Littlefoot's Warning

It was a few days after the battle for the Great Valley and the defeat of Sharptooth. Littlefoot had been successful in purifying the Jinsei of Sharptooth's evil. But it had changed something within him. The Longneck was now standing before two thrones in the Mysterious Beyond with a sack made of vines strapped around his side. Littlefoot looked to the two occupants and he said, "Too long have I allowed the Great Valley to endure the horrors of war.

"Time and again we have defeated our enemies." The Longneck stated. But he remembered all that he had lost from those battles. He then shook his head as he said, "But we've exacted no retribution. Demanded no remuneration.

"What have we gained for our mercy?" Littlefoot questioned with a distorted voice as time and again his protectorate has been threatened, "More intrigue." His anger flared as he said, "More senseless violence."

The Longneck took a moment to calm himself before looking to the two on the thrones, "As the new rulers of the Mysterious Beyond, heed me." Littlefoot warned. With a shake of his head he stated, "No longer will I simply defend the Great Valley.

"I will seek out and destroy all who threaten in." Littlefoot said with authority as he then stated, "No mercy will be shown." His tail whipped behind him as he said, "No quarter given."

Reaching his tail around to the bag, he used it to lift the flap before reaching his paw inside. Then with one quick motion, he brought something out and dropped it onto the floor. The severed head of Sharptooth tumbled on the ground before coming to a stop as it faced the two new rulers. It looked as if it tried to say something, but all that came out was gurgles. The eyes looked dim until it blinked and a little life came to them. Littlefoot then told them, "Sharptooth was an elder god. Impossible to kill."

Littlefoot took a step forward as he stated, "There are fates worse than death."

With nothing more to say, Littlefoot turned his head skyward before disappearing by a bolt of lightning. The lightning left a burning spot as the severed head of Sharptooth continued to move while the two rulers came forth, revealing themselves to be the revenant versions of Petrie and Ducky. Both dinosaurs were clad in Mysterious Beyond armor while red cracks ran across their gray scales. Both revenants looked down to the severed head before looking to each other as they were uncertain by the Longneck's words.
