A fox named Nicholas Wilde was asleep on his back in his train compartment. He opened his eyes looking up at the little fox cub asleep on his chest, his huge bushy tail covering the little baby. This baby was his five-year-old son Noah Wilde, formerly known as Noah Sly. Five years ago, Nick had made out with the kid's mother and got her in serious trouble. He had not seen her for fiver years until this orphan cub entered his life and the whole truth came out; Kimberly had left Zootopia and died giving birth to Noah. After so many dangers and near-death experiences Noah fell back into the paws of his father who he still cared for. Nick was ashamed for being careless and creating a bastard as a result but ever since he alined that Noah was his son, he felt ready for the title 'Dad'.

Noah felt himself curled in a ball and resting against a soft breast. He looked up to see a beautiful fox cuddling him and smiling lovingly down at him.
"Mommy?"
"My little baby," she smiled.
"Where were you?"
"I was with you this entire time," she replied. "And I always will be."
"But why did you die, Mommy?"
"I had no choice, baby," said his mother sadly. "Nobody does. It's just the circle of life."
"But I miss you, Mommy," said Noah. "Can you be alive for just five minutes?"
"I wish I could be alive forever just to be with you, my sweet little pup. But I'm always alive inside you. I'm with you everywhere I go."
She kissed him gently on the nose and Noah closed his eyes, feeling her paws stroke the back of his head.
"And make sure Daddy is being a good boy," she said gently to her sleeping baby.
Noah nuzzled into her and slowly began to make out that he was nuzzling his father's chest.

Noah stirred, yawned and opened his eyes to see his dad opening his own.
"Good morning, Daddy," he said warily.
"Good morning, son," said Nick as he kissed Noah's nose, him doing the same in return.
"How did my little pup sleep?"
"Very nice thanks," said Noah. "I had a dream about Mommy. She said for me to enjoy the holiday with you and she kissed me."
Nick smiled and stroked Noah's cheek, "You know, I see her right int you face and eyes."
They nuzzled their noses together until Nick said "Anyway, how'd you like a blueberry jam sandwich for breakfast."
He lifted Noah off his chest, brought out his luggage, opened it, rummaged for a white bag and brought out two huge blueberry jam sandwiches. Noah was already tucking into the morsel and was soon stained with a blue beard which he instantly licked away.
Nick chuckled at this small inheritance.
"Like father, like son," he remarked.
When Nick had finished his sandwich, Noah climbed up to him and said "You some on the side of your mouth, Daddy."
He wiped it off and cheekily sampled the final piece of his favourite food.
Nick avenged his loss by tickling Noah's feet; he squealed and chuckled and he tried to tickle his dad back but he pinned Noah down, turned around and used his big, bushy tail to keep Noah tickled with no redemption.

"What's this, Daddy?"
"Blueberry bubblegum," said Nick. "You see, when the plane shoots up the sky, wind impacts your ears making them pop - not literally," he added seeing his cub's worried face, "just when you swallow, they pop inside. Go on, put it in your mouth, but never swallow gum."
Noah munched on the gum and enjoyed the flavour to no end.
Nick smiled. "Your love for blueberry gum makes reminds daddy of a book he used to read as a cub called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There is this cub lioness who eats a magic piece of chewing gum which tastes of blueberries, then it made her blue all over and then she puffed up into a huge blueberry."
Noah giggled out loud at this. He carried on giggling for the next ten minutes when Nick tried to stop him.
"I know it's Daddy's fault he made you laugh but you shouldn't laugh with gum in your mouth. You might choke."
Noah tried very hard to stop laughing and made great effort with it.
"Good boy," said Nick. "Too much laughing is not good for anyone; you will make yourself blue all over and you'll puff into a blueberry yourself."
Nick found this a great opportunity to tell the whole story to him as they travelled on the plane; a young orange rabbit called Charlie Bucket wins a trip to a magical chocolate factory owned by a fox called Willy Wonka and four other trouble making children; Violet Beauregarde, a lioness that always chews gum, Veruca Salt, a poodle who was dreadfully spoiled, Mike Teavee, a hyena who was hooked with television and Augustus Gloop, a pig who eats anything in sight - like any pig.
Noah was amazed by the story but found himself getting rather thirsty. Luckily for him, the steward was serving refreshments and was coming up to them. Nick ordered two Coca Polars.
Noah was greeted with a red can with the title in a white ribboned font. Nick opened it for him and Noah looked at the black bubbling beverage.
"Will it explode?" he asked.

