Gentle Criminal. Izuku Midoriya. Both foes stood toe to toe, ready for the conflict that was to occur between the pair. Midoriya felt a cold sweat as he faced down this man. He seemed like someone who only caused trouble for the most part. But he chose the worst time to cause trouble. U.A. was already under a lot of pressure with constant villain attacks sneaking through. What would happen if the alarm sounded? Midoriya could only come to one conclusion, if the alarm had sounded for any reason, then it's likely the school festival as a whole will be cancelled. Midoriya could feel himself begin to panic as he came upon the realisation. But he wouldn't let this man bring an end to all the hard work the class had put in, nor would he allow him to rob a girl of her smile. Midoriya planted his feet as he began to speak.

"Please... stop it..." the green-haired boy only merely uttered those words as he thought back to Eri, remembered her excitement. "Please, stop..." he repeated. "Don't make a move on my school!" the boy finished.

"You're a very perceptive boy." Gentle responded, as he prepared to fight the green-haired boy ahead of him.

'Saturday morning, no people around... There are almost no hero agencies near U.A... I can't expect any back up. I should ask someone at the store to call the police-' Midoriya paused as he remembered his prior realisation. 'No... I'll need to do this myself!' Midoriya began to enter full cowling as he steeled himself for what was to come.

"La Brava, there's been a change of plan. From this moment on, no matter what happens, don't stop the camera!" Gentle announced to his associate.

"Of course, Gentle!" The girl responded, pulling a camera out from under her cloak. "But, but... are you really going to fight here? Do you think that's a good idea?" She questioned, unsure of what they were doing was the right decision.

"Dear listeners! The grand adventure of a man of extraordinary talent is starting." Gentle announced to the camera as he took his overcoat off. "Don't be so dazzled you look away. I am a gentleman thief who will save the world, Gentle Criminal! My plans have shifted. In this current predicament, I'll keep it brief. This time... I tried going into U.A.!" The white-haired man yelled whilst posing towards the camera, earning an excited squeal from La Brava.

'That's so unsophisticated!' Midoriya couldn't help but look in confusion at the act. Before once again preparing himself for combat. "I won't let you do that!" He yelled as he charged towards the man ahead of him. Only to feel resistance against his body.

"I put this up as I took off my overcoat! If you've watched my videos, then you should already know... My quirk is Elasticity. I bestow elasticity to things I touch, and that can include the very air around us. Watch as I... GENTLE REBOUND!" Gentle yelled, as he gently pushed the elastic air as Midoriya was sent back flying. "I don't like resolving things through violence." Gentle announced to the camera as it was pointed at the destruction left in his wake.

"You're acting so violent it's almost nasty, Gentle." La Brava couldn't help but admit.

"I am also in the midst of surprise and confusion right now, La Brava. That is, this speed and power is startling and unexpected from his appearance. I'm sorry young man! I will overcome!" Gentle yelled as he began to make a dash towards U.A. with his partner in tow.

"If you're going to apologise, then don't attack my school!" Midoriya yelled in response, once again charging towards the villain.

"That is not something I can do!" The moustached man responded, as he jumped touching the ground. "Gently trampoline!" As he yelled, the ground in front of him began to shake as Midoriya ran directly into it, flying high into the air. "When I was a student, I too worked hard to put on events. I'm sure you have feelings invested in this too, but they can't win against my moustache and my soul! This scheme is a big step toward my becoming a legend. Please don't get in my way!" Gentle proclaimed, before continuing. "Farewell, glimmer of youth!" as he used his quirk to leap through the air with his partner.

"Gentle, I remember now! That boy is Izuku Midoriya! He broke his arms as he fought in the sports festival. He's a crazy boy!" La Brava announced as they leapt away.

"Insanity! I'd better not get involved!" Gentle responded, wearing an expression of shock. "Before he finishes warming up, we will carry out the plan!" he stated, as he turned to the camera and began speaking once again. "Dear listeners! 'I tried going into U.A.' will now switch to being a race against the clock!" He announced as he leapt further and further away from Midoriya.

