Disclaimer: I do not own the character from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, only how the story goes. Zog from 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles belongs to Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman. The only thing that I do own are the OC's of the story. I apologize for any errors in grammar and/or if I was not accurate in reference to something.

Zog's New Purpose

Zog felt great pain when he felt the Federation scum's blades slash across his back. With a pained grunt he fell onto the floor. The warrior in the silver armor walked past him as he called him a fool before threatening his commanders. Zog's eyes shot open as he didn't want any harm to come to his comrades. But before the silver warrior could even lay a finger on them, Zog got up and snuck up behind him before wrapping his arms around the silver warrior's torso in a bone crushing bear hug. He heard his comrades cheer from both his well being and his upper hand on their enemy. Knowing that they didn't have much time, nor with his wound if he would last, Zog then requested, "Sirs, tell them Zog fought bravely."

He turned and carried the silver warrior to the flaming pit as he said, "For his comrades, for honor, for victory." When he was about a foot from the edge, he shouted, "For the Republic!"

Then with a leap, both he and the silver warrior fell into the fiery chasm of the burning stronghold. The flames rose around them and Zog felt a brief moment of pain before feeling nothing. The Triceraton's grip on the silver warrior loosened as his life ended. His last thoughts were to his comrades and wishing them the best. His entire world soon faded into black as he joined the other fallen warriors.

Zog soon twitched his eyes as he suddenly felt like he was breathing once again. Looking down at his body, all he saw on him was his uniform, he wore not a mask or had his weapons on him. Slowly opening them, he found himself floating through a white void. Zog looked around to see if anything was familiar, but nothing came within view. A voice then said, "Zog."

"Huh?" The Triceraton questioned as he once again looked around for the source of the voice. The voice then called out again, "Zog."

"Who is there?" Zog asked. Soon, a being wearing a white dress came forth in the void and stopped a few feet from him. The being's face could not be seen, but they sounded kind as they said, "Zog. You have done a great service for your friends."

"My friends." Zog said as he thought back to the team he was with. His eyes widened as he realized that they were not Triceratons, but were the team of terrapins that Captain Mozar had been looking for along with the Fugitoid. Though he was slightly angry that they weren't Triceratons, he remembered that they fought honorably and he was once again proud to have fought by their side. The being then said, "I am prepared to give a new purpose."

"A new purpose?" Zog asked. He thought it impossible since he had passed on, but the being then said, "Your life is not fully done, for we are in a place between the living and the next. I can give you a new purpose, but it will not be where you are familiar with."

Zog knew what that meant, that he would likely never see his comrades or his people ever again. But with a new purpose, Zog knew that he could make some new comrades and with that, came more victory.

Looking to the being he gave his answer, "I accept."

"Excellent." They said before reaching their left hand out. Zog took it and an energy of sorts swirled down the being's hand before coming onto Zog's. Zog could feel as if he could breath for real as he closed his eyes.

When he opened them again, they snapped open and he sat up in the terrain. Looking about, it was as the being had said, nothing was familiar to him. Standing up at his full height, Zog started moving off.

Author's Note: I'm gonna stop it right here. Don't worry, Zog will be coming back, whether its for one fanfiction or another. I have a few stories with Zog in them in mind, but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm gonna let you in on something about the Ninja Turtles, I like the 2003 Triceratons out of the other versions. I find them more like-able than the 2012 version, mostly because that the 2003 Triceratons have more honor and a little more sense of when to stop the fighting. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
