Right after he made the big announcement, he kept an arm around her shoulders, guiding her to sit in the empty chair next to Vic. Andy sat uneasily at the table, gaze fixed on the table. She did not want to look at the people sitting at her table. She was certainly not prepared for this and felt really uncomfortable. About a minute later, Sullivan placed the plate she had been previously preparing in front of her then sat down in the last available seat, at the end of the table. Once he was sitting, she turned to look at him. She still had not said a word. Actually, she was just now noticing that no one had spoken to her since she had sat at the table.

Sullivan was still on cloud nine since his meeting with Dixon. He also felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders now that they had finally announced their big secret. There were no more secrets to hide, and he was so happy about that. However, he fell down the cloud when he sat at the table and met Andy's eyes. She looked scared and unhappy and he could not figure out why.

"You ok?" he asked her quietly.

"I…I'm not so sure." She said.

"No more secrets, Andy." He repeated the words he had used just a few minutes before.

It did not help her to feel better. She was still looking at him fear written all over her face, so he took a hold of her hand. While they were having a silent conversation with their eyes, someone finally dared to pull them out of their bubble.

"So…You guys are married…" Dean said in a not so questioning tone.

"Yes, we are." Robert answered tightening his hold on Andy's hand. He really needed her to relax, she was worrying him. He risked a glance at her and saw the uneasy smile on her face. "Where did I screw up?" he thought. He looked back at Dean, giving him a real happy smile.

He could feel Andy's hand getting moist and it worried him even more. He had rarely seen her that scared and uncomfortable. He quickly looked back at her. Thankfully, she was still looking in his direction, so he held her gaze, trying to convey as much love and support as he could. They silently talked with their eyes a few more seconds before Andy finally looked away. She smiled at her friends, making sure to make eye contact with everyone but Vic. She could not understand what their small smiles meant, and she did not like it. She needed to regain control on things, so she let go of Sullivan's hand, placing it on his shoulder. She bent down to his ear, so that only he could hear.

"I'll be right back."

"You sure you're ok?" he asked worriedly, stopping her movement by covering her hand with his own.

"Yeah, just need a minute." She replied offering him what she thought was a reassuring smile. She gently squeezed his shoulder as she got up, excusing herself from the table. Robert worriedly watched her back as she exited the barn. He wanted to follow her, but knew she needed some time alone to process everything that had just happened.

Head bent; Andy made her way out of the barn. She did not know where she wanted to hide, but she knew she needed air. She was walking at a fast pace, ending up in the locker room. Looking around, she finally opened the door to her bunk, letting herself fall on the bed. She inhaled deeply then slowly let all the air out. "What the heck had just happened" she thought.

She loved her husband. She had told Jack that she was scared, she was not sure that it was a good idea to get married so fast. These were facts, but based on her current emotional state, she could not say that they were to be trusted. As she had told her friend, she was sure that she did not regret marrying her Battalion Chief. She did love him, and that was the main reason why she had accepted his proposal. She was still deep in thoughts when she heard footsteps coming her way. She sat up, turning her head to look at the door.

"Hey."

"Hey." She answered with a small smile.

"You ok?"

"Yes, I just needed time to think. It was becoming a little too much for me downstairs." She explained, smiling a little to emphasize the fact that she was ok.

"So…I guess you never had time to have that talk."

"Nope." She simply said.

"And how do you feel about that?" the person inquired.

"I don't know…" she quickly glanced at the person sitting next to her, taking a second to think about her answer. "I think I'm relieved…" she finally said, smiling.

"Oh…" the person was at a loss for words.

"Yeah…I know I said I was worried and unsure, but…" she paused as her lips stretched into a big bright smile. "What?" she asked, still smiling at the person who was now shaking its head at her.

"Nothing. You actually look happy."

"I…I think I am. But I'm also grieving, scared, and a mess." She explained.

"You looked so unsure earlier…Was it because of me?" the person asked somewhat worriedly.

"I… You sure planted some doubts in my mind, Jack." She looked at him, sobering up. "But I love him. I can't explain why or how it happened, but I've never felt that way before…" His frowned at her so she added "I'm not saying that to hurt you or anything, it's just…"

"It's ok, Andy, I get it." Jack cut her off. "You married the guy. I know you wouldn't have done that if you didn't love the guy more than me." He tried to joke, bumping her shoulder with his own.

"Yeah…" she said, staring at a point on the wall in front of her.

They stayed silent for a few minutes.

"I'm happy for you." Jack finally said, breaking the silence. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders, bringing her closer to his side.

"Thank you." Andy answered with a genuine smile.

Just when she was done speaking, someone cleared their throat. Andy looked up, smiling at the person standing in the doorway. Next to her, Jack looked down at the floor, quickly dropping the arm from around her shoulders. He knew he was not doing anything wrong He was simply comforting his friend, and yet he still felt like he had just been caught doing something terribly wrong.

"Am I interrupting?" the new person asked, raising an eyebrow at them.

"Nope!" Andy said, sending him a bright smile. "Jack was actually congratulating me…us…"

"Ok…Thanks." Sullivan answered awkwardly.

"I…" Jack started but was quickly interrupted by Andy.

"He actually helped me clear my mind."

"Ok…" Sullivan was not sure what he was supposed to say at that point. Actually, he was not even sure what he was meant to think about what he had just witnessed. Sure, they looked like friends comforting each other, nothing more. But knowing their history, Robert was feeling a little jealous and worried too.

"I'll leave you guys." Jack said as he got to his feet. "You guys need to talk." He told his chief as he walked past him.

Robert looked at his retreating back before turning back around to look at his wife. When she patted the spot next to her, Sullivan went to sit on the bed, his eyes trained on her face, trying to read her expression.

"Whatever you're thinking, stop." Andy stated as soon as he was next to her. She had held his gaze while he was looking at her.

"I…" Robert was surprised. "What was that?" he finally asked.

"Just a friend, helping me see clearer into things." She told him.

"I…I'm sorry." He said quietly, bending his head and grabbing one her hands.

"I thought you were not one to say sorry easily." She teased him a bit.

"Yeah." He said with a small laugh, shaking his head at her. He looked up at her face.

"You took me by surprise. I was not prepared for this." She explained. "You just came and spilled all those good news, and then you were all about kissing and I wanted to do that too, don't get me wrong…But I was absolutely not ready for you to just tell everyone at the same time."

"I'm sorry…I should've listened when you tried to tell me that you were not ready." He said, looking apologetically at her. He looked so sincere that she could not be mad at him.

"It's ok…Jack actually made me realize that I feel…" she took a deep breath, a large smile gracing her lips. "Relieved. I feel relieved."

"So…I'm not sleeping on the couch tonight." He asked, pulling her close enough so that she was now sitting halfway on his lap.

"No, you're not." She answered with a laugh.

Robert looked at her smiling face, enjoying the view before he leaned closer and kissed her softly on the lips.

"Come on, we should go back downstairs." He said, pulling her off his lap and on her feet. "We wouldn't want people to start asking question…You know they know now; their minds could go wild." He added, raising an eyebrow at her. She shook her head at his silliness. She knew he was right, and she knew that look all too well now. It was his "I want us to do more than kissing, but we can't, but this is my funny private business look."

"I love you, husband." She simply said as she grabbed his hand.

"I love you too" he answered, walking close to her as they made their way back to the barn.

He felt reassured now, they would be ok, he was sure of that. And now, they could face the public together, hand in hand, no questions asked…And he was relieved…too.

I'm not sure where this is going…I guess it will depend on your thoughts ^^ and my ideas (but these I have a lot of ^^)