As Midoriya fell, he stretched out his hand as if preparing to attack, as his mind flashed back to the day Eri visited U.A., and the day he promised her he'd perform.

"Deku, Jiro, you're leaving already?" Eri asked the pair.

"Sorry, we have to practice." Midoriya responded as he leant down to be eye-level with the girl.

"On the day of, once Midoriya and Jiro are done, the four of us can walk around together!" Togata announced.

"Deku... Jiro... Lemillion... I'm getting excited." Eri responded, a small smile dawning on her face.

Midoriya continued falling, as he remembered all the hard work his classmates had put in for this day. His thoughts drifted to his girlfriend, Jiro as he remembered all the work she had put in, not only for herself but for the rest of the band team. He couldn't help but remember the night prior, as she held him tightly, telling him all her fears and doubts, he remembered all the work she put into the advice books for the other band members. Whilst it's true that Jiro's music could save Eri. The performance could also save her, give her a reason to be proud of her music. Jiro's earnest, excited smile flashed through his mind, filling him with resolve. He would not let this man into U.A., and he would not let him ruin all that they had worked for.

"GENTLE CRIMINAL!" Midoriya yelled out, as the man looked back at the boy. 'I have to stop him!' He had practiced, he had been practicing all month to get this right, and he still couldn't do it properly. But now wasn't the time for doubts or mistakes. It was now or never. 'I need to land... Calm down! I'll mess up if I panic. I have to stop him. I need to land... both are...'

2 Hours Prior:

As Midoriya practiced with All Might, a familiar voice came through the trees.

"Midoriya! AH! I knew you'd be here! Here it is, the finished product, here's the manual, now I gotta go!" Yelled an excited Hatsume as she was gone as quickly as she came.

"Is this the item you requested?" All Might queried. Midoriya nodded, as All Might continued speaking. "Well, what are we waiting for, let's give them a try!"

Present:

'It's better if I have more options...' Midoriya thought to himself as his gloves opened up, and Midoriya fired a focused air blast towards the villain, knocking him out of the air.

"A-An air cannon!?" Gentle muttered in disbelief.

"All right!" Midoriya yelled to himself.

"But it's not good enough to stop me! I... will not... be discouraged!" Gentle yelled as he continued to leap away. However, landing a hit had given Midoriya enough time to land and leap after him, as Midoriya then proceeded to tackle the man. "We're all invested in this!" He yelled toward the villain.

"My apologies then!" Gentle responded, a smug grin on his face as the pair crashed into a nearby construction site.

Hearing a crash, a nearby civilian looked up towards the construction site and muttered to himself. "I smell trouble."

"Don't worry about it Mister! We are just filming something here! Do you think you can tell your neighbours?" La Brava quickly interjected, trying to ease the already bad situation.

Midoriya quickly landed on his feet, as he prepared to continue his fight with Gentle. 'Where is he?' Midoriya wondered.

"This is certainly... an unexpected situation!" Midoriya heard the voice of the villain behind him, as he turned around to see him hanging off a steel beam with his coat. "However, I will not lose my composure!" Gentle laughed to himself.

"How can you still be like that?!" Midoriya responded angrily.

"I will definitely make my plan succeed! I have the resolve to do it! A gentleman does not lose his composure!" Gentle responded.

'Resolve... he's showing no sign of giving up...' Midoriya considered what the best course of action was whilst Gentle continued to speak.

"That's right! I am Gentle Crimina-"

"You're no gentlemen!" Midoriya interrupted. "You're planning to do something to U.A., right?" Midoriya looked up at the man with resolve in his eyes, before continuing. "What are you planning?"

Gentle chuckled to himself lightly as he responded. "What am I planning? Please don't lump me with those people from the League of Villains."

'Gentle... my beloved Gentle!' La Brava was hastily making her way to the point of conflict, a deep fear in her gut as she ran.

"I am not trying to kidnap or stab anyone. All I want is to sneak into your school festival. That's all."

'Please! Don't lose... Gentle!' La Brava finally made it up to the same level as Gentle and Midoriya, as Gentle began to speak once more.

