Rias blinked for a few moments, taken aback with her pawn's sudden question, almost as if she never expected such a thing to come out of his mouth. Everyone else (except for Kiba) around her felt the same way, and were either looking at Sora with their eyes wide or mouths agape. It took a full five seconds for Rias to fully register Sora's words before finding the correct words as a response.

"W-What?" she asked in confusion. Due to her shock taking over, she wasn't able to understand what Sora meant. Sure, she heard him say that he wanted Kairi to stay with them, but what exactly did he mean by that?

"Can Kairi stay with us?" Sora repeated, a lot calmer this time but his eyes remained pleading for approval. Going about this in a disrespectful way will lead to nothing, but he still wanted to get his point across. "I…I know that I'm being selfish right now, but… I can't… I don't want to be away from Kairi again…" he muttered, sending a look of sorrow at his childhood friend before turning back to his King. "...not after we've been separated for so many times already… please let her stay with us, Rias."

Roxas immediately noticed that Rias was having a slight difficulty in making a decision, which wasn't good at all. This might lead to something bad if not resolved as soon as possible. "We can try talking to—" he tried to speak up, but Xion quickly cut him off by tugging on his uniform.

"This isn't our problem," Xion whispered into his ear while shaking her head. As much as she wanted to try convincing Rias Gremory to consider Sora's wish, they could only hope for the best. They were not part of her peerage that they can interfere with this matter.

"But…" The blonde Nobody tried to say, only to stop himself in the end. Xion was right, this had nothing to do with them. Furthermore, it would be considered speaking out of turn if his big mouth said something. He would only end up getting himself into trouble eventually.

Although reluctant, Roxas gave his friend a stiff nod before simply turning his attention towards Rias Gremory.

The Gremory girl absorbed all of Sora's words slowly into her mind, as she began to think about what would be her response to this. On one hand, there was nothing wrong with letting Kairi stay with her, Sora, Asia, and Koneko in her apartment. Despite the fact that they were both competing for the attention of the same boy (Kairi just didn't know it yet), she wouldn't want to deny the young girl a home for such a selfish reason. She had pride, yes, but it would never triumph over her good nature. Besides, she didn't want Sora being in despair over getting separated from his childhood friend again. It's the least she could do for everything he has done for her.

On the other hand, there was no possible way for Kairi stay over at the apartment for the time being, since there were no spare rooms left. The two remaining ones were already occupied and were now Sora and Asia's bedrooms. Of course, she didn't want her pawn resorting to sleeping on the couch just to lend Kairi his room, he deserved to sleep on a bed because he lived there.

Wait a minute… lending a room?

An imaginary light bulb appeared over Rias' head. "I think… this could play very well into my favor…" A triumphant smirk adorned her features, realizing the hidden advantage she would gain if she accepts. It's not like she was going to do anything bad, but it may affect someone because it was obvious that he won't be able to take it.

Making up her mind, Rias looked over towards Sora and gave him a gentle smile. "I see no problem with it. I shall allow Kairi to stay with us over at my apartment."

Her answer surprised everyone there, especially Kairi and three exorcists. Neither of them could see it coming and they actually thought that their ears were playing tricks on them. Well, that was more of the exorcists' reaction. Kairi, on the other hand, blinked a few times and stared blankly at Rias. She had no intention of asking if she could stay with Sora and respected the fact that her beloved friend was now a devil, so she was expecting that the Gremory will decline in a polite manner. She already saw how Rias was protective of the devils that serve her, it wouldn't be strange if she didn't heed Sora's plea. No, Kairi would not hold it against her if that happened. After all, she wasn't a devil and had no business being around them…

Now, she couldn't help but be in awe over how Rias granted Sora's request like it was nothing. Did something happen beyond their knowledge?

While everyone else was overtaken by shock, Sora couldn't stop the biggest grin he had for the day from showing up on his features. The moment he heard Rias' answer, it felt like everything around him stopped for a moment while he slowly absorbed her words. Almost instantly, he was filled with joy and he wanted nothing more than to climb on top of the highest building and scream out how happy he was right now. Still, he was able to contain his happiness and simply mustered a wide grin while clenching his fists before him.

"Thanks, Rias! Thanks for hearing me out and letting Kairi stay with us," he smiled in pure determination. As a friend, it was only rightful of him to ensure Rias that he'll repay the favor somehow. "I'll make it up you no matter what! You won't regret this, that's a promise!"

"Now slow down there," Rias chuckled in amusement before waving off Sora's declaration. That was yet another thing that she loved about him. "I may be granting permission for Kairi to stay at our home for the time being, but it's not my decision on whether she would accept your offer or not."

That made the boy pause, as he tilted his head in confusion. "Huh? What does that mean?"

"Kairi can stay with us for the time being, however, that is not something for me to decide. That decision falls upon Griselda Quarta here, because according to her, Kairi was left under her care by a friend." Rias explained, pointing to said green-haired exorcist which earned her the attention of everyone else. Griselda only blinked in surprise, realizing how the redhead's words made sense. "Therefore, Kairi is her responsibility and it's up to her if she would let your childhood friend to temporarily move to an apartment filled with devils."

Sora didn't waste time and immediately turned to the older exorcist, a pleading expression once again showing on his face. Even if it meant pleading on his knees, he had to convince Griselda to let Kairi stay with him. He didn't want Kairi to be away from him again!

"Miss Griselda, please! Please let Kairi stay with… with us! I promise we won't let anything bad happen to her!" he pleaded. Oh, how he wanted to say 'stay with me' instead, but stopped himself at the last moment and thought twice about his words. His shoulders slumped and Sora turned his gaze to the ground sadly. "I may be acting selfish right now, but… I really don't want her to be away from me anymore, even for just a bit… I'm tired of us getting separated again and again… why can't fate just leave us alone?" he whispered the last part to himself, hiding his own frustrations to himself.

Griselda offered him a look of sympathy for a few moments, as she could see it in Sora's eyes, how he looked so tired of going through the same thing over and over. Kairi told her about how she reunites with Sora for a short period of time before getting separated once again. If it was any normal person, they would likely go crazy or lose hope that things would go back to the way they were. Sora clearly deserves this chance, and she won't take it away from him. Not wanting to make this last any longer than it already is, she cleared her throat and began to speak.

