Tears formed at the corner of the young boy's eyes as blood leaked out from the slit on the boy's bruised knee. "Uwah! Kac-chan! It hurts, huu―" the boy cried upon seeing the vicious liquid.

Another kid came into view, he stood infront of the crying boy with crossed arms on his chest, he upheld an exquisite display of equity, and spoke up with confidence.

"Are you a man or a wimp? Get a grip of yourself, Deku!" He highlighted and raised his fist with an angry expression mixed with concern.

"B-b-but!" The crying boy hiccuped at the same time a snot slowly dripped out from his nose, his protest was cut off by a smack.

"Ow!" The injured boy could only press his hands on the mistreated part and protested quietly, not wanting the other boy to hear him nor hate him.

Seeing this, the said boy inhaled deeply. He was the older one amongst them, he should act more like one and treat the younger person, even if the other person's crying annoyed him to death. But he shouldn't pamper him too much, the one thing he should do is let loose with the cry baby. Not too strict nor too spoil. In between the two should be enough.

"Gee... stop your wimpiness! Stop being such a Deku, Deku!" He uncrossed his arms, "You know, you should toughen up. If someone sees the kid of the symbol of peace crying over a scratch in the knee, what do you think people would think?" He pouted and crouched down to face the crying boy only to be surprise by the look the other person had on his face.

He, then, raised his brow with indifference. Should he act in astonishment or keep the usual expression he has?

The crying kid, Deku, fought his tears from falling. He looked down and slowly shook his head, "He's not my father." He mumbled getting a flick on his forehead, "Ow! What was that for!" He complained, his habit of biting his lips showed.

"Deku..." Faced with a grim reaper appearance, Deku couldn't help but return to his previous nervous self, shivering from the sudden demonic aura the other party was emmiting.

Shrinking even further in fear, with blood being drain from his face he swallowed a mouthful of saliva before responding, "K-kac-chan?" He stuttered, fear evident on his tone.

The other boy clutched his forehead, feeling a sudden headache, and stood back up again, he no longer held the frightening look on his face. His thoughts were in a mess and he could only avoid meeting the other's penetrating gaze. "It's Katsuki, Deku! Katsuki!" He growled, correcting the other boy.

For a second, Deku gawked at Katsuki in a stupid manner. If it were a girl and in a right age for feelings to mature, people could clearly tell that the other held a feeling of attraction to the other person but some things are clearly wrong here. First he was a he and not a she plus he is just eight years old!

It turns out that he had read too much books, to the point of knowing what kids his age wouldn't know of yet!

Deku, feeling that his thoughts are derailing from the right direction, widens his eyes, face flush red and shook his head vigorously and stood up, clearly forgetting his own injury. He retorted at the older male in front of him. "And it's not Deku, I'm Izuku!"

Katsuki didn't gave him another look, not even a glance, and proceed with his plan of abandoning Izuku at the park.

At the corner of his eyes, he saw Izuku's mother and a handful of canon fodders all ready and waiting for his stupid childhood friend to come with them.

It's time for little cry baby Izuku to go home.

"Whatever, Deku, Jaa..." He waved his hand goodbye, turning around he grab his bag and held it up his shoulders.

Izuku stared at his friend's departing back with unease before realizing a warm hand was placed on his shoulder. He turned around and met his mother's smiling face.

He was a bit flustered seeing his mother look so happy she was in cloud nine, "Gomenasai... Oka-sama I'll get in first." He bowed and got inside the black van parked at the road side, his mother stared at her son with soft eyes then followed her son inside.

As soon as the pair of mother and son got in, two personel dressed in civilian clothes followed suit and entered their respective vehicles following the already moving vehicle infront.

Inside the van, both mother and son remained silent. Izuku was watching the passing scenery through the one-way tinted window, his face solemn. His mother would give him a worried glance from time to time hearing his son sigh a few times.

"Izu-kun... are you okay?"

Izuku blinked innocently as if waking up in a dream before facing his own blood mother, "Of course, Oka-sama." This only made her frown and sent him a questioning gaze. It looks like it wasn't sufficient enough of an answer to impress his mom.

"I'm fine..." He reassured while a certain blonde kid with a bag in hand caught his attention. His gaze followed the walking boy until their vehicle passed him. "You don't have to worry about me. There's nothing―"

"So... Katsuki huh?" Izuku knitted his brows in confusion, how the hell did his mother pushed his friend into their conversation?

He was taken aback for a second and choked on his own, his mother only laughed silently with a hand covering her lips and her green locks sliding down the side as she tilted her head to better see her son's reaction.