"Let me go young man!"

'He's pleading for his life!' La Brava couldn't help but expect this, but didn't know how react regardless.

"You know that we're on emergency alert, don't you?! Even before you sneak in, if someone like you is found, the alarm will sound!" Midoriya yelled in response, poised to strike at any moment. "The school festival will be cancelled, and you'll have nowhere to run! Just give up!" the green-haired boy pleaded.

"Oh-ho, in that case, it'll be fine. My partner has devised a way to disable the alarm sensors. It won't be cancelled. Our plan can succeed. It's a win-win situation!" Gentle announced, sure that the boy would accept the situation.

"That's an even bigger problem!" Midoriya rebuttled.

"That's true." Gentle bluntly accepted. "But yes, that is my plan! Before it becomes too troublesome, I would like to continue on my way."

"I've already called the police! I'll keep you here until the and the heroes arrive!" Midoriya proclaimed, hoping the criminal would willingly give up over the bluff.

"We'll never agree. While the aftertaste of the tea remains, I'll have you go to sleep, U.A. student!" Gentle yelled, as he began to bounce around the construction site.

Midoriya once again, prepared to strike the villain with his air force. 'Predict the opponent's movements, and...' Midoriya paused for a moment as he attempted to predict when to strike, but he couldn't find an opening with how much the man was bouncing around. 'I can't predict them at all!' Beginning to panic, Midoriya attempted to predict regardless, only for it to barely miss and rebound, hitting Midoriya, as Gentle Criminal continued to bounce around the construction site.

"If they're air bullets, then I'll return them with air membranes." Gentle stated as he activated his quirk once again, continuing to bounce around.

"Gentle, it's sad, but you should retreat!" La Brava announced from the side lines, still recording the entire endeavour.

Landing on top of a steel beam, Gentle began to respond. "No, La Brava. Not yet."

'I need to catch him!' Midoriya began to charge towards Gentle at full speed. Taking a moment for himself, Gentle activated his quirk on the steel beam he had been standing on, whilst taking the opportunity to remove the bolts from said beam.

"Whoops! You must listen to what I say. I cannot cancel the effects of my quirk of my own volition. Things return to their original state gradually. Steel beams regaining their firmness while still keeping some unnatural bounce. And the one I'm standing on with all its bolts removed. At this rate, the steel beam will fall. It is quite dangerous." Gentle informed the green-haired boy. Hearing this, Midoriya looked towards the ground below them, noticing a curious on-looker. His eyes widened as he realised what the villain was doing. "You are a student of U.A.. There's no way you can ignore a steel beam falling." Gentle proclaimed, as the beam began to fall, only to be caught by Midoriya, nearly crushing him under the weight.

As Midoriya struggled under the weight of the beam, he began to speak. "You were trying to drop it on the person below?!" Anger filled the boys expression as he stared down at the villain.

"No. I just wanted to pull you in. I was always planning on making it bounce back so it wouldn't fall. I thought you'd head toward the bottom, but I see you really do have frightening speed and power. It pains me to say this, but please stay there and bear it patiently. I'm sure someone will notice by the time I finish filming." Gentle stated, as he used his quirk on a nearby crane in order to leap towards U.A. once again. Before the pair leapt away, he spoke once more. "My partner has devised a way to disable the alarm sensors. I'll sneak into the school festival."

'No, don't let him go!' Midorya thought to himself, as he watched the man preparing to leave.

1 hour and 15 minutes remained until the performance, and all of Class 1-A was getting nervous. They all sat together, psyching themselves up for what was to come. Jiro was sitting with a band team, but she couldn't shake a bad feeling off her chest. Midoriya still hadn't come back, and she wasn't able to contact him.

"Hey Yaomomo... don't you think Izuku should be back by now." Jiro asked, she couldn't hide the slight distress in her voice.

"Now that you mention it, he probably should be... that's quite worrying actually..." Yaoyorozu admitted.

Jiro's frown deepened. Was he okay? Did Midoriya get hurt? Jiro couldn't shake the feeling that something had gone wrong.