"Indeed, Ms. Gremory makes a valid point that Kairi is my responsibility. Therefore, I will not waste any more time and go straight to the point." She spoke in a mature tone, before turning her attention towards the young redhead. "Kairi, I have complete faith in you and your actions, so I want you to make your own decision on this. Whatever you choose, I will support it. Now let me ask you…" Kairi pursed her lips together and mentally prepared for what was next. "Do you want to stay with the devils?"

Kairi looked at Griselda for a few moments, before turning towards Sora. The lazy bum looked really nervous of what she was going to say, so she gave him a small, yet comforting smile that made him feel relieved to the point of nearly collapsing to his knees. She turned back towards the green-haired woman and took a deep breath. As much as she felt indifferent about leaving Griselda, Irina, and Xenovia, the older exorcist trusted her in this, and that was enough for Kairi to feel assured that she wasn't doing anything wrong. Besides, her original goal heading into this world was to find Sora, and she was able to accomplish it.

"I do," she nodded without hesitation.

"If that is your choice, then so be it. I will respect your wish," Griselda said, smiling pleasantly. She turned towards Rias and gave the redhead a nod. "I leave Kairi under your care, Rias Gremory. Keep her safe and treat her well. You never know when our enemies will make their move."

"I understand. I will keep my word about informing some people about our agreement. If all goes well, we'll gain a few more allies when we fight against Kokabiel and that Organization XIII member," Rias nodded in return. "But I have to ask, what will your group do while we await for our enemies to show themselves?"

Griselda pondered over that question for a few seconds, before she thought of something. She didn't like it that they had nothing to do while the devils were clearly contributing. "We shall keep an eye out Freed Sellzen's Nobody and learn more about him if he decides to make an appearance again. If we do, we will inform you immediately. As of now, we are in need of more information instead of waiting for us to get attacked."

"Sounds fair," Rias shrugged her shoulders before taking a glance at her recovering knight. A look of sorrow crossed her features before she continued. This was a crazy idea, but it might be the only way of helping Yuuto. She had no idea if the exorcists would be willing to cooperate, but it's the only thing she could think of. "Can I expect you to visit the school buiding tomorrow? I want to talk with you regarding an important matter."

That sudden request got Griselda confused. Was there something else that the Gremory heiress needed to discuss about? It made her turn her gaze in the same direction where Rias was looking at. Maybe it would give her some context. Things quickly clicked together inside her mind upon realizing that it likely had something to do with that young blonde man who was the survivor of the Holy Sword Project.

This made her conclude that it was something serious, and it shouldn't be taken lightly.

I suppose there is nothing wrong with it…" Griselda made a thinking pose for a few seconds, before nodding her head. "Very well, I accept. Whatever it is you want to discuss, I can tell that it is something of dear importance to you."

Rias didn't say anything and only nodded in return, feeling relieved that Griselda agreed to her hidden plea. She didn't need a pyschic to tell her that the older exorcist knew what she was talking about, but she can keep it hidden from everyone else for now. Rias then turned towards Sora, who was doing his best to prevent himself from rushing towards Kairi, which made the girl chuckle.

"Sora," she called out, getting his attention. Rias gave him a reassuring smile before inclining her head towards Kairi. "It's okay. You can go to her now."

The boy widened his eyes as he stared dumbfoundedly at his master for the next few moments. He looked at Kairi, then back towards Rias, before finally setting his eyes on his beloved childhood friend. He couldn't contain himself anymore. With a look of determination on his face, he ran over towards the surprised Kairi.

"Kairi!" he cried, causing the girl to snap out of her little trance as Sora wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug. Kairi became wide-eyed for a bit, before melting in his embrace and returned the hug as much as she could. She didn't want to let go just yet, not when they were finally together, and nothing coming in between them.

"It seems like our business here is truly done," Griselda smirked at the heartfelt embrace by the two teens, before she went towards her two fellow exorcists. She took Irina's other arm and slung it around her shoulder in support, glancing at Kairi one more time. "We'll be going now, Kairi. Take care of yourself."

"Bye, Miss Griselda! Goodbye, Irina and Xenovia! Thank you for looking after me this whole time! I'll never forget what you did for me," Kairi replied happily, waving her arm as her and Sora ended their moment of affection. "We'll see each other again, don't worry! That's a promise!"

Griselda only smiled and gave her a nod, as her and Xenovia held Irina in support while they walked away. Speaking of the blue-haired exorcist, she was looking at Kairi with a small pout on her face. No doubt she was in deep thought about something.

"Was it really a wise choice to leave Kairi with those devils? Being around them will only corrupt her pure nature even further," Xenovia grunted in disappointment. Even though she was displeased with the fact that Kairi had feelings for a devil, she felt uncomfortable leaving that girl with their natural enemies. Maybe she still admired Kairi for her pure heart and, well, it didn't help that Sora, the boy whom she met yesterday, was just too kind to be a devil.

"I don't need to hear this from you. You were accusing Kairi of nonsense earlier, and now you are going to complain about her being in the presence of devils?" Griselda remarked sarcastically.

"I wasn't complaining…" Xenovia turned her head away as her pout became bigger, which only added more to her mentor's smug look.

"Looks like we'll have to say goodbye for now, Sora-kun. I'll give this back to you when we meet again," Irina looked back at Sora with a cheerful smile and gestured to the blazer she was wearing. "Come see me anytime you feel like getting judged. Amen. Chu~" she winked before blowing a kiss towards the young brunette.

Sora blinked in surprise, a pink tint dusting his cheeks before he waved his arm as a response. "Uhm… yeah, sure… s-see ya." He didn't know the reason why Irina would blow him a kiss, it was totally unnecessary. It was surprising enough to catch him off guard and make him blush. "Why would she do that…?" he thought to himself.

Rias and Kairi didn't miss it; the Gremory girl frowned at the possibility that there was another girl who was interested in her pawn, and it was an exorcist, no less. The fact that Sora blushed made her tempted to confront the boy, before deciding against it. There was no need to show she was jealous, she'll just give Sora more of her affection tonight, which was the perfect opportunity to do so with Kairi around…

Kairi's eyes widened a bit upon seeing her friend Irina blow a little kiss towards Sora. Sure, it wasn't even a direct one, but it was a kiss nonetheless. "What was that about, Irina?" she thought to herself, while pouting slightly. Kairi began to feel indifferent at the thought of her own friend developing feelings for Sora, the same boy whom she loved very dearly. That can't happen, Sora was hers and she already made it clear when she kissed her lazy bum in front of all of them earlier!