"Well〜 It was quite obvious." She smiled forming cresents with her eyes as she did. She was truly amused by the turn of events. "Maa... should this mother discuss the arrangement for a private meeting with your father and―"

"Bimyou!" Izuku shouted with ears flushed red. "I!" He bowed down infront of his mother and apologize for his rude actions which she casually shrugged and tossed that moment to the back of her head.

"Well... I'm glad that you are having fun with Katsuki-kun."

"It's not that..." He wanted to say that he was fine with Bakugo but he would prefer to have some quality time with her as well. But some things just can't be said and he kept his words to himself. Their situation is as delicate as silence, one wrong move and everything he worked hard for will be ruined.

Now is not the time for petty wishes.

"Ah, right", Izuku exclaimed. "Where are we going Oka-sama. It seems like something bad is about to happen and with all this extra precautionary measures... Are we being targeted?" He wanted to add 'again' but he felt that his mom wouldn't like it and thus.

"Silly Izu-kun..." She answered with a sense of vagueness hidden in her tone.

"..." Izuku wanted to protest but seeing how frustrated his mother looks right now, he settled on his seat and fiddled the hem of his black uniform, his gaze downwards.

"Why would my Izu-kun think of such silly little thing?" His mom tried to put on a smile to― this reassure him of their safety― although forceful. She bended both her hands and captured her son's chubby little cheeks and clamped it making the boy's speech incoherent.

"My baby's so clever." She muttured and envelope the boy in her embrace.

Although there were only the two of them on the back seat, two other person sat on the front. The events unfold and they watch from time to time through the rear view mirror. Upon seeing such a scene, the said people couldn't contain the warmth they felt seeing the mother and son pair.

They had been assigned to protect the two ever since Yagi Toshinori married Midoriya Inko, Izuku's blood mother. It had been eight years since then and there are times these two had to go through such dangerous situations, there only has little time for them to breath in relief and enjoy so much in life. It was the first time in forever that they once again witnessed such rare scene.

Two people on the front couldn't help smiling.

"Ta―daima! Katsuki barked after barging inside their household, this inculdes kicking the door open with a gangster-like appearance. Both hands hold a fiery red fire, which is caused by his quirk, and shouted again for intruding the place.

Some time after that he was called by his mother and thus the arguement about his son's ridiculous entrance began.

One female scolded furiously and one young male sat obediently asking for forgiveness while words flowed out of his mother's mouth, entering his ear then exiting to the other.

[30 minutes before the meeting]

The black van entered the tunnel, headlamps turned on with the sound of nothing but engine roaring filled the entire area. The tailing car followed, securing the passengers of the van with heightened alertness as they felt a sudden unease upon entering the empty tunnel.

Izuku gasped and widens his eyes in realisation, the passengers in front both looked at him with quirked brows. They contemplated whether the boy as young as him could feel the askew situation. If he did, then he truly is worthy to be the son of All Might.

"Ah! I forgot to borrow Kac-chan's notes." He exclaimed and casted a disappointed appearance.

The previous thoughts of the personnels sitting at the front seat were quickly dismiss and silently scolded themselves. The boy could not possibly do such a thing, he was just too young.

"Then should we get back? We're not quite far away from the Bakugo's household, right?" His mother suggested as she placed her index finger on her chin.

The driver of the van would like to tell that they were quite far away to travel back given the time alloted for the trip to their destination and it would probably hinder them to get there on time. But hence, he was just an employee and she was the employer, one cannot decline a request.

He was about to turn, nodding at his side to signal a change of plan but Izuku spoke up his very thoughts and they breath in relief.

"That would be illogical, Oka-sama. We wouldn't have to show up late just because of my irresponsible actions. I couldn't have that, we couldn't afford making Otou-sama wait just because of me."

"M-mhmm", Inko hummed with clear hesitation, her downcast gaze made it more unbearable for Izuku to speak any more and can only sit beside her in silence.

It took a minute before another wave of unease shook the quiet atmosphere, Inko sensing a peculiar movement from the people in charge of their protection, asked what is currently happening. The ear deafening static frequency answered her hunch.

"Madame, please sit back." The female personnel implied as she tried connecting to the only line of communication, she and her other associate had, to no avail.

Loud whispers entered Izuku's ears, he looked at his mother with frightened gaze. He was clearly afraid of the unknown that was about to come. "Oka-sa―" He saw his mother's comforting smile cutting him from speaking any further.

"Old hag..." Katsuki clicked his tounge and awkwardly entered his room. He turned on the light and threw his bag on his bed before going into the bathroom.

He soaked inside and took his time thinking of his green headed friend. It was one of the reasons why he shouted after coming back home, a certain feeling of anxiety swept pass him when he left his bestfriend earlier this day.