"Does anyone know where Midoriya actually went?" Jiro asked her fellow classmates, she knew he had gone to get some things for Eri, but she wasn't quite sure where.

"Damn Deku went to get a rope for the performance! And some ingredients for something! I ran into him this morning before he left. The idiot better hurry up though!" Bakugo yelled angrily.

"I knew that, but do you know where he went." Jiro replied, she was honestly worried about her boyfriend, she was planning on going to where he had gone to make sure everything was alright.

"There's only one store he could get a rope at this time. It's the one that opens at 8 AM Jiro." Yaoyorozu chimed in, with an earnest smile.

Jiro knew the store she was referring too, it was really the only place he could've gone.

"I... I think I'm gonna go check on him... if he's not here we can't perform anyway. So I'll be back soon I hope!" Jiro announced as she handed her bass guitar to Yaoyorozu, and ran off.

"Don't take too long Jiro!" Yaoyorozu yelled into the distance as she ran.

Midoriya watched as Gentle Criminal, alongside his accomplice, La Brava leapt towards U.A. once again.

"Our plans have changed, La Brava, but if they're on their guard and I still manage to sneak in, then I will become even more well-known! As a man who accomplished a great feat!" Gentle proclaimed to his partner.

Midoriya watched in the distance as his opponent got further and further away from him. He once again thought of his classmates, he thought of Jiro and Eri. Summoning every ounce of his strength, Midoriya held the beam up with one hand, and fired an air blast with his other hand towards the villain, with Gentle swiftly dodging, losing his footing in the process.

"He's tenacious!"

"Neither you nor that boy will give up, huh?" La Brava spoke, before pausing, watching as the green-haired boy lowered the beam to the floor, before continuing. "Let's use it Gentle... my quirk..."

Midoriya rested the beam on the ground as he prepared the chase the man in front of him. "If I don't hurry up and go after them..." Midoriya jumped down onto a still existing elastic area in the air. 'It's not visible, but traces of the quirk still remain.' Midoriya recalled what the villain had said prior, he couldn't cancel his quirk, Midoriya could use this to his advantage if he played his cards right. Midoriya made his way to the crane, still swinging back and forth due to the affects of Gentle's quirk. Utilising this Midoriya leapt onto the crane and was once again in pursuit of the man. 'Watch carefully... watch where he leaps... watch where he places his quirk.'

Gentle began swiftly attempting to land after losing his footing.

"He's on our tail Gentle!" La Brava yelled, panic beginning to fill her voice.

Gentle briefly pondered using the girls quirk before speaking. "La Brava, if possible, I want to save your quirk for our retreat."

"But, but, Gentle! At this rate, it's highly possible you'll fail!" La Brava quickly responded, as worry and panic intertwined in her voice.

"I know that! Because it's a race against the clock this time." Gentle took a moment to gather himself. He turned to see the very green-haired boy right on his tail. "He's too fast!" Gentle spouted.

'Earlier, he lost his footing because of my air bullets. In order to recover from that and land, he put up two air membranes.' Midoriya paused as he began attempted to replicate Gentle's landing. 'One above this tree on the left!' Midoriya bounced off to the side of Gentle preparing to fire an air bullet. Realising this Gentle placed an air membrane where he saw Midoriya. Predicting this, Midoriya turned his attention to the second air membrane Gentle had made attempting to land, firing his air bullet there, as it rebounded and struck Gentle in his chest, causing the man to yell in pain and fall to the ground. Using this momentary pause, Midoriya landed and leapt towards the pair, holding them both down on the ground.

"Don't resist! Please, just give up." Midoriya yelled, he really just wanted the man to leave. He didn't want the festival to be cancelled, he didn't want Jiro to be disappointed or Eri to lose the smile she may otherwise have.

'The usual Gentle would've run away when he was discovered. His desires and feelings ended up hurting him...' La Brava began to tear up at the thought. To La Brava, Gentle was her only hero, her only light in this otherwise dark and terrible world. Realising he wouldn't give up, she knew what she needed to do.

