Chapter 1

Anakin nor Obi-Wan truly didn't understand the Jedi Council at the moment. They tried to get an innocent girl executed! How can a Council that claimed to be the keepers of the peace hand one of their own over to the Republic nearly without any hesitation? The Jedi Council is supposed to be supportive, not just throwing away one of their own like complete garbage.

What Anakin didn't expect was that his master to be against the Council on this one. Obi-Wan was trying to keep his feelings for the Jedi Council deep, but he too was horrified. The Council better have a good apology on this one. They can only hope that Ahsoka is not traumatically scarred from this little experience. For days, the Jedi Council have immediately assumed Ahsoka was guilty of something she didn't do. Only Obi-Wan and Plo Koon were the only Council members who believed Ahsoka innocent but had little to no choice.

Anakin thought about what would have happened if he was in Ahsoka's position in these circumstances. Would the Jedi Council have trusted him in his innocence? Would they have thrown him aside like garbage as they'd done with Ahsoka? It wouldn't be surprising. Anakin realized that he couldn't trust the Jedi anymore. They'll only take everything he has.

"Obi-Wan, I'm not sure if I should stay in the Jedi Order," Anakin finds himself saying, speaking his thoughts at last and allowing the anger to flash cleared in his eyes.

Sadly, Obi-Wan couldn't even reprimand him, for he had agreed. The Jedi Master wanted to help Anakin and Padmé to proved Ahsoka's innocence yet the Council called for him continuously and he couldn't escape them to help his former Apprentice. He had known the Togruta was innocent from the beginning and refused to aid in her banishment. He was not even sure if Yoda or Windu regrets what they have done. They said attachment is not the Jedi's way, but Obi-Wan cared about Anakin and Ahsoka. They have been on countless missions and only grown closer and closer with each other, frequently treating each other like siblings. Obi-Wan got to know Ahsoka and knew she was innocent in all of this.

As both master and apprentice got on the transport that shall take them to the Jedi Temple, he had noticed Rex escorting Ahsoka, without cuffs this time. Rex was the one who had to hold her when he escorted her back because he didn't want his brothers to roughen her up. Many of the clones were looking out for her and is not allowing her to be seen by reporters. Anakin was grateful that the 501st was keeping their sister's safety over their own. He recognized Jesse and Fives walking with him, along with them keeping firing eyes from under their helmets on Tarkin and Fox.

The Jedi Knight can easily sense their rage. Rex, Jesse, and Fives knew Ahsoka personally and they revealed that they'd not believed Ahsoka was guilty of the Temple bombing nor killing those innocent people. Fox may have some sympathy, but Tarkin held no remorse. Tarkin does not care about what could have happened to Ahsoka. He can't believe he had called that man his friend.

With a barely emitted snarl, Anakin was unable to ignore his emotions. Quickly, Anakin got out of the transport and stormed up to Tarkin. "Anakin! No!" Obi-Wan shouted from behind, hoping that his padawan won't harm the admiral.

Anakin finally reached Tarkin, now towering over him and leaning his shoulders and glaring at him, holding dominance over the admiral who had originally believed Ahsoka was guilty. "You come near her again, you Kath Hound, me being Jedi or not, you will pay for it!"

Anakin punched him in the eye, thus giving him a black eye, before punching him in the nose, causing blood to form and causing him to clutch his bleeding nose before the young man grabs him by his shirt with the Force and slamming him down on the ground in the middle of many bystanders, which immediately got the attention of some reporters who took pictures and got recordings of the down Tarkin.

Anakin felt a sick sort of satisfaction. Now he feels Ahsoka's embarrassment and pain about being accused. He deserved it, and Anakin would do it again if given the chance.

He saw a few of the Jedi Masters looking disapprovingly at him and looked like they were about to lecture him. Anakin's eyes beamed with anger at them, that make them shiver right then and there, making none of them dared to confront him. The Coruscant Guards also went towards him with their blasters slightly raised led by Commander Fox, but Anakin activated his lightsaber towards them before walking slowly, backing up to the speeder along with Obi-Wan, and they all begin to depart to the Jedi Temple, deactivating his lightsaber and placing it back in his robe.

