Prologue - Rebirth
(Saturday, 3rd September, 5:34 p.m. - Shigyokai District)
The pain in her right leg was excruciating.
"He he . . . but considering what I did, I guess this much is expected." Tears of pain were pouring down her ash-smeared face despite her best efforts to grin through it. Even through her blurry eyes, the crackling fire that surrounded her was clear with its giant, roaring crimson flames. The last door she'd seen had been swallowed up by blazing tongues, cutting off escape from the building completely. All that was visible now was red dancing in every corner of her sight, the heat from the flames drawing nearer and hotter every minute. A pillar in some corner of the room, weakened by fire, gave away and toppled, resounding in a loud crash that was soon overtaken by the crackling.
With great effort, she turned her body to the side, gritting her teeth to stomp down on any cries of pain that could escape her parched throat. Boombase had struck at her leg with a large hammer before escaping and with his muscles, she would be surprised if there weren't a few broken bones.
"Damn you guys, really." She slowly crawled forward, putting her energy into her hate-filled thoughts to ignore the throbbing pain in her limb. "Fuck you all . . . fuck you . . . fucking, fuck you . . . fooling us like that . . ."
Her crawling stopped. There was no escape . . . no door she could see.
The girl stopped, her disheveled red hair falling all over her face. During the chaos, they'd snapped out of their signature twintails and now framed her features in ragged locks.
"But . . . it's all my fault, isn't it?"
Her lower lip quivered.
". . . I started it first."
She probably had no right to be saved. Of course she didn't. Villains have no right to be saved.
"Ahaah . . . they're gonna be soooooo disappointed when it comes in the late night news today." She sprawled on her back, arms limp on either side as an image of her parents flashed through her mind. They were good citizens - hardworking, honest, kind and responsible. When she thought about how they had to deal with a demented child like her, it made her laugh.
And so she did.
Raspy, broken howls of amusement echoed through the burning flames, forming a cacophony of their own instead of giving in to the overwhelming crackles of the fire. Her leg still hurt, tears were still pouring down her face due to the pain and the heat but she continued laughing loudly. Until black smoke entered her lungs and choked her up.
The girl hacked and coughed rather violently, her chest pounding up-and-down with aggressive motions. More tears poured out as droplets of saliva were flung into the air, falling over the top of her school uniform and her face. It was hard to breathe, her skin was beginning to scald and she could see her death moments away.
'Oh shit . . .'
She'd promised she wouldn't cry even during her final moments. But keeping the smile on her face, even though she was so used to it, was proving to be the most difficult thing she'd ever done.
'Now I wish . . . I'd at least confessed to him once . . .'
The final face she thought of clenched her heart with intense hurt.
A loud crash echoed through the room and the girl snapped black eyes open just in time to see a fiery door fly and slam into the opposite wall. Her vision was flickering but she forced herself to stay awake. Two figures rushed in and she could tell they were yelling - but all her ears could hear were the sounds of the flames reaching out for her death.
"KOTA-KUN, ERASE THE FLAMES! QUICKLY!"
"WATERFALL!"
Amidst all the crimson, there was a streak of blue which quickly flooded through the flames and began quenching out the fire. There was a strange bubbling as the large waves of water began drowning out the widespread blazing. The girl put as much strength as she could in her tired arms and began lifting herself up.
A figure bent over her. A freckled face the whole world knew looked at her with simultaneous expressions of worry and relief.
"Can you stand?!"
". . . My right leg's broken." She was surprised she could speak. "I think some of the bones have been shattered." For a second, she thought she was already dead and in Heaven, with a beautiful Angel cradling her - but the heat and the sound of fire brought her back.
"Don't worry, that'll be fixed." The flames had been reduced to the left side of the large room. As the girl was picked up effortlessly by warm, strong arms, she could do nothing but just lie limply. "I'm just glad you're alive, Yoroi Homura-san."
". . . Me too." She let her head fall against his broad chest and realised that it was the best sensation she'd ever felt. Such warmth and kindness . . . she now believed all the newspapers and his fans had to say.
"Deku, it's finished." Through the corner of her eye, she saw a young, dark-haired male - his narrow eyes seemed to momentarily rest on her. "We should get back soon."
"Right, thank you, Kot- er, Water Hose."
And as they sped through the burned down building, the smell of charred flames still permeating the wet air, Homura closed her eyes in a relief she knew was temporary. She was alive. Yes, her right leg was horribly damaged and had now gone numb from the pain but she knew it could be fixed. Would be fixed. After all, the Number 1 Hero in the world had promised it, hadn't he?