"I will hand you two over to the police as soon as I can!" Midoriya resolved, he could feel Gentle still struggling under his grasp, but didn't let up.

As he held the pair underneath him, he heard the girl mutter something, something he couldn't hear. "I love you Gentle." Shortly after hearing this muttering, Midoriya could feel the power in Gentle rising, as he began to push back against him.

"What...? His strength..." Midoriya wasn't sure what was happening, but he was certain that the man had suddenly got a boost in strength. Was it his partners quirk?

"Sorry young man." Gentle used his new boost in strength to escape from underneath Midoriya alongside his partner. "I don't like using brute force, so I always cut scenes like this." Gentle approached the young man ahead of him, now laying on the ground in pain. "Please sleep for me for a while." Gentle swiftly struck the boy in the back of the neck, and began walking away, thinking he had knocked him out.

"I've... fought against stronger... faster people..." Midoriya muttered, as Gentle looked back in disbelief and fear. "I... haven't lost yet!" Midoriya proclaimed as he prepared an attack with his fingers.

Meanwhile, somewhere up the mountain, Jiro was heading down, on route to the same store Midoriya was heading too. She couldn't hide her growing fear and worry growing in her chest. She had expected to run into him somewhere up ahead, but he was still no where to be found. Panicking, she began to run, she wanted to find her boyfriend. In the background she could hear Present Mic yelling, announcing that the U.A. festival would begin. At the same time, Jiro could hear something in the distance, it sounded like a large gust of wind. Her eyes widened. 'Midoriya... are you fighting?!' Jiro's fears grew as she could hear what sounded like fighting in the distance. "No... Izuku... I don't want you to hurt yourself again... please... stop..." Jiro whispered to herself as she ran, expecting the worst, Jiro began to speed up, as she hastily began to head to where she could hear fighting, her heart was pounding, and tears began falling down her cheeks.

Midoriya fired an air bullet with Gentle swiftly dodging. Using the momentary pause in movement, Midoriya got back onto his feet and charged Gentle once more. Attempting to stop the boy, Gentle charged back towards him, as Midoriya began to speak. "Please, just stop!" The two began to clash in the air, rapidly jumping around the terrain.

"Gentle! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! My love... my love wasn't enough!" La Brava yelled, tears flowing down her cheeks.

Gentle could feel a slight anger rise within him. "No one has proved that your love was not enough!" he yelled in response, as he prepared an attack for the boy who was currently charging at him. "Gently sandwich!" Gentle yelled as he stacked air membranes on top of each other, throwing them down at Midoriya, causing him to crash into the ground. "A sandwich is deemed more elegant the thinner it is. I don't like piling layer upon layer... But even so, I want to fulfill... the fleeting dream of my middle years. To leave my name in history! For posterity! This dream is no longer a dream I hold for myself! Today, I take the first step toward my great work. It's not so trivial that I can just give it up when someone tells me to. If you're a U.A. student, then you must understand my yearning for my dream." Gentle proclaimed, as he stood upon the air membranes trapping Midoriya. Midoriya struck the ground, and escaped underneath as he once again began to charge at the villain.

"Why? If you understand so much, then why the school festival? Why would you trample on everyone's hopes?!" Midoriya yelled as he he began to pull Gentle to the ground via his coat. Midoriya could not mask the anger in his voice. This man was willing to put an end to all the hard work everyone had put in for his own selfish dream. Gentle pulled his coat back up and began to reply.

"That's because that's how it is!"

Midoriya began to shove Gentle to the ground as he once again spoke. "If it's for your dream, then you can steal people's hard work and passion, and the smile of a girl who doesn't know how to smile yet?!" Midoriya's anger was rising more and more with each passing second. As they fell, Gentle prepared another air membrane, bouncing the hero in training off of him.

"If that means... I can make my dream come true!" Gentle could feel a clash in idealogy, he could feel the boys strong will and determination, but he would not give up, he had a similar will. Gentle couldn't help but recall how he got to this position, how his life had gone wrong and how he had given up on his dream. He wouldn't give up on it again. Gentle rapidly charged at the boy, bouncing around striking him over and over, whilst Midoriya could only block.

