Summary:Lucy is TERRIFIED of spiders. What will happen if one gets in her tub while she is in the bath?

Lucy POV:

Ah! That was a strange job. I think back over what happened on the job. We were after these "tough" criminals, it was for S-class but we had no trouble! Anyways, after all the stress for NOTHING I decided to get a relaxing bath! I started getting my night clothes since it's too late to go to the guild. I can already imagine how relaxing it will be! Especially with those new scented bubbles!

I catch myself daydreaming and start hurrying even faster. I get a tank top, and some shorts, both a pastel pink as my pajamas. I head into the bathroom and start the water. As I reached for the bottle of bubbles I swore I saw something but as I turned back around to check I saw nothing. Man, I am so paranoid easily! I thought to myself.

I smile to myself as I smell the bubbles. It was lavender and strawberries, you might think it smells gross but it actually smells good! I start to undress and get into the water. Mmm! At that I start to lean back and smile while I relax. But I KNOW I saw something! I swear I saw something! A little black speck or something! As I look around I see nothing.

My relaxing bath isn't so relaxing now. I'm so paranoid I swear I can feel something on my neck. I sink back into the water keeping my eyes ready to catch anything mysterious. As I sink farther I feel my 'paranoia' from my back going down. That isn't right… I think. I turn my head and see my worst fear. "AHHHHHH!" I shout as I see the most terrifying creature on me. Next thing I know I have jumped up and started stomping while crying silent tears remembering my past with them as my bathroom door is shot open.

"Luce! Are you okay-" natsu yells and stops mid sentence. By then I don't care that I have nothing. I just want it gone. I want it off of me. The memories are coming back. I want it away. All that spider brings is terror. "Natsu! Get it off me! Please!" by then I'm bawling. "Luce..get what?" I see the look of surprise on his face go into concern and his eyes are fully on my face. For that I am grateful, I might be terrified at the moment but I know later I'll be humiliated.

"The spider Natsu! Please! Please! Get it off of me!" I can feel it near my shoulder and I stiffen. I see Natsu's eyes leave my face and go to the shoulder where the spider is. "Okay Luce...stay still and don't move.." he says and I was already obeying.

Natsu POV:

At first I couldn't believe she had NOTHING on. She screamed but I didn't senese anything but I still had to come. What if their magic was special and I couldn't sense it? As I flew in I didn't expect what I saw. Lucy standing up terrified but I saw nothing but her. I start to turn red, but I can't be thinking anything. She is terrified. She needs me.

After she explained a little more I finally noticed the spider. As I looked closer it seemed to be a black widow. However I wasn't going to tell her that seeing how she reacted 'so well' to just seeing a spider. Note the sarcasm. I start inching forward and before it can go anywhere I quickly grab it off her shoulder and kill it with my fire. Even if it bit me I would've been fine as my fire would have burned venom out. However, Lucy's body can't do that. As I look back at Lucy it seems she was in shock.

"Lucy? Hey, you okay?" I ask as I start slowly shaking her. I had to get her to her bed before any real damage was done. Not wanting to over step boundaries I wrap her in a towel, and put her under her bed covers after I let her bath water drain. "Luce! Hey, talk to me, what's wrong?" I ask as I start softly shaking her. I didn't know what to do and it was freaking me out.

"Natsu?" she asks as she starts coming out of shock. "Hey Luce. It's gone. I killed it. You okay?" I ask her as I see more tears start to form. She shakes her head no and said, "No...bad memories." I just stare at her for a minute before asking, "What bad memories?" she looks at me and takes a deep breath.

Lucy POV:

In her flashback story~

"Hey papa! Let's go play!" I yell with a smile. "I'm busy Lucy. Go play with your friends. I sigh and say, "yes papa." As I run out of the mansion I see my friends. "Hey Jane! Hey George!" I shout with a smile and a squeal.

"Hey lucy!" they both shout. I smile and skip over to them. "What do y'all want to do today?" I ask them. I see them look at each other and give a grin. "Let's play truth or dare!" Jane shouted. I was a little scared but I decided to trust them. We had been friends for so long. I just nod okay.

After a few rounds I pick dare. "I dare you to let us put spiders in your dress." George said. I look at them in horror. "What?! No!" they just look at eachother and George tackles me while Jane starts putting spiders in my dress. I could feel them crawling all over me. It was disgusting. By the time I got home I had been bitten all over by spiders with only 2 being a little venomous. After 4 days in the hospital I was free to go home. Never to play with them 2 again.

End of flashback~

After I tell Natsu what happened I pull the covers over my head and hide.

Natsu POV:

By the end of her story her tears was the only thing keeping me from going after those 2 selfish children. But I couldn't leave her sad and alone. But I was so mad. They put her through so much. "I'm sorry Luce..but don't worry! I'll be here to protect you!" I say absolutely certain. She looks up at me and says, "No you won't. One day you'll marry someone and have to protect her." at the end she lets out a small painful smile?

"Well, I'll just have to marry you then!" I shout with a huge smile. I see nothing wrong with it! I mean we do everything together anyways! What will a pair of rings change? "Natsu! We can't get married unless we love each other and feel like we're destined...like we know we don't want anyone else.." she says as she is red. I didn't understand..isn't that what I was feeling? "But I do feel that about you Luce!" I say with confidence. She just looks at me and turns away even more red than before. "I do too,," I hear her say quietly. I smile and do something even I never expected. I kissed her.

And a year and a half later, yes, they were married.
