ooo. The Peculiar Predicament of Catherine Cullen

DYING IS EASY, this much Catherine Cullen knows. She's died many times in the three hundred years she's been on this earth. Living is much harder, granted many people had it a lot worse than she ever did, but having a obsessive vampire ( Ambrose of Volturi ) with the power of resurrection does really kind of suck. She never loved him, that was the problem, in his eyes at least, and he wanted her too, needed her to love him the same. But, she never could. And so, he killed her and she was reborn and it was the best thing to happen to her. Her second life was not one filled with half as much strife and she had two loving older half-brothers — Catherine Hamilton. She died young and at the hands of the vampire again when she failed to love him again but at least the second time around, she died to save her Alexander and James.

In her third life, she lived longer than her previous two, she reached the ripe age of nineteen. Catherine isn't sure what took him so long to find her but she's glad for whatever it was. Her third life, she thrived and out of all her lives it was her favourite. Granted, she got sick of seeing the face that followed her from her first life and she was starting to hate her name; it was spelt with 'K' in this life, it seemed that she would forever be stuck with the name Catherine. In her third life, she fell in love, truly and deeply. It was her first time falling for someone romantically despite the fact she had been married in her first life. His name was Jasper and they had grown up together, it was an arranged marriage and there was a time where she hated him but he changed for her, for the better. They were soulmates, she loved him the way Ambrose wanted her to love him. But it ended tragically, Jasper joined the Union along side Beau and they both went missing in action during the Civil War. It was possible that they both became vampires but Catherine never got the chance to find out — Ambrose found her.

Her third life was the most tragic because she found the one person she had been looking her entire life — her biological father. The one from the first life and the one that must be her father in all of them because she always has the same genes no matter who she's born to ( she's caused a lot of divorces but that's not a story she likes to talk about ) but she died before she could meet him. Technically she died right in front of him; she had been so close yet so far. She was a nurse during the Civil War and he had been the doctor that worked at night, it was the first night she had seen him and she new the moment that she heard his name he was her father — Carlisle Cullen. She had just been about to corner him as he left to take a break or possibly fetch some more bandages, she wasn't sure why he was leaving the building but she followed him. She was human still so she was unaware that there was another vampire in the area. She had hardly made it two steps out that door when Ambrose slammed her down into an alleyway, her neck snapped on impact. Catherine knows that Carlisle saw her die, she was alive for a few minutes afterward and she could hear Carlisle trying to save her while Ambrose laughed.

In her fourth life, she did a lot, historically wise, but it was lonely. She met Vincent Van Gogh and his little brother Theodorus ( Vincent Van Gogh was absolutely smitten with her and she would brag about it if she could ) ( also, Vincent gave his ear to her after he had a mental breakdown, now this, she wouldn't brag about because it's sad but she feels like the whole Vincent Van Gogh having a crush on her and the whole Vincent Van Gogh giving his ear to an unknown prostitute rumour go hand in hand ) and they were friends for their whole lives, it was quite an adventure. Vincent proposed to her but she turned him down, she was still hung up over Jasper. Ambrose found them and he shot Vincent in the wheat fields and he turned her there, he killed her three weeks later because she still didn't love him.

In her fifth life, she doesn't remember much of it but it was painful and she died young, not at the hands of Ambrose this time. But, still somehow he figured out she had died and she was brought into her sixth life where she was kidnapped by another vampire who wanted to protect her from Ambrose by the time she was ten, she doesn't remember much of her family from this life. She was turned into a Vampire at the age of fifteen this time, after he turned her he went back into hiding in the sewers where he liked it. He thought her gift would protect her, he seemed to have forgotten it failed to protect her the last three times.

Even though she was only fifteen, she adopted a kid in this life, not legally, and she committed her first human murder. And not that she condones murder in anyway ( the dick totally deserved it, she swears! ) the act of stabbing someone who abused their wife and abuses their little four-year-old son in the throat with a broken beer bottle is very thrilling. The kid, his name is Edwin but everyone calls him Eddie had no other family after she killed his father so took him in. She eventually had to turn him when he was fourteen, he was dying. He had been beaten within an inch of his life by group of teenaged boys, Edwin asked her to do it and so she complied. They lived a decade together before Ambrose found them both, she managed to convince Ambrose to spare Edwin by promising to marry him, she never did marry him — Ambrose killed her two minutes before the wedding, granted she was trying to run away.