Although Obi-Wan had taught Anakin to not give in his emotions, the Jedi Master was secretly proud of him. Tarkin was a corrupted man who deserved that. Ahsoka saved his life, and he just sends false accusations her way. The 501st was also proud of their General's move. One order from anybody and Tarkin would be in cuffs to a Republic High-Security prison. Rex deeply cares for Ahsoka, after working with her many times in the war. Certainly, he did not believe she was guilty. They were highly loyal to the Republic but was even more loyal to Anakin and Ahsoka.

Anakin wondered for a second how the 212th felt about this. No doubt they have been disappointed too. After all, Ahsoka worked with Cody a few times throughout the war, and he had liked Ahsoka as a friend. Rex felt a high urge to leave the Republic after what they had done to Ahsoka. One more push and he is gone from this Republic. With the departure of Rex, Fives and other clones would soon follow.

"Ahsoka, I'm so sorry about everything." Anakin apologized, his voice coming out sorrowful his face was full of sadness and disappointment, as he remembered how much grief that the Council caused her.

Ahsoka nodded slowly. Despite everything, she was grateful that Anakin still supported her and is apologizing for something that is not his fault.

"You have our most humble apologies, little 'Soka," Plo Koon added sympathetically, touching his palms of his hand in the front of his chest. Ahsoka knew he was genuinely sorry and that he'd believed she was innocent but she felt like he didn't do anything too much and would have done nothing, even after she was proven innocent. "The Council was wrong to accuse you." The Kel Dor could have done something more. Why would he allowed her to stand trial? She always wanted to make Plo Koon proud but yet he threw her aside like she was nothing and didn't make attempts. Obi-Wan's reason was justified because the Council was watching him, yet Plo couldn't have assisted in it.

"You have shown great strength. And resilience in your struggle to prove your innocence." Master Saesee Tiin praised. Ahsoka didn't know him very well because she had never really make conversation with him, but he was surely one who had believed her guilty and would have allowed the Republic to execute her had it not been for Anakin's quick thinking and effortlessly working to prove her innocent, and Padme to try and stall time.

"This was a true sign of a Jedi Knight." Master Mundi indeed tries to flattered her, but she can see right through them all now. They are nothing but hypocrites who just wanted to pose a public image.

"This was your great trial," Windu declared, "Now we see that. We understand the Force works in mysterious ways and because of this trial you have become a great Jedi then you would have otherwise." Ahsoka was displeased and crossed her arms. He couldn't even accept responsibility and realized how much he have impacted Ahsoka. Him and the damn Council! But he has been the hardest on her and continues to call for her blame! How dare he?! It took all the Togruta had not to snapped at him and the rest of the Council beside Obi-Wan and Anakin. However, Anakin and Obi-Wan were outraged and shock. Obi-Wan managed to recover from his shock. At first, Anakin looked like he was about to remain silent, and barely only managed to keep from talking.

"Back into the Order, you may come." Yoda declared.

Anakin was angry that they are even stating that she can come back to the Order and forget this traumatic experience ever happened. Only barely able to control his rage, Anakin came forward and begins to pull out something, Ahsoka's Padawan braid.

"They're asking you back, Ahsoka," Anakin stated as he outstretched the braid towards her. "I'm asking you back."

Ahsoka looks from Anakin to the hair beads and back again. Anakin stares at her and silently motioned for her to take it, but so reached out like she was going to take the braid, before closing Anakin's hand around the beads. His eyes went full of horror and shock. Two years of fighting alongside each other! Ahsoka is going to leave him! She was his sister!

"I'm sorry master, but I'm not coming back," Ahsoka spoke, her voice coming out soft and hoarse, trying to resist the tears as she turned around to the doors of the Council Chambers. Anakin stares to the ground with sorrow and lost as he heard the door closing. He begins to follow, not seeing Obi-Wan looking like he was about to follow but Plo Koon placed his hand on the Jedi's shoulder.

