I stare deep into the eyes of the girl in front of me. A few weeks ago she had been an acquaintance of Rebekah's, I think her name is Sarah or Samantha. It was something with an 'S' I'm sure of it. She's shaking so much I can practically hear her bones rattling. Actually, I might really be hearing that right now. She gulps and I focus my attention back on the task at hand.

"What's your name?" I ask, my voice smooth and calming. My sweet baritone doesn't seem to relax her though as she fumbles for words.

"S-Sophia," she replies. Ah Sophia. I was close. I stare deeper into her eyes.

"Relax, Sophia. Everything's going to be fine," I lie. As she tenses up I release a sigh. Ever since we had acquired our Daylight rings and left the house I had been trying to compel the few humans that live in our village. So far however, I have been largely unsuccessful. It seems my other vampiric traits are much easier to control. I look at the terrified girl shaking in front of me.

"Now, dear Sophia," I say with a smirk. "What shall I do with you? It seems you have proved to be of little use to me."

"You c-could let m-me go?" she asks weakly. I give her a light chuckle and place my hands on her shoulders.

"I could, true. But you know, I am feeling rather peckish." I begin to bare my fangs but before I can I feel something pick me up but before I can see who, I find myself wedged into a tree far away from where I was before.

I climb out of the destroyed tree, "Who did that?"

In a blur Rebekah appears in front of me looking pissed. I move my lips to speak but she slaps me before I can say anything.

"Finn, what did we agree on!?" She yelled at me

"That you should stop throwing me into trees?"

"We agreed not to feed on each other's friends!"

"Friends?" I laugh. "You barely know that girl."

"I do too," Rebekah retorted, folding her arms.

"Really," I fold my arms in kind. "What's her name?"

Rebekah is about to answer before she stops herself she thinks about it for a second. "Samantha."

"Wrong, Sophia," I grin. She curses and stomps on the ground.

"Why do you care if I feed on her anyways," I ask. She reddens at the question.

"Well, yesterday, you know how I was out late?" I nod. "Well, I got hungry and sort of ate her brother."

"Ah, so you don't want me to leave them childless?" Rebekah nods shamefully. "That's a nice sentiment, but Sophia did see you pick me up and throw me into a tree. We need to take care of that."

"Should we get her parents too? No point letting them live with that sorrow."

"What a kind way to describe cold blooded murder, dear sister."

(Later)

After taking care of poor Sophia and her family, I separated off from Rebekah. Even after trying to instill these habits into my family I was the only one who bathed regularly. Especially after eating. The blood from my face washes into the river as I stand there, rubbing the ancient soap on my naked frame. Once I am finished, I lay on a piece of leather in the sun as I dry off.

I fiddle with the enchanted ring on my finger. Before we'd gotten these daylight rings, sunlight had hurt, as expected. But what I did not expect was exactly how much it hurt. It was like the initial sensation when you place your hand in boiling water, the sudden excruciating increase in temperature. Except unlike with water, your hand doesn't adjust to the heat. It's just the continuous, agonizing burning sensation. Vervain burnt as well but to a much lesser degree.

Those few weeks that we were stuck in the house were the most uncomfortable time in both my lives. This family of now immortal vampires being stuck together for the majority of the day with nothing to do and nothing to say to each other. I mostly spent that time just taking advantage of the powers I could. Lifting things with my strength and juggling knives to practice my dexterity. My aim with my dagger was now inhumane…obviously.

My recollection was near photographic, which explained the detail in which the Originals remembered events that occurred centuries prior. I could think faster than before and learn new things at an unprecedented rate. I had mastered the art of sewing within a day of when Rebekah taught me. I also discovered something I hadn't realized: Original vampires have telepathy, or at least some dumbed down version of it.

The changes to my mind weren't all positive though. I found myself getting angry and sad much easier than usual. And since the telepathy worked for all of us I always had to be careful about someone reading my mind lest they discover my otherworldly nature.

"Might I ask, what exactly is going on with your family?"

I look over at Tatia, the spitting image of Nina Dobrev and shrug.

"Whatever do you mean," I say. My response doesn't seem to soothe her as she folds her arms.

"You know what I mean," she says. "You don't come out of your house during the day for weeks and when you do begin to come out, people begin mysteriously disappearing."

"Maybe they're being attacked by a giant wolf or something," I smirk. This just makes her more pissed.

