I made my way into my apartment. I opened the door and locked it after I entered. Dropping the bag full of groceries, I made my way into the bathroom, dumping off my smelly clothes on the basket and took a quick hot shower.
Humming to the beat of 'Fly Me to the Moon', I shampooed my hair. After rinsing off the soap suds, I stepped out of the shower and changing into comfortable clothes, I went straight to my computer.
I browsed through the web looking for something to do. After a few hours or so of me, listening to music and browsing the internet, I got bored and tired since there was nothing new for today.
I wasn't even in the mood to watch porn or anything anymore. Sighing, I turned off my computer, drank some water and went to lie down on the bed.
I surrounded myself with an abundance of pillows and played a lofi song on my phone. Now comfortable, I closed my eyes and thinking,
'I hope something interesting will happen tomorrow.'

Not that I didn't have any close relatives or anything. My older brother is still alive however he was already happily married with two kids, another one on the way. My dad and my mum already passed on peacefully a while back. Any other living relative of mine, I wasn't that close with. We were just acquaintances, knowing that we had the same blood running through our veins. I had a few friends in my workplace but not close enough that they will be depressed that I died, just a few tears and they'll go back to being normal after a few hours or so.
The few regrets I had weren't that important, something like not turning off my phone or erasing my browse-. Okay, the latter is pretty important for my dignity. I would sigh if I could but I couldn't. This isn't what I meant by something interesting happening.

After a few or so minutes of silence, my thoughts turned back to the glowing white box. So... What's going to happen to me now?

I read and read for a while, taking in the colorful backgrounds of the worlds. Some were really interesting, like a world where only shrimps existed. And such and such. Though they were mostly filled with anime and game worlds.

I have to take a risk to be able to gather enough SC in my new life. Normal worlds like Oregairu will be difficult to gather enough SC since changing the MCs lives will be not that significant for the world. Obviously, worlds like Attack on Titan and Ito Junji is out of the question for me, especially Ito Junji. I could go into 'the Culture', but I can't kill nor make any significant changes when I'm there though that would be a good final life if I want to settle down or something.

The white surrounding me shrunk leaving me in darkness.
In a wide lush green grass plain.. A muscular white-haired man meditated wearing only the pants of his gi, birds perched onto his body as he was so still they weren't disturbed. A bright light shone on his lap as a weight settled, he opened one eye to look and he raised his eyebrows fully once he took a look at what it was.
It was a baby brimming with Nen.
