YES I AM BACK, with another Red x fic, can we see a little trend here with my taste in men? However this one will be a lot better than my last, so if you did like that one please tune in, if you didn't..well I said this would be better right? LOL. I am really going to try to be more on time with my posts also, I left a story for like a year and I don't want that to happen again, so I will be working on a schedule that fits now that I work from home. 3 Make sure you let me know what you think in the comments. They literally make my day.

The rain doesn't do much to help the already worn traction of my combat boots as I try to shield another one of Red X's laser bullets. Where he got the gun that does that I don't know. I can only see his outline through my black shield. I grunt as, I can feel my feet slipping with every step he takes forward. I am saved by the robin-arang knocking the gun out of his hands. I release my shield just long enough to throw a bolt of my own at Red X, he dodges it along with a high kick from Robin. I take a deep breath trying to regain some energy. My wet hair is matted to my forehead and neck making it hard for me to focus on it. It's uncomfortable.

"You know if I knew it would be this easy I wouldn't even have brought any weapons" Red X mocks from his mask, his voice coming out robotic and eerie. He loads up another weapon that can do who knows what, as a green starbolt hits him in the back, he lands almost at my feet. I envelope him in a black dome and hold him above ground. Starfire lands on the roof with her arm outstretched. A green starbolt charging up in her hands pointed at Red X even through the shield he knows what it means. Cyborg does the same behind the shield as does Beastboy, in the form of a cheetah, growling and hissing from his position to my left. He is surrounded and has no where to go anyway.

"You seem distracted X" Robin says, I shoot him a glare. Knowing him saying anything to set him off with set him off, giving us worse problems to deal with. Robin takes my cue and shuts his mouth. I lower Red X to the ground without breaking the dome. He looks around the dome, he doesn't say anything. Just breathing coming out sounding like an inhaler. I can see the wheels turning in his head. Robin stands in front of the dome, trying to face him.

"What do you want? What are you planning?" He asks. Red X turns away and fiddles with someone in his hands. He slams it down and red smoke covers the inside of the dome and then hes gone. I release the now empty dome and curse under my breath and shake my head. Robin walks away to the edge of the building. I can feel his frustration from here. I know he hates losing Red X more than the rest of us, the thought of someone who can outsmart us on more than one occasion has never sit right with him. It doesn't take long for him to be done brooding and head back to the rest of the team.

"Raven scan for anything that has his aura on it" He demands, I nod and do so looking around the rooftop. What feels like a sliver of his aura rests where Starfire rolled him. Robin impatiently waits by for an answer. I ignore his impatience and walk to where I sense it.

"Well?" He asks, I ignore him still and bend down picking what looks like a debit card off of the ground. Only it isn't that. I hold it up to Robin, he takes it out of my hand and turns it over in his own. Looking it over carefully.

"It's a access card, for a local university. Do you think it's actually his?" He asks, I shrug unsure. It is possible, or it could be something he picked up, something he rolled over.

"I don't know it could be, we would need to look at the student roster and see if any of them match the profile that you and the Bat drew up for him" I say, Robin nods his head and looks to the tower. It's time to go back home.

We are there before long, everyone trying to dry off from the downpour. Robin gestures for me to follow him into this office, his little detective space that has been taken over by different open cases. Nothing that we wouldn't be able to solve if only we focused on one at a time, which we have all tried to tell Robin one time or another. He sits in his chair and looks up the College doing his little hacking thing to get into the student roster. I can tell he is going to pull another all nighter just going through the list the first time and excluding the first set of students. Women, middle aged people, and such. I put a hand on his shoulder and exhale.

"I want you to get sleep Dick, now isn't the time to be doing this to yourself" I say, he turn around and faces me, I can tell by the determined look in his eyes he has no plan on listening to me. I roll my eyes getting prepared for the lecture I might have to endure.

"You think this is easy for me Rae? I have to find this guy, I need to make the world a safer place. I can't just roll over and let this go." He says I nod and look down at my hands. "This is the first real clue we have had in a long time and you want me to give it up?"

"No, just get some sleep so you can tackle the case tomorrow with a fresh set of eyes. What is so wrong with that?" I ask he scoffs and turns his back to me I can see him start to work and blocking out any other thoughts.

"Dick this isn't healthy"

"I am not letting this go. I care about this world and the bad guys that are in it need to be dealt with. Maybe it's your inner demon who doesn't understand that" He snaps. I suck on my teeth and nod Taking my hand away from him. He feels the detachment and turns to face me. His brows furrowed as if he doesn't understand.