Tatia was very interesting to me. While most of the people in my family resembled their actors enough that I could tell that it's them, Tatia looks exactly like Nina Dobrev. That made me think: is Nina Dobrev really some sort of magical doppelganger or is this just the world's strangest coincidence.

"Anyways, if there was anything strange happening with my family I'm sure your beloved Elijah would have told you by now."

She blushes at the mention of Elijah. "Well fine, I guess you are correct."

"In other news, how is little Annika?" I ask. Tatia's face becomes somber.

"It… it is hard, raising a child alone," she responds. "And she looks so much like her father that…"

As tears stream down her face I pull her into a hug as she sobs. The moment is cut short when I spot Elijah stomping towards me. The expression on his face is one of pure anger. Before he does anything stupid though, I glare at him sending him a mental command to stop as she is crying. He seems to get it and pauses his charge. Tatia finally stops crying and spies Elijah. She runs over to him and the two walk off.

"Oh, that hurts," I turn to see Klaus standing behind me watching Tatia and Elijah acting lovingly towards one another. He has a smile on his face, which is failing to mask the heartbreak he is feeling.

"Don't worry brother, there are plenty of fish in the sea," I console him.

"Fish? I was talking about Tatia."

"Well… I was saying…you know what? Never mind. Let's go get drunk."

I find Kol sleeping in the back of a merchant's cart. This particular merchant had left the village only a few hours ago. As with most travelling merchants, no one expected to ever see him again, and his pale lifeless body on the ground confirmed that.

I slap Kol's bloodied face, which jolts him awake.

"Ow!" he yells. "Who did that?"

When he spots me his anger dissipates.

"Oh," he begins to stretch. "What do you want?"

"You need to clean up your mess," I snap. Kol was by far the messiest eater out of all of us. It was because of his adamant refusal to just drain them of all their blood in one go. He would let them crawl around, bleeding out and calling for help. This posed a major problem for our family's attempt at keeping our vampirism a secret.

"Why? We can just say a wolf did it," he argued.

"Wolves eat their food, they don't drain it of blood."

"Ugh, if you care so much you just do it."

"I would, if it was my mess."

"You were never this controlling when we were humans."

"That's because I didn't have to worry about the village trying to kill us because we've been killing their family members."

"There's nothing to worry about. If they do decide to attack us, we can take them."

Realizing talking isn't going to work, I reveal my True Face and growl at him. He does the same in kind. He lunges at me but I shift out of the way. He rolls into a stop but before he can get up, I'm behind him. I grab his ankle and lift him up.

"Clean up your mess," I command. I drop Kol onto the ground and with a mumble he begins lighting a fire to burn the body and the cart.

As I walk back into the town Elijah, no longer with Tatia, walks up to me.

"Elijah, what would I have to do to get you to take over my role as the eldest?" He laughs at my request.

"Sorry Finn, but no amount of money would ever make me want to be in charge of our brothers and sister," he laughs again. "Too much hassle."

I laugh internally, knowing that in another world he was stuck as the eldest for centuries, cleaning up all their messes and dealing with a volatile Niklaus.

The sun begins to set and the moon starts to rise.

"Looks like it's going to be a full moon tonight," Elijah says. "We better head home."

I start moving when I remember something.

"Elijah, has Klaus killed anyone?"

"Uh yes, I think so."

I look at the moon; it's barely risen above the horizon, which means that I have a few hours at best.

"Start heading home, I'll catch up." I say. Before he can respond I dash off to find Tatia.

I find Tatia walking towards her home with a basket of wheat in her hand. She's humming a Viking song to herself. It's a ballad about impending doom. Oh the irony.

"Tatia!" she turns and smiles at me.

"Finn! What do you need?" I grab onto her arms.

"Tatia I am about to ask you to do something very strange, do you trust me?" She looks confused and a little scared.

"What is it?" she responds. I bite my thumb so blood starts dripping out of it.

"I need you to drink my blood."

She looks at me bewildered then her face morphs into a confused smile; probably thinking it's a bad joke. I continue to look at her with a dead serious expression.

"Oh, you're actually being serious," she says. "Well no, I will not drink your blood like some sort of cannibal."

She struggles to be released but I hold onto her tight.

"Tatia, I need you to do this okay?"

"Why?"

"I'll explain later. I just need you to do this now."

She stares at me for a bit then sighs.

"Fine, I trust you."

She takes the blood onto my finger then licks it. She seems disgusted by the taste.

