Hey, this will suck. I'm probably not gonna upload for a long while. Expect nothing. Thanks and have a good day! (Please point out any mistakes I make with the format "Hey dickhead ... ")

The smell of cigarette smoke stank up a dingy, small, square room, with yellowed walls spotted with brown spots. An old desk overflowing with trinkets and discarded take-out boxes. A previously glossy nameplate laid on the floor reading "Head Researcher - Kohei Kawasaki." On top of the mess was the silver-bluish head of the "esteemed" professor Kawaski. With PhDs in both astronomy and physics, Kawasaki used to be a rising star within the scientific research community at the University of Tokyo. Due to unfortunate circumstances and clashing heads with certain high-ranking members, he'd been relocated to the Astronomical Observatory of Chiba. The observatory consisted of two desks and a sofa. A mini-fridge with a microwave rested in the corner of the room. A small orange sofa was somehow brought into the tiny "office", almost closing off the desks from the door. On the floor below was a Chinese takeout place. With only three full-time staff and almost no funding, his career was basically over.

"Professor! Professor" a loud voice yelled out. The door burst open with a powerful bang, swung wide and slammed loudly into the fridge. A younger man barrelled into the room with panic evident on his face. Kawasaki's head catapulted off his desk and he fell off his chair. He had been having such a pleasant nap as well. Picking himself off the floor, Kawasaki rubbed his face and glared at the new arrival.

"What is it Hanata?" he asked with an irritated edge to his voice. Realizing his attitude, Kawasaki quickly composed himself. His features morphed into a more neutral expression and he straightened his back. It wouldn't do well to lose the meager respect his assistant had for him. Hanata was out of breath as if he had just been running. Judging by the sweat pooling in his shirt, he probably had. A couple of breaths later, he managed to get out

"I just got a notification from the telescope"

"What about it?" Kawasaki wasn't sure what the big deal was. The giant telescope on the roof of the building periodically sends reports to both of them.

"It's different this time though. A star has come into observable orbit, specifically Messier code NK-108." The panic on his face was beginning to make sense. Messier code NK-was on the astronomics blacklist. It belonged to an MI6 contractor defector; code name: March.

"Please watch the automated doors and mind the gap. Welcome to Chiba Station" the announcement system called out as the train's doors opened. After more than 4 years away from home, Hachiman Hikigaya was back home to Chiba.

That's it for the prologue.