Jiro had gotten closer to the battle. She could hear the fighting much clearer now, and it only cemented the fact that Midoriya was fighting for her. She continued to run in panic, wanting to help her boyfriend, stop him from getting hurt, as she could hear a man speak.

"You can mock me and say that I'm mentally weak! That's fine!" Gentle charged at the boy once more, as the two became interlocked in a clash.

"I won't mock you, Gentle Criminal." Midoriya responded, a look of determination filled his eyes.

Jiro's could feel her fear grow even more as she heard Midoriya's voice. He was fighting... someone was fighting with Midoriya, and he was doing all that he could to stop them. Tears continued to flow down her cheeks. 'Faster... faster... faster! I need to get there faster!' Jiro began to run faster, her mind flashed back to her nightmare, she remembered watching her boyfriend die repeatedly, remembered how much it affected her, she couldn't bare to see that again. 'I need to save him...' was all she could think of.

"Win! Gentle!" La Brava yelled, as the two clashed. Midoriya could feel the villains power increase as she yelled. 'That girl's quirk... his power is getting stronger!' Midoriya could feel himself being pushed closer to the ground.

"You... why do you want to be a hero?" Gentle questioned, as he pushed the boy down further, the ground breaking beneath them.

"I'm the same as you, Gentle. My dream isn't just my own anymore!" Midoriya began to push back against Gentle, as he recalled memories of when he was quirkless, when he was granted the power to make his wish a reality, and all that he was fighting for. "A dream too big for the body I was born with! A dream I'd given up on from the bottom of my heart! For everyone that didn't laugh! For everyone that acknowledged me! I want to live up to their expectations! For those who have been hurt... I want... to become someone who can show them a bright future!" Midoriya's resolve had been revitalised, as he heard Gentle respond.

"The same... huh...?" Gentle threw the boy to the side, as he began to once again bounce around the terrain. La Brava could only watch in fear, she had no choice but to believe in Gentle, believe he would win. She knew he wouldn't give up, that this scheme was his pride. Believing in his will, La Brava began to run towards U.A., she would disable the security, and Gentle would win, she had to believe that. She began to cover herself in dirt in order to disguise herself from Hound Dog, as she dashed towards U.A.

Jiro similarly, was running at top speeds, she could still hear the battle raging on. She couldn't help but think the worst. She knew Midoriya was strong, that he would never give up, but that's also what scared her. He would always go too far, and what if this time he actually... No she couldn't afford to think like that, but that didn't stop Jiro's tears from continuing to fall down her cheeks. Jiro's breathing became progressively more and more erratic, as she continued to head towards the one she loved.

'I need to stop him!' Midoriya once again rose to his feet, as Gentle knocked him down before speaking once more.

"Am I still not as strong as those you've fought before?" Gentle looked down at the boy, as he began to prepare his final attack. "I will throw away shame, honor, and my way of doing things to defeat you! That is the courtesy I can show a person like you!" the man yelled, as he charged in for his final attack.

Meanwhile, in the distance, La Brava could see pro heroes coming to the area, as fear began to fill her. 'No... Gentle's plan... No!'

Midoriya watched as the man came charging down towards him. It was do or die time, he had no idea if what he was doing would work, but he had no choice but try. Midoriya prepared all his fingers, and fired air bullets using every finger at once. Gentle attempted to dodge, but was stopped by the final air bullet. Using this opportunity, Midoriya rose to his feet once more and leapt in the air, kicking Gentle in the head, knocking him towards the ground, before once again holding him beneath him.

"You were one of the hardest people to fight, Gentle..." Midoriya had one, he had captured the villain beneath him, and had one the battle.

"Gentle! There are heroes just over there-" La Brava ran back to Gentle, only to see him captured by the hero in training. La Brava ran towards the pair, as she began to cry once more. "Let Gentle go! Let go! No! Gentle had his heart set on this scheme! He even forgot about the tea breaks he loves so much! Let go! What 'bright future'?! Gentle is my only light! Dont take my Gentle from me! Don't take him away!"

