So here's a new story I'm thinking about updating consistently. A Doom and RWBY crossover. It'll be a not super serious story but will have brutal fighting scenes. There'll be appearances of demons but as Grimm to fit the Doom aesthetic. I'll also have doom OST cues for you to listen to when I make a badass fight scene. The pairing will most likely be Arkos but...I could make it like a harem. Maybe. I don't know. Read and Review!

(Origin)

Before the time of huntsman, before the time of aura, mankind could only flee from the Grimm. The beasts remaining after the God of darkness left with the God of light leaving humans at the mercy of the creatures, hope beginning to wane as humans desperately tried to find ways to survive and in this the first warriors to stand against the horde came to be, the Night Sentinels. These mighty knights faced the Grimm head-on, donning armor that gave them the edge against the horde and using blades made out of mysterious energy that has been long lost to time. They battled the Grimm for decades, holding them back so mankind could regrow but when the huntsman and huntress academies were formed the sentinels started to fade, new warriors becoming rare until only the old guard remained. Seeing that the Sentinels were vulnerable Salem unleashed a horde of Grimm larger than any other that had been released prior. The Sentinels fought valiantly, decimating score after score of the menacing beasts driving them nearly to a standstill but eventually the battle was lost. Only a fraction of the order remained and in this they came to an agreement, to continue the bloodline of Sentinel warriors and pass on their power until it grew powerful enough to destroy those who had erased their legacy.

(Present day)

"It's time Jaune." Nicholas Arc spoke waving his son to follow him. Jaune did as his father ordered walking alongside him knowing full well what he was about to say and do. The father and son traveling to the edge of the forest to keep them concealed from any eavesdroppers. The elder Arc turned taking in a breath laying a hand on his son's shoulder.

"You've done well these past twelve years Jaune. Every test I have given you, every trial, every task you've completed and exceeded my expectations. You are ready, to continue the legacy that has long been forgotten to those around us. Give me your hand son." Nicholas held out his palm and Jaune took it gripping it tight.

"Against all the evil that the Grimm can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce, I send onto them...only you, my son. Rip and Tear until it is done." The words seemed to echo in Jaune's mind and With those words, the power and semblance stored within Nicholas erupted flowing into Jaune engulfing the younger Arc in a blinding light. Jaune's knees quivered, falling to the ground overwhelmed from the power surge before standing to his full height now eye level with his father who stood a towering six fooot six inches, body rippled with bulging muscles with enough bulk for power but lean enough to be fast built like springs and ready to lash out.

"And with this Jaune, you are now the successor of this power and semblance long passed on from generation to generation. Cultivate it, help it grow and make it your own so you can be the answer to the threat that is the queen of Grimm. Do you accept the task son?" Jaune nodded bringing his right fist over his heart eyes full of determination.

"Yes father. I will continue the legacy long forgotten. I will slaughter the Grimm, I will grow with this power and I will become what the legends of our ancestors prophesied. I will become the Grimm Slayer." Nicholas nodded giving Jaune a smile slapping his shoulder.

"I expected as such. When you go to Beacon, you must hold back. With the strength, I've passed on you are more powerful than you could possibly imagine. Over time you will be able to control all of your power but for now, you can most likely only use twenty-five to a maximum fifty percent of it. Use the academy as training for your final goal."

"To kill Salem." Jaune tightened his fists and Nicholas nodded taking a seat.

"Precisely. When I inherited the power from your grandfather, I thought I might've had enough to destroy her. But after taking on one of the most powerful Grimm in existence and only barely able to defeat it, that was when I knew the power of our family's semblance needed more time. I'm certain that you are the answer to Salem Jaune, that you are the one to defeat her. My time is over but yours is just beginning. Your mother and sisters understand so don't worry, we all support you. Do what our ancestors intended for you to do."

"I will father. You said that you wanted to give me some things before I left?"

"Yes, come with me to the armory." Nicholas stood up, the duo made their way to the armory in little time weaving through the forest and eventually going through the gate bringing into view the massive stockpile of many different weapons over the years.

"Over time we've needed to evolve from what we used to use as weapons. These days you see huntsman and huntresses using these hybrid weapons that while are convenient, flashy, and machine-like but in actuality, they are actually a detriment. If one bolt goes out of place, if the weapon can't shift then that weapon is an oversized club. This is precisely why we use practical traditional weapons outfitted with modern technology. Pick any from what we've made Jaune, you have my permission." Jaune walked around for a moment taking in the vast arsenal his father had accrued over the years, miniguns, machine guns, shotguns and dust guns lined the walls as the younger Arc took careful consideration for what weapons he would take. His eyes settled on a double-barreled super shotgun, the very first firearm his grandfather used but now upgraded with an incendiary hook that bore into a Grimms flesh and burnt it to a crisp.

