After a couple more hours later, Katie is sitting at her house, playing video games in her living room. The tomboy sat there, waiting for the time to go to work, until she heard the sound of a knock on her door. She stood up from the couch, walking over to the front door, wondering who was here at her house right now.

The tomboy opens the door, seeing Pinky standing outside the front door, seemingly surprised by something. Katie could tell by the looks of the girl's eyes, that were wide and staring off as if she was in deep thought. Katie steps aside, allowing Pinky into the house, before closing the door.

"Pinky. What's going on?" Katie asked her. "I talked with Violet and...I don't know what happened at Crystal's house, but...while I was there, Crystal said she wasn't coming."

"I...I know that, Kate. She told me herself that she wasn't coming, and...well...I tried to get her to try to make amends with Violet, and if nothing came out of you, then...I'd probably talk to Violet next, but...Crystal's mind is made up, she's not coming along to the wedding." Pinky said, before frowning at this. "I just can't believe that one of them is not going to be there at the wedding when it happens..."

"Well that's just fucking great..."

"But that's not what I am here for..." Pinky sat down onto the couch. "It's a lot more important for me to tell you first because...you're the most trustworthy person I know who could handle something like this first."

Katie walked over to the couch, sitting down next to her friend. "Alright. What are you so worried about, Pinky?"

Pinky rubs the side of her neck, wondering how she was going to tell her best friend about what she had discovered today. She then lowers her arm, before continuing to speak about what she had to say. Katie wasn't expecting to hear what Pinky had to say next.

"So...recently, I've been feeling rather...hungrier than I usually do after work, and...I also felt weird afterwards." Pinky explains to her. "Well...I thought it was no big deal, until...sorry for bringing her up into this, but...Summer was there, at the coffee shop, and she noticed my weird feeling."

"Summer talked to you about your weird feeling or whatever?" Katie asked.

"She was only trying to help for once..." Pinky then held onto her stomach. "...She gave me some insight on why I was feeling this way, connecting the dots to...my mother getting hungry for blueberries, months before I was born..."

It was at this moment, Katie was starting to connect the dots on what Pinky was going to tell her. Pinky held onto her stomach, before biting her lip, nervously. She then finally said what she is experiencing right now.

"Katie, I'm pregnant." Pinky said, holding onto her stomach still.

"Oh my God..." Katie said, struck with shock by that being said to her. She had no idea how to even feel hearing this from one of her own friends. "I...really don't know what to say!"

"I didn't know what to say either..." Pinky rubs a hand through her hair, groaning at knowing about this more earlier than she should have known. "Me and Tim were suppose to talk about being a parent after the wedding happened, and now here we are...and that option is out the door...how is he going to feel about hearing this? If he heard about this, he would want the wedding to be called off if he were to figure this out."

"Pinky, I don't see the big deal about this..." The girl in blue narrowed her eyes at the tomboy in disgust. "Okay...I get the big deal, but...this is something that Tim and you were planning on discussing one of these days, so...in hindsight, it's not a big deal of him wanting the wedding off." Katie shrugged her shoulders, before placing her hands on her hips. "Besides, Tim would probably want to marry you even more if he were to find out about this, right?" Pinky held onto her stomach once again.

"I-I don't know, Katie...this just...feel too quickly for me..."

"Well, it's too late now..." Katie stood up from the couch, helping Pinky onto her feet. "Either way, Tim is going to find out about this one of these days. It's only right that you tell him when you see him again."

"But..."

"Pinky, everything is going to be alright." Katie places a hand on her best friend's shoulder, smiling at her. "Trust me, I know Tim. He's such a nice guy, and Chaz told me that he can't get angry with anyone that easily." Pinky held onto her stomach once again, before taking a deep breath.

"I hope you're right, Kate...this is just...way too soon for me to handle, and...you know, with the wedding coming up, and Crystal, and Violet, and...just...everything that I am currently facing right now, just...this just..."

"Sucks." Katie nods her head.

"Thank you...I didn't want to say that..."

"No problem, Pinky." Katie points towards the front door of her house. "Want me to walk you to your house now? I feel it's only right if I do." The girl in blue nods her head, as she walked passed the tomboy.

"That would be lovely. Thank you, Kate." The tomboy walked Pinky out of her house, and took her to her house so that she can get some rest. Katie closes the door behind her as they walked out of the house.

It was already five in the evening...

Work had ended for Vance, giving him every reason to go off to the carnival so that he can finally go to the fairground with his girlfriend. The agent had gotten a call after work saying that Ginny will meet him there at the ticket booth. So now all Vance needs is to find a vehicle to take him there on time.

The monorail wouldn't be able to lead him to the carnival, and he wasn't going to sit there and waste time waiting for it to arrive. Eleanor had left to go on a date with her girlfriend Evelyn, so borrowing her car wasn't happening. All he had left was to take the bus to get there. Thankfully for him, the bus was at the bus stop already, waiting for a passenger to get on. He got on just in time.

At the fairground...

Ginny was looking around the streets, wondering where Vance even was at the moment. She kept looking at her phone time to time, waiting for her boyfriend to finally arrive here, getting a little impatient. The tomboy couldn't help but keep looking left and right, down both sides of the road in front of her.

"Where is he?" Ginny said, feeling a bit grumpy.

After a couple more seconds of waiting, the bus finally arrived, right in front of the tomboy with braids. She backs up from the road in front of her, holding one of her two braids. Vance, in a hurry, got off of the bus, and then waved at the bus driver. He then turns his head towards the girl who'd usually dress up like a pirate standing there in front of her.

"Oh, there you are." Ginny said, smiling at her boyfriend. "You ready to have fun here?"

"Well, I've been busy lately, so...I guess a little bit of fun wouldn't hurt." Vance said. "Thanks for suggesting this idea for us to go to on our first date by the way." He gives the girl a thumbs up, before Ginny blushes heavily.

"You're way too kind, Vance..." Ginny places a hand on his back as they walked into the carnival together. "Come on, dude, we don't have all night. So let's have all the fun that we can before this place closes."

"Agreed."
