"You want me to get married to that girl?" Naruto whispered, still not believing his mother's words. His mind refused to digest the fact that his mother, the one who adores him to no end, could approve of something so ridiculous.

"No".

"Then why did you accept the contract?!" He shouted, before pausing, knowing very well that he just went overboard with his words and tone.

Layla immediately shook her head, denoting that even she was against the proposition. "I didn't. I don't want my Naruto to marry anyone. I want him to be mine forever" Like a child, she whined softly, clenching her hands in sadness and irritation. "It's the devil council. They want a powerful heir. They want to take my child away from me" Tears started to shimmer in the corners of her beautiful blue eyes.

Naruto frowned. The look on his mother's face was absolutely heart-wrenching. She looked so vulnerable right now, and people still ask him why he cares for her so much.

"Don't cry" he stood up from his seat and positioned himself in front of her. "How many times do I have to tell you, mother?" He spoke as he raised his hand to her face, wiping the pristine tears from her eyes. They never looked good on her face. Her smile was what he admired the most. "I will never leave you, even if I have to remain unmarried for eternity" His words drew a gasp from her.

"What?!" Wide eyes regarded the boy in shock. She couldn't believe what she just heard. "You don't have to make such promises, Naruto" she whispered. "I'm just a little bit sad because of the news" Placing a hand on his head, she caressed his hair gently.

"No" He hummed in delight. "I don't want to marry anyone" Layla smiled at his words.

"Then how are you going to complete your dream?" She asked.

Naruto tilted his head to the side. "What dream-" he paused and soon red overflowed on his cheeks. "Oii, I was a child back then!" He tried to argue but his mother ignored his words like they meant nothing.

"You wanted to have a child with me!!" Her soft and melodious giggles were like a slap on the face for him, reminding how idiotic he used to be in his childhood, always making stupid wishes and proclamations.

He turned his head away, daring not to look her in the eyes."I-I was an idiot back then!!".

Her giggles ceased as soon as she heard his words. "Don't call yourself an idiot, Naruto" Her fingers gently pinched his cheeks. "You are very clever. After all, only you can fool Revan in order to sleep with me" The giggles commenced again, bringing more shame with them.

Naruto's embarrassment rose to unimaginable heights. "It's because my room is adjacent to the room of that idiot, Riser and he never sleeps at night" he pouted, glaring mildly at his mother for producing such an unworthy slab of trash. If there was someone who he truly wanted to burn alive, then it was Riser. That idiot was the "reason" he still had to sleep with his mother.

A tinge of red appeared on Layla's face too. She very well knew what his son was talking about. "Riser is quite an active man" she tried to continue the conversation but the look Naruto was giving her was making it hard for her to do so. "But you still have many other rooms, Naruto" she blurted and blinked when she realized that her comeback wasn't that bad, her son's red face only solidified her qualms.

"Y-yes" The boy Phenex cursed himself inwardly. He should have been prepared for this type of question. "But they are boring and less decorated," he said, hoping that his answer satisfies the woman.

"If you say so".

"I will stop sleeping with you if you advise that idiot to avoid having sex in the night".

"How about you start having sex in your room?" Layla winked at her son, while the poor boy almost went limp after hearing her ridiculous suggestions. "In this way, you can disturb Riser, and I promise, I will moan as loudly as I can" she would have proceeded with her teasing but curbed and started to giggle hysterically at the expression her child had on his face.

"You are a strange lady, mother" Naruto didn't even want to acknowledge what he just heard. It was horrible in every way possible. "Who in their right mind would think something like that?" He admonished, struggling to squeeze some sense into her mind.

"Me".

His eyes grew wide in surprise. "W-what?" He yelled, leaping away from the smiling lady.

He breathed a sigh of relief when the woman waved her hand in dismissal. "I'm joking Naruto" Slowly, he began to move towards her. "But I wouldn't say no if you ever demanded it" And just like that he stopped, deciding that the seat on the other side was a suitable place for him at the moment.

"Stop teasing me, mother. No one loves me here, you all are the same" He pouted as he gradually positioned himself on the chair. The Phenex household was full of bullies, he concluded.

"We all love you, Naruto".

"No! You guys are forcing me to marry that tomato".