"No, son," Nick laughed. "It's just fizzy. It's delicious when cold."
Noah took an immediate gulp but he reacted sensitively to the fix the stung his tongue. He wagged his tongue about like a paddleball much to Nick's humour. Noah suddenly felt panic. Inside him he felt something crawling up to his throat. Just as he was about to cry for help, a burp escaped his mouth.
Nick laughed but Noah looked paranoid.
"Better out than in, pal," said Nick ruffling his son's head. "Everyone burps drinking stuff like that."
Noah spent most of the journey listening to audiobooks resting on Nick's lap until finally, Nick had to wake him up and fasten his seat belt.
The plane slowly started to go down which was frightening the little fox. He clutched his father tightly who comforted him.
"It's okay, pal," said Nick. "We'll get off this tin bucket unharmed."
Finally, the plane skidded and slowly stopped.
Nick and Noah got up, grabbed their luggage and headed out into the evening light. They went through procedure of getting their rest of their luggage and headed for the bus that would take them to their location to spend three whole months as a father and son.

They travelled for a whole hour, Noah asleep on his father's lap and his tail bundling him. Noah felt like this was a dream he could not wake up form after what he been through for these five years and with his daddy by his side, he was grateful that this was no dream at all. However, he longed for Patsy to still be with him. If only the tragedy could have been prevented. As he closed his eyes, he noticed Patsy's face smiling at him and kissing him.
"Patsy kissed me, Daddy," murmured Noah.
Nick stroked him affectionately.
Finally, the bus stopped and Nick had to wake his cub up. They grabbed their luggage and made their way to the hotel alongside other animals; a grand place all in violet and reaching almost up to the sky. Pretty lights were shining here and there and flowerbeds were growing almost around the entrance, above it read Paw & Claw Paradise.
Noah looked at the place in wonderment as did Nick.
"Certainly my patch of blueberries," commented Nick.
"Mine too," agreed Noah.
A female zebra in a pink dress checked them in.
"Nicholas and Noah Wilde?" she inquired.
"Yes, doll," said Nick.