"My inner demon has nothing to do with why I want you to take care of yourself. Thanks for bringing it up" I snap and turn on my heels heading out of the door, he doesn't stop me I head to my bedroom feeling the anger seeping inside of me. My inner demon? Are you kidding me? How many times is he going to bring up my half demon side. As if I chose this? The door shuts behind me with a hiss. I strip myself of my clothes and change into black shorts and a tank top. Something comfortable to sleep in. It doesn't take me long to fall asleep. However I am woken up by the sound of my room door opening. I look at the time, it reads just short of three a.m. I close my eyes again feeling the arms wrapping around my waist.

"I'm sorry Rae" Robin says as he shifts into the bed. He kisses my shoulder, it doesn't take us both much longer to fall asleep, his arms still around my waist. When my alarm goes off I shut it off quickly, careful not to wake him up. I look at him sleeping, one arm tucked under the pillow and the other resting on his chest which rises and falls with every breath. I change into my normal everyday clothes, my unitard and cloak and head downstairs where Cyborg is already brewing a strong smelling pot of coffee. I brush passed him without a word. He has already started the water for my morning tea.

"Thank you" I say quietly. He nods and pours himself a cup of his coffee.

"What time did he end up going to bed?" Cyborg asks I sigh and lean against the counter with my arms folded across my chest.

"Three...I should start locking my door at night. He can't sleep over if it's later than midnight. Maybe that'll get him in bed sooner" I say Cyborg chuckles and sips his coffee.

"Bee tried that on me, I can't say it was unsuccessful. However it only works when I sleep over there which I haven't done in a long time" He says I nod I suppose it might not work, he does have his own bedroom. We switch off on who's room we sleep in. Depends on who goes to bed first. I can't stand sleeping in his room though, it's so...bright. Starfire is the next to walk into the kitchen as bubbly as ever. She smiles and grabs a mug out of the cabinet. I don't think she actually needs the coffee, she just likes fitting in with the rest of us for wanting to drink something in the morning.

"Good morning my friends!" She beams.

"Morning Star" I greet finally hearing the kettle screaming at me. I turn off the heat and pour the water in my cup and dropping a tea bag in. I let it sit for a couple minutes as the rest of the gang wake. Robin strolls in he pours himself a cup of coffee no mix ins. He passes me placing a kiss on my cheek and heading right back into his office. I take a sip of my tea and inhale it's fumes.

"Anyone up for breakfast?" Cyborg asks to an unresponsive audience.

[The next day]

"Thank you everyone for coming, I think I have narrowed it down to about a handful of people. All of these men have the traits we selected for our profile, and have the means and time to be going around as Red X but this is so far the only thing I have been able to narrow it down to" Robin says handing each of us file folders with pictures and class schedules of each student. I go through each one looking them over and looking at the faces of each person.

"None of them look like they could be Red X?" I ask Robin knows what I am asking.

"If I am being honest I don't even think I would recognize him aged. I never really got to see him, and we don't know if he would be using a glamour" He answers, I nod and look back down at the file in front of me.

"So what is the plan Rob? Talk to each one and see which one starts fighting us?" Beastboy asks nervously, I can tell he isn't really ready for that type of confrontation.

"No, I was thinking, even if we figured out who he was we wouldn't have enough to legally put him away, just because we are Titans doesn't mean we can just throw anyone in prison without proof. X will know that which means he would be very good at trying to lie to us." Robin explains, I raise my hand Robin looks at me giving me the floor.

"What if I just sensed all of their auras? I mean that's how we got the key card isn't it?" I ask he nods.

"Which is why I am thinking of sending you undercover. You once told me that not everyone's aura is different. Since it is a mental and emotional thing right? Which would mean that more than one of these guys who have similar stories and behavioral traits could have that same aura. I am thinking that you go in, narrow it down, and follow and befriend the ones who match up and when you catch on in the action of being Red X you detain him before he even knows you did it." Robin suggests. I drop my jaw in disbelief.

"Okay do you think I would even be able to do that on my own? It takes all five of us to even fight him" I argue, he nods

"Well that is why we would have the element of surprise. I spoke to Batman about this last night he thinks it's the best way to get on his trail without him knowing we are on it. We would glamour you and make sure you look human. Enough to pass as a normal person. He wouldn't be able to see it coming. I doubt he even knows that we are smart enough to nail him through all those students" Robin says I shake my head

"Or he dropped that card on purpose to lead us into a trap" I say. Robin shrugs and sighs.

"I am willing to take that risk to nail this son of bitch" He answers. I scoff and fold my arms across my chest. Mulling over my options, we don't really have many other plans in the works that would be able to work. I glare daggers at Robin, I try to sense any type of remorse from him, but all that comes off is anger"

"Fine, I guess I am going to college"