Layla sighed at her son's antics, but she couldn't blame Naruto for this. After all, her son for an unknown reason had always hated the Gremory House from the very beginning. Smiling slightly she again glanced at him and spoke "I really don't want to do it, Naruto, but the elders of the devil council are determined about it and we cannot do anything, except to follow this stupid decision." At the conclusion of her sentence, tears began to shine in her eyes again.

"What happened to Riser? As far as I know, that pervert wants to marry Rias very badly" he inquired.

Layla flinched, scowling hard at the tone her son just used to honor his big brother with. She could never understand the reason behind the bitterness the two brothers share with each other. She had seen them fight over things for years but none of them appeared significant enough to spark such jealousy. Even the Yubelluna issue was nothing but a little awkward debate, still not remarkable enough according to her. "I know, Naruto. Riser still wants to marry Rias Gremory but sadly, the marriage contract is between the youngest offspring of both houses. Unfortunately, Riser by no means is younger than you, and that's why the elders evicted him from the contact and mounted you in his position," she explained in a serious manner.

Naruto's head met the cold surface of the table. "Oh come on!!".

"Don't act like that, Naruto".

"Why?"

A sob fled her mouth. "Because if you keep behaving like that, then I will start crying too. I can't see you sad" Her lips began to quiver and eyes began to water.

Naruto blinked. "Mother" his eyes couldn't hold anymore as they started drowning in a pool of tears. "You are the only one who cares about me" In a flash, he engulfed her in a tight hug, earning a satisfying groan from the woman.

"Naruto".

"Mother".

"Finish your food. We have to visit the Gremory Mansion".

"Huh?"

Blue eyes blinked, captivated by the magnificence that was the structure in front of them.

"So this is Gremory's mansion," Naruto whispered, looking up at the manor that was both elegant and humongous.

Layla looked at her son. "Yes, it is. Gremorys are very well respected in the Underworld, so please put on your best behavior in front of them, otherwise, everyone would think low of the Phenex house," she whispered in a warm tone, walking quietly beside him along the winding path.

"Why can't we just teleport directly there? I'm sure they won't mind that, and even if they do, then no one cares about their opinion" he stated, appearing annoyed due to the intense walking he was enduring. While he did enjoy taking the long routes, he was here to talk about some ridiculous marriage contract, so he shouldn't be loitering around and wasting his precious time.

The rest of the Phoenix family who were sauntering behind the pair groaned at his statement. "My lovely child, we can't just teleport directly into people's homes like that. They would assume you were a trespasser and probably attack you on sight and also there's something called the first impression," Layla explained as their pace became slower. Her son was getting restless, she knew and if he kept going on like this then she was sure he would end up doing something unpleasant in front of the Gremorys.

"Leave him, mother, he's just an idiot. He can never understand anything about nobility." Riser, the pinnacle of the Phenex clan declared in an arrogant tone, earning a glare from his sister, mother, and even his queen Yubelluna.

"Master!!" Yubelluna hissed, purple lips curling in disgust.

"Keep your voice low in front of me, filth!!" Riser snarled. How dare this girl speak to him like that? "Never ever behave like this in front of me again, otherwise I will burn you alive. Also, stay away from him when I'm around" he was about to pull the queen away from Naruto but a cold hand of his mother stopped him.

"Riser..." Her cold whisper was enough to render him silent. "Don't even try to touch the girl" her warning propelled him to pull back his hand. "She is only your queen when you have a rating game, otherwise she has the right to stay with anyone as much as she wants" She finished her statement with a bone-chilling glare.

"Fine" he grumbled but not before giving a seething look to his queen. The bitch was getting out of his hands. He had to do something about it.

Pleased by the desired effect, Layla ruffled the hair of Naruto and smiled at Yubelluna. "Don't take his words seriously. He can be an idiot sometimes," she mumbled, appearing a bit guilty because of her son's behavior.

"You don't have to tell me, mother, I never take him seriously," Naruto said in a careless manner, after all, who had the time to listen to that pervert. "And as for Yubelluna" He smirked as his eyes veered over to the girl. "I'm sure she doesn't either, right Luna?" Gently he poked her nose, a thing which didn't go unnoticed by Layla.

Yubelluna blushed madly. "Y-yes" Her submissive side began to crawl out in search of her dominant master.

"Nice" The way he grabbed her cheeks and caressed them made her legs go weak. It was euphoric and the fact he was doing it in public only intensified her emotions further.