"If you both follow me."
They did so and she took them up to the highest floor.
"The best in the hotel I chose for us, pal," said Nick to Noah who was being carried on his shoulders.
They were halfway through when they stopped at a lift.
"Any considering for the sloths?" Nick joked to the zebra who just smiled. He just couldn't see how a lift could not be at the bottom.
Eventually they reached the top, the zebra guiding to the door just opposite the elevator reading 503.
"You'll find your suppers already served," she said. "Any problems on how to use the bath or shower or to handle the television, you will find a list of instructions on the coffee table."
"Thanks, Stripes," Nick joked as she chuckled but Noah gasped in shock.
"Stripes?!" he cried.
"Hey, hey, hey," Nick calmed him down as he brought his to his arms. "I meant the zebra, not - the other Stripes."
"The ti-" began the zebra but Nick shook his head at her with a serious expression on his face.
"I'm sorry," apologised the zebra. "I hope you and your pup will have a lovely time."
"Thank you," smiled Nick. "He will have a whale of a time."
They entered the hotel room which was almost like an actual house. There was a long, curved couch facing a huge television, two steps leading to a silver kitchen area and in the bathroom, there was a jacuzzi with a good-looking shower gold in colour.
"Luxury," smiled Nick.
They headed to the table where plates of chicken fillets and a cold jug of water
Noah squirted his chicken with tomato ketchup and tucked right in.
"You love your ketchup, don't you?" said Nick watching his son eat.
"Adds rich flavour," said Noah with his mouthful. He was so hungry he was happy to finally have an actual meal through the journey.
Finally he had finished and his muzzle was all covered in right.
"Wow," said Nick. "You're such a carnivore, blood beard."
"Huh?" said Noah not aware of of his ketchup-covered mouth.
Nick brought out a wipe and cleaned him and showed him the ketchup stain.
"Oh," laughed Noah.
After dinner, they ran the jacuzzi. Noah was amazed by the sight of it with the water bubbling like a witch's cauldron.
Nick stripped out of his clothes and pulled off his cub's. He picked him up and gently paced him into the water and climbed in himself.
"This is so relaxing!" commented Noah. "And ticklish."
"Now you're finally starting to know how to live son," said Nick leaning against the side of the tub.
Nick took a deep breath and exhaled, sinking lower to the water, his son repeated everything. But the relaxation was short-lived when the two foxes began some fun, Nick picking his cub up, tossing up and down, up and down again and and again, then they reenacted a fox ship, Noah on his father's shoulders as he swam about, then he sunk, leaving Noah stranded.
"Uh-oh," said in a menacing voice as he returned to the surface. "The big orange shark is coming you!"
Nick swam after Noah while tooting the theme to Jaws. Noah laughed as he tried swimming away but his father grabbed him and tickled his son's belly as he squealed and squirmed in his father's grasp trying to escape.
Finally they calmed down, Nick sitting back down with his son in his arms, Noah sitting on his dad's lap snuggling into his chest listening to his heart, his most favourite favourite sound.
"It's like we are the only foxes in this world, Daddy," he commented.
"It certainly is, son," said Nick as he kissed his son's head.
Noah snuggled into his dad again Nick's big wet tail swished a wave over his son.
"Hey!" he laughed.

"It was my tail!" Nick excused. "Not me!"

Soon they got out of the jacuzzi as Nick unplugged.
Noah went for a towel when Nick stopped him.
"Daddy has a much better way to dry off."
He shook his whole body from his head to his shoulders to his middled to his bottom (which he shook at his son to get a giggle out of him) to his tail until he was dry but was a fluff ball. Inspired, Noah repeated the exact same action (even shaking his behind at his dad). Nick chuckled at this. Ever since he he found this sweet little fox cub, he began to grow the traits his papa had while maintaining the sweet beautiful cub he was born as.
Soon the two fluff balls the bathroom, not bothering to get in their pyjamas as it was hot indoors. Nick went to the nearby fridge, brought out three bottles of water for each of them and placed them on each side of the bed.
"Just in case you get thirsty in the middle of the night," said Nick as he lay on the bed on his back. Noah clambered onto the bed next to his dad and wrapped his huge, bushy tail over him and snuggled against Daddy.
"You sure you won't get to warm?" asked Nick.
"I love your tail, Daddy," said Noah clutching tight. Nick was straining a little from the grip but he pretended not to feel anything. As long his pup was happy, he was happy.
"Okay, pal," said Nick, "but if you get warm you can undo yourself from it and have a drink of water."
He stared at Noah with a smile and the pup reached out to kiss his nose and his father leapt up with a sneeze.
"Sorry!" said Noah with worry. "I forgot your nose doesn't like kisses."
"No harm done, champ," said Nick bringing his son for a cuddle. "If you need the bathroom or anything, just wake Daddy up. And if you have any bad dreams, come into Daddy's tail. He'll look after you."
"Good night, Daddy," yawned Noah as he kissed his mouth. "I'm looking forward to spending three months with you."
"Good night, pal," said Nick as he planted a kiss on his pup's forehead.
Noah snuggled in, feeling that his life has started anew, for he could no longer remember the orphanage, or Fu - actually, he'd better not think those names up in case nightmares would occur. Instead he would focus on the next three months having fun with Daddy.