Jiro was nearing the area where she had heard fighting. She could hear the cries of a girl. She could tell that Midoriya had won, but she still couldn't get rid of the feeling of fear in her chest. As she approached, she heard one final gust of wind, as panic once again filled her.

Hound Dog and Ectoplasm finally arrived, as they beared witness to a man holding a girl.

"U.A... I wish to turn myself in." Gentle spoke.

"Turn yourself in?" Hound Dog responded, in slight confusion.

"I've seen him before. He's that villain who's quick to escape. The one who posts those impertinent videos." Ectoplasm stated.

Hound Dog walked up to Gentle, grabbing him by his collar. "Anyone else with you?"

"No." Gentle replied bluntly.

"What are those injuries and that gouged out ground?" Hound Dog continued to question the man, whilst sniffing the air.

"I told you. I tripped and fell." Gentle continued to try and push this narrative that it was only him and La Brava.

"Just two of you?" Hound Dog queried again.

"That's right."

"'That's right'?! There's more, isn't there? I can smell two of our students!" Hound Dog yelled angrily.

"Two?" Gentle responded, genuine confusion in his voice.

As Hound Dog continued to question Gentle, Jiro finally arrived to the area, she stopped for a moment to catch her breath. Her breathing was erratic due to the combination of running all the way here, and the growing fear she could feel in her chest. Jiro took a moment to survey her surroundings, where she could see Ectoplasm, Hound Dog, and the person she and Midoriya had seen on that video. But she couldn't see Midoriya. Her fears grew as her tears began to flow more wildly. Panic filled her voice, as she spoke up, making herself known to the teachers and the villains.

"Where's Izuku?!"

"That's right! Where's our student?!" Hound Dog added, he was confused why this girl was here, but he didn't have time for that.

As Hound Dog questioned the man, Midoriya arrived to the scene once again, covered in dirt and bruises.

"Kyoka?! Why are you here?" Midoriya questioned as he looked at his girlfriend. Her eyes still filled with tears. Upon seeing her boyfriend, Kyoka ran in and hug the boy tightly, resting her head in his chest.

"Do you have any idea... how worried I was..." Midoriya could feel a cold feeling in his chest, as his girlfriend continued to cry.

"I'm sorry Kyoka... but... it's fine now..." Midoriya replied, as he wrapped his arms around her, comforting her.

Gentle couldn't help but smile slightly looking at the pair. They shared something similar to what he and La Brava shared. He began to speak up once more.

"I have comitted many crimes up until now... but my greatest crime was to kidnap and brainwash an innocent girl. All the blame lies on me. So please, pardon Manami Aiba." Resolve filled the villains voice, as he spoke to save the girl. The very girl in question had tears flowing down her cheeks, as she began to hold Gentle's coat. Gentle comforted the girl, but patting her head, as Ectoplasm began to speak up.

"What about your injuries?"

"Were you fighting?" Hound Dog questioned.

Still holding his girlfriend tightly, he pondered for a moment. He didn't agree with what Gentle was doing, but he could understand him. Gentle was like him. "I realised that he was going to play a joke on U.A., so we had a small disagreement. But... it's fine now."

As Midoriya finished speaking, Ectoplasm's phone began to ring, as Snipe began to speak.

"Hound Dog, Ectoplasm C, any irregularities? Please report." Snipe spoke bluntly.

Hound Dog took the phone out of Ectoplasm's hand as he begin to speak. "Some video streamer who was being a nuisance wants to turn himself in."

"What the heck?" Snipe responded in confusion.

"I don't get it either!" Hound Dog yelled as he threw the phone back to Ectoplasm.

"Huh?" Snipe replied, still incredibly confused.

"Anyway, this is not an emergency. Please continue to be vigilant." Ectoplasm stated, as he hung up the phone.

"You can tell us more at the police station!" Hound Dog yelled, as he began to take Gentle away. As they walked away, Gentle began to speak.