"N-Naruto" It was Layla who spoke this time. She was looking surprised by the things which were transpiring in front of her. "What are you doing?" She asked while part of her was seething because she had never been on the receiving end of such an intense gesture from her son.

"He is acting, mother" Riser grumbled, annoyed by the fact that his queen still couldn't recognize this ridiculous facade of his brother.

"No!!" Yubelluna exclaimed. "Master Naruto would never do that" her words earned her an innocent look from her dear master.

"Whatever" Riser looked away from the idiot trio. No matter what he tells them, they would never believe him. 'Pathetic woman' He thought to himself.

The rest of the trip went in a serene manner as no one dared to intrude on the conversation between Mother and son. Five minutes later, the Phenex family arrived at the front of the giant castle where they had an escort to welcome them. They were greeted nicely by the guards and hot maids of the Gremory family where they were then led into the mansion.

Entering the castle's main door, Naruto immediately whined as soon as he saw several people, which he guessed were the Gremory family, standing in the middle of the hall.

The first devil was a red-haired man in his mid-thirties with crimson hair and a remarkable goatee. He was wearing a stylish white tuxedo with expensive black shoes.

Next to him was a beautiful young woman, appearing to be in her late twenties and had shoulder-length beautiful brown hair. She was wearing a cream-colored dress that reached just above her ankles, showing every curve of her body in its full glory.

Standing, a bit, away from the two was another devil who was quite a handsome man and had the appearance of a 20-year old boy who also adorned crimson hair. By his side stood another beautiful woman. She also appeared to be in her twenties with long silky brown hair and matching eyes. Her hair was held all the way down to her back in a ponytail. She was sporting a red-colored dress that reached all the way down to her ankles.

The next person was the one who shocked him the most. She was like a mythical beauty, with glorious silver hair and equaling fascinating silver eyes. Her hair was flowing all the way down to her back, giving the already adorable lady a more elegant touch. Her red lipstick was a thing of magnificence and her dress was as amazing as anything could be in this tainted world.

'Amazing' he thought to himself before turning his head to see the last devil.

The next individual immediately caught Naruto's attention as she appeared to be around the same age as him. A young girl with crimson locks, like the men, touching her shoulder and an elegant cream-colored dress like the brunette woman which was concealing her body from the leering eyes of his brother. For some reason, the girl looked very familiar but unfortunately, he couldn't identify her at the moment. Then slowly by slowly, the clockwork inside his mind started operating in sync and when the girl unexpectedly turned her gaze on to him, it ultimately dawned on him.

"Greetings my friends of the Phoenix family. I hope you had a safe trip here?'' The crimson haired man greeted the Phenex family.

"Greetings to you, Lord Gremory and Lady Gremory." Revan replied with a smile "The trip was pleasant." He added, but before their small meeting could go any further, two shrill outcries thundered throughout the large room.

"Tomato!"

"Banana!"

Startled by the sudden commotion, everyone turned their attention to the direction of the shouts and saw a very unusual sight.

Naruto and Rias were standing very close to each other while their fingers were accusingly pointing to their faces. Both the teenagers were looking thoroughly annoyed, if their vicious glares were anything to go by.

"How did you become so...umm... un-flat chested?" Naruto spoke first, seemingly shocked by what he was seeing. The development this witch went through was unimaginable. The last time when he saw her, she was as flat as his brother's personality.

Rias turned red due to the unexpected comment on her body. "I was beautiful and developed from the start, Banana" she blurted out "But what about you? How did you become so...so...un-ugly?" she smirked, not even caring about her own small blush.

Hearing her question, he perked up, looking at her questioningly "Oii...what do you mean by that, Tomato?" He scoffed before a small smile tugged his lips. "I was and I still am charming as ever. You can ask your friend" he answered smugly, enjoying the look of embarrassment on her face.

"Akeno is an exception".

"Really? Then what about Koneko, she still likes my patting right?"

"Don't mention her. She doesn't like you".

"Jealous?" He taunted "Because I never said she likes me. Also, If you want I can pat you too if you promise to revoke this contract" His smile was on the verge of splitting his mouth now. It has been so many days since he last enjoyed teasing someone this much.

"P-Pervert!"

"Only for you, my juicy Tomato".

Rias was practically fuming now, but she didn't know whether it was because of the anger, embarrassment, or pleasure. All the emotions were dancing together in perfect synchronization. "Don't call me that. I'm not your girlfriend" she shrieked, glaring in the hope he would stop his teasing. Since when did he become like this? Where was that timid Naruto?

