Hi Guys! This is the Scythe of Doom here with my first story. First thing's first, I do not own all components of this story. BOTH Fairy tail and Highschool DxD characters and stories belong to their respective owners. I was inspired by Natsuflado69's story so definitely some kudos to them for giving me inspiration. Also please follow and review. SOOOOOOO without further ado, Here. It. Goes. Let's Think.

Earthland July 1, X377

Deep in the woods by some mountains and caves, there was a huge clearing that was just dirt and rocks. There was not a single patch of grass, or anything that had water for that matter, within 1000 feet. In the clearing there stood two figures. They were staring each other down. One was small, he was no taller than 1.1m with pink hair and a scaly scarf around his neck. He was concentrated on his opponent on the opposite end. He was in a fierce offensive stance, ready to make the first move.

On the opposite end, stood his opponent. A gigantic, FREAKING, dragon that stood at 20m tall. He stood with his knees bent and his arms stretched out as if about to receive a hug (a death hug that is). He looked at his opponent with an arrogant grin, as if knowing he was about to defeat his opponent. Which is to be expected of a 20m dragon facing off against a kid who hasn't even gone through puberty yet (lol). Nonetheless, he had to make himself look somewhat serious, since he was facing his son after all.

Natsu, the salmoned hair kid, lit his entire body on fire and darted toward the dragon with his right arm drawn back charging for a punch. As he got ever closer to his opponent, Igneel, he motioned his fist forward. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist"

Igneel took one of his free hands and tried to block it, keyword tried. As the attack made contact with Igneel's palm, his arm was forcibly moved back and he even lost his footing and stumbled back a little.

"He has so much power for a little kid, this is amazing. If he was in my old world I wouldn't have to worry about the Dragon seed so much and he'd just have two forms, not to mention his magic." Igneel thought.

While Igneel was lost in his train of thought, Natsu immediately jumped up and aimed at Igneel's snout. "Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame" And the move hit dead on. "Haha" thought Natsu. At this, Igneel fell onto his back creating an extremely loud thud. Natsu was jumping up and down with the energy of a crackhead and yelling celebrating his first victory over his dad.

"Haha I DID IT! I finally did it! I BEAT IGNEEL!"

Igneel thought "This brat! He actually managed down me while I was thinking… wait a minute that Brilliant Flame wasn't normal at all."

"SHUT UP you little brat! You just got lucky that I wasn't focused that's all!"

"But didn't you say never to lose focus in a fight because then it could be your last fight ever" said Natsu with a big grin on his face.

"Hmph. Yes I did. Fine, you can have this fight. It's not like you could ever do it again" said Igneel with a smirk.

"What!, You know what you big lizard , I challenge you to another fight right now." Said Natsu. At this he got into his earlier fighting stance.

"Too Easy." Thought Igneel.

Natsu then jumped again and immediately went for a "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist". Except this time Igneels took his palm and swatted Natsu right into a nearby boulder face first. Natsu's body dropped to the ground leaving behind a Natsu shaped indentation in the boulder. As he got up he was rubbing his head after the damage had been dealt. "Owwwwwwww ughghgh." Natsu whined.

"SEE I told you brat the last time was luck. YOU WILL NEVER BEAT ME HAHAHAHA" Proclaimed Igneel

"Ughgh A WIN IS STILL A WIN DAD!" Said Natsu while pouting.

"Yes a win is still a win Natsu, especially when it was the enemy that made the mistake. Now tell me boy why was that last Brilliant flame so different from the ones you've done before" Igneel said

"Well, remember that time we were in the north and I asked you where Ice came from? And you said that it was formed from water freezing? After the snowball fight, I thought of something. If the snow was soft but when I made it into a ball it became hard, and if I kept pressing on it hard enough it would turn into ice, which is hard. I basically just kept trying that with Brilliant Flame because it's essentially a snowball, but with fire. So I kept compressing it with more and more fire and it eventually became hard as rock! So now, even if you are fireproof you still get damage because its like getting hit by a boulder" Natsu explained

"No wonder I felt that, it felt like a little pebble hit me HAHA. I gotta give you that one Natsu that was smart, EVEN I didn't think of that." Igneel said.

"Heeheee" said Natsu as he stood proudly

"Natsu do you have any more ideas like that?"

"Yes! But they're all a secret until I can get them to work" Said Natsu

"I have a suggestion then, remember what I taught you about feints?" igneel asked

"Hehe, already one step ahead of you dad. I thought about how I can use "Fire Dragon's Roar" to hide "Brilliant Flame" behind it and immediately hit them as the roar ends" said Natsu

"Then why didn't you use it on me?" asked Igneel

"Well I saw you were distracted by whatever already so I didn't have to cause a distraction that and you are fireproof so my Roar would have been a waste of effort" Said Natsu

"Haha I'm proud of you my boy" Said Igneel as he rustled Natsu's hair

The father and son duo were walking through the eclipse gate as planned. However what happened next was completely unexpected. Instantly Igneel realized why the surrounding swirls of color that was primarily red was.

"No, this is the interdimensional portal, ughgh. Well at least I don't have to worry about Natsu's dragon form" though Igneel

As Natsu stirred awake, "Igneel where are we?"

"Truth be told Natsu, I am your biological father and I left my home world a long time ago but it seems I was destined to come back, that's where we're going now" Said Igneel

"Where are we going dad?" Asked Natsu smiling, finding out that Igneel was his actual father

"We're headed to my homeworld and it's called Earth. This place is very different from Earthland. In this world there are fewer mages and those human mages are normally terrorists." Said Igneel

"Why did you specifically say humans dad?" asked Natsu

"Well on Earth, there are three 3 Major factions that are separate races. There are Angles at the command of an entity called God. There are Fallen Angels who have fallen from the graces from the same God. Then there are Devils, that's what you and I are. We Devils live in the underworld and we contract human souls. Alooooong time ago, All of the three factions were at war, for some stupid reason." Said Igneel

"So what is it like now?" asked Natsu

"I don't know… but I guess we'll find out" Said Igneel

"Wait a minute, so if we're devils then what then how are you a dragon?" asked Natsu

"The Dragneel family is one of the 72 original devil families. They are the most prestigious families in the underworld. Our Dragneel family, in the beginning, was started by a dragon who mated with a demon and the rest is history. We have a human form and a dragon form. I left the underworld and that world completely before the war started. Said Igneels

"Ooh oooh ooh, Does that mean that I can be a dragon TOO?!" Asked Natsu

"Yes, but you have to be older and train hard to get the form. Since we are devils, when we are in our devil forms we can have wings too." Said Igneel

"Ooooh when we get to this world can I get my wings! Please! Please! Please! Please! Please!" siad Natsu

"Hahaha no problem Natsu but just so you know the moment you are comfortable flying you are gonna be carrying boulders 10x heavier than when you were runnin!" Said Igneel

"YEahehe I get wings and a dragon form woohooooo!" exclaimed Natsu. At this he was jumping up and down on Igneel's back

"Yes NOW SHUT UP AnD BE QUIET AND SIT STILL, I'm gonna fly at top speed" Exclaimed Igneels

As he said he aimed straight and darted off resembling only a blur. They were quickly approaching a tear in the Dimension and…
