After a long time I am doing a Devil May Cry story, even though it's a crossover. In this, my OC Drake Maverick/The Shadow, who is regularly a Demi-Demon is instead the son of Dante and Artemis. I know a Dante/Artemis pairing seems kinda unlikely but there's not much of it so I decided to do it. So his name will be Drake Redgrave.

This story is divided into books in the events of the The first five Percy Jackson books, but the Lightning Thief takes place just as Devil May Cry 4 begins so don't expect many appearances of Dante but the time of DMC 4 was like only a few days before the end of the game, so I don't think Dante will take long with dealing with the Fortuna incident...and also meeting Nero.

The pairings of the series are Drake x Silena Beauregard, Dante x Artemis, and Percy x Annabeth.

Now Drake's weapons are still the same, except Judgement which looks like Rebellion except the skulls are a demon and wolf's, the wolf being a reference to Artemis even though Drake doesn't know about her yet. I know it's basically Rebellion, but it's my favourite sword design so fuck it.

Now let's begin shall we?

Drake Redgrave is a 14 year old boy, though he was no normal human being. He was a demon Hunter and was part demon himself on his father's side. Demon hunting had been...part of the family business for years as his father had started it many years ago. His father was the demon hunter Dante, son of the demon Sparda. Dante was part human and part demon as Sparda had married a human woman sometime after he sealed the Demon World with the sword Yamato, the very sword that belongs to Drake's uncle Vergil.

Of course if you knew Dante, then him having a kid would be a big shocker since he may not seem the type to have a kid but that's a even longer story that Drake doesn't he knows about his mother is that she loves him, wouldn't put him down after he was born, and called him her little pup. Though her job and family caused her to be away for most of Drake's life.

Drake knew something was wrong but he was certain his father will tell him eventually.

Of course, aside from his demon hunting job, Drake had to go to school or else people will get suspicious. That was why Drake goes to Yancy Academy in New York City. Dante trusted him to watch and take care of himself when away from Red Grave City, Dante did train him after all. Drake thought he would have been a loner during his time there but he met two good friends, Percy Jackson and Grover Underwood. they became his best friends, well they were his only male friends as before them he had Patty as a friend.

Currently, Drake was with Percy and Grover as their class took a field trip to Manhattan— twenty-eight mental-case kids and two teachers on a yellow school bus, heading to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to look at ancient Greek and Roman stuff. Drake has always been interested in Greek Mythology.

He didn't know why, but Artemis was his favourite Goddess.

Drake's appearance was he had the white hair his father and uncle had, though his hair was in a faux-hawk like style, oddly enough his eyes were a striking silver instead of the icy blue Dante and Vergil have. He had the same skin as Dante, and wore a faded black, 3/4-length, hooded leather jacket with red interior linings and the British Union flag sewn on the left arm, a gray tank top, black fingerless gloves, black faded jeans, and black military boots. (AN: His attire is DmC: Devil May Cry's Dante attire.)

Their teacher, Mr. Brunner, was leading the class. Mr. Brunner was this middle-aged guy in a motorized wheelchair. He had thinning hair and a scruffy beard and a frayed tweed jacket, which always smelled like coffee.

Drake sighed when he saw Nancy Bobofit, the freckly, redheaded kleptomaniac girl, hitting Grover in the back of the head with chunks of peanut butter-and-ketchup sandwich.

Grover was an easy target. He was scrawny. He cried when he got frustrated. He must've been held back several grades, because he was the only sixth grader with acne and the start of a wispy beard on his chin. On top of all that, he was crippled. He had a note excusing him from PE for the rest of his life because he had some kind of muscular disease in his legs.

"I'm going to kill her," Percy mumbled.

"Same here." Drake growled with a glare aimed at Nancy Bobofit.

Grover tried to calm them both down. "It's okay. I like peanut butter."

He dodged another piece of Nancy's lunch.

"That's it." Percy started to get up, but Grover pulled him back down into his seat.

"You're already on probation," he reminded him. "You know who'll get blamed if anything happens."

Finally, Nancy Bobofit snickered something about the naked guy on the stele, and Percy turned around and said, "Will you shut up?"

It came out louder than he meant it to as the whole group laughed. Mr. Brunner stopped his story. "Mr. Jackson," he said, "did you have a comment?"

Percy blushed in embarrassment. "No, sir." he said.

Mr. Brunner pointed to one of the pictures on the stele. "Perhaps you'll tell us what this picture represents?"