"Are you happy?" she asks. I give her a weak smile before I dash off.

I search around behind the house for fresh looking dirt. I find a mound of dirt that looks recently placed and quickly dig it out with a shovel. I just hope she isn't dead.

I clear away the dirt as I begin to see the sign of pale skin. I lift Tatia's lifeless body out of the ground and lay her on the soft grass. She looks pale and dead.

Hurriedly I hold the pitcher of blood with me to her lips and tip it so that the warm liquid begins to go down her throat.

Her eyes snap open and she gasps before spitting up dirt and blood. With a sigh of relief I move away from the recently revived doppelganger.

MY relief is short-lived as Tatia turns her gaze before me and bares her new fangs. She lunges at me faster than any human could move and pins me to the ground. She snarls in my face blowing hot air into my eyes.

"Now, Tatia, you may have some questions-" Her snarling cuts me off.

"What did you do to me!" she yells.

"I granted you the gift of immortality. You cannot be killed. You are stronger and faster than anything alive. You are the most powerful being in the world. Well, aside from my siblings and I."

"Your siblings?" she furrows her brow in thought before it dawns on her. "Elijah."

Her grip loosens as she moves from on top of me. She reaches to her neck, touching the spot Elijah's fangs had sunk in.

"A monster…" she mumbles. Her expression changes from shocked back to angry as she glares at me yet again. "You turned me into a monster!"

"That's a harsh term," I reply standing up. She dashes at me but I catch her hand inches away from my face.

"We don't have time for this," I explain. "Mikael is already acting more unhinged than usual. It's not long till he snaps and kills everyone."

"What?"

"Listen, Tatia. You are no longer human. You drink blood. You cannot go out in the sunlight unless you are wearing this," I hand her a spare daylight ring I asked Esther to make for me. "The only thing that can kill you is a stake made of wood. I need you to go back to your village, pack your belongings and leave with Annika. Never return and never remove this ring."

As I list off my chain of demands her pupils dilate and she stops moving. She nods her head then leaves, moving at her highest speed.

I sigh to myself, satisfied. I was at least able to save Tatia, arguably one of the first victims of Mikaelson problems. And I was able to compel her successfully. I just need to figure out how to do that again.

"That could have gone better."

We all look at Kol with utter disbelief. He looks confused and raises his hands in defense.

"What? I'm just saying that this has all been a pretty big mess," he says.

"Which part, our father killing our mother or said father deciding it best to kill all of us too?" Rebekah retorts.

"Both," Kol's frank response causes Rebekah to glare at him.

"Speaking of father, do you think we have gone far enough?" Elijah asks. I look around at my siblings. Their faces are covered in soot and their clothes are ripped and singed.

"We've only been running for a few hours Elijah. Father could be on us any moment now," I explain. My answer doesn't seem to comfort him but that's not important right now.

"I'm hungry," Kol announces, to much chagrin. We were all hungry, none of us having eaten in almost a day.

"There aren't any people for a long while," I inform him. "We're probably going to have to resort to feeding on animals." The statement drew looks of disgust from the vampires.

"I tried it once," Elijah says through a gag. "It's several times worse than human blood."

"At the very least we won't be hungry," I argue. "I'd rather drink from a beast than starve with my pride."

The looks of disgust fade away and are replaced with ones of pained acceptance. Kol, however, still looks upset.

"Well, Finn, if I am to be degraded to the point of drinking from rats I at least want to know how long I will be forced to do that," he folds his arms. "Where are we going?"

I bring out one of the maps I purchased from merchants and open it to show my siblings my plotted course.

"There is a village westward of here that ships dock at," I point to a marked location on the map. "If we move at our top speed we should be there within the week. And from there, we just need to wait for the next boat to come, hop on it and escape Mikael's grasp."

"Wow," Kol responds. "You really seem to have planned this out."

"Yes… to an almost suspicious degree," I ignore Elijah's comment, trying to avoid further questions.

As we were about to continue moving, I hear a twig snap. We all dash behind trees and bushes as a horse drawn cart comes dragging through.

Seated at the head of the cart are a father and daughter, the latter of which looks to be no older than ten.

Fearing the worst I shift my sight to Kol. As expected, he is practically drooling at the sight of the two humans.

Kol bares his fangs and blurs at the pair but I intercept him and slam him into a tree.

"What's your problem?" he yells.

"We can't just kill people left and right," I explain. "If we leave a trail it will make it all the more easier for Mikael to find us."