"W-Wait!" Everyone's attention went towards Yuuto, who shook Asia off of him as he struggled to get back on his feet.

"Wait Yuuto-san, you're not fully healed yet!" Asia cried out in concern and as she said those words, the young knight found himself slumping back to the ground, breathing heavily. Even though he only suffered a non-lethal blow, it was a different story if it came from a holy sword.

Xenovia gave him a look of pity. "You have a very versatile Sacred Gear and if it is used in the right way with your speed, you're a force to be reckoned with. However, with the way you are letting your emotions dictate your actions, you'll die an early death at the hands of our enemies."

Griselda frowned slightly at the bluenette. "That's enough, Xenovia. Let's get going." With a nod from Xenovia, the three walked away and soon, they disappeared from everyone's sights.

With the exorcists gone, Kairi nudged Sora with her shoulder, getting his attention as she flashed him a sweet smile.

"Sooo, why did you want me to stay with you?" Kairi asked, giggling softly upon seeing the small blush that formed on the boy's cheeks. "I'm just surprised that you would ask a question like that out of nowhere. It's kind of cute."

[So this is the girl that you've had your eyes on all this time? I really thought there was something between you and that Gremory girl instead.] Ddraig said with a chuckle.

"Keep quiet! T-There's nothing going on between me and Rias!" the boy quickly denied in his thoughts, while doing his best to fight off his blush. Welp, just hearing about that was enough for Sora to remind himself of the time when the Gremory girl kissed him. Argh, this is so awkward!

[Whatever you say, Partner. Just don't forget that I can see your thoughts whenever I want.] The dragon spoke in a smug tone, while Sora internally glared at him before deciding to just ignore the entity living inside of himself.

"Uh, do you even have to ask that?" Sora replied, scratching the back of his head sheepishly before taking a deep breath. "I already said it, I just didn't want to be away from you again. I'm tired of it, like, can't we just be together— w-what are you doing…?" His eyes widened and the blush on his cheeks intensified when Kairi leaned close towards his face that their noses were nearly touching.

"You're hiding something from me, you lazy bum. I can tell it's not the full reason why you asked if I can stay with you," she smirked when the color on his face disappeared. Kairi's expression shifted into a more gentle one, with the look on her eyes saying that she wanted him to say something in particular. "I want to hear the truth, Sora."

"Uhm… well, it's…" Sora trailed off, realizing that he had no way out of this one. Well, why would he even try to dodge the question? About an hour earlier, he was kissing Kairi in front of the whole Gremory peerage and the exorcists, and he would've confessed his feelings then and there if it weren't for certain circumstances. So, with a deep breath, he stared into Kairi's eyes and mustered up courage to utter his next words. "...it's because I —"

"Yuuto-san, wait!"

The pair was suddenly interrupted from their little moment as they both turned their heads to see Kiba getting up and start walking away as soon as Asia was finished tending to his injuries. Rias was quick to run after him and stopped her servant from going any further by grabbing his arm.

"Where do you think you're going?" Rias asked through narrowed eyes. "As your master, I can't allow you to leave! We are already facing this threat together, Yuuto. There's no need for you to do this alone!"

Kiba immediately shook her arm off, not bothering to look back but stopping in his tracks so he could say something. "I'm sorry, Buchou. But as long as I have these feelings of hatred inside me, I can't let this chance go away. If I can just get my hands on one Excalibur and destroy it, my comrades will finally rest in peace."

"Kiba, you don't have to do this alone!" Sora exclaimed, running over towards the two with a serious look on his face. "You're going to get yourself killed if you keep on doing this! Do you think your friends would want that? We can all work together to settle this, there's no need for you to endanger yourself any further!"

"Thank you all for everything, but now I have to set fulfill what my comrades asked me to do. I will do my best to weaken our enemy for you. That's the least I can do if I don't come back," Kiba spoke, not even thinking much of what Sora just head.

Sora's expression became more serious than ever, up to the point that Rias and a few others flinched a bit. "I'm not letting you go so that you'll end up killing yourself in the end, Kiba! If you want to keep going, then you'll have to go through me!" he exclaimed, summoning his Kingdom Key and pointing it towards his friend. He truly didn't want to fight his own friend, but if that's what it's going to take to save Kiba from his own emotions, he had no choice.

Rias' eyes widened at this. She never expected her pawn to raise his weapon against one of his own comrades but then again, she gave up on trying to figure him out a while ago. "Sora, what are you doing?" she asked with a small frown.

"I had a friend who once lost himself to his own emotions, and we ended up fighting many times… because he got possessed by someone stronger than him…" Sora muttered, remembering the time when Riku got taken over by the darkness. "I won't let it happen again, especially now when my friend can die if he keeps on doing this."

Surprisingly, Kiba remained calm and still kept his back turned on everyone else. "Why do you want to stop me, Sora? Nobody stopped you when you made your decision to save Kairi, even at the cost of your own life," he spoke in a low tone.

Hearing those words made Sora widen his eyes and he slightly lost his grip on the keyblade as a result. Kairi gasped and looked down, some of her guilt eating her out once again after being reminded that Sora risked another usage of the power of waking because of her losing her heart. It's what led to him disappearing from his worldline and transported him here.

After taking a quick moment to absorb his friend's words, Sora shook his head and reverted back to a serious demeanor. "That's different, and you know it! I did that to save Kairi, but what about you? You're doing this for revenge? Because you're so angry, you're willing to throw away your life to get rid of an Excalibur? Is that what your friends would have wanted for you? Why can't you trust in us to help you with this? We're also your friends, right?" he asked, narrowing his eyes with every question.

Much to his own surprise, the furious look on Yuuto's face somewhat softened as he took in everything that Sora said. True, he was doing this to avenge his fallen comrades so that they could finally be in peace, but was it really worth dying for? Did he really need to go through this alone? What's the harm in putting his trust in Rias and the rest of her peerage? If anything, they could help him achieve what he wanted…

Yuuto immediately stopped in his inner monolugue, and shook his head to get rid of those thoughts. "No, I can't let them get involved. This is my problem alone, and I have to face this on my own." He reminded himself, before taking a deep breath so he could answer the spiky-haired keybearer. "Forgive me Sora, but my heart and mind are made up. If it means avenging my comrades, I will gladly throw away my life."