It was as if it would be the last time he'll see him and the reason as to why he was reluctant to leave him like that but at the end of the day he choose to remain indifferent about it and did what he did.

Katsuki chuckled, it was too stupid to imagine such things. He stood up, grabbing the towel on the cupboard and wrapped it aroud his waist and went out.

He pulled open his closet and grab some clothes, realizing the itching sensation on his forehead he looked at it and found his hair sticking around up to his brows. "Gotta cut 'em short tomorrow, huh." He said as he pulled it out showing how long it has grown.

He walked pass his bed while his attention was on his hair and accidentally stepped on the water bottle that had magically rolled down from his bag to the floor. It was a second too late for him to realize this and his world spinned upside down and immediatley landed hard on the ground causing a loud thud sound.

He unknowingly let his hold on his clothes go and it landed somewhere in his room, just as he was wondering where it had gone off to, a sound of cracked glass was heard.

He heard his mother's yelling from downstairs and a grunt left his tightly sealed lips.

"Argh... damn it!" He cursed out and got up, clutching his forehead and pressing it to relieve the pain. It took a lot of chants and curses before he felt satisfied with the fading pain and opened his eyes.

Immediately after that, he stood up and searched for the missing clothes, his line of sight landed automatically on a certain broken frame laying on the floor after knowing what suddenly changed in his room.

He crutched down and carefully picked up the broken frame with an increasing heartbeat, chills ran down his spine, he felt a bad premonition about this.

He didn't waste a second and immediately run downstairs, wearing his clothes in the process as he slammed his door open without care and he was scolded again by his mother because of this but he didn't paid it any attention.

Seeing her uncaring son looked too terrified to knock some sense into his brain, Bakugo Mitsuki, raised a brow and questioned his son.

"Quit your yapping, ungrateful son."

"Mom, will you just― please call Aunt Inko." Katsuki argued, his face full of desperation.

"What are you..." Mitsuki wanted to ask her son about this out of character behavior but the rare trembling Katsuki stopped her from further prying and could only do as he wishes her to do. "You'll be the death of me, stupid son", she sighed and shook her head as she walked towards the table, picking up the phone and dialing her friend's number.

A series of beeps echoed in her ears indicating that the other line is busy. She tried again but it resulted the same. Katsuki frowned deeply at this and his mother looked at him with confusion.

"What are you on about, Katsuki?" Mitsuki looked extremely worried at her son's behavior and demanded answer.

"I..." Katsuki exhaled, his trembling shoulders no longer visible, he had a determined face with no trace of weakness left in it. He mumbled incoherent words and immediately after that ran away leaving a stupefied Mitsuki.

"Katsuki! Come back here!" His mother shouted before following her son outside, she felt strange things are about to end badly.

"I'll be picking him up, okay? You shouldn't worry yourself out and patiently wait for us here, ne Mister Toshinori Yagi-sama." The green headed woman patted her husband's chest and smiled cheerily causing a light feeling swell up in the air.

"I― of course, I will." The blonde man instantly answered. "But still― I won't be rest assured if I don't accompany you. Plus I still have to made up with our son, we are family now after all and yet he still hasn't opened up to me. And there's the Assaillirs. They are too active these days and after raiding their base a week ago, I doubt that they will keep quiet about this."

"Then all the more you should stay here and patiently wait for us." Inko calmly replied, her hands clasp together in the graceful manner.

"But―"

"No buts mister!" The green head pouted and her hand rested on her hips as she waved her index finger in disapproval. "No can do about that, you said it yourself right, they won't stay still with what you've done with their group and I can pretty sure tell that they will get back to you. Asking me personally I'd stay away from you as much as possible, after all I don't wanna get into this troublesome crossfire."

"Anata... TQT"

Inko shared a hopeless smile and crossed her arms. "I know." She sighed and hugged his panicking husband. "You can take it slow with Izuku. He is a very smart kid and I know he is getting along that line with you, as for our safety... would taking the bodyguards you painstalkingly tried to hide from us satisfy you?" She looked up and used her charms to bewitch the unmovable hero.

Toshinori Yagi sighed in defeat and nodded.

Inko Midoriya: (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و

"It's been half an hour since Yuki reported back to me." Yagi informed with dejection, he slump in his seat impatiently.

The sound of sirene was heard in the distance and the glowing red and blue light flashed continuously sparking a growing tense atmosphere around the Bakugos. The car entered the tunnel making the sound echo from every direction, ringing and thundering Katsuki's ears, this didn't helped him from calming his beating heart.