"You wish" he scoffed, poking his tongue out at her.

The two continued glaring at each other for a while before they both looked away and huffed.

"Tomato Witch".

"Banana Head".

Layla couldn't believe what she just witnessed. It was terrible, very terrible. Her Naruto could never tease someone like that. It was physically impossible because of his shyness and manners, at least that's what she used to think. Now, after watching this side of her son, her mind couldn't help but believe the words of her elder son, Riser. "He is acting, right?" She glanced at her son who was currently seething at the scene in front of him.

Looking away from the hot Gremory, Riser turned to his mother. "What? Hahaha" Silently, he giggled at the foolishness of the woman. Guess, his mother was really dumb when it comes to Naruto. "He is not acting right now. That's how he really is" he murmured, making sure his mother hears every word.

"W-what?" The blonde woman stuttered with her eyes wide open.

"He is a tease and a flirt just like the rest of us, or maybe even better than us" Riser cackled.

"Master Naruto" Yubelluna, unexpectedly moaned. If her master was like this in real then that means she can be dominated by him anytime, anywhere, and anyhow. Bliss was all running through her mind.

Layla on the other hand was silent. If what Riser was telling her was the truth then that means her Naruto was not innocent, instead, he was a tease and a hopeless flirt…. Just like her!!! "Fufufu… Naruto" her giggles made everyone around her uncomfortable. They knew what those giggles meant.

Ravel, who was standing quite far away from her family, didn't know what was happening. Her dear brother had never behaved like this in front of her. Why was he smiling at that girl? His smile was only hers, no one else had the right to see it. 'She even called him Banana Head!!' She thought, fuming hard on the inside. Though she had never used her powers on others, but now, burning this girl wasn't sounding like that bad of an idea.

The awkward silence of the room was finally disrupted by a rather loud shout, courtesy of Lucifer "Oii, how dare you call my little sister a tomato-witch?! She's the most beautiful girl in the whole underworld." the Lucifer of the Underworld, whined like a child, glaring openly at the Phenex boy.

Naruto's eyes twitched. "Rias, most beautiful?" He turned to his mother. "See, I told you. Gremories are idiots" he pointed to a dumbfounded Sirzechs and smiled smugly.

"Idiot?" Sirzechs whispered, sipping the incoherent word as if it was the most horrible drink. "I'm not an idiot" he yelled.

Naruto giggled. "Every idiot says so" his jabs made Lucifer more uncomfortable.

"Guys tell him, I'm not an idiot!!" The redheaded leader turned to his family for support but unfortunately, none of them said anything. Stupid family.

"Why are you even asking them, they are as-" his words and ego died a premature death when a cold hand squeezed his cheek harshly. 'Fuck' he immediately recognized the owner of the hands and groaned because, at that moment, he knew he fucked up. His mother was in her Leader mode now.

"Na-ru-to" Oh Satan the heat this woman was emanating.

"So-o-ry" he tried to light up the mood but decided against it when the heat rose to unimaginable levels. "Where is Lady Gremory? And how should I apologize? Also, I don't want any reward after this" He whispered, glaring mildly at the redhead man in front of him. Bastard.

Layla did a complete turnover of her personality. "Aww come on, you always reject my rewards" she pouted while her husband who was watching the whole thing couldn't help but sweatdrop. "Lady Gremory is there!" She pointed in the direction where two beautiful women were standing. One was barely holding her laughs while the other one was looking at Naruto in amusement.

Naruto sighed, striding slowly towards the silver-haired beauty. Finally reaching in front of her, he bowed in respect. "I'm sorry for my words and the disrespect I expressed towards your daughter and son, Lady Gremory" he apologized, trying to sound as regretful as possible. His ears twitched when suddenly the whole room went silent. 'What did I do now? I displayed proper respect and manners this time, or should I have called her babe? Hmm...' Were some rational thoughts going through his mind.

As if to answer his thoughts, a soft laugh entered his ears. Alarmed, he quickly turned to the direction of the laugh and saw that it was the brown-haired woman who was smiling lightly at him. "My My, he's an adorable kid, Layla," the woman said, eyeing him like he was some sort of a delicious and exotic meal.