Before Sora could say anything else, Yuuto began to walk away from everyone, not paying any more attention to the cries from the other members of the Gremory peerage for him to come back.

"Kiba… why do you keep on doing this…?" Sora clenched his fists in frustration and was about to stay true to his word about fighting his own friend to keep him here, but someone held his arm to prevent him from doing anything. Looking back, he saw Kairi shaking her head slowly while keeping her gaze darted towards the ground.

Sora immediately got the message, though he couldn't help but think that he failed on stopping his own friend from walking to his own doom.

Rias grimaced in fear as she rested her fist against her chest. Worry began to fill her up entirely, as she couldn't help but be afraid of what could happen to her own knight while this goes on. "Oh, Yuuto… why did things have to turn out like this…?" she whispered sadly, tears welling up in her eyes.

Roxas remained silent throughout all of this as much as he didn't want to, reminding himself of Xion's words that they shouldn't be interfering with the affairs of another peerage. Speaking of his friend, he noticed that Xion was becoming too affected with all of this, which was immediately going against what she told him earlier. If the sad look on her face was any indication, he had to snap her out of it before something else happens.

"Hey," he rested his hand on her shoulder gently and squeezed it. "Are you okay?"

It was enough to snap the dark-haired girl from her little trance, blinking a few times as she turned towards Roxas, who gave her a look of concern.

"Y-Yeah," she breathed out. Xion took a moment to process everything that just happened, before she realized her own mistake. "I'm sorry, I became too affected with Sora's friend leaving all of them behind. I guess I contradicted myself there…" she said, scratching her cheek.

Roxas smiled. "That's fine, I'm sure Sora will find a way to deal with him eventually. More importantly, we need to get back to Sona and inform her about what Rias Gremory told us today."

"Right, she must be wondering what's taking us so long by now," Xion nodded in agreement before her eyes widened in realization. "Wait, maybe Sona-kaichou's gone home by now… when we left the student council, Tomoe-san and Reya-san already went home ahead of us."

"We'll see once we get there, then." The blonde Nobody nodded in return as he turned his head towards the raven-haired vice president of the Occult Research Club, who also looked dismayed from Kiba's sudden departure. "Hey," he called out, which caused the girl to turn towards him. "You're Rias Gremory's Queen, right? Akeno Himejima? If anyone asks where we went off to, tell them we just headed back to the student council. We still have to tell Sona everything that Rias Gremory told us about."

Just as Xion was about to tell her friend to be a lot more respectful, Akeno turned her full attention to them and smiled in amusement. "Fufu, if that is your decision, then I can certainly oblige your request as Rias' Queen," she spoke while flashing her usual smirk. "And for future reference, please refer to me by my name, Roxas-kun. Any friend of Sora-kun is also a friend of mine~"

Xion tilted her head in confusion, while Roxas felt something at the back of his mind that was telling him to be careful around this girl. He didn't know what it was, but he knew better than to look on the bright side of things like what Sora does.

Apparently, both him and Sora can have the same mindset at times, which includes this one.

"Sure, I guess…" he shrugged his shoulders but internally, he was already screaming at himself to get a move on and be away from here. That smile from Akeno was just so creepy and it was starting to freak him out. That's something that came from a being who was originally supposed to have no emotions whatsoever. "Let's go, Xion!" He grabbed the confused girl's arm and led her away, not even looking back so that he won't be able see Akeno's smile.

"Roxas, why are you in such a hurry? We haven't even said goodbye to Sora and Kairi yet," Xion asked, staring at the boy with a blank look while letting him drag her away.

"I wonder how Sora can deal with a girl like that…" Roxas thought to himself, feeling amazed and somehow sympathetic for his other that he's able to perfectly adjust to someone who was giving him the creeps.

He may be dense, but it didn't mean he wasn't observant. Of course, this still beats being an emotionless husk by a mile.

Life as a somebody was good.

In the aftermath of Yuuto's sad departure, Rias had concluded that there was nothing they could do about it and decided to just let the rest of her peerage retire for the day. First, it was the meeting with the exorcists, then a duel between them and two of her servants, and now Yuuto was gone. While there was no telling if he would come back, Rias thought about the state of her other servants for now. Sora was dumbfounded that his master would just let Yuuto get himself into danger, but said nothing in the end since Rias was already stressed enough as it is.

It's not like he could say anything either, because he too gave up on trying to stop his friend from going when Kairi held him back. It didn't help that Kiba was acting the same way he did when he brought back Kairi through the power of waking. For a moment, just a moment, it felt like he was talking to himself.

Akeno went home, but not before telling Rias and the rest that Roxas and Xion have already left exactly after Kiba did. Kairi felt sad that she didn't even get to say goodbye to them and it felt like they got separated once again, but Sora was quick to assure her that she'll be able to see them again since they all go to the same school everyday.

With that, Sora eagerly led Kairi to the apartment where he was currently living in, with the redhead feeling both flustered and happy that she was finally with the boy she loved. Along the way, he told Kairi about the adventures he went through in this world so far; meeting Rias and her peerage, becoming a devil and a student of Kuoh Academy, meeting Asia, the encounter with the fallen angels, and facing off against Riser Phenex. Kairi was both amazed and interested at how Sora was able to adapt to this new world as if it was his new home but who was she kidding? This was a normal thing for the lazy bum by now and oh, how she wished that she could've been with him through all of those things…

Rias, Asia, and Koneko who were following behind the pair, found it amusing and heartwarming how Sora was basically giving Kairi a little tour and being so excited about it. All signs of his serious demeanor earlier were completely gone in favor of focusing on Kairi.

Deciding to tease her servant, Rias 'accidentally' let it slip that Sora began a hobby of writing in his Gummiphone's journal every night, so that he would be able to tell everyone back home about everything he went through in this new world. This caused Sora to begin stuttering in deep embarrassment, which was enough for Kairi to treat is a confirmation. While the poor boy tried explaining himself in a less embarrassing way, Kairi only giggled at the thought of Sora writing in a journal. It was something she never would have expected to happen, but oh well, it's Sora.

Upon reaching the apartment, Sora practically begged Rias to let him help in making dinner, since he wanted to make something nice for his childhood friend as a little celebration for finally reuniting with her. He knew that the Gremory girl will just insist that she'll cook for everyone and that he should just wait for the food to be done, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Imagine his surprise and eventual delight when Rias agreed to let him help out in making the food.