Outside, she could hear a great deal of chaos - the high-pitched alarms of firetrucks; the rapid rush of high-pressured water; firemen, Heroes and the police yelling amidst themselves. She wondered if any of those voices were talking about burnt corpses or missing people still trapped under blackened rubble. She wondered if there were crying parents blubbering about missing children or separated couples wondering with despair if their other half was still stuck inside the factory. She wondered how many and who she had indirectly killed.
". . . Will I be going to jail?"
Her voice was so soft and void of emotion, she almost didn't recognise it. Soft emerald eyes, with an unreadable expression, settled on her face. "No, Yoroi-san, you're still a minor. But . . ."
She cracked a slight smile as his voice hesitantly trailed off. Despite having been a top Hero for twenty years, Midoriya Izuku was still soft in many areas. "Juvie, huh? Considering what I did, I'm getting off pretty lucky, hehe."
Homura closed her eyes again but she could feel Deku looking at her. Wisps of a cool breeze blew her stray locks over her face. ". . . Your friends and parents are waiting for you. Everything will be fine now, Yoroi-san."
She knew they were waiting - as soon as the news had covered the incident as an emergency alert, Homura was sure mom and dad had driven to the factory at full speed. Hachidori-sensei and the other teachers must've taken most of the students home but in her mind, she could see a few faces who'd stayed behind.
". . . Thank you, Deku."
Now she really wished she'd have died in the fire.
(Saturday, 3rd September, 9:33 p.m. - ?)
"The crow flaps its wings
Even as its ripped feathers
Wear and tear in agony
To life it clings
Ignoring the sweet nothings
Death whispers in its ears."
"What are you writing?"
Cigarette smell permeated the quiet air of the cool night. It'd just stopped raining a few minutes ago and the dark nimbus clouds were now beginning to disperse, letting the moon shower its soft glow upon the inky world once again.
"Lyrics for the upcoming album . . . haaaaaaahhhh. But I'm not really making much progress." In the dimly lit room of a tidy house located in a quiet suburb of Musutafu, two figures were engaged in conversation. One sat in front of a flat computer screen, eyebrows squinted in concentration while the other lounged upon the broad windowsill, puffing away at a crumbling Silk Cut.
"Creativity, huh . . . not one of my strong suits." Quiet fell upon the room once again, interrupted only by the erratic typing of keys. "Did you see the news about the fire at that candy factory in Shigyokai?" Ashes fell to the floor, powdering over the stained carpet. "Deku once again flawlessly saved the day. Lots of injured people but zero casualties."
"Heh, don't tell me you didn't expect that." The other person replied amusedly, not shifting their eyes away. "The Number 1 Hero's not gonna let anyone die as long as he's on site, you know?" Since the two speakers were the only living people in the house, a permanent silence lingered.
Arms stretched and muscles cracked. "Well . . . we'll see about that someday." The second speaker rubbed their cigarette out on the sill. "Anyway, I'll get going now. It's getting pretty late."
"Yes yes, just leave without cleaning the ashes." The first speaker sounded borderline exasperated but his tone was light and teasing. The second speaker ignored the male's words and dusting off the ashes from her jeans, stood up on her feet. She was halfway across towards the open door, when-
"Oi, where are you going?! Don't leave the corpse here!"
The tall figure immediately stopped in her tracks. "Ah, I almost forgot." With a tired grunt, she waddled back before effortlessly lifting the unmoving figure of a blond man and hoisting it over a broad shoulder. Blood dripped down the dark jacket she was wearing but she didn't seem to care.
"It's fine, I'm used to it by now." The male sighed before turning back his attention to the computer screen. "Come by to clean the carpet tomorrow." He momentarily gestured to a spot near the windowsill where dark red had completely soaked through blue velvet.
"Yes, yes." The woman stifled a yawn, shutting the door behind her. "Good night, Shimura-kun."
"Twenty years ago, there was a horrible war. The most destructive, terrifying Quirk war Japan had ever seen.
Under the leadership of a single, powerful man, all the Villains in the country, from the amateurs to the infamous, united and waged a war against the Heroes."
"Hey, hey, why so teary-eyed?" Homura did her best to grin, showing off a row of perfectly straight, white teeth. In the doorway of the hospital room stood her parents, father grim-faced and pale and mother a sobbing mess.