Drake looked at the picture, as did Percy, and they saw that it was the Titan Kronos swallowing his children, the original six Olympians. "That's Kronos eating his kids, right?" Percy said

"Yes," Mr. Brunner said, obviously not satisfied. "And he did this because ..."

"Well..." Drake saw that Percy was racking his brain to remember. "Kronos was the king god, and—"

"God?" Mr. Brunner asked.

"Titan," Percy corrected himself. "And ... he didn't trust his kids, who were the gods. So, um, Kronos ate them, right? But his wife hid baby Zeus, and gave Kronos a rock to eat instead. And later, when Zeus grew up, he tricked his dad, Kronos, into barfing up his brothers and sisters—"

"Eeew!" said one of the girls behind Drake.

"—and so there was this big fight between the gods and the Titans," Percy continued, "and the gods won."

Drake then heard Nancy Bobofit mumble to a friend, "Like we're going to use this in real life. Like it's going to say on our job applications, 'Please explain why Kronos ate his kids.'"

"And why, Mr. Jackson," Brunner said, "to paraphrase Miss Bobofit's excellent question, does this matter in real life?"

"Busted," Grover muttered.

"Shut up," Nancy hissed, her face even brighter red than her hair.

At least Nancy got packed, too. Mr. Brunner was the only one who ever caught her saying anything wrong. He had radar ears.

Percy thought about his question, and shrugged. "I don't know, sir."

"I see." Mr. Brunner looked disappointed. "Well, half credit, Mr. Jackson. Zeus did indeed feed Kronos a mixture of mustard and wine, which made him disgorge his other five children, who, of course, being immortal gods, had been living and growing up completely undigested in the Titan's stomach. The gods defeated their father, sliced him to pieces with his own scythe, and scattered his remains in Tartarus, the darkest part of the Underworld. On that happy note, it's time for lunch. Mrs. Dodds, would you lead us back outside?"

Said teacher nodded and led the group towards the exist, except Drake saw a small split in the hallways and got curious about it so he walked towards it and went into the room to see a statue of a woman wearing a dress that stopped at her knees and was barefoot, a wolf at her side, and a bow in her hands.

Drake stared at the statue, feeling oddly drawn to it.

"Artemis." Drake turned to see Mr. Brunner wheeling himself in. "The Goddess of the Moon, Hunt, Chastity and Childbirth. And, according to some, the biggest man hater in the world."

"I heard that in some legends that was caused by her first and only lover, Orion." Drake said as he turned his gaze back to the statue.

"There's many stories on that. Some say Artemis truly loved Orion, other say he raped her Hunters, another says her brother, Apollo tricked Artemis into shooting Orion with an arrow. Because of it she took an oath to never have sex or be in a relationship. The only one who can tell the truth is Artemis herself." Mr. Brunner explained.

Drake gave him a weird look. "You say that like she's real."

Instead of replying, Mr. Brunner instead turned his wheelchair around. "Come, it's lunch."

Drake followed him, but cast one last look at the statue of Artemis, feeling that...connection again before he left the room to go meet with Percy and Grover for lunch.

The class gathered on the front steps of the museum, where they could watch the foot traffic along Fifth Avenue.

Overhead, a huge storm was brewing, black clouds signalling that rain may be coming. The weather has been weird since Christmas in Drake's opinion, there's been massive snow storms, flooding, wildfires from lightning strikes. On TV, during a weather forecast, Drake saw a guy with a sign that said 'End of the World' on it.

The world has nearly ended before but Dante stopped it when he killed the demon king Mundus.

Drake sat at the edge of a fountain where he was eating his lunch with Percy and Grover.

"Detention?" Grover asked Percy

"Nah," He said. "Not from Brunner. I just wish he'd lay off me sometimes. I mean—I'm not a genius."

"You got that right." Drake chuckled, getting a punch on the arm from Percy.

Grover didn't say anything for a while. Then... "Can I have your apple?"

Drake snorted out a laugh as Percy gave him it. He turned his attention over to where a group of boys were throwing parts of their lunch at pigeons, actually belting them. The demon hunter shook his head. "Boys are stupid..." He blinked in surprise. "Where the hell did that come from?"

Drake's attention went to his friends when Nancy Bobofit appeared in front of Percy with her ugly friends and dumped her half-eaten lunch in Grover's lap.