Apparently, she understood his reasons and decided that it was worth letting Sora cook something for once. The only thing about it was that he now owed Rias one favor, according to her. Distracted by his excitement, Sora felt like he couldn't care less and shifted his full attention to making the best dinner Kairi, Asia, and Koneko have ever tasted! Oh, and he'll show Rias just how worthy he was of working in the kitchen! It was a really good thing he listed down the recipes of the dishes at Uncle Scrooge's bistro, because he was planning to make one of his favorites, which was Beef Bourguignon.

He internally vowed to make their taste buds melt no matter what!

While him and Rias were handling things at the kitchen, Kairi quickly clicked with Asia, due to their kind and gentle personalities. She learned how the blonde girl used to be a nun who got banished, which saddened her because she was only trying to help a wounded creature, even though it was a devil. In Kairi's eyes, it was still an act of kindness.

Koneko, on the other hand, was a lot more quiet that the redhead had some trouble creating a normal conversation between them. Somehow, Kairi also noticed that the white-haired girl held something against her, although she had no idea on what it could be. Despite that, they were able to be familiarized with each other enough since they were residents of the same home, although it was temporary in Kairi's case.

When the time came for dinner and everyone sat together at the table, Sora eagerly asked what they all thought of his creation once they took a bite out of the food he prepared

Their reactions were instantaneous.

"Sora, when did you learn how to cook so well?!" That was Kairi, who couldn't help but be curious on when and where did her dearly beloved get such skills. The last time she saw him cook something, he was grilling a fish back in the islands where he burned it badly.

"Well, I learned from a really good chef back in a bistro at Twilight Town. Wasn't easy, but all the hard work paid off." Sora stated proudly, remembering the good times he spent with Little Chef in the kitchen, which may or may not have included him messing up some dishes a few times before finally getting them right. Good times indeed.

"This tastes so good, Sora-san! What do you call this food?" Asia's eyes were sparkling in delight as soon as she took a bite. She turned towards the spiky brunette like a pleading child, eager to know what sort of delicacy just befell upon her taste buds.

"I would like to know as well, Sora." Rias spoke with an amused smirk, showing that she was also enjoying the dish that her pawn made. She decided to let him cook whatever he wanted and surprise her, so she had no idea what this was. Indeed, she was taken aback and was now wondering what Sora called this.

"Oh, it's Beef Bourguignon. It's an everyday favorite back in the bistro where I helped in. It's the first thing came to my mind when I was thinking of what to cook." He sent a smug grin towards the Gremory girl, wanting to know her opinion towards the dish he prepared. "So what can you say, Rias? Did I do good?"

"I must admit," Rias drank a bit of water before continuing, a smirk adorning her beautiful face. "You showed an exceptional amount of effort in making dinner for us. I suppose all the things you've said about being capable of working in the kitchen have some significance, after all. I acknowledge that I made a mistake in keeping you away from making meals for us when you can clearly come up with something like this."

Sora decided to go straight to the point since Rias was doing her usual habit of playing with her words to hide her intentions. "So did I do good?" he asked.

"Yes you did," Rias giggled.

"Does this mean I can help in making meals from now on?" Sora asked with a hopeful tone. As the only guy inside this household, it was a blow to his pride that he couldn't even help out in simple chores. Even when he was just going to sweep the floor, either one of the girls would insist that they take over for him and he didn't know why!

Rias tapped for her chin for a moment, before sending the boy a sweet smile, meaning that she was planning something so she could tease him. "I'll think about it," she said, eagerly waiting for what kind of reaction Sora will give her.

The boy's shoulders immediately slumped in defeat, feeling that he lost all signs of hope. "Oh. I… guess that's okay…" he mumbled, an imaginary rain cloud appearing on top of his head that showed his despair.

Rias and Kairi both shared a quick chuckle at his response, while Koneko flashed a tiny smile of her own. As innocent and naive as she is, only Asia showed some kind of concern for him.

"Sora-san, i-it's okay. I really liked what you made for us tonight, and… I really wouldn't mind if you cook another one! Y-You're really good at this!" she exclaimed in an attempt to make the boy feel better. Asia didn't like seeing the young keybearer said, because he was the one who turned her life around.

That snapped the boy out of his little depression as a smile appeared on his face again. "T-Thanks… I really appreciate it, Asia." He said sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "In fact, I'm glad you all like it! It just sucks that this might be the only time I'll be able to cook…"

"Now hold it there, Sora…" Rias gave him a knowing glance before smirking. "I didn't say you're not allowed to cook anymore, I just said that I will think about it. Who knows? I might let you take over the kitchen for another special occassion in the future…"

Sora's eyes widened immediately before a wide grin broke out on his face, returning back to normal. "Deal! That's good enough for me!" Personally, he would've preferred it if Rias would just let him help cook their meals so he wouldn't be as much of a lazy bum as he normally is, but it's better than nothing, right?

"Seconds, please." Koneko voiced out, reaching out with her plate that was already clean of her food.

"Sure thing, Koneko-chan!" Sora took her plate and poured in more of his Beef Bourguignon before giving it back to the girl, who quickly accepted it with a small bow and went back to eating. "I ended up making a lot of this so if there are any leftovers, we can just eat it tomorrow morning."

"Even though he's a devil, his heart hasn't changed at all." Kairi smiled and looked at her dearly beloved with a dreamy look, before turning her attention back to her food. "Oh, Sora…" she whispered to herself. "Don't ever change."

"Indeed," Rias muttered, being able to hear what her fellow redhead just said, although Kairi wasn't able to notice it. That was until the Gremory girl spoke once again, this time in a voice that could be heard by everyone else. "Oh Kairi, before I forget, your room is upstairs with everyone else. It's the second one to the right."

Kairi blinked for a few moments, before she regained her composure and bowed her head in gratitude. "Oh… t-thank you, Miss Gremory. You didn't really have to do all of this for me, but you still did. I don't know how I can thank you for…"

"It's quite alright," Rias waved the apology off with a kind smile. "After all, what kind of master would I be if I deny the wish of one of my strongest servants? Sora has every right to be selfish after everything he has done for me and my peerage. Letting you stay over is the least I can do for him. Oh, and please, just refer to me as Rias. Any friend of Sora is a friend of mine, and that includes you."

Kairi stared at the Gremory heiress for a moment, before she chuckled. It was clear to her that while Rias was the leader of the devils here, she didn't let the power and authority get to her head.