"Even with so many great Heroes on our side, the war took a lot out of us. We may have been at the pinnacle of our power but all of us still lost someone near or dear. So many lives, innocent, heroic and villainous, were crushed under the murderous destruction.
Including lives we'd once thought were invincible."
"Promise me . . . you'll NEVER pull something like this again."
She was cocooned in her wailing mother's arms but except the feeling of salty tears on her cheek, Homura felt nothing. Her father's voice, pulled tight and weary from holding back his emotions, sounded like a violin that'd been strung out of tune. It evoked nothing in her vapid, hollow mind.
"Shigaraki Tomura . . . the Grand Commander of the Paranormal Liberation Front. The demented supervillain who began the war and united the country's most powerful criminals under his leadership, seeked nothing but the utter destruction of the society we lived in. He left no stone unturned, no life untouched, to realise the complete extent of his cathartic dream.
The most dangerous Villain in society's pages.
Yes, a Villain who even surpassed his mentor, All for One."
"~ The crow flaps its wings . . . ~"
In a dark house in a quiet neighbourhood, a bespectacled male hummed to himself as he walked out of his bedroom, computer turned off.
"~. . . Even as its ripped feathers . . . wear and tear in agony . . . ~"
He leisurely paced through the cream-coloured hallways of his tidy house, a pale, delicate hand sliding over the wooden banister as he descended to the ground floor.
"~ . . . to life it clings . . . ignoring the sweet nothings . . . ~"
". . . We almost lost.
The strongest Heroes of Japan, who stood united and fought to the brink of their lives, almost lost to the raw strength of the Ultimate Destroyer.
But when all hope was gone and all that seemed to be waiting for us was a world drenched in darkness . . .
Someone made a sacrifice."
"Homura-chan, we'll visit tomorrow morning again, okay?"
Her mother's face was drenched in tears and snot and flushed red. The 14-year old laughed and joked, "Visitors are allowed only after 9:00 a.m., mom. Don't come early and line up like it's the New Year's sale."
"Really, you . . . still haven't learnt the timing for your jokes . . ." But despite what he said, both her parents had small smiles on their faces. Homura grinned and briskly waved them goodbye as they shut the door behind them.
There would be no more visitors. Lights out was a few minutes away.
As she stared at herself in the clean reflection of the opposite window, her smile gradually vanished.
"A Quirkless, weak man made the greatest sacrifice to save the whole world.
. . . No, he wasn't weak at all.
He was the strongest Hero the world had . . . the world would ever see.
All Might."
"~. . . death whispers in its ears."
At the end of the ground floor hallway was a single room with an everyday wooden door. But unlike the other rooms in the house, it was the only room that always remained locked.
His singing ceased, the male pulled out a small, old key from the pockets of his sweatpants. With a single fit, it pierced into the door's keyhole and a click was heard.
"With his last bits of remaining life force, All Might granted me a titanic surge of power, boosting One for All to the greatest heights it'd ever seen.
And even though my body felt like it would rip apart and my muscles would rupture, I knew that was the only chance. The one final chance to end Shigaraki Tomura's rampage of evil.
All Might's final punch was in my fist to deliver."
". . . You almost got us killed."
Before switching off the lights, Homura had requested the nurse to leave one of the windows open so the after-rain breeze could waft in. Her body was exhausted and her mind was screaming for sleep but her eyes remained wide open, staring at the ceiling above her.
There was no one else in the room.
With a sigh, she rolled onto her side, tucking an arm below her head. "You know . . . I . . . I don't want to do this anymore." As she shifted, the covers moved along with her. She continued in a soft voice, "I . . . never really wanted to be a Villain. What I wanted was-"
( "I'm just glad you're alive, Yoroi Homura-san." )
"Heh." She chuckled, rubbing the tip of her nose. "What is this, love at first sight or something?" When there was no reply to her sentence, she crossed both her arms under her head and shifted on her back, glaring at the ceiling again. The moving city lights from outside the window were forming weird shapes.
"It took me way too long to realise but I've made my decision." The grin had been replaced by firmly clenched lips. The shadows on the ceiling were beginning to look like misshapen monsters. ". . . I'm gonna join UA too."
"FOOL. You think someone like you can become a Hero?"
A dark, crimson eye stared at Homura from right beside her position on the bed. The raspy voice spoke into her ear, "And aiming for the top school in the country? You'll never get in."
She grinned back at it, eyes narrowed.