Obi-Wan wanted to stop this, to try and convince Ahsoka to come back. He knew his apprentice has lost much in his life but yet now Plo Koon is keeping him back! He was right of course, but still this whole situation was absolutely ridiculous!

From the outside of the Jedi Temple, Ahsoka was walking, fully ready to leave behind the Jedi that abandoned her. They are all traitors! They didn't even try to help her! She served beside them and carry out their code to the heart but they betrayed her like she was nothing.

"Ahsoka, wait! Ahsoka, I need to talk to you," Anakin called out for her, trying to convince her. Ahsoka sighs and smiles lowly, knowing that her master wouldn't have done this easily. "Why are you doing this?" Ahsoka couldn't believe that he didn't know. Why should she go back and stay with a corrupted Order full of nothing but corrupted Jedi who is trying to keep the peace but only making things worst from the start? The Jedi Council is too corrupted and is leading to their destruction. Part of her wishes her master would just leave the Order as a whole, for they are changing him.

"The Council didn't trust me, so how can I trust myself?" Ahsoka demanded, holding out her hands, and defending herself from him. The hurt in his eyes was almost overwhelming which almost made her reconsider her choice of leaving him. Almost.

"What about me? I believed in you. I stood by you." Anakin reminded her, the hurt clear in his voice and invisible tears trailing down her eyes.

"I know you believe in me, Anakin, and I'm grateful for that. But this isn't about you. I can't stay here any longer, not now." Ahsoka replied, looking away, not able to stare at him directly any longer.

"The Jedi Order is your life. You can't just throw it away like this. Ahsoka, you are making a mistake." Anakin tried to convince her, trying to stop her from doing this!

"Maybe, but I have to sort this out on my own, without the Council and without you," Ahsoka stated, barely able to look at him a little further, trying to tell him that she made her decision of not staying.

Anakin wanted to stop her, wanted to convince her that she shouldn't do this! She was his little sister! But he understood why she's doing this! The damn Jedi Council is too arrogant to accept their mistake! They are no longer the same Jedi Council old masters would tell him in his stories years ago! At that moment, Anakin doubted that he should even stay himself and not leaving with her! He has lost too many in his life! His mother! Many men throughout the Clone Wars! Friends! Now, he is with Ahsoka and should not leave her.

"I understand. More than you realize, I understand wanting to walk away from the Order." Anakin voiced, his tone coming out as a quiver, slightly trembling from his spot.

"I know." With those last words, she turns and Anakin watches her until she disappears down the steps of the Jedi Temple.

Anakin knew there is still a chance! His thoughts went to his mother, all of the men he has lost, all the deceit the Jedi Council send his way! Everything he has done for them truly meant nothing, considering Ahsoka's heroics didn't matter to them! Anakin realized that the Jedi Council will never accept their mistake! He couldn't stay! Instead of staying there like an empty fool and watching her disappear from his life in maybe forever, Anakin started running down the Jedi Temple stairs where he had seen Ahsoka still walking with her head hung low.

"Ahsoka!"

At her name being called, she freezes and turned to face him with tears now strolling down her eyes. Anakin can see the hurt about what she had done but also the anger that he isn't leaving her alone and letting her just go. Anakin mentally sighed and shakes his head before his eyes opened with a newfound determination.

"I'm leaving with you," Anakin declared, his voice coming out determined, warm, and that he was not going to let her explore this galaxy on her own. For far too long, he has been living in lies and deception. With him leaving the Jedi Order, he can now explore his relationship with Padmé and explore the galaxy as a whole. Screw fighting for the Jedi or the Republic.

By the words leaving his mouth, the Togruta's eyes went wide of shock and surprise, but a little bit of joy in there as well.

"Anakin, yo-you can't leave the Jedi Order, they are your life." Ahsoka stammered, recalling how much she had seen the same determination in his eyes whenever he disobeyed the Jedi Council's wishes.