"But we can hide the bodies!"

"Our father is a master hunter, and that was before he got heightened senses. No matter how well we try, he will be able to tell we were here. That's why we need to keep moving."

I let go of Kol and he reluctantly calms down. We make our way back to the others where a grim sight awaits me.

Rebekah and Klaus are taking turns draining the man of his blood while Elijah looks annoyed. When they see me coming they stop their feeding and the man's dead body falls to the ground.

"I tried to stop them," Elijah spoke up. "They were faster than me."

"Thank you Elijah," I turn my head to my bloody younger siblings. "You two…"

I scold the two of them, telling them the same thing that I told Kol. Said brother took advantage of the situation to take a drink of the man. I grab the back of his shirt and pick him up.

"Elijah, I know you are hungry," I gesture to the body and Elijah immediately sinks his fangs into the body. "Alright you two, what did you do with the girl? Did you feed from her?"

Rebekah looks disgusted. "Of course not! I would never kill a child."

"So you let her go?" I ask angrily. "What if Mikael finds her and she leads him here?"

"We'll be long gone by then," Rebekah responds. "And I don't understand your paranoia. There's five of us and one of him."

"And even before we got these abilities he was stronger than us, now that he has them I wouldn't be surprised if he was stronger than all of us combined. And he has the only piece of the white oak tree left so we have no way to kill him." I explain. "Our best bet is to get far enough away that he can't find us."

Rebekah looks at the ground defeated. I can see in her eyes that she still doesn't wholly agree with me but all I need from her is cooperation. Elijah finishes draining the body much to Kol's dismay. I turn my head to Klaus

"You haven't said a word since we left Niklaus. Anything you want to say?" I ask. He looks me dead in the eye with a face void of any expression.

"No."

I switch my attention from him to the dead man's now abandoned cart. There are bags full of grains and vegetables as well as a bag full of what I assume are their spare clothes. They are of no use to us. I search the man's body and find a small red pouch hanging off his belt. I pick it up and look inside, finding it to be filled with money. I shove the pouch into my bag and return my attention to my siblings who are idly standing around me.

"Elijah, your sword," Elijah quickly unsheathes his weapon and hands it to me. I look for the point that my siblings drank from him and with my great strength I sever the head from the body in one swing. For added effect I drive the blade through the corpse's stomach.

"Rebekah, take the bags and throw them across the road. Klaus, you take the man's clothes off and bury them somewhere. We need to make it look like he was attacked by bandits."

"Wouldn't burning him be easier?" Kol asks. I'm beginning to wonder how little he actually knows. He seems to be extremely naïve.

"Didn't father ever teach you anything?" Elijah asks for me.

"No, he was too busy beating NIk," Kol says humorously. I see the rest of my siblings flinch at his comment, Klaus especially.

"Kol, lighting a fire in the middle of the day would cause the smoke to become visible. Plus Mikael would be able to smell the burning flesh from leagues away."

Kol seems to understand what I said so Rebekah and Klaus act on their instructions while Elijah and Kol help. I look at the scene with a subdued smile.

On the show Finn didn't seem to have the respect of any of his siblings. He may have been the oldest but Klaus and/or Elijah had always taken up positions of leadership. Now, due to years of asserting my dominance, they listen to me and see me as the one in power.

Right now I was basically the leader of the most powerful group of people in the world.

Aside from the psycho murderer chasing me, life is good.

"One day Kol, just one more day and we could have gotten out of here. You couldn't stand just one day."

I stare at the gruesome sight in front of me. Kol is seated on the floor, his brown tunic drenched in blood, none of it his own. Around him lay dead bodies, all drained of every last drop of blood. I can make out the lifeless body of a smaller person in the shadows. A child.

He doesn't say a word he just stays seated on the ground, his blood covered mouth dripping ever so often creating a morbid rhythm. I run my hand through my overly long hair and let out a deep breath.

"At least you were able to wait this long before doing anything like this," I say relieved.

"It's not the first time," Kol responds, grabbing my attention. "There was another family last week. And a few merchants before that, and before that there was an old sailor, then a kid. Someone's wife at some point-"

He continues to list off different people he had killed and I stand there, my rage visible on my face. When we arrived in this town a month ago we all agreed that for the sake of keeping our identities secret it was better to feed off of animals for the duration of our stay here. It was a fairly large town what with it being a port so I could understand why I hadn't heard about this. We'd mostly been keeping to ourselves to avoid discovery. Or at least I'd thought that.