"Well, we won't know until we try, will we?"
"Due to the greatest Hero's sacrifice . . . we won.
Shigaraki Tomura and the Paranormal Liberation Front were defeated. Uncountable lives were lost on both sides, everyone was left emotionally broken but ultimately, justice had prevailed.
However, in the ensuing chaos that followed-"
"This place really needs some dusting." Closing the door behind him, the male wiped his glasses on his shirt and looked around at the disheveled condition of the room. Boxes were strewn everywhere, thick layers of dust and grime covered the floor and walls and dark splatters were sprayed on the decals.
The only light in the room was a soft blue glow emitted by a tall, wide tank located at the end, pushed against a wall. A wide smile spread on the man's face as he came to a stop in front of it, placed both his palms on the cool glass and peered at the unconscious figure floating within the luminous liquid.
"-All Might was gone.
He'd disappeared from the battlefield, almost like a ghostly specter. No one could remember where he'd gone and no one had seen anyone taking him away. He'd vanished into thin air.
Even with the efforts of an entire nation and the help of many countries and organisations, no trace of All Might could be found. Every nook and cranny of every probable place was combed through but there was not a clue about the Symbol of Peace's whereabouts.
And twenty years later, we're still looking."
"You know, they say Deku himself wrote the introductory paragraph for the 4th volume of the Greatest Heroes of History." The male held up the thick book he'd been reading, bound in embossed leather. Flipping through the pages as he spoke to the white-haired, gaunt man stored within the tank, he continued, "He actually has pretty good penmanship, if I do say so myself! All that note-taking practice through his school years seems to have made for great practice." But no matter what he said, the eyes of the man in the tank remained closed. The only movement within the tank were the air bubbles that slowly filtered out of the wired respirator attached to his lower face.
"I'm not disturbing you much, am I?" The man folded his arms behind his back and tilted his head to the side, smiling sweetly. "Anyway, I just came to say good night, like I always do. Well, not like you're gonna reply but . . ."
Throwing his arms as wide as he could, he embraced the tank. The figure within remained motionless.
"Good night, All Might."
Hello. Those who've already seen my profile already know that this is the new account of HotPinkMonster, given to me by a friend who's no more into fanfiction. What happened to My Hero Academia: Generation Z and my old account, you ask? Well, it's a bit of a story but like the most of us, let me just say I haven't been having the greatest year-
To be honest, this year for me has been COMPLETE SHIT.
Briefly explaining, my old laptop was infected with a virus by a malicious hacker through an infected mail sent from a trusted source. And that led to all my stored data and old email ID becoming corrupted which made me lose a lot of important documents, including the chapters and planning drafts for my fic. After wallowing in anger and sadness for a few weeks, I've decided that I cannot do so anymore so I've planned to reboot my story with a new cast, new themes and a new premise. If you're interested, feel free to send an OC. I can PROMISE it'll be more than worth your time.
Here are some rules and tips to follow. PLEASE READ THIS:
1.) Please be detailed with your information about the character. This seriously helps a lot with the closest portrayal you have of them in your mind in the story.
2.) Things which are too common will be subject to change. This applies to hair colour, hair styles, backgrounds, personalities and, of course, Quirks. To make every character stand out, they can't be too similar.
3.) Strong Quirks are appreciated but there's a line between strong and overpowered. Flaws are necessary for each character, whether they be in personality or Quirk abilities, more so since they're only teenagers beginning their development.
4.) Please follow the form I've provided otherwise it becomes difficult to read them. Any that don't do so will be asked to re-send or rejected.
5.) The roster is for 20 spots, with my character occupying 1 one of them, so there are a total of 19 available spots. There will be submissions for Villains and so later but right now, I'm only accepting students. So please don't ask me about about other submissions.
6.) Other than that, if you need help with filling out ANYTHING at all on the form, hit me up! I'll explain it as many times as it takes for you to understand. No need to hesitate, I'm a straightforward person.
7.) Try to be original. Of course, it's not possible for a character to be a never-before-seen considering the vast world of fiction out there but please don't just rip-off the backstories/personalities/powers/appearance of other characters. There's so many more ways you can make a good character other than giving them dead parents, heterochromia or the EDGE.
8.) Deadline is two weeks from now i.e. 27th July, GMT+5:30. Well, it's flexible for until a few hours later too.
And for people who are new to this or need some guidance on how to write a character, I've given an example below.
