Lover

A Perico story

{Chapter One}

The Wind Blows South

I had thought that Annabeth and I would stay together forever. It was not so. So it will never be.

{Flashback. Three months before banishment}

Annabeth and I were on patrol, going around the perimeter of the campgrounds. A kid came running through the clearing, being chased by a hellhound. We quickly killed it off, only for the kid to try and push me to the ground. Keyword tried. He failed hopelessly, and he even had a crowd. All of the camp. Whispers started all around about a kid who thought he could push Percy Jackson. Little did I know my life would get so much more difficult.

{Banishment}

I had caught Annabeth kissing that same kid. David, son of Ares. I had turned around, and let them live in peace. I broke up with Annabeth the next day. And a few moments later, I was, chained in front of the Olympians, almost all of them thinking that I was traitor.

"All in favor of killing him?" Very few hands went up. I held in a sigh of relief. "All in favor of banishing him to Alaska?" More hands went up. My dad's hand stayed still.

"Poseidon," Zeus said, "If you do not choose, we will kill him instead. I looked up. Athena had a look of pride on her face. Demeter was looking at a Special K magazine- Has she not heard of Corn Flakes?- Ares looked bored, and everyone else had looks of disappointment or hate and loathing in them. All aimed at me. I didn't even do anything. Their number one ally has powerful, so they decided to kill him. Or banish, as it seems. Slowly, Poseidon raised his hand. He wouldn't meet my eyes. I didn't blame him though.

"You will be banished to the Land Beyond the Gods. Never return here!" Zeus thundered, waiting to strike me down with his lightning bolt.

"Wait!" A voice cried, "Percy would never do something like this!" Nico DiAngelo said. Mummers of agreement rippled through the crowd.

There was proof! Just deal with it, Nico!" a bitchy voice said. I resisted the urge to break my chains and lunge at her. That cheating whore! 'Who does she think she is?' I thought angrily. Whatever. I didn't need her anyway.

"We have delayed this too long." Zeus hurled his bolt at me, but instead of pain, I could feel my body being pushed and pulled as a was transported from New York to Alaska.

{Flaskbacks End}

{10

Years

Later}

I stood atop the penthouse I now called my home. True to their word, the gods had dropped me in Alaska with nothing but money and clothes. I had made a name for myself. I didn't them. I was an international singer. I went on tours. I even went to New York. Twice! The gods didn't do anything. Either they didn't know...or didn't care. I assumed it was the latter. Strong arms wrapped around from behind. Nico's head rested on my shoulders.

"What are you thinking about, Mio Amore?" He asked.

I turned around to face him. He was taller than me, but not by much. His hair was long, almost like a bob, and he usually had it in a man bun. His brown, almost black eyes had laughing lines around them. He was happier now, more vibrant than before. After my banishment, he had disappeared from the god's sight, to be with me. Over the years, we had bonded. 5 years ago, we had gotten married and had a... eventful honeymoon. We had adopted two perfect little angels. Nick and Amy, two twins from the orphanage. Nick was 13, son of Nike. Amy was 10, daughter of Nike. I was now 28, Nico being 25. I was happy now, but that memory of betrayal could never leave my mind.

"That day when...when.." I choked up and started to cry into his shoulder.

"Oh, Mio amore, don't think of such things. You have us now. Nick, Amy, me, millions of fans who care about you. We don't need them now or ever." He said, comforting me. I kissed him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. My arms went around his neck, killing the space between us.

"Feel better now?" He asked. I sucked on his neck, making sure to leave a hickey.

"To the bed?" He asked.

"Lock the door," I replied, nibbling on his neck.

Far away, a band of maiden warriors was nearing their destination. A penthouse of what had in it the daughter of Nike. She would be a good addition to the hunt. Her guardians would never dare refuse a goddess solace. She would live in their home with her hunters and they would set out again. She also kept an eye out for the missing demigod son of Hades.

"Milady, look!" Her lieutenant cried. Nico's familiar outline could be seen on the penthouse roof. He seemed to be holding something.

"Someone" She realized. So, he settled down. "But with who?" She had to ask herself. She would know when they arrived. They were only an hour maybe two distance away. "I must inform the other Olympians when we return that his whereabouts have been discovered."

She would know. They would all know.

A little Perico fluff for you. Yes, that is Artemis. The next chapter will be from Annabeth Pov. Sorry, this is so short. The next chapters will be longer(I hope). Read "Love Wins'' before this for a better summary.