"Ah, good choice. A perfect weapon that can blow a hole in an Ursa Major with a single shot." Nicholas commented as Jaune grabbed a leg strap and holstered the weapon inside of it latching it to his thigh. He continued his search and grabbed ahold of a gauntlet that had a two-foot extendable blade.

"That was a weapon I made for myself whenever I lost my main blade. Saved my ass in a pinch." Jaune slid it onto his right wrist feeling it tighten and secure itself onto him. He looked to his right grabbing ahold of a massive heavy cannon racking the bolt back seeing the large round be loaded and letting go.

"Got that as a gift from an Atlesian arms manufacturer. It fires armor-piercing rounds that explode once they've pierced a target. Perfect for armored Grimm." jaune nodded still holding the weapon in his hands before turning around to his father.

"I think this is all I need dad. I got my ranged weapon, short-range blade, and gun along with my fists." He slammed his hand into his other palm.

"Good choices across the board but there's one weapon left that you need along with some armor." Nicholas disappeared behind a rack of weapons coming out a few minutes later wheeling out a full suit of armor capable of covering the user from head to toe.

"This is the Praetor suit. Our ancestors made this suit from the remains of a Grimm titan before it disintegrated like all Grimm do. It's reinforced with the same armor the Sentinels used all those years ago along with some upgrades I added. There's an additional wrist blade on the left arm so you have two blades instead of one and a shoulder-mounted grenade launcher."

"It's amazing father. Did you wear this?" Jaune ran his hand down the chest plate feeling the cool metal beneath his fingers.

"No. No, I did not. I didn't feel worthy to don this suit. But you Jaune, you deserve to wear it. This will help you on your journey to tear that bitch apart. But this is the last thing you need." He held out a worn hilt adorned with the skull of a Grimm and a guard detailed with archaic spikes. Jaune gripped it in his hand and tightened his grip ignited the long unsued blade.

"Whoa." Jaune's eyes went wide, the blade glowing an angry red with what looked like markings littered up and down the sword.

"That is a crucible. Last of its kind from our ancestors. With every enemy you eviscerate with it, it will lose its charge. Once you use up the energy within it, the blade will deactivate and recharge over time. Use it only as a last resort and when your backs against the wall."

Jaune gripped it again deactivating the weapon and holstering it onto his new armor. He turned to his father giving him a tight hug.

"I swear dad, I'll make you proud. I'll destroy that witch." Nicholas patted his sons back rubbing it reassuringly.

"I know you will. For the time being enjoy your four years at Beacon. Have fun, do some stupid things just don't get yourself killed. Though I doubt anything can kill you anyway. It's just a precaution. Meet a nice girl too alright? Your mom's been asking about grandkids!"

"Hey dad, Saphron already has a kid!"

"Well your mom wants more and you're the guarantee if you forget to wear a rubber. Now get your armor on and get ready, the bullhead is leaving soon." Nicholas chuckled making Jaune roll his eyes.

"Alright dad, we'll see what happens." He gave his father a wave proceeding to don his armor.

'Time to become what I've been destined to be.'

(Beacon)

'Guh, no matter what I do, how hard I train, and whatever meds I take I still get sick from those damn flying deathtraps.' Jaune held his helmet in his right arm trying to keep the contents of his lunch inside his gut. He wiped his mouth shaking his head getting ahold of his bearings.

'From what dad said, I need to go through the front gates first, go left and then take a right and that should bring me to the assembly area.'

*Boom!* An explosion went off near him to his left with a small girl laying in a crater.

"Welcome to beacon..." She mumbled morosely letting her head fall into the shattered concrete.

"Need a hand?" Jaune towered over her making the diminutive girl almost shrink away but his smirk was inviting enough to take his hand.

"Thanks...my names Ruby, Ruby Rose and Uh yours?"

"Jaune Arc, short and easy to say just like yours." Jaune shrugged and his heavy cannon did as well with him making Ruby take notice.

"Oh wow! How many weapons do you have?" Ruby started zipping around Jaune admiring the firepower that he was packing.

"A double-barreled shotgun with a grappling hook? No! That's no ordinary double barrel! It's a super shotgun! Capable of firing eight gauge high-velocity buckshot that shreds anything it hits! And that heavy cannon!" She flashed behind him taking note of the weapon and it's make.

"Atlesian made with special custom AP bullets?! And it's belt-fed with an automatic loader so there's an unending stream of fire until ammo runs out! Wow! This must've cost a small fortune! Not to mention your dual wrist blades, the shoulder-mounted grenade launcher, and your armor! It all looks like cutting edge military technology!" She couldn't stop smiling making Jaune dart his eyes around uncomfortable at how close she was. Ruby noticed and backed off scratching her head.