Homura: NANI SORE?! Why isn't it me but Iroha down there?!
Homura-chan, it's too early in the story for your spoilers . . .
Homura: Okie-dokie but don't forget I'M the protagonist!
H-hai . . .

Appearance -
*Hair: Iroha's hair is a bright silver in colour and cut short with his wavy locks brushed into a high fade towards the left. His hair is always neatly brushed and looks clean and glossy but a few short strands fall over his forehead whenever he does a lot of physical activity.
*Eyes: Iroha's eyes are a cool, dark shade of blue and his eyes are medium-sized and almond shaped with short lashes.
*Skin Tone: Since he's very active physically, he has a medium-coloured tan over most of his body. However, his torso, upper thighs and lower legs are fairer due to not receiving an equal amount of sun.
*Height and Weight: 5'7' and 67 kg
*Voice: Iroha has the voice of a typical male Japanese teen - a husky undertone, casual and laidback most of the time and keeps in trend by using cool, fashionable language. He's not much of a cusser but is prone to using a lot of slang and abbreviations.
*Seiyuu: Ryota Osaka
*Body Type: Iroha is pretty muscular when compared to his peers with a wide chest, thick arms and thighs and sculpted abs. His muscles are spread equally on his body due to regulated training and the muscle seems to make his arms and legs look a little short. He has a narrow waist and a muscular back, making his figure an ideal athletic figure for most of his peers.
Special: Except for a few faded scars on his arms from fistfights against delinquents, Iroha doesn't have any signature body marks or accessories he sports.
*Dressing Style: Iroha's wardrobe mostly consists of solid-coloured athletic wear such as a lot of hoodies, tank tops, shorts, joggers and jerseys but he often alternates or matches them with laidback, casual wear such as jeans, polo tees, t-shirts, jackets etc. He likes to keep it simple but likes bright colours and solid prints. For shoes, he only wears branded sportswear, Nike being his preference.
*School uniform: Iroha wears UA's uniform neatly and with pride but often keeps the blazer buttoned open and keeps his tie a little loose. He also wears black Nike running shoes with his uniform.
Personal -
*History: Born to Fuku Shinji and Fuku Asuka, Iroha was born in a privileged household due to both his parents having prestigious, well-paying jobs - his dad was a lead designer in the famous gadget company of Hatsume Mei and his mother a popular, beautiful TV announcer. However, although he never struggled for anything, his parents were also dedicated in bringing him up in a disciplined way - they refused to spoil him and whenever he wanted a new toy or the latest Nike runners, he had to earn it by helping around the house, getting good grades or doing some good deed for the neighbours. He was sent to the well-known Himawari elementary school where it became apparent that Iroha was a rather gifted child - he was mature and sensible compared to his peers, had a lot of charisma and leadership skills over his peers and was very good at sports. From a very young age, Iroha was surrounded with a lot of attention and was always at the center of cliques. He was friendly to everyone he came across and had pretty set ideals for justice, being intolerant of any malice or unfairness before him. And then, when he received his Quirk at the age of 6, Iroha's popularity shot up to the peak - Adapt Armour was considered to be a really "cool" Quirk and one of the strongest amongst Himawari's students. He was showered with praise and admiration and gradually, it all began getting to Iroha's head. He realised he was one of the "blessed" of society but instead of festering into a contemptuous attitude towards everyone else and a giant ego, it affected him in another way. Iroha had always grown up admiring Heroes, their powers and their ideals but one incident in school cemented a child's admiration into the foundations of a growing obsession. When some of the school's fifth grader bullies began picking on and pushing around Iroha's friends to get a rise out of the star 4th grader they'd heard so much about, the ten-year old became really angry. The bullies had made one of Iroha's closest friends, a timid, nerdy boy called Tokisaki Ikuto, bleed. And then, the kid snapped.
Although he was really proud of his Quirk, Iroha had never shown it off in public except a few times in class and during physical assessments. But for the first time that day, he glared the bully leader straight in the face, smashed one of his palms against the concrete wall of the nearby school building and immediately, the hard cement broke away from the building and instead began embalming the boy's arm. Within a few seconds, Iroha's entire right arm and torso were hulked up in a crusty armour of concrete and without hesitation, he stepped forward and slammed his fist into the bully leader's stomach. The boy couldn't even scream before a searing pain exploded from the pits of his tummy, vomit sprayed everywhere and he passed out completely. His friends dispersed as quickly as a litter of rats being chased by a cat.