"Did you let any get away?" I ask worriedly.

"A few," he replies. "I'd be focused on feeding and they'd just silently slip away."

I dig my nails into my palms, drawing blood. I was starting to see why Klaus would dagger Kol. His feeding habits were completely contradictory to our attempts at staying hidden. I contemplate the situation; the fact that Kol has been seen feeding but we still haven't been chased off means that the people that he missed were either not from the town or were at least far enough away that they couldn't find their way back.

It's also possible that Mikael didn't find any of them. Being overly paranoid wouldn't get me anywhere so I slap my cheeks and hold out my hand to Kol.

"Let's find the others. The boat is leaving tonight."

He clasps my hand and I pull him to his feet then we walk out of the house, shutting the door behind us.

(Later)

That night we are all at the docks where a large ship is floating. The crew is finishing their preparations to set sail and we're waiting for them to finish. We were able to pay them, with the money we collected from the various bandits we came across, to take the five of us with them to wherever they're going.

I look over at Rebekah. She looked anxious and knew why. This was all of their first time on a boat and this was the furthest away they'd ever been from our home village. I decide to calm them down.

"Once we get on this boat we can take it easy," I say. "I heard the next boat coming through this town will arrive in six months time at the earliest. Once we get to wherever we're going we can take it easy for a while. Mikael shouldn't ever be able to find us where we're going to."

The last part is a lie but my words seem to dissuade their anxieties if only a little bit. We stand in silence as we wait for the ship to cast off.

"Fire," Klaus says. "I can hear the crackling of the flames."

I look over at my hybrid brother. His senses are more acute than the rest of us so it makes sense that he would be able to hear something we couldn't. A few seconds pass before the rest of us can hear the crackling of flames and by now smoke has started billowing into the sky. I begin to hear screams of terror as people begin to attempt to escape the burning embers, some failing to do so and being consumed by the fire.

"The town is on fire!" Elijah announces. I grimace. It's possible that this is just a random event but it's too similar to the tactics used by someone I did not want to see. We stare at the town as it began to burn, the inferno lighting up the night sky. I contemplate helping the people before deciding against it. If this fire wasn't an accident then we needed to get out of here quick.

The captain comes down from his ship. I can see that he's planning on delaying the boat's departure in order to aid the burning towns people. That can't happen. I grab him by his shoulders and look him square in the eyes. Please let this work.

"Captain you need to set sail as soon as possible. There is no time to help these people." I cheer internally as I watch his pupils dilate, indicating my attempt at compulsion was successful. The captain turns away from the tragedy and heads back to his boat ordering his men to finish doing their jobs.

"Siblings, we need to get onto the boat before the fire reaches us. If it's who I think it is then-"

"CHILDREN!" A voice bellows. I turn to look at a dark figure walking towards us through the burning town.

"Mikael." I growl. I turn back to my siblings. "All of you get onto the boat. I'll hold him off."

"You told me all five of us couldn't take him. What chance do you have?"

"Don't worry," I smile. "I know what I'm doing."

I gesture to Elijah to hand me his sword and he does so.

"Always and forever, brother,'' he says.

"I wasn't a part of that Elijah."

As I walk off towards our slowly approaching father my brothers and sister retreat to the boat.

"Mikael!" I yell. I storm towards him, the fire continuing to rage all around us. Mikael looks at me, white oak stake in hand and an angry scowl on his face.

"Finn," he says with spite. "You and your siblings have been insubordinate."

"Well what can you say, we would prefer to continue living."

"Then why get in my way?" Mikael continues. "I have no discourse with you or any of my true born children. It is the dog bastard that I am after."

His statement catches me off guard. I had always assumed that Mikael was trying to kill all his children, not just Klaus. If that wasn't the case then it means that my memory of the show isn't completely correct. There are tons of other things about this world I could have misremembered. That could pose a problem.

Nevertheless, should I let Mikael kill Klaus? Is canon as important as letting a psycho murderer run around for the next millennia? And Mikael is pretty bad too. But I have no guarantee that he isn't just lying to get my guard down. If I were to take him to Klaus, what's stopping him from just turning around and attacking me? And if he were to use the stake on Klaus that would get rid of most of the white oak, at least for the next thousand years or so. But on the other hand-

"Since you are yet to move aside, I will take that as an act of defiance." He raises the stake. "Believe me, son, I take no pleasure in this."

