Part 3

The sky began to darken with the winds picking up. He soon stood up and moved from the water falls now fully dressed.

"What are the four animals?"

"The sacred animals are Phoenix, Tiger, Tortoise and Wolf." after speaking these words, Tiger eyes began to glow with her silver hair gleaming when an erhu appeared. The eerie sound began to fill the air. The sky changed back to normal. The gazed to Tiger and noticed he was wearing a headband as everyone gasped in shock. The song ended the instrument faded along with the headband. Hanguangjun moved to place a hand on his shoulder. He blinks remembering something that was back in the library. He came to and saw everyone staring at him.

"Why is everyone staring at me? Did I do something wrong again?" asks looking to them all as he staggered to his feet then gained his balance once again. They all just stayed silent as they headed back to gusu. He reverted back to his female form and went to rest.

"Could she be?"

"What are you talking about Lan Zhan?" He grabbed Wei Wuxian hand and both raced to the library. He moved to the books. "Why are we here?" asks as while Hanguganjun ignored him in the middle of going through the books.

"It has to be here." says grabbing up a few books moving to the table and began reading. "There is a legend of how the lands got started." He read quietly while Wei Wuxian grabbed some of the books learning of the past.

Meanwhile the students were a bit worried for their teachers as they watched them in the library.

"I wonder what got them on edge."

"Why did Tiger have a headband like ours?" Two of the students gazed to each other as one looked to them.

"Our teacher will find the answer. Let's leave them be."

"Are you sure Jinyi? They look like they seen something like a ghost."\ JInyi gave his famous smirk with his arms folded.

"Hmph, you dunno our teachers that well. They can handle it. Come on let's go back to our studies. I'll teach the class while they are busy."

Back in Tiger's room, she rested as visions of the past filled her dreams. Yuxian and Suzhui placed the covers on her shoulder.

"We should let her rest. Class has started." Yuxien nodded as they both left her to rest and began walking down the hall. In the room, her sword began to twitch and released her tiger cub. The cub grew into a white tiger. Her eyes shot open soon sitting up making her way down the hall with her Tiger at her side. Nie spotted Tiger and called out but she didn't hear him as she continued down the hall with her tiger. She looked like angel making her way out or the waterfalls at the highest looking over all of Gusu with her Tiger at her side as she sat on the cliff with the wind blowing through her silver hair.

In the library, Hanguangjun was reading still while Wei wuxian was asleep with a pile of books next to him.

"FOUND IT! Weiying…" He shook his right arm.

"AHH!" he screamed then looked to Lanzhan." You scared me. What did you find?" asks as he stretched moving close to him and blinks." She mentioned about the scared animals. Not knowing they were a sect of their own."

"Yeah, it says here that the Tiger clan and Lans are united. Then there were Phoenix clan that protected never night. The Tortoise was of the cave." They looked at each other remembering the adventure of fighting the Tortoise and defeating the Phoenix. Tiger protects Gusu and the Wolf protects Yumeng." Wei wuxian frowned.

"That Figures." says dryly folding his arms. "That's why my brother and Jin Ling favor dogs so much."

"Where is Tiger now?"

In class, Jinyi was teaching the class when Nie stopped in the door as they turned to him with lifted brows.

"Sorry to disturb you, Tiger left her room and headed for the mountains with her white tiger."

"WHAT?!" Yuxien and Suzhui exclaimed at the same time standing when WeioWuxian and Hanguangjun arrived.

"Where is Tiger?"

"Nie said she headed for the mountains with her tiger."

"I can use my wolf to find her." Says as Wei wuxian moved to him." What? Do I have something on my face?"

"Never mind him, see if your wolf can find her. She could be in danger" Yuxien nodded summoning his sword taking the talisman off. His wolf appeared.

"Find my sister." The wolf padded in the direction. The group use torches to light their way through the wooded area then stopped seeing in front of them was like a dream. Everything was white even the trees with falling silver blossoms like rain giving it such a tranquil and calm feeling. The wolf sat outrside the beautiful sight. "It seems its protected."

"I wonder..." Wei Wuxian moved forward reaching a hand to touch when he was stopped by Lan zhan. He remembered the time he was about to touch the death strings. "What?" looking innocent as Lan zhan sighs gazing to him.

"You haven't changed at all. Let me try something first." Summoned his qin letting his hands rest upon the strings as he concentrated. He began to strum a song as it echoed through then could hear the eerie sound of the erhu replying back as the barrier faded. He stood up calling off his qin as they soon entered. The lands were more beautiful taking in the scenery. They noticed their clothing was the shimmering silver with the headbands matching. Their hair even turned silver here. All were in awe at each other then gazed to Hanguangjun not saying a word. The silver hair with his golden eyes made him more majestic while Wei Wuxian looked at his angel screaming internally. The erhu played guiding them along and soon arrived to the water falls. The waterfall made an opening for them to enter where they saw her sitting with her hair draping her shoulders. She turned to face them as they gasped. Her eyes were the same as Lan zhan's.

"Yup you can tell their related."

"Is she an Auntie?"

"That will be awesome." Jinyi said as she gazed to them with a soft smile giving a bow to them in respect. They did the same.

"May come to a shock seeing me huh?" soft giggle escaped her lips. "I am the ancient of the forest. You already know of your Lan ancestors. My clan watched over the lands keeping them beautiful. Your Ancestor Lan An was my beloved. We made an oath. I would watch over the lands while he tended to the Lan clan. As an oath we made these headbands as our bond. "She informed to them. " I'm happy to see that the clan is still flourishing. No worries of the danger and…." She gazed to Yuxien. "I hope you staying out of trouble dear brother. " She jested as he stood up in his grey flowing robes with his wolf next to him. He smirked as she giggled some.

"Tiger, the books written in the library, are some written by you?"

"Music was written by Lan An. I was admirer of his song and played. He played his qin while I played my erhu." informed to them. "We will be returning the stars back to normal. I am happy that I was able to meet you all. Say let us play a melody all of us. What song though?"

"We know one." The two began to play the melody. Tiger smiled letting the music of her erhu while her brother began to deep throat singing giving a unique sound while the students joined in. This was their song as they played through the night.

"That's right you got a curfew. I don't want to hold you. All the stories you want to know are in the library. You guys enjoy the rest of the night. We are always here to help." says leading them back outside of the barrier. Her spirit left Tiger and Yuxien as they joined their class. They hugged their friends then gazed back to them as they waved.

Back in Gusu, they were back in their regular garb as Wei Wuxian frowned gazing to them.

"I miss your silver hair."

"Aww Dad. It's not that bad." He pouted childishly at Sizhui. Tiger chuckled at the two.

"If he wants his hair silver, I can…" Yuxien covered his sister mouth as he gave a chuckle.

"You're not helping." says as they all chuckled." Well now you know who we are. Shall we stay here or should I go to yunmeng." Yuxien asked as Wei Wuxien looked to him.

"You're both family. Why don't you stay?"

"Really… but you afraid of dogs." says as the group chuckled again as Wei Wuxian looked to them.

"What did you fine out." Jin Ling asked for he didn't want to follow them. Yuxien moved to him

"I am your brother." He hugged him as Jin Ling was confused when Fairy growled at him. He kneeled on one knee letting Fairy take in his scent. Fairy relaxed and barked his greeting to him. He patted his head.

"It's a long story." Wei Wuxian says as they chuckled.