There was a LOT OF trouble - Iroha would've been kicked out of school if not for his friend's vouching he'd done everything in self-defense, that the act was accidental and the boys had been bullying them. Because of this, Iroha got off light on a two-week expulsion but the bully, Togashi Shinra, had to be hospitalised for the better part of a month. Instead of taking things to court, the school had decided that Iroha's parents would be paying the hospital bill for his stay and although Shinra's parents were furious, they couldn't do much because the first act of violence pointed towards their son. On his part, Iroha was grounded for a month and his parents extensively talked to him about the accident, asking if he'd done it on purpose and several other questions. But knowing very well what awaited him if he told the truth, he lied:
"I'm really, very sorry for what happened to Shinra-kun. I just wanted to give him a punch to his jaw. But I accidentally activated my Quirk." And pulled the sad face he'd made when he'd lost the annual sports award to a boy from the neighbouring class.
Convinced, Iroha's parents reasoned that there had been no real malice in the act and that the boy had only done on a moment of impulse to protect his friends. But Iroha knew the truth - his attack had been completely on purpose. Although he hadn't known Shinra would be completely knocked out, he felt no guilt or worry about it - after all, why would he for a mean, unfair, evil bully? Realising how much power and potential he heard, Iroha's number 1 goal was cemented that day - to be the next Number 1 Hero and surpass Deku so he could cleanse the world of injustice and evil. He would make the crime rate a complete zero and destroy anyone who walked down the path of evil.
Iroha began to seriously dedicate all of his time into learning and enhancing Adapt Armour, building up his body and physical attributes and learning as much as he could about Heroes and Villains. Although he graduated elementary school and joined the well-known Seika Middle School, his dreams were unperturbed. His friendly personality, good looks and great athletic skills earned him the same amount of admiration and friends in middle school. Ikuto, also having been accepted in Seika, declared he would fully support Iroha in his Hero path. They also befriended Mora Meiko, a beautiful, aristocratic-looking girl who is currently the student council president of Seika. And together, with their ideals and good Quirk skills, the three of them formed a pseudo-Hero team where they would clean the streets of any teenage delinquents causing others' trouble.
Iroha works hard every day to make this pseudo team a reality every day. That's why he and his friends are training hard for UA's entrance exams next year.
*Family: Fuku Shinji: Iroha's father, Shinji is a man who looks like a typical Japanese man in his middle ages and is of average height with receding black hair, a small pot belly and an intellectual look to him. He's a man who values knowledge and morals and wants to see Japan prosper with the help of technology and innovations. Although not a very sentimental person, he's very proud of his son and loves his family as much as any other normal man. He works as one of Hatsume Mei's lead designers in her gadget company "HatDison". Although he shares a very amicable relationship with his son, he sometimes feels his son is embarrassed of his nerdy appearance. He also seems to be a little insecure regarding his beautiful, youthful wife. His Quirk, Adhesive, is exactly what it sounds - he can secrete a strong super glue from his palms which can join anything together. He has some bad experiences regarding it.
Fuku Asuka: Iroha's mother, Asuka is a tall and beautiful anchor for the popular girl's fashion show "Teens Queen". Shinji seems to have adopted her looks the most as she has the same bright silver hair styled in a short, curly bob, a sunny smile and fair, clear skin. Asuka is a smart and cheerful woman who is well-maintained and looks more like her son's sister than his mother. She is friendly towards everyone she meets and likes to tease her son and husband a lot, being affectionate even in public. She is a little over-the-top and flamboyant with her fashion but generally means well. Her Quirk, Happy Smile, puts anyone she grins at in a happy, friendly and peaceful mood.
Lincoln: The Fuku family's energetic 6-year old male Beagle. Very curious, energetic and loud and enjoys going on long jogs with Iroha in the morning. Has a maddening love for breadsticks and is sort of whiny when he isn't pampered.
Tokisaki Ikuto: Iroha's closest and childhood friend who he saved from a bully when they were in elementary school. Although he was a timid, nerdy boy before, Ikuto changed himself after the bully incident and turned into a sassy, rude and contemptuous goth who has no problem speaking up against others and insulting people. He's very smart, however, and has a lot of knowledge about various topics due to an extensive reading habit. His lime green hair flares into a whiskered pattern to either side with messy, uneven locks falling to his eyebrows and he's described as having luminous, cat-like, silver eyes. Ikuto also always wears a red choker, even with his school uniform. His Quirk, Senseless, allows him to temporarily cancel one of the basic five senses of anyone he touches. He and Iroha are very close and he's responsible for stopping him from acting too recklessly.