I am brought out of my musings by the sudden jab at my heart. I shift to the right just in time and Mikael goes careening off into the walls of a house. I am given not a moment of rest when he barrels out of the inflamed building in my direction. He swings the stake at my head and I duck.

Mid attack he changes his weapons trajectory and brings it down on my now lowered back. I roll out of the way and spring to my feet just in time to grab his arm mere inches away from my face. He growls deeply as he pushes the stake closer and closer I struggle to hold back against his immense strength.

With a roar I swing the sword with my right arm and in one quick motion I bury it into his forearm. His increased vampire durability means that I am unable to separate it completely but the immense pain causes him to let go of the stake.

I scoop it up off the floor and take a few steps back to get into a stance. I can see his arm already repairing itself and the pain subsiding. Before either of us can make our next move there is a loud snap and a burning piece of a wooden roof crashes down between us. Embers fly off the rubble and into my eyes blinding me. I immediately feel Mikael ramming into me and tackling me to the ground. I let go of the sword as I fly back. We crash onto the ground as my eyes finish healing.

Mikael pins me down and pulls his arm back for a punch. I turn my head just in time for his fist to lodge itself into the ground. He tries again with his other hand but that too gets shoved into the earth. I take advantage of his moment of vulnerability and head-butt him so hard he is launched off of me.

I push myself to my feet and look around for the abandoned white oak stake. I spot it a few meters away from me, about to be engulfed by flames. I prepare to leave but I see Mikael spot it as well. He sprints for it and I run after him. I leap forwards and grab onto his legs causing him to fall down face first in the dirt. Unfortunately his hand is close enough to the stake for him to grab onto it. He kicks me off with his enhanced strength and jumps to his feet.

He runs at me and before I am able to stand up he grabs me by my leg, lifts me up, then Hulk slams me into the ground. I feel my ribs break immediately from the impact and the force of his attack slightly craters the ground. But he's not done with me. He picks me up by my shirt and rams his fist into my face. My vision blurs and blood flies as he punches me again and again. By the time he stops I've lost count of how many times he's punched me. He drops my body to the ground. And haphazardly rubs his bloodied fist.

I slowly stand up, my healing factor playing catch up to the usually fatal amount of damage Mikael has done to me. I slowly swing my fist at him, my center of balance being messed up by his barrage of punches. I miss and the momentum sends me back onto the ground.

"How disappointing," Mikael says with a fake pained look. "Even after all this time, you haven't improved at all. You need to move faster."

He turns from me and walks away in the direction of the boat. I lay in the ground slowly healing and beaten. His words echo in my mind: 'You need to move faster.' My healing factor goes into overdrive as my anger at his words pumps adrenaline into my blood. I reveal my true face and let loose a roar. I dash at Mikael's retreating and drive him head first into the ground. Without giving him a moment to react I raise my foot up and bring it down on his head, snapping his neck. I pick up his body, stake still in his hand, and toss him into one of the countless burning homes. With quick precision I destroy the building's foundation and bring the ignited mess down onto Mikael's body.

I wait there for a minute, waiting for his hand to smash out of the rubble like in a movie but nothing happens. With a deep breath I decide that it's safer to leave now than to risk him getting out and killing me immediately. I turn and pick up Elijah's sword then blur towards the ship.

Once I'm on the vessel they cast off. I hand Elijah back his sword and look at Klaus. He averts my gaze, deciding that the mast of the ship deserves his attention.

"Are you alright?" Elijah asks worriedly. He looks at my face. "Is that his blood?"

"No, it's all mine," I chuckle.

"You could've died," Rebekah states.

"But I didn't."

"Did you kill him?" Kol asks. I look back at the burning town.

"Probably not." I sigh. "As expected he is stronger than me. Impossibly so. I think he was toying me for most of the fight. I could only get away by catching him by surprise."

"Well at least we don't have to deal with him any time soon." Rebekah sighs. "He won't know where we're headed."

"Speaking of which…" I cup my hands around my mouth. "Captain! Where is this boat headed?"

He looks at me with a glint in his eye, "We sail to France."

Huh.

There is a bunch of stuff in this chapter that I'm not sure about such as Klaus' hybrid transformation. The wiki didn't go into depth about how that event played out so I probably got some stuff wrong. And I feel that some of of the character motives, namely Mikael's, might be a bit off. But any changes to characterisation of the Mikaelsons is a result of the SI's influence.