"Well… alright then, Rias."

"Wait a second…" Sora's voice caught the attention of everyone else as he seemed like he was in deep thought. Why wouldn't he? As far as he knew, the bedroom that Rias was talking about already belonged to someone else but if Kairi was going to use it, then what about the person who's always sleeping there? Were they going to share the bed? Something about this seemed strange to him. "Aren't you already sleeping—"

Sora was immediately cut off with Rias covering his mouth with one hand, making him widen his eyes as the redhead sent him an amused smile.

"Let me enlighten you a bit, Sora." she winked playfully, before leaning close to whisper something to the boy, with no one else being able to hear them. By the time that Rias was finished and sat back on her chair, Sora's face flushed and turned scarlet, with his mouth hanging agape out of shock. Or embarrassment. Probably both at the same time.

"T-T-There's n-no need for you t-t-to do that, Rias…!" he stuttered, causing Koneko, Asia, and Kairi to look at him curiously. Meanwhile, Rias just smirked at his reaction, obviously expecting him to be like this once she told him of her little 'plan'. "I-I-I can just s-sleep down here instead! W-We don't have to—!"

"Sora."

Rias' eyes immediately narrowed, and one word spoken by her with a serious tone was enough for the boy to shut his mouth, since he didn't want to make her mad. Please, anything but that…

"I will not have any of my servants sleep anywhere but their bedrooms, got it? Kairi is a guest, and I will not let her sleep down here," she stated, before her expression lightened and caused her smirk to return. "Besides, this particular scenario has already numerous times before, or have you forgotten? On the contrary, I thought you would be used to it by now."

"You don't need to remind me…" Sora thought to himself, sighing in exasperation while doing his best to suppress the raging blush that was making its way to her cheeks. Shaking his head furiously, he closed his eyes and decided to just give in. He didn't really want this to happen, but it was better than Kairi spending the night uncomfortably on the couch. Oh, and yeah, why should he be surprised? He could've seen this coming sooner or later yet again, but maybe it's just because he had been too focused on Kairi considering today's events.

Too bad he was too dense to notice that Kairi can share a room with Asia or Koneko instead…

"Alright, alright, fine…!" The moment he opened his eyes, he turned his gaze to the side and tried his best to hide the blush that threatened to cover his face. But that was becoming difficult, considering what he just agreed to. "We can… s-s-sleep together…" he mumbled softly to the point that no one could hear him. Unfortunately, it only resulted in his blush winning over his features and somehow, he was slowly losing his appetite because of it.

"What were you two talking about?" Kairi asked while frowning slightly out of confusion.

Kairi's question alarmed the boy, causing him to quickly turn his attention to his childhood friend. "N-N-N-Nothing, Kairi! I-It's nothing, trust me…!" said Sora, doing his best to grin innocently like he always does, but his arms flailing wildly before him were just a dead giveaway. He was just lucky that Kairi only tilted her head, becoming even more confused but didn't say anything else.

"Hmm…" she hummed to herself with a small pout, feeling that Sora wasn't telling her something, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what it could be.

Meanwhile, Rias only sent a smirk at the two keyblade wielders before hiding her giggles by drinking some water.

Tonight, she would show Kairi that she's not the only one who wanted to take her place inside Sora's heart.

What's the worst that could happen?

Kairi was lying on her side on the bed, wearing a pair of pink pajamas and a red shirt that Rias lent to her for the time being. It should be noted that her top was too big for her, to the point that it almost reached her thighs. Thankfully, her pajamas were the perfect size. She didn't want the unfortunate accident of slipping in her step when she wakes up in the morning and make an attempt to get out of bed. It was 9:53 in the evening, yet the girl didn't feel sleepy at all despite the events that transpired today. Her eyes didn't seem like they were looking at something, but her mind was wide awake. This could be seen from the way she was hugging a pillow close to her chest and her steady but slow breathing.

After eating dinner, all of them each took turns in taking a quick shower so they can have a refreshing night of sleep. Since there were two bathrooms in this apartment, it didn't take long for all five of them to head to their own rooms. After brushing his teeth, Kairi saw Sora bidding her a good night's sleep before retiring to his room, which was the first door to the left of the second floor.

However, Sora made sure to give her a quick kiss on her forehead before leaving with a deep red face. No doubt he was too embarrassed to say anything after that.

That action left her frozen for a few moments as a slight blush appeared on her cheeks, before she snapped out of it and slowly took in what Sora just did. A smile slowly formed on her features, feeling overjoyed with his sweet gesture that she remained looking radiant until she finally went to her own bedroom after everything.

"Sora," Kairi thought with a small blush on her face. She never expected that she would be able to see him during the very same meeting that they had with the devils, and the revelation of him being a devil clearly wasn't in her expectations either. From the look on his face when he saw her, Sora also felt the same way. The shock that took over her whole body for that moment, caused Kairi to forget about everything else around her and simply acted on her feelings alone. It's what led to them sharing a loving kiss in front of many people, which was so embarrassing when they finally regained their composure.

It's not like she could help it; they had went through so much in so little time, that it felt like nothing else mattered. Two whole years of fighting against the forces of darkness, getting separated time and time again, Sora being banished from their universe, her working together with her friends to reach him, then ending up in Heaven where Gabriel made her aware of her own feelings. Kairi loved that lazy bum, and she had to tell her Sora what she felt before something bad happens again.

"My Sora… I… like the sound of it…" she mused to herself with a smile, hugging the pillow closer to her and curling up in a fetal position. For a moment, she imagined that the pillow she was embracing was Sora himself and he was relaxing perfectly in her arms. Kairi smiled in contentment, cradling her pillow lovingly as her nipples began to harden underneath her bra. The girl let out a soft moan due to the friction caused by the movement of the smooth material against her shirt, sending a quick jolt throughout her body.

It didn't hurt or anything. It was the opposite, in fact. And much to her own inner disbelief, Kairi slowly found herself liking that particular feeling.

Unaware of her own actions, Kairi slid a hand down her pajamas and slipped it inside of her panties, travelling further south until she felt something wet. She gave another moan when she pressed down her fingers on her own entrance, and forced her to shut her eyes tightly because it felt too much for her in one go. Taking a few deep breaths to calm herself, she pressed her fingers down on her labia and rubbed them against it slowly, causing Kairi to gasp and bite down on her pillow as a result.