Mora Meiko: A beautiful, aristocratic girl with long, black, thick hair that reaches her waist and curls upwards at the end, large crimson eyes which are always shielded by rectangular glasses and a tall, lithe figure. Meiko is the soft-spoken, well-behaved and graceful student council president of Seika Middle School whose gentle, feminine personality hides a ruthless business mind and brutal distaste for other people. Although she treats people well-enough, she tends to keep most at arm's length save for Iroha and Ikuto. She is also an extensive reader and someone who values a person's Quirk and combat skills above all else. Her Quirk, Blade Hair, allows her to lengthen and harden her hair into pointed, blade-like protrusions. She also frequently rips off some of her hair to create a rapier-like weapon for combat. She is the Hero Chewyee's niece.
*Personality: Iroha is the sort of guy who stands out in the crowd with his sunny personality, handsome features, great physique and the charisma he seems to ooze out even when he's just breathing. Friendly, kind and social with everyone, he is a person with a strong sense of morals and the ambitions to do something great for society. Having been brought up with kind, disciplined parents, Iroha is proud of himself but not spoilt or arrogant in any way and knows the value of humility and hard work. He is firmly rooted in his ideals but is broad-minded and believes that everyone has the right to follow what they believe in, provided it doesn't cause injustice to other individuals or society. Although he's someone who's pretty laid back and goes with the flow, there is one thing he's very passionate about - JUSTICE. For Iroha, the Hero society is a utopia where evil, no matter which form it takes, is always punished and no one can replace the place of Heroes in the world according to him. He's someone who greatly values those who work hard for the sake of bringing peace and security in the world and feels nothing is more important than a society where everyone is happy and content. He has distaste for anything that is even a little harmful to others and will take things into his own hands if he can help someone. He's prone to becoming reckless and impulsive when faced with delinquents or other such miscreants and often takes matters into his own hands to teach them a lesson. Although he's been told off by the police and passing by Heroes, his past has taught him a valuable lesson to holding back just enough in order to not get into any trouble.
He greatly idealises people like Red Riot, Deku, Battle Fist and Ingenium, who are very straight and clean with their ideals and behaviour but has a distaste for Heroes like Ground Zero, Phantom Thief and Mental who he thinks are not "real Heroes" because of their controversial behaviour. Although Iroha himself has a bad habit of lying to his parents for hiding his activities as someone who goes around beating up teenage delinquents, he feels like his actions are good enough to warrant his dishonesty. He is hypocritical in the sense that he puts himself above the very ideals he believes in as he's willing to be dishonest to his parents and brutal towards those he thinks are "Villains in the making", often reasoning that as long as good comes out of his bad actions, it's okay. Also, the fact that he's always been praised by his peers for standing up to bullies has made him believe that he's supposed to be some sort of Messiah or saviour who'll bring absolute peace to society. Although he doesn't really show it, he has a lot of confidence and pride in his abilities and honestly believes that he can defeat most people around his age - since he hasn't been beaten in a fight yet. Iroha has clear cut goals he's set for himself and with his hardworking personality, determination and ambitiousness, he's already made himself stand out as a top Hero candidate for the future. Although he may seem rather serious when it comes to his passions, he always enjoys a good laugh and loves puns, no matter how horrible they might be.
Habits: Lying smoothly in the name of justice and feeling no guilt whatsoever because he thinks the end justifies the means.
*Hobbies: Working out, exploring new exercise routines, stalking some Heroes on social media, keeping his YouTube fitness channel updated.
*Likes: Exercise, hard work, Red Riot, Deku, Battle Fist, healthy food (especially apples), Nike, hanging out with his friends, compliments, beating up delinquents, social events, cool weather, dogs, Keeping up with the Heroes (a weekly reality show where a popular Hero gives an insight into their daily life), pop-rock.
*Dislikes: Injustice, Villains, laziness, fatty food, Ground Zero (thinks he's not ideal enough to be a top Hero), people telling him what to do.
*Goals: To be the next Number 1 Hero and reduce all crime rate in the world to zero so that there is absolute peace. It's a lofty goal but he sincerely believes that with enough people willing to work for it, it can be achieved.