Layla didn't answer back to the comment of the woman. It was unnecessary and she had many other things to do like, staring at her son with a deadpan expression on her face. "Naruto," she mumbled, hoping that the boy would not make her repeat her words.

A confused Naruto turned towards her. "Yes, mother?" He asked, still looking around for the reason why everyone became silent all of a sudden.

Instead of explaining anything, the Phenex matriarch slowly walked near her son and bonked him on the head. "She's not lady Gremory, Naruto! She's Grayfia Lucifuge, the maid of Lucifer," she cried out, shaking her head in shame and disappointment.

A shocked Naruto stumbled in surprise as he turned back to Grayfia and inspected her body intently "What?!! But you told me that Lady Gremory is the most beautiful woman of the Gremory household and according to me" he pointed to a stunned Grayfia "She is the most beautiful woman here" he exclaimed, eyes still locked on the voluptuous form of the maid.

Red tinted the face of Grayfia. It was the first time someone had complimented her so bluntly in front of other women, who undoubtedly were more beautiful than her. Usually, people would ignore her presence, after all, she was just an insignificant maid of Lucifer. The meaning of her existence was to follow the command of the most powerful devil and she gave up her whole life for it. For countless years she had been working tirelessly for the Lucifer but not for once had he complimented her like this boy just did. This boy was different and powerful, she could sense, and that intrigued her. "Thank you for the compliment, Lord Phenex" she whispered, bowing slightly to show her regards.

His heart stopped breathing. His eyes grew wide and his lips went dry as soon as he heard her melodious voice. It was amazing, even more than his mother's voice, which according to him was the most melodious sound in the world. He wanted more of it. His heart wanted to succumb to it. "N-No problem, Grayfia" Naruto wanted to curse himself for stuttering like an idiot in front of others but, right now he didn't care about anything. He just wanted to look at that face and hear her voice for eternity, even if it meant marrying that nincompoop.

Grayfia's smile got more noticeable as she saw the blush on his face, but before she could say anything, her master decided to intervene. "You stay away from my Queen. She is not your fiance. Rias is over there" Sirzech's shout sparked a sense of annoyance inside her. After so many years, she was finally getting infuriated by his antics.

"I wouldn't mind if-" Naruto was about to respond but an ear tearing shout interrupted him before he could even start. "No... I don't wanna marry this idiot. Even Riser is better than him" his face deflated at the jab. Was this girl being serious?

"Don't compare me to this pervert. I'm far better than him" he retorted with a pout while pointing an accusing finger at Riser who was seething madly because of the humiliation that was being thrown at him.

"Both of you, shut up!!" Saala Gremory, the wife of Lucifer exclaimed, startling everyone present, even the ever cold Grayfia. Her fury meshed eyes landed on Rias, who quickly took a step back in fear. "You worthless princess... You are going to marry him, Ok?" She whispered, but Rias was smart enough to decipher the warning behind the words

"Y-yes sister!!".

Saala then turned her head towards Naruto, who was standing silently, looking agitated about the whole thing. "And you, Layla's spoiled brat! You are going to join the Kuoh Academy, Ok?!" she flared up her energy to intimidate him.

"..." Naruto didn't answer, he just kept staring at her with mild resentment in his eyes.

"Ok?" The room began to heat up as Saala intensified the amount of energy around her.

Blue eyes got lost in the gold. In that moment, an ancient power stirred from deep within Naruto, sending a stream of energy directly into Saala's eyes. Strangely enough, neither one of them actually noticed it happen.

"Fine… Whatever" his voice was now blank, neither kindness nor resentment was there.

Saala nodded in satisfaction, happy that Layla's brat capitulated so quickly, just as she was turning away, she heard a faint, evil whisper that seemed to echo from every corner of the mansion.

"But keep this in mind Lady Gremory. You can call Naruto anything but never ever disrespect Layla, or the love that a mother has for their child. Layla is everything to Naruto, and he will even win against this husband of yours if needed". She immediately blinked and was about to yell at the boy but halted when she saw him standing next to Rias, acting as if nothing had happened. 'What was that?' She asked herself. The boy didn't do it, she was sure as he was busy fighting with her sister in law. "Then who?" She looked at the boy for one last time and frowned, something or someone was protecting him.

"Eww, now I have to attend school with you" Naruto's whining caused everyone to halt their discussion.

"What's wrong with that, Banana?" Rias snapped.

"Everything".

"Hmph".

"Hmph".