"I'm sorry! I'm a bit a weapons geek! And well I haven't really socialized very much and I noticed all your weapons so I tried to make conversation but kinda failed and-."

"Ruby, it's ok you can calm down. To be honest I'm not the most sociable either so I understand where you're coming from." He gave a small smile making Ruby relax.

"T-thanks for understanding Jaune. I'm really sorry for invading your personal space. I just get a rush at looking at new weapons and it's the only thing I'm really good at other than fighting. What are your weapon's names?"

"Their names?"

"Yeah, names. Like my scythe, Crescent Rose!" Ruby pulled out her beloved scythe adding a little flair with a couple of spins embedding the point of the blade into the ground cracking the concrete beneath it.

"Hm. Interesting design. Looks to be a fifty caliber sniper rifle combined with a scythe. Much more practical than other mechashift weapons but nonetheless it's a mechashift. I'm not a fan of those." Ruby recoiled back staring at Jaune with a shocked face cradling Crescent Rose close.

"What?! Mechashift is what all the modern-day huntsman and huntresses use!"

"Just because everyone else uses it doesn't mean it's the best. In my eyes, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Or in my case, become strong enough to carry a bunch of weapons and have armor that magnetically locks said weapons onto myself. None of my weapons have names. They're tools to kill Grimm and that's that. My blades technically have names in which they're called Grimmblades specifically made to tear any Grimm apart, I also have this." He reached to his waist uncoupling the Crucible igniting the blade immediately making Ruby hang her mouth open in awe.

"Ruby? Ruby?" He snapped his fingers in front of her face snapping the Rose out of her shock.

"What is THAT!? It reminds me of those laserswords from Star Battles!"

"This is my Crucible, it can cut nearly anything in half. But it has to cool down if I use it too much and only should be used for emergencies. " He sheathed his blade still smirking at Ruby who was still flabbergasted.

"You've gotta let me try that Jaune!"

"Sorry Ruby, only I can use it. It was passed onto me by my father so I am the sole wielder of the Crucible." Ruby folded her arms pouting making the Arc snicker.

"I'll let you look at all my other weapons after initiation alright? Now we gotta head to the assembly. Follow me, my father told me the way."

Shortly thereafter the two found themselves in the assembly hall.

"Look, X-ray and Vav is awesome but those Red Vs Blue comics and shows are better Ruby!"

"Ok! I'll admit that RVB's show is better that X-ray and Vav's but! X-ray and Vav comics are better!" Jaune moved his head from side to side before shrugging in agreement.

"Fair enough. I see where you're coming from." Ruby held her head high in victory before spotting Yang who was waving her down.

"Oh there's my sister! See you later Jaune!" She scampered away giving her sister a hug leaving the blonde giant alone.

"Well hell, where else am I gonna find a cute and quirky girl to talk to." Jaune grumbled walking closer to the stage not noticing a pair of emerald eyes watching him.

Yang hugged her sister ruffling her hair and looking over her shoulder staring at the guy Ruby was talking to.

"So Rubes, who was the tall muscly piece of man meat you were talking to? Gotta say, little sis, nice pick. Wonder what he looks like without all that armor on." Yang bit a finger ogling the retreating form of the stranger.

"That was Jaune Arc! He has sooo many weapons, Yang! It's awesome! He's my first friend here so score!"

"Looks like it's not only weapons that he's packing. Yang likes." She rose her eyebrows staring right at his armored rear.

"Gah! Ew Yang!"

(Later that Night)

'That was a pretty boring ass speech. Blah blah blah super serious blah blah dreary bullshit. He doesn't even know that I'll be the one putting an end to Salem in the coming years.' He rolled his eyes setting up his sleeping bag keeping his Crucible on him at all times not trusting the lockers to keep his prized weapon safe. He took off his shirt revealing his scarred yet well-toned body, built like a modern-day Adonis that had been through hells. Strangely, all of the scars he carried were on his front with none on his back.

Yang gave out a low whistle laying down next to Ruby nodding her head.

"Ok Rubes, I'm giving you major props for making friends with that Arc guy. He is freaking Jacked! Like, perfect!" Yanged daydreamed for a second thinking about how his body would feel under her touch.

"Ugh Yang stop ogling him! I don't want to talk to him when he's...shirtless!" Ruby covered her eyes with her sleeping mask trying to hide her blush.

"Well you better take off that sleep mask, Jaune's coming over here."

"Haha very funny Yang. I'm not falling for your fibs."

"Hey Ruby. YOu going to bed already?" Jaune stood over the two girls giving them both a small smile. Yang got to her feet in a flash and Ruby fumbled with her mask trying to stand up.