Secrets: The fact that he punched Togashi Shinra on purpose in elementary school is only known to Ikuto and one another boy who was there. And Iroha is not going to reveal it to ANYONE because he knows what kind of punishment awaits direct assault, even for a child. His Hero Licence could be cancelled.

Quirk -
*Quirk: Adapt Armour - A Transformation Quirk that allows Iroha to encase parts of or his whole body in an armour-like structure which can be made from anything he touches. He can armour himself in stone, concrete, wood and even non-tangible things like water and electricity. His armour gains the properties of the structure he copied and he can alter its density, shape and size to what he wishes - an armour of water makes him invincible even within a fire (well, until at least the water evaporates) and an armour of cement increases the damage of his physical attacks significantly (however, he must also have enough strength to wield it). This Quirk is very versatile and can be used in a lot of different situations but is also very hard to master - after all, keeping himself encased in electricity for a long time can cause his whole body to burn out or wearing an armour of stone for long can put extreme strain on his muscles.
*Hero Costume: Iroha's Hero Costume has been clearly influenced by medieval Knight Armour with some elements of dark fantasy. He wears a plain, monochrome bodysuit with a turtleneck with tight sleeves that cap mid-forearm and mid-thigh. A light black chainmail armour covers his torso with his Hero Name written on the upper center of his chest in bright white. Metallic gloves cover his hands from the tips of his fingers to the middle of his forearms, built with tensile fibers that provide extra support and security to his muscles from the harming effects of his Quirk. For footwear, he wears black and grey metallic boots with faux leather lining the foot area on the inside. This provides outer durability with inner comfort and is made of the same material as his gloves, to provide security and support to his leg muscles. Finally, on his head, he wears a square shaped Knight helmet that is black and white in colour and acts as a protective covering for his head. Although his Hero Costume looks ver
*Hero Name: Chevalier (since he wants to be known as a Knight who brings justice into the world)
*Fighting Style: Iroha is a purely physical fighter who mainly focuses on powerful, one-shot attacks, overwhelming the enemy with raw strength and aggressive offense. Since his Quirk is something heavily dependent on muscle strength, he focuses on building his body as much as he can so that it can take a lot of pressure. He wastes no time in pulling any smoke-and-mirror tactics as in most cases, he simply doesn't have the time of stalling - whenever he goes, he goes all out and will not hold back in most cases, until it is merely sparring. His main weapons are his arms and legs and he adopts a sort of street brawler plus kickboxing style, having been trained in the latter since the past three years. Although some versions of his armour allow him ranged attacks, he doesn't really focus on them. His strategy is to go head-on and with quick, strong movements, overwhelm his opponents.
*Quirk Strengths: 1.) He gains the direct and indirect abilities of whatever material he adapts. A concrete or stone armour makes his attacks that much more physically powerful and an electric armour automatically zaps anyone who comes into close contact with him.
2.) With an armour of intangible elements, like water and electricity, he can also use ranged attacks such as water blasts or thunder strikes.
3.) Iroha can adapt an armour of anything he can touch - from plastic to cloth to water to steel to even fire. He can manipulate them freely to sit over parts or the whole of his body however he wants.
4.) His Quirk is only limited by his own physical limits. While most armours are hard to use for long spans of time, armours of water, cloth, etc. can be worn by him for extended periods.
5.) He can swap between two armours pretty quickly. If he's wearing a wooden armour, he can quickly replace it with a water armour with lag of only a few seconds.
*Quirk Weaknesses: 1.) Most armours directly hurt him after some point of time. Stone and concrete may be strong and durable but put strain on the muscles if used for too long. Electricity and fire take a lot of willpower and pain tolerance to adapt since the initial seconds of adaptation make him feel the pain of getting electrocuted or burned.
2.) He cannot use his Quirk without extra triggers. Although you can easily find concrete and many other physical materials almost anywhere, Iroha needs something to adapt. He cannot adapt air or the void and some materials (soil, cloth, etc.) are pretty useless in a direct fight.
3.) He cannot adapt two different armours at the same time. If he's wearing a stone armour, he cannot wear a concrete armour at the same time.
4.) The physical weaknesses of the materials he adapts still apply to him. If he's wearing a fire armour and someone throws him in a pool, he's finished. If he's wearing an electric armour and someone throws him in a pool, he's permanently finished.
5.) He is limited by his own physical limits. Wearing any heavy armour for more than 15-20 minutes begins severely straining his muscles. For armours of fire and electricity, it begins affecting his skin and body and may even cause serious inflammation.
