While I work on the next chapter for Rex X Nia Vs The World, here is something to enjoy before the next chapter comes out.

Note:

In this story, I'm not trying to establish any romantic feelings between Rex and Mythra. In my mind, Nia is still Rex's waifu. ;)

There wasn't a time that Rex walked by that Mythra didn't feel guilty. It had been a month since they saved the world, but the only thing that Mythra could think about was how she had been so mean to Rex over their adventure. She had slapped him, thrown things at him, and simply called him names. The list went on and on.

And although she had been such a jerk to him, he was still so kind to her. But she didn't deserve it. And, to complicate matters, Rex and Nia had gotten engaged only two days ago. She was far from oblivious about her feelings toward Rex. She loved him. But why was she so mean to him??

She asked that question to herself a lot. She loved him, yet she was so mean to him. Why? Why? Why? More than anything, Mythra wanted to talk to him. Talk to him about how she had been to mean to him. And ask for his forgiveness. Only there was a problem. Nia.

Everyday since Rex proposed to Nia, they had never been apart. Of course, it was cute, but it was an obstacle.

It was impossible for Mythra to find a good time to talk with Rex. Nia was always with him. But could she really blame them? They were in love. To be honest, sometimes Mythra thought that her attitude had driven Rex away. But inside her, she knew that he simply didn't love her. He loved Nia.

It wasn't until a day later that Mythra got her chance to talk to him. Nia was spending the day with Pyra, so Rex was free for the day. She waited a bit to (mentally) prepare herself, then made her move.

Rex was sitting in his living room, reading, when he heard a knock at the door. He put his book to the side and walked to the door. Upon opening it, he saw Mythra.

"Hi, Mythra. What can I do for you?" He asked.

" hi Rex. I was hoping we could talk about something. " she said.

"Of course." He replied , and he motioned for her to come inside.

She sat down on his couch, and he settled in a chair opposite her.

"So what's up?" He asked.

" Well, " she began, "all throughout out journey together, I was always so mean to you. At the time, I though that what I was doing was right, but now, looking back, I know I was a jerk to you. I wish I hadn't been that way. Even Pyra scolded me about it. I used to think that it was my attitude that made you fall for Nia and not me, but I know that it isn't true. You just love Nia.

" Rex, I just want to apologize for how I acted toward you. I probably don't deserve it, but do you think you could give me another chance to be kind to you? "

"Mythra, of course I'll give you another chance. I'm your driver. I'll give you as many chances as you need." He said.

"Thank you, Rex. Thank you so much." She smiled At him , and he smiled back.

"Well, I should probably get going. Thank you again, Rex." Mythra said.

" Anytime, Mythra. See ya. "

With that she left, and Rex got about ten more minutes of reading before Nia entered. His heart soared.

Btw, my feelings toward the character of Mythra hasn't changed. I still think she's a straight up asshole, but in this story I tried to change her a bit. Hope you guys enjoyed.
