Steven and Amethyst are heading to the barn to visit Lapis and Peridot

Steven: I wonder what Lapis and Peridot have been up to since we last seen them.

Amethyst: I don't know dude. Maybe they destroyed the barn.

They arrive at the barn

Steven: Hey guys.

Lapis and Peridot: Steven.

Amethyst: And Amethyst.

Peridot: I was just talking to Lapis. She's ready to start fusing again.

Amethyst: Really?

Steven: Are you sure?

Amethyst: Yeah don't you need a little while longer after you know who?

Lapis: I know but that's all behind me now. Besides Peridot really wants to know what it feels like to fuse.

Steven: Alright well let's see your fusion.

Peridot: Ready, Lapis?

Lapis: Ready, Peridot.

They start dancing; their gems begin to glow and right as they put their hands on their shoulders, they begin to fuse

Steven: (whispers) Yes.

The glowing fades and Lapis and Peridot have formed into Lapidot

Steven: You look amazing.

Amethyst: Yeah. So how does it feel Lapis? Peridot? Lapidot?

Lapidot (Peridot): It feels amazing.

Lapidot (Lapis): Yeah. She even named our fusion.

Amethyst: I did the same for Stevonnie.

Steven: It's true. If Garnet were here right now, she would be so proud.

Garnet appears out of nowhere

Garnet: Whoa just look at you. I'm so proud.

Lapidot: Thanks.

Amethyst: Are you sure you're cool with it?

Lapidot (Lapis): Yes Amethyst. I feel fine. I forgot how much fun it is. Before Malachite, I never really fused.

Steven: Oh yeah because you were trapped in a mirror.

Lapis and Peridot unfuse

Peridot: That was cool.

Lapis: Right.

Steven: So Peridot how was your first time fusing?

Garnet: Did you feel different?

Peridot: Kind of. But it felt great. Now I see why Ruby and Sapphire like it so much.

Garnet: Yeah.