"Oops." She said, grinning with her crooked teeth. Her freckles were orange, as if somebody had spray-painted her face with liquid Cheetos.

Percy was angry and looked ready to snap as he got to his feet but Drake pulled him back down. "Don't, it's not worth it."

Percy still looked angry. Drake turned his attention back to his lunch and was about to eat more when he heard a scream, a splash, then a "Percy pushed me!" from Nancy Bobofit. Drake looked to see Nancy in the water of the fountain, and Percy looking confused.

Mrs. Dodds walked over and Drake heard the other kids whispering. "Did you see—"

"—the water—"

"—like it grabbed her—"

As soon as Mrs. Dodds was sure poor little Nancy was okay, promising to get her a new shirt at the museum gift shop, etc., etc., Mrs. Dodds turned to Percy. There was a triumphant fire in her eyes that made drake narrow his eyes, his demon hunting instincts telling him that there was something...different about Mrs. Dodds.

"Now, honey—"

"I know," Percy grumbled. "A month erasing workbooks."

That wasn't the right thing to say in Percy's opinion.

"Come with me," Mrs. Dodds said.

"Wait!" Grover yelped. "It was me. I pushed her."

Percy looked at him with a stunned look while Drake was confused as to why Grover would want to take the punishment. Mrs. Dodds, however, glared at him so hard his whiskery chin trembled.

"I don't think so, Mr. Underwood," she said.

"But—"

"You—will—stay—here. You as well, Mr. Redgrave."

Drake watched the teacher lead Percy away into the building and narrowed his eyes. "I need the bathroom." he said to Grover before running off into the building before Grover could say anything.

With Drake

"Where the hell are the bathrooms around here?" Drake groaned to himself as he was looking around for the bathrooms when he heard a scream come from one of the rooms on his left. "That's Percy. I'd know that girly scream of his anywhere!" drake ran in the direction of the scream. "Percy, where are you?!"

"Drake run!" Pecy appeared around a corner, looking like the Devil was running after him.

"Percy, what the-"

"Where is it?!" A screechy, rough yet female voice yelled and some bat creature appeared, chasing after Percy.

Drake's instincts kicked in and he leaped up to kick it in the face, sending it crashing down the hallway. Drake landed on his feet and grabbed Percy before running into one of the rooms of the Greco-Roman exhibit.

"What the hell is that?!" Drake said, turning to Percy

"I don't know, Mrs. Dodds just turned into it!" Percy said.

'I knew there was something wrong with her, but she doesn't seem like a demon.' Drake thought to himself just as Mrs. Dodds broke through another entrance and glared at them.

"Where is it?!" She hissed.

"Percy, what's about to happen next...don't tell anyone." Drake said and before Percy could say anything, Drake reached for the back of his waist underneath his coat and pulled out two guns. These were Dawn and Dusk, Drake;s two handguns like Dante's Ebony and Ivory guns. Dawn was the black pistol, and Dusk is the white pistol. The pistols resemble Desert Eagles, with stylized grips twisting into sharp points, and they could never be reloaded for some reason. Drake's guns were like his father's when it comes to the gunpower and strength of them.

Drake gave a smirk, the same smirk his father has. "Let's rock!"

With that he fired at the creature, causing her to screech as one of the rapid firing bullets struck her wings and she had to get behind cover before she launched herself at them only to meet a boot to the face, courtesy of Drake.

Percy watched with wide eyes at seeing his friend wield guns, and like a pro. Then things got even stranger. Mr. Brunner, who'd been out in front of the museum a minute before, wheeled his chair into the doorway of the gallery, holding a pen in his hand.

"What ho, Percy!" he shouted, and tossed the pen through the air which Percy caught and it changed into a sword and percy saw Mrs. Dodds, who had backhanded Drake aside when he went for a dropkick, lunge at Percy

Percy swung the sword. The metal blade hit her shoulder and passed clean through her body as if she were made of water. Drake looked up to see Mrs. Dodds explode into yellow powder, vaporized on the spot, leaving nothing but the smell of sulfur and a dying screech and a chill of evil in the air.

Drake stood up and holstered his guns before walking over to Percy who was trembling after what just happened.

"Perce-"

"Drake, what the hell was that?" Percy asked, gesturing to where he placed the guns.

Drake sighed, this was going to be a long story...

That's the first chapter folks. I hope you all enjoyed it and don't worry, Dante will make a few appearances along with a Jackpot.

By the way, Silena looks like the story picture.
