliant yellow light appeared in the sky followed by the sound of thunder. Like lightning the light fell on the clearing and flashed momentarily blinding both Romeo & Macao. Macao scared for his son started running towards him and was able to hug him before the light had flashed.

"Dad, what was that?" asked Romeo.

"I don't know. But it sure looked like Laxus's magic" said Macao.

"Laxus, then he may be injured Dad. Lets go and treat him. He may end up rejoining the guild then" said Romeo and started pulling his father towards the clearing.

Macao was doubtful and kept his magic ready, just in case the person was hostile. Just as they reached the clearing Romeo shrugged off Macao's hand and ran beside the person in the clearing.

"Dad, he is breathing very softly I think we should help him" said Romeo.

Macao reached beside Romeo and saw a kid around 12 years old. He was wearing an eye searing orange jumpsuit which wasn't the most striking feature of the child. No, it was the 3 whisker marks on each of his cheeks that got his attention. Macao thought 'Who could have someone tortured a child and carved whisker marks on his cheek. How can someone hate any child so deeply'

Macao picked up the child 'He is so light. Barely weighs anything at all. Obviously whomsoever tortured the child had not fed him' and said "Romeo I am sorry, but it looks like magic lesson for today has been canceled. We need to get this child back to the Guild Hall and see if he needs healing"

Romeo understanding the bad situation did not protest and followed his father back to the guild.

Inside the guild hall there was loads of noise. However, instead of the usual fun bar fight this was the argument between the remaining members about the jobs being issued to the guild. Just as the voice was raising, the doors suddenly opened and in came Macao carrying something orange with Romeo trailing behind him.

Wakaba Mine, adviser to Macao rushed towards him to ask him about the urgency when he noticed that the orange thing he was carrying was a child. Macao rushed to the infirmary and placed the child on the bed. In the meantime all the Guild members arrived at the infirmary and started asking him about the child at once.

Macao already upset about the child's state shouted at them to calm down and told them what happened and how he found the boy. When everyone was silently digesting the story Reedus said "Master, why don't you go to Porlyusica with the child. Even if she refuses to treat the child we can at least know if he is suffering any problem".

Thanking Reedus, Macao took the child to the hut of Porlyusica in the nearby forest. In the meanwhile at the guild everyone was confirming Macao's story about how they found the boy with Romeo.

Just when Macao was reaching the hut he heard "What are you doing here? I told you I hate humans".

Macao replied "Porlyusica-San, I found this child in the nearby forest and would like to know if he is suffering from any injuries."

Seeing the child in Macao's hands she said "Okay, come in and lay him down on this bed"

After Macao laid the boy on the bed, Porlyusica used her staff to find out the medical status of the child.

"Whatever injuries the boy has suffered has been healed. He had a terrible injury near his heart which has left this scar. Also he has not been fed well and is very underweight" said Porlyusica

Macao asked in concern "What about the marks on his face? Has someone tortured the boy?"

Porlyusica replied "No, surprisingly it was not carved into him. So it may be some sort of birthmark."

Macao now relieved, asked "That's a relief, does he need any medication or needs to be kept here"

Porlyusica replied "No, he has already healed and will wake up in some time. You will need to feed him regularly though. Also he may or may not remember things, so speak to him carefully. Okay, as everything is done now get out. I don't like the smell of humans in my home"

Macao replied while laughing awkwardly "Yes, Porlyusica-San. Thank you for your help"

After picking up the boy, Macao took him back to the guild hall. Porlyusica was thinking 'Strange, why does the boy smell like fox & toads. Oh well, who cares'

After reaching back Macao told about his discussion with Porlyusica with everyone and told them to get back to work. He himself went back to his work and told Romeo to keep an eye on the child.

After 4 hours everyone in the guild "Dad, everyone, come here he is waking up"

Everyone rushed into the infirmary to see the child opening his sky blue colored eyes. He was staring at them when Romeo spoke "Hello, my name is Romeo Conbolt. What is your name?"

The child replied while grinning "My name is Naruto Uzumaki. Do you know where am I?"

Macao informed the child now revealed as Naruto "Hi Naruto, I am Romeo's father. You are in Fairy Tail guild in Magnolia. Do you know where it is?"

Naruto giving a watery smile "Yes, I know where it is. Thank God, I was able to escape"