"Hey there, Jaune right? Thanks for helping my little sister. She can be a bit awkward meeting new people so it means a lot that you became her first friend here." She leaned against the wall leaning a bit forward making her cleavage hang out a bit. Jaune refused to look at the bountiful pair, though it was difficult for him. He focused on her deep lilac eyes swearing that he saw them turn red for a moment.

"Well I'm in the same boat as her honestly. Didn't do much interaction with people outside of my family, was training constantly."

"When did you start training?"

"oh, when I was...six? Yeah, when I was six. My father wanted me as powerful as possible before attending Beacon and so I could handle the strength of my semblance."

"S-six years old? Jeez isn't that a little extreme?!" Jaune waved it off giving her a frown.

"Nah, my dad built me up easy then broke me down and the cycle continued. Helped a lot."

"Well, that's probably why you're as sock hard as you hard." She gave his abs a light punch eyes going wide at how hard they were. Jaune chuckled a little giving her a flex making Yang stare at the display.

"My dad put me through a hellish regiment and diet to get like this. Got a playlist ready for tomorrow when the fighting starts."

"Well if what Ruby told me about you is true, you got enough gear to go to war with the entire emerald forest!" He gave her a finger gun and winked.

"That is exactly what I'm gonna do. I gotta hit the hay, see you tomorrow Yang, you too Ruby. Sleep well!" He waved them goodbye and as soon as he was out of earshot Yang gave out a loud growl looking at Ruby with wide eyes. Ruby shrunk away from her older sister knowing all too well what she was about to say.

"You made friends with a hunk like him?! Ruby you're aiming high!" She glomped Ruby smooching her into her breasts.

"Yang! I'm not looking to date him! He's just a friend!"

"Then I'm going for him! He is perfect!" Yang gave a final look at him laying on his side showing his exposed back making Yang shiver.

"Yep. That ass is gonna be mine."

"Quiet! That's so embarrassing to say in public Yang! Let's...let's go to bed this is...Gah!" Ruby tore at her head burying her face into her mask and pillow.

(Morning)

Jaune slid on his chest piece, donning his armor in its entirety except for his helmet. He looked around noticing a raven-haired guy being tailed by an over-energetic ginger girl clad in a weird pink outfit. What caught his eye was a tall crimson-haired girl dressed in armor similar to that of a spartan in ancient history, stoking his curiosity.

"We would be an unstoppable combination if we were partners!" Weiss droned on while Pyrrha smiled awkwardly hoping someone could help her out of this. Her heart nearly jumped with joy when a massive boy came over interrupting the heiress entirely.

"Hello ladies, saw you two conversing and thought I'd worm my way in on your conversation. My name is Jaune Arc, short and easy to say. And you two are?" Pyrrha's heart skipped a beat when he didn't recognize her ready to take a chance and make a friend without her wretched fame.

"Tch, what makes you think that you have any right to approach either of us?! I am Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee dust company and she is Pyrrha Nikos!" Jaune simply nodded holding out his hand which Pyrrha graciously shook.

"Good to meet you Pyrrha. Good to mee you too Weiss." He said plainly making the Ice queen start to fume.

"Do you have any idea who you're talking to ruffian?" Jaune blinked scrunching his eyebrows together.

"Uh I'm talking to you who's an heiress to a big business and to Pyrrha. What else is there to say?" Pyrrha gritted her teeth knowing full well that Weiss was about to ruin everything for her itching to chuck her spear right into the white-haired girl's body.

"She is a four time winning champion of the Mistral tournament! Her face is on every box of Pumpkin Pete's marshmallows cereal!" Jaune snapped his fingers turning to Pyrrha who was screaming internally vowing revenge against Weiss.

"Oh you do look familiar! I ate your cereal a few times. Though I don't know much about what those tournaments are, but I value people on their merit and strength not on how famous or popular they are. Crap, looks like it's time to go. See you both at the cliffs! It was great meeting you Pyrrha! Hope to see you again soon!" He slid on his helmet nad sprinted out the door with surprising speed considering his size.

'He is perfect and will be my partner no matter what!' Pyrrha promised herself leaving the locker rooms with Weiss following her.

(Cliffs)

'Oum almighty he's droning on again. Like we all don't know what the Grimm are, what they do, and how dangerous the beasts are. Just let us get on with it.' Jaune's helmet allowed him to daydream and drown himself in his own thoughts completely ignoring the headmaster.

"You will come up with your own landing strategy as we launch you into the forest. Do not hesitate to destroy anything in your path, or you may die."

'Now he's speaking my language. Finally, time to rip and tear!' Jaune shoved two shells into his shotgun snapping it back into firing position as the pad sent him flying over the forest. The Grimm had no idea that they weren't the ones to be feared.

And chapter done! Hope people like this! Been wanting to do a Doom inspired rwby crossover for a while now. Read and review!