"Sora…" A mental image of a grinning Sora crossed her mind before she inserted a finger inside of her. Kairi let out a louder moan this time, before she buried her mouth against the pillow to silence herself. "Sora, what are you doing to me…?" she wondered vividly as her finger slowly moved in and out, adopting a slow rhythm while Kairi was unknowingly pleasuring herself at the very thought of Sora.

The way how he smiles around her, how he is so protective of her well-being, how he would trade his own life for her sake… nearly everything he does involved her in some way. It made Kairi feel special above anybody else, that the boy she loved treated her in a way that he would only do such things for her.

Losing herself to her instincts, her other hand went up to her chest and grabbed her free breast, fondling the mound of flesh softly which caused her breathing to pick up. Kairi even inserted another finger and drove her two digits inside her a lot faster than before, making the girl moan continuously yet quietly, careful not to make any noise that can be heard by anyone else. It would have continued that way if it weren't for another voice that would interrupt her little moment…

"Are you kidding me?! You're already sleeping here, aren't you? P-Please don't do this…!"

Kairi's eyes sprang open as her senses returned to her. The first thing she felt was something wet that her fingers were touching. She looked down at herself and saw that she was touching her own breast with one hand, while the other was inside of her pajamas.

The poor girl's face turned as red as her hair, immediately sitting up and removing her hand from her pajamas. Steam began to blow from her ears when she realized the reason why her fingers were wet, and it didn't help that her panties also felt damp right now.

"Noooooo! I can't believe I just did that! W-W-What am I thinking…?!" Kairi cried internally and in a fit of panic, she quickly reached for the nearest towel and wiped her fingers clean before using some alcohol to remove any traces of her juices from her hand. Through it all, her face was red as she pondered why she did those… 'things' to herself. It greatly confused her since she never felt this way before, and why now?

She took deep breaths to try and regain her composure, in which she was having difficulty in doing. "W-Why am I like this? Is it because we kissed—" she asked herself, only to get cut off by the same voice that snapped her back into reality earlier.

"Oh, come on! If you're gonna do this, I'm just going to sleep downstairs then! You can have my room for the night! I'm not going to sleep with you while you're like this!"

Kairi's gaze went towards the door, recognizing the voice even from afar. "That sounded like… Sora," she concluded before a small frown took over her features. Did she hear what she thought she just heard? She made her way to the door and poked her out of the room, where her eyes widened upon seeing Sora's bedroom still illuminated while the door was open.

"W-What's going on? I thought he'd be asleep by now?" she thought to herself, before hearing a loud thud that was immediately followed by Sora yelping in fear. "Sora?!" This made Kairi's eyes widen once again, and caused her to quickly run over towards her beloved's room out of worry.

"Sora, what's going on?!" Kairi exclaimed, unknowingly setting her eyes on the most shocking thing she had seen all day, to the point that her jaw could drop to the floor with a clang at any moment.

Sora was lying on his bed with his legs dangling by the edge, while a very naked Rias Gremory was above him, her hands on either side of his head while her breasts were dangerously close to his face. The crimson-haired beauty had a sultry look on her face as she lowered her chest even more, causing a red-faced Sora to panic, but there was no way for him to escape.

It only got worse when he suddenly heard a voice from the door that sounded dangerously similar to…

"K-K-K-KAIRI!" he yelled out in alarm with his eyes looking like they were about to bulge out from their sockets. He looked at his childhood friend for a few moments, before turning to Rias, then Kairi, then back to his master, and then finally settling on the stunned girl standing by the door. "I-I-I-IT'S N-NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE! L-L-LET ME EXPLAIN!" he cried out, not wanting a misunderstanding between him and Kairi to take place right here.

After a few more moments of staring at the scene before her, Kairi shook her head and stomped her foot repeatedly, a tick mark appearing on her head. "What is going on here?! Sora, are you doing something with Rias?!" she cried, a deep blush appearing on her cheeks.

"I-I-I-I wasn't…! P-P-Please believe me, Kairi! It's not what you think!" he pleaded, shaking his head in denial while anime tears streamed down his cheeks. Kairi frowned at him, feeling doubtful of his words and she had no clue if he was really innocent.

That was the time when Rias finally turned her head to face Kairi, an amused smirk adorning her lips. "Oh Kairi, what brings you here at this time of night?" she asked, even though she already knew the reason why her fellow redhead was here.

"Rias, what are you doing to Sora?!" Kairi screamed through shark teeth, forgetting about her composure in favor of finding out what was going on in here. She felt both confused and angry, but she retained enough of her rational sense to figure out what was happening first.

"Oh, I'm just having fun with my servant before we finally hit the hay," Rias answered in a sultry manner, pinching her pawn's cheek a bit which caused him emit steam from his ears. "Why are you still awake? Aren't you supposed to be asleep by now?"

"How can I sleep when I heard Sora—?!" Kairi cut herself from her own words as realization hit her. She pointed her finger towards Rias accusingly, who only chuckled to herself. "Wait a minute, I was using your room this whole time, wasn't I? That's what you told Sora during dinner!"

"Well yes, you were indeed sleeping in my room. I decided to let you use it for the time being, while I can sleep with my beloved pawn as much as I want," Rias said as she planted a kiss on Sora's cheek, nearly making the spiky-haired teen pass out because of embarrassment. The Gremory girl then motioned for Kairi to leave. "Now, if you don't mind, please head back to my bedroom and get some sleep. I just want to get some rest with my cute servant beside me."

"No! I'm taking Sora from you! You're embarrassing him too much!" Kairi scowled, stomping her foot on the floor before pointing towards the poor boy, whose mind was going haywire. "Just look, he's going to faint at any moment because you keep on playing with him like he's a toy!"

"I'm afraid I can't allow that," Rias frowned as she hugged Sora's head against her chest, making his eyes widen as he suddenly lost the ability to breathe, causing him to wave his arms over and over in panic. "I'm his master, and I'm going to sleep beside my hug pillow no matter what. Besides, this little thing between me and Sora has already happened before."

Kairi's eyes were as wide as dinner plates, while her jaw had all but dropped to the ground out of shock. Sora slept with Rias many times already? How come she didn't know about this?! Well, how could he even tell her something like that? Kairi couldn't believe what she was hearing. After being left frozen in disbelief for a few seconds, she shook her head repeatedly and clenched her fists in anger.

She had no clear idea what's happening right now, but she'll be damned if she's going to let Sora sleep with another girl for the whole night!