"Izuku Midoriya... I was once in the hero course at school too. Gentle Criminal is the mere shadow of someone who was once a hero dropout. I'm in no position to say this, but I hope your feelings reach those you want them to reach." Gentle stated, there was a certain kindness in his words, it was as if Midoriya had rekindled his old desire to be a hero.

Midoriya could only watch as they walked away, with Jiro still holding him tightly.

"Idiot... why do you always try so hard for other people..." Jiro asked, still crying.

"I'm sorry Kyoka... I didn't mean to make you worry..." Midoriya pulled her away from the hug, as he gently kissed her lips before pulling away.

"You always make me worry so much dummy... but that heroic side of you is also what I love about you..." Jiro admitted with a deep blush.

As the pair sat there, embracing each other. Ectoplasm cleared his throat, attempting to get their attention.

"All Might was worried about you." Ectoplasm stated, as Midoriya began to realise what was happening today. "Class A's performance starts at 10, right? Right now, it's 9:15."

"Come on dummy, let's get back to school..." Jiro spoke up, a gentle smile resting upon her face, as he looked up at her boyfriend lovingly.

"Well, from here, you can get to school in five or six min-" Ectoplasm was interrupted by Midoriya as he began to panic.

"Um, sorry, I left the bag of things I came out to buy..."

"Seriously Broccoli Head... I'll come with you then." Jiro spoke up, a small pout on her face.

"I will also accompany you... where is it?" Ectoplasm added, as the 3 began to ran off towards where Midoriya had left his bags.

Midoriya and Jiro collected his bags, and began to head back to the U.A. Campus with Ectoplasm in tow. Jiro was holding Midoriya's hand tightly as they ran.

"You fought for us again... didn't you?" The girl asked.

"I didn't want the festival to be cancelled... I didn't want all the hard work you and everyone else had put in to go to waste... and I didn't want to rob Eri of her smile..." Midoriya admitted.

Jiro could feel her heart flutter, this boy always worked so hard to protect others, and be conscious of their feelings. But he rarely took the same time for himself. If he wouldn't do it for himself, then she would do it for him. "Thank you Izuku... you're my hero..." A large blush appeared on Jiro's face as she spoke, before she gently pulled Midoriya into a kiss. "Now when we get to campus, go get cleaned up, we can't have you looking like that on stage. You'll have to go to recovery girl..." Jiro stated bluntly.

"Right..."

As they returned to campus, Midoriya handed Jiro the rope for Aoyama, as he headed to the nurses office to be healed. Only 5 minutes remained until Class 1-A was on, so he would have to be quick.

The rest of Class 1-A was panicking as they stood behind the curtains. Neither their guitarist nor their main vocalist had returned yet, and they were cutting it close on time. As Jiro returned everyone was in a frenzy.

"Where is Deku?!" Uraraka spoke up, panic in her voice.

"He's just gone to get cleaned up, he'll be here soon. Now everyone, let's get ready... There's no point being nervous out there. All that matters is that once we're out there we have fun!" Jiro stated with an earnest smile, earning a cheer from the rest of her class.

Only 1 minute remained until Class 1-A's song and dance performance, and Midoriya had only just made, with barely any time left to spare.

Eri tugged on Togata's clothing, as she began to speak. "Deku will be on stage right?" A small fear was present in her voice.

A smile covered Togata's face, as he reassured her. "Don't worry, he'll definitely be there!"

A few moments past, as the curtains began to open. Togata lifted Eri up on his shoulders, as he spoke. "Can you see everything up there Eri?"

Eri's eyes widened as she looked on stage to see her green-haired hero, holding a guitar.

"Yeah!" She responded earnestly.

Class 1-A's performance was about to begin, and everyone was watching in nervous anticipation, as the crowd began to shout Yaoyorozu's name. How will the performance go?

This is by far the longest chapter so far. I'm not 100% confident writing fight scenes yet, but it's something I'm trying to improve on nonetheless. I hope you enjoyed regardless, and stay tuned for the next chapter!

I'm also planning on responding to every review at the end of next chapter, which will be in this little author's note area. So look forward to that I guess.