Which leads to her seventh life, it was a short one. He killed her when she was just sixteen, for no other reason then the fact that he thought it would be fun. At least, he waited until after she got to see the first Star Wars in theatre but he didn't give her very long to digest the masterpiece of the movie, he took her out behind the movie theatre and tore out her jugular as she begged for mercy. And now, she was onto her eighth life — Catherine Helen Swan.

CATHERINE HELEN SWAN is just like Catherine Eleonora Cullen, down to the very last strawberry blonde strand on her hair. Just like how every other Catherine is, the only thing that ever changes is her personality and her ability to control her gift. Only, Catherine is the only one that knows she's not a Swan. She was born an older sister, which is new, she was usually younger, a miracle child the parents weren't expecting. So, she was the older ( by a year and a half and she never lets Bella forget it! ) sister of Isabella Marie Swan but she looked nothing like her, or any of the Swans for that matter. And, the Swans were the first family to not think much of it ( although she is pretty sure she might've been the reason for Charlie and Renee's divorce, yikes ) and they loved her unconditionally. They didn't think she was a changeling or a bastard, they truly accepted her as their daughter.

Everything is perfect, she's never had such a perfect family before but she reaches the age of eighteen and she knows she's running on borrowed time. The only reason she's last this long without seeing any sign of Ambrose is because Renee likes to pick sunny places to live, Catherine hopes she can at least make it until her twentieth birthday. And perhaps she might've had a shot at it if Bella hadn't decided to move to Forks, Washington ( little sisters, huh? How annoying! ) to live with their dad. And Catherine knows she didn't have to follow but what if Ambrose tracked her scent on Bella, she had to be there to make sure Ambrose didn't hurt her family; she would never let him hurt those that she cared about.

So, Catherine Swan goes, knowing that she could be walking into death's greedy palms, but she'd walk willingly into them if it meant saving her family. However, she doesn't expect to see so many familiar faces, she doesn't expect to find that her love is still alive, she doesn't expect her father to be a doctor at the local hospital and also the 'adoptive' father of her husband but most of all she doesn't expect her little sister to be such a cryptid fucker. But, Catherine guesses that's what happens when old wounds are opened . . . It can't get more fucked up than this!

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Hello, yes, I'm back, Catherine's back AGAIN! Yes, I'm bringing back that fanfiction I wrote back before I really knew what fanfiction was or had access to a computer to post it online ( thank god because I would've been SO cringey at that age ) I had wrote this like thirty page fic about Carlisle Cullen's forgotten daughter in this little camp rock notepad. Only in that fic, Carlisle's daughter was extremely bitter and had raging daddy issues and she hated Esme ( who could HATE Esme? nobody that's who!) so I fixed that in this fic as well as many other things because I don't remember anything about that fic expect for her having daddy issues and hating esme and that it was written in a camp rock book in the shape of a cd. I tried bringing it back a few months ago but it flopped and I lost inspiration for it BUT when I had a nap this afternoon I came up with a similar but more angst filled plot for Catherine! And I'm so excited to share it with you guys cause this time I think I have it right! Updates will still be slow because I have other things to focus on ( like getting myself out of this month-long depressive episode! ) but I promise there will be chapters published this time around

So welcome back to the new version of Catherine Cullen/Swan's story, I like this plot so much better than the last SOLELY because of the fact that the Cullens will be going feral over the fact that Eddie boy found his mate the same day that Jasper discovers his wife has been reincarnated and is also Carlisle's daughter like the family meeting that will entail because of it is SO chaotic and legendary! That being said, I hope you all like this plot better, if you do please let me know what you like about it and also I'd love to hear any theories you have about this book!

This is mainly a Jasper Hale fic ( although it's not just going to be a romance book, it's going to focus on Jasper & Catherine developing a friendship because as you'll come to find out, that's not how their relationship started out when they first met each other ( insert side-eye emojis ) and it's also gonna focus on Catherine coming to terms with her father being Carlisle Cullen,, the son of the pastor ( insert side-eye emojis ) so yeah this story isn't about Jasper getting laid ( he's already been laid a few times,,, side-eye emojis ) it's a whole lot of angst and wholesome Cullen & Hartford bonding time!

This book is first and foremost dedicated to BEE who is the queen of Twilight fanfiction and αѕтяαєα who also writes amazing twilight fanfiction and harry potter fanfiction as well and she's always there for me when I need to ramble about a plot or a character! I'd tell you to check them out but they don't have profiles on this site! However, despite that I felt bad about not dedicating this to them on here!