Mitsuki stepped on the brake and park the car on the side, she was horrified upon seeing the yellow tapes surrounding the accident area. She was worried as for the reason, she isn't quite sure. Immediately after parking, her son opened the car and run towards the area she was a second too late to stop her son from going.

"Excuse me." Bakugo called out to an officer, "Excuse me, sir. What happened here?" Mitsuki called out gaining the officer's attention away from her son.

The officer and his mother talked while Katsuki stared at the two, clearly confused, he focused his attention elsewheee and stared at the area where he barely see some bloody corpses lying around the ground. He also noticed the distorted wrecked car a few meters away from the bodies.

He stepped foward, the officers blocking his sight were out of sight now and he can clearly see the messy scene now.

Floral caramel dress flashed before him and his eyes widen at the sudden terrifying thought. His body trembled and his face drain of blood, his line of sight changed and landed on a piece of clothing that he was well familiar with.

He screamed in agonize as he slump on the ground lifelessly staring, stream of tears flowed from his unblinking eyes.

Deku... deku couldn't possibly be dead. Right?

"Izu-kun, I―I'm really sorry. Please forgive me." Inko cried endlessly as she hugged the confused five year old him.

"Izu-kun, I have something to tell you." His mother smiled sweetly at him as she crutched down to his level.

"Izu-kun, this is Toshinori Yagi and he will be part of our family."

Izuku remembered his mother's despairing figure as they had faced the terrifying calamity in their life. He had never seen such heart wretching expression from his mother, and it was scaring him.

He just lost his father that time and he couldn't afford to lose her too, since then he made every effort to make his mother feel less sad but nothing seemed to work as she still shows that sad reminscing eyes full of love from time to time as she stared into a void.

He was so sure that nothing can make her the way she was before but it was proven wrong when the day he so desperately wanted occured. The sweetest smile that lit up his world brought him immense joy.

But now, he once again saw that broken smile.

"Run Izuku!" She screamed at him, diverting his attention away from the horrifying slaughter scene at her back. Undeniable pain and regret showed in her misty eyes, Izuku trembled at this.

He was too afraid that that thought would definitely happen, he clinged at his mother's arms and cried in sorrow. "No! Don't leave me!"

Inko hugged her child back in a tight embrace, crystal tear stain the ground, "Gomene... Izu-kun"

Inko pried open her son's arms and pushed him away from her, just in time where a portal appeared right where Izuku was pushed. One last time seeing his mother's back turning away from him, he heard her mumble something amidst the chaotic scene.

Time felt so slow, Izuku could clearly hear the agonizing scream of people being slaughtered on the other side, the destruction of the stage where the fight was held, and the silent blows of different quirks mingled in the air, clashing and repelling each other. He leapt through the air hoping that he wouldn't be sucked in in the portal and prevent his himself from cowardly turning away from his mother.

He saw his mother fighting against the attacker, blood flowed continuously from the deep wound on her belly but she kept fighting them off. Out of nowhere a man appeared on her side, a knife was held and stabbed her.

"Kaasa!" He screamed and stretched out his hand, a excruxiating pain was triggered but his mind was too chaotic to even care. His mother needed him.

Inko trembled from the pain, numbing her of her senses but she kept fighting, soon enough another attacker appeared, taking her out in an instant. She lifelessly swayed and falled down on her knees, her breathing was shallow and anyone would mistaken that she was dead but this wasn't the case, she tightly held on and persevered for her son. She looked up at the attackers with glinting eyes.

This action provoked the thin lines of patience from them, the leader of the group stand upright, blood covered his originally white uniform and stood infront of the stubborn woman. He raised the hand holding an unfashioned sword and in an instant, sliced the woman neck, blood sprayed out.

"No!" Izuku cried rivers of tears, seeing everything. In was too late for him, for everything and the portal connecting him from that place closed.

A child covered in dirt and blood walked absentmindedly in a forrest, his pale white skin glowed in the bask of the moonlight's, tripping from time to time while mumbling incoherent words.

His dry lip deprived of any water move, silent whispers of 'help' was heard coming from him. His dull eyes was sore having from crying for a long time. Soon his weak feeble thin child legs gave up and falled on the ground, his vision somewhat became blurry but it was enough for him to see a person not far from him.

He crawled on the ground unable to support himself from walking, and reaching that person's hand and enveloping his own into that person gaining the other person off guard and surprise.

Izuku couldn't see that person's face because of his blurry vision but the moment he regained the focus in his eyes, the man's features, especially his eyes wide open in astonishment, left a deep impression in his mind. It was the last thought he remembered before darkness took over him, carrying him to the endless abyss of weary and fatigue.