"F-Fine! I'm going to sleep here, then! I'm not letting you have your way with him, whether you're Sora's master or not!" Kairi declared, walking towards the bed with a deep frown, which could be hardly taken seriously with the blush on her face. "D-Did I really just say that?" she thought to herself, realizing the meaning behind her words.

Rias let go of Sora's head, causing him to drop back to the bed, breathing heavily. "K-Kairi…?" he asked, internally grimacing in fear of what could happen. He heard her clearly, and silently hoped that it wasn't true! "Oh, Satan! Please tell me this isn't happening!" he thought.

"Well, this is interesting… I never thought you'd have the guts to sleep with Sora considering your little moment of intimacy with him earlier in the clubroom," Rias said coyly, tapping her chin with her finger. "But I guess I was wrong, and you want my servant to yourself from now on."

Kairi froze in her tracks, the color disappearing from her face. "T-T-That's—" she sputtered, but unable to find a proper response. So that's what this is about. Rias was trying to trick her into doing this all along! However, instead of denying it outright (which would've made it all the more obvious), the young redhead opted to change the topic. That was when she realized just how awkward this was becoming, especially for a girl like her. "Ugh, why are you even naked?! Put some clothes on already! Don't you know Sora is here and can see your… your… urgh, you know what I'm talking about!" she cried, turning her head away as well out of embarrassment.

"Oh, don't worry. I sleep naked, and I'm perfectly fine with Sora seeing me like this." Rias yawned as she rearranged her pawn's position to fit the bed, while leaving some room for her. Sora couldn't even respond properly as he was about to collapse at any moment, so he just let Rias do as she wished.

"What kind of person sleeps naked?! It's not just Sora, I'm here too! Have some decency!" Kairi bellowed in comical anger with her head becoming large, her eyes turning pure white and her teeth looking akin to that of a shark's.

Sora could've sworn he just wet his pajamas right there. It's as if he was staring into the very face of death. "Never make Kairi mad, never make Kairi mad, never make Kairi mad, never make Kairi mad…" he repeated to himself in his mind, his whole body shivering in fear. He wanted nothing more than to curl up into a ball and hug himself right now.

Rias just laughed at her. "Well, you can always sleep in my room. It doesn't matter anyway, because Sora will have a wonderful sleep with me by his side." The older redhead winked playfully, before she grabbed Sora's hand and placed it on her breast.

That was the last straw for Kairi, who looked like she finally blew a fuse. How dare she try to seduce Sora in front of her?!

Devils truly are creatures of lust, huh?

"F-Fine! Then I'm getting naked too! I won't let you take Sora away!" Throwing away her shame and embarrassment, Kairi lifted her oversized shirt above her head and threw it to the floor, leaving her in her white lace bra.

"Kairi…?" Sora mumbled out, feeling his mind about to shut down just from seeing Kairi, his very own childhood friend and secret love interest, in a bra.

A bra.

Sora. exe has stopped working. Rebooting…

The girl quickly removed her pajamas next, revealing her white panties and thankfully, neither Rias nor Sora could see the damp part of it. Well, mostly Rias because Sora had a stream of blood dripping down his nose that made it impossible for him to pay attention to anything else.

Reboot unsuccessful. Warning! Experiencing bloody nose… trying to fix the problem…

"Well, well, it's just as I thought. There really is more to this girl than just being a kind and gentle soul…" Rias thought to herself in amusement, crossing her arms under her huge bust. "I could just imagine the reactions from her exorcist friends…"

MyFriendsAreMyPower is being used to fix the problem… standby…

With a single click, Kairi undid her bra and slid it off her shoulders, revealing her round and modest breasts, topped with bright pink nipples. They were the last things that Sora saw before his vision became blurry and his body swayed from side to side.

Program failed… shutdown imminent.

Just as Kairi slid down her panties to reveal her clean entrance, Sora finally fell back on the bed with blood all over his nose and his face emitting steam, finally passing out. By the time Kairi was in her full naked glory, tossing her panties away in a hurry, she saw the lazy bum already in an unconscious state and looking unresponsive.

"Sora!" she cried out in worry, but Rias raised her hand to stop her.

"Don't worry, he just fainted. Apparently, the sight of you stripping in front of him was too much to handle." Rias laughed, causing Kairi to scowl at her.

She blamed the Gremory girl for this. Who else was teasing Sora while being in her birthday suit and basically taunted her into getting naked as well?

"Well, it appears that there's no more reason for me to have fun with Sora out of it, so it's better if we just sleep." Rias shrugged her shoulders carelessly, before she turned towards her fellow redhead who was pouting at her. "Would you mind turning off the light so we can finally get some sleep, Kairi?"

Kairi scowled at her for a few more seconds before huffing; she quickly turned off the light and joined the pair in the bed, lying on Sora's left side while Rias was on the right. Because it was dark, nobody could see the blush on her face from being so close to Sora, especially while she was naked. Somehow, she was thankful that her dearly beloved was already out of commission.

"Good night, Kairi." Rias said in amusement, while she suppressed the urge to giggle. Those were her last words before finally closing her eyes so that she could get some shut-eye. It was a really exhausting day for her, and Rias was internally glad that Sora somehow found a way to cheer her up after Yuuto left them. Kairi as well, because the Gremory girl was enjoying this little competition that started between them.

She couldn't wait for tomorrow.

"Whatever," Kairi huffed, before she noticed Sora's hand lying just beside her. She pursed her lips together, having a moment of internal conflict before she shook her head and grabbed his hand.

"I'll show her." The scowl on her face softened as she placed it on her bare breast and hugged it close, which caused her expression to fully morph into one that showed contentment. Within minutes, Kairi was finally asleep.

And there we go. Rias accepts Kairi staying with them for a particular reason, and now she's going to be with the devils for a while. Will it stay that way or not? We'll see. Next, we have Kiba leaving once again, and damn, that was emotional. On the brighter side of things, some steamy stuff happened in this chapter, hahahaha. Welp, Sora has now seen Kairi naked… well, not really because he passed out when he saw her breasts. Wonder what happens next? I hope you enjoyed them because I surely did, lmao.

Next chapter should be interesting, because we'll be switching to Roxas and Xion for a bit, and check up on Aqua's condition. This arc is approaching its climax fast, and it's gonna be a big one.

Goodbye… and good night! BANG! *too sweet gesture*