Anakin frowned and his eyes begin burning with the flames of Mustafar. The power of the dark side ran through him. He was angry, pissed, and disappointed that the Jedi have done this to her. She saved them! She was the only one who would always do her best in missions that the Republic had won many times!

"No, Ahsoka, I am with you now. The Jedi Council is too corrupted. I should have left the Jedi Order after my mother's death." Anakin states in a cold voice that she never heard before. Anakin has known to be cold in the past and has done questionable methods to get answers out of someone like trying to track down Rako Hardeen who was actually Obi-Wan in disguised. He had force choke Poggle the Lesser to get answers out of him after Geonosis or he had told her he did. Sometimes, he can be just as frightening as General Grievous. She knew he started going against the Jedi Code since what they had done to his master who was the only one he'd ever trusted. Now he truly trusted her only and Senator Amidala.

Ahsoka knew there is no way she can convince him. She wanted to do this on her own, to not be with the Jedi, and live her own life, but things are not the same without her master who feels like a big brother. Exploring the galaxy with him and defeating the Separatists from the shadows can help. Plus, with Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano leaving the Jedi Order, it will do great and massive damage to the Jedi Order as a whole, for they merely servants towards the Republic. He motioned to the upstairs, deciding that it was time to announce he's leaving.

"I'm leaving the Jedi Order with Ahsoka," Anakin announced coldly but determinedly, Ahsoka standing behind him as he glares at the still-standing Jedi Masters. The entire Council wasn't here but a vast majority of them were, but he was sure that word would reach the Jedi Masters who is gone. In reality, he is going to only miss Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, probably Yoda, Shaak Ti... and Obi-Wan Kenobi, his brother.

His words spark several reactions from the Jedi Council.

Obi-Wan seemed shocked, his eyes going wide, enough to make Anakin feel the forbidding and hurt coming off the Jedi Master. It was enough to make Anakin sick but not change his mind. Anakin secretly uses the Force to send an apology to him through their bond which he hopes is of enough comfort for him.

Plo Koon looked hurt as well, though for different reasons. The Kel Dor Jedi Master was one who believed Ahsoka was innocent but didn't do enough and instead stand by his fellow masters. His expression now one of despair. It was clear that he understood but it still hurt the Jedi Master.

Master Yoda's eyes went wide, actually showing emotion, but didn't say anything. He looked disappointed at Anakin leaving the Jedi Order but didn't seem to hold high regard for the trial of Ahsoka. Why did Master Yoda always seem of one who could be likable at times, but at other times, he was just cruel and remorseless. Obi-Wan seems like a better Jedi than he ever be.

Master Mundi's eyes went wide but not out of despair or disappointment but rather out of surprise. Anakin first liked the Jedi Master after promising him his immense gratitude on Geonosis but he was one of the Jedi Masters who refused to help Ahsoka and voted into her guiltiness.

Saesee Tiin showed a similar emotion to Mundi. However, Anakin and Ahsoka barely knew him and just saw him as another Jedi. He doesn't talk that much in meetings and stay more as a layback.

Master Windu's eyes went wide for a brief second, but his face remains steel and cold as a stone. Anakin knew the Korun Master never liked him from the beginning and never gave him a shroud of trust, despite trying to get his approval many times throughout the Clone Wars, but he was the main master who suggested letting Ahsoka be trial. Anakin was grateful that he was apprenticed to Obi-Wan rather than Master Windu, for the bastard would always be hard on him and never give him a chance.

Everyone in the room is at least slightly shocked, including Windu. Anakin Skywalker leaving the Jedi Order! That is something that they have least expected, for Anakin is the Hero With No Fear. With him not in the Jedi Order, massive damage would be done to their reputation. No years of training can hide that emotion.

A voice ringed out from the Council Chambers.

"Skywalker, is this about her great trial?" Windu asked finally, his voice carrying no emotion, motioning to Ahsoka who had her arms crossed from behind with a face full of amusement and anger. Anakin finally lost all control with the Jedi Masters.

