Hey guys. I know that I have some stuff to update. you can kill me later. But here's this. I was bored and this hit me like a thunderbolt, so I wrote it.
Percy is in kindergarten when they first meet. She has moved from California to New York halfway through the school year. Percy tries to be her friend, but he knocks over her block building and makes her mad. He doesn't try to talk to her again
Percy is in first grade when he sees her again. She's friends with another boy, Grover. Percy gets mad and says that she stole his best friend. She screams back that she knew him longer than Percy. Percy starts to cry and goes somewhere else
Percy is in second grade when they're in the same class. Her name is Annabeth. They sit next to each other and ignore one another for the whole year. The teacher asks why they don't talk. Annabeth says that they're mutual enemies. Percy agrees with her. She glares at him and Percy glares back.
Annabeth is in third grade when she sees him all alone at lunch. They've both agreed that they're enemies, but it isn't fair seeing him alone. She doesn't want to be friends, so she tells Grover to go sit with him. Percy brightens when Grover sits next to him and Annabeth feels a little better.
Annabeth is in fifth grade when she finally decides to make peace with Percy. She goes up to him during recess and declares a truce. When Percy asks why, Annabeth admits that she doesn't have very many friends. Percy agrees and Grover starts dancing with joy. They shake hands and become friends.
Annabeth is in sixth grade when she and Percy start middle school. They walk into the school together with their schedules. Annabeth is nervous, but she doesn't show it. Percy isn't scared. He isn't scared of anything. They have a few classes together and meet some new friends. Annabeth meets a seventh grader named Luke and starts to have a crush on him. When she tells Percy, he frowns a bit but doesn't say anything.
Percy is in seventh grade when Luke asks Annabeth out. He isn't so sure about that relationship, since Luke's older and is kind of a bully. But Annabeth is so happy about it, Percy smiles anyway and says how happy he is for her. She drags him to all of Luke's football games. Percy's happy to spend time with her, but he doesn't like it because she always goes over to Luke's after the games.
Percy is in eighth grade when he meets Rachel. She's almost exactly like Annabeth, except her eyes are green and her hair is red. She's funny and says exactly what she thinks and Percy really likes her. He tells Annabeth about Rachel. She asks if Percy's replacing her. Percy says no, but Annabeth doesn't believe him.
Annabeth is in ninth grade when Percy and Rachel start dating. She's been dating Luke for almost three years, but she gets a bit jealous when she sees Percy and Rachel holding hands. She knows she shouldn't be, but she is anyway. Percy and Annabeth don't hang out as much and Annabeth feels like they're drifting apart.
Annabeth is in tenth grade when Luke cheats on her. She caught him kissing Kelli Empous, the captain of the cheer team. Annabeth slaps Luke and breaks up with him. She goes home early that day, feeling sick. Percy texts her later, asking if she was okay. Annabeth doesn't reply for two hours before saying she got the flu. Percy and Rachel show up with some of Percy's mom's blue cookies, Annabeth's favorite.
They're in eleventh grade when Percy and Rachel break up. Rachel ended it, saying that it wasn't going to work in the long run. Annabeth is secretly relieved and invites Percy to sit with her at lunch, along with some of her friends. Percy agrees and brings two of his friends, Hazel and Frank. Annabeth introduces Piper, Leo, and Jason. Percy and Jason pretend to fall in love while Annabeth actually does.
They're in twelfth grade when Percy gets a swimming offer for college. They're at Percy's apartment and when he opens the letter and sees where it's from, he gets sad. It's at a college three states away from Annabeth. Annabeth asks why that's a problem and Percy tells her.
He tells her that he's had a crush since they were in sixth grade.
She asks why he didn't say anything.
He says that he didn't want to ruin their friendship.
She says that wouldn't matter because she's had a crush on him since fifth grade.
Percy asks if he can kiss Annabeth
She says yes
It's the best experience either of them have had.