"Her great trial?!" Anakin snapped as he flipped around and glared daggers directly at Mace Windu, who have been nothing but a negative supporter of Anakin since he was nine. "How the hell can you say that this was her great trial?! She nearly died! Are you too arrogant to accept a mistake and say: "Oh I screw up!" and accept your wrongdoings?! Or are you trying to make mere excuses?! Enough with the great trial excuse already!"

Instantly, Windu tensed, his eyes now flashing towards the angry Skywalker. For far too long, Skywalker had too much of an attachment to his allies and companions, a trait that Kenobi himself even followed.

"Skywalker, we had no evidence of her innocence and all of the evidence was pointing at her! The matter was simply out of our hands." Windu shot back, recovering from his momentarily shock from the outburst of Anakin to glare directly at Skywalker.

Obi-Wan knew he couldn't continue without Anakin. Anakin was his friend and he couldn't stay if Anakin wasn't going to stay. How can Obi-Wan continue and act like he will be able to forget Anakin? Despite always staying on the Jedi Council's side, Obi-Wan was not going to go on without Anakin. His apprentice was the last he had of Qui-Gon and he cannot forget none of them. An image of a disappointed Qui-Gon came into his head.

The next voice was one whom Ahsoka did not expect. It was the one who seems to always stand by the Jedi Council. But now has enough of this, clearly on the side of herself and Anakin.

"No, Master Windu, this was not a great trial for Ahsoka, it was for us and we have failed us best badly." Obi-Wan Kenobi said, now coming to the assistance of his apprentice and grand-apprentice.

"If this Council will not accept the mistake they made, then I am leaving this Order along with Ahsoka! This is your last chance!" Anakin snarled, his eyes now flashing with determination but with much hatred as well.

Obi-Wan came beside him, recovering from his apprentice's outburst and making his choice. The Council he once served is not the same, this only shows how much the war had changed them and not for the better. The Jedi have become too dependent on the Republic and just now is just as cold. "As will I, I would not be on a corrupted Council that won't accept their faults," Obi-Wan said firmly, now locking eyes with all in the Council and standing beside Anakin and Ahsoka. He couldn't bear to lose two friends. How can he serve an Order without his best friends? He would feel so lonely.

The Council was silent for a moment. Anakin and Obi-Wan were now losing their patience with the Jedi Council. Now, they are slowly turning away from the Jedi. Not anyone in the Council anticipated for Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi to leave the Jedi Order. Sure, Anakin's leaving was quite a shock, but Obi-Wan leaving was even much more of a shock. Never did they suspect a Jedi Master who is on the Council to leave the Jedi Order. Especially one who has much devotion to the Jedi.

"Very well," Mace Windu said, recovering from his momentarily shock about The Negotiator also leaving the Jedi Order.

Anakin took his lightsaber from his belt and stared at it for a long moment. He had the weapon for nearly two years and it's quite a shame to leave his Jedi materials behind. It was also a disgrace that the Council will not accept their mistake and allow three war heroes to leave.

Obi-Wan soon mirrored his actions by grabbing his lightsaber from his belt and also stared at it. He felt a little terrible for leaving behind a weapon he had since he became a Jedi Master and after losing to Count Dooku.

Now, two deactivated lightsabers rested in the middle of the Council Chambers until Mace reached out his hand and the two lightsabers glided into the Korun Master hands. Anakin and Obi-Wan would have to leave this Order, but they will have lightsabers again, just not the ones they have for so long. The two are practically borned fighters, so there is no way they are going to leave their original destinies behind fully. Hopefully, Ahsoka would also not leave her original destinies behind fully either.

"Leave, you all may," Yoda said regretfully, pinning his ears and bowing his head as he closed his eyes out of regret.

Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan turned to leave the Council Chambers. A part of Obi-Wan looked like he had wanted to stay as did Anakin and Ahsoka, but each of them knew that the Council would never fully accept their mistake. They have no choice. Now, Anakin has to go to the barracks to tell the 501st about what happened.

They will not leave behind their starfighters at the very least. The Jedi Order had lost three mighty Jedi today, but they will perhaps learn in time.
