Hello every one! My name is CrossAether, but being called Cross is fine! I don't really have much to say except this is my first story and I hope you enjoy the ride!

A Maelstrom's Journey

Chapter 1

Arrival

Year: XX784

Location: The Valley of Peace

You could say it was bitter irony.

Rushing water could be heard with the thunderous crack of flesh hitting flesh echoing across this valley.

Why did it have to come to this? All he wanted to do is save his friend from the Snake's hands.

Fire erupted across the water as multiple orange figures leapt towards a figure clad in blue.

Why is he doing this? Why would he give everything up just for power?

The multiple orange figures turned into smoke and only one was able to get close to the blue figure.

All the struggles they went through. Everything that they overcame! Why would he do this!

"What are you doing Naruto?"

Closely, we can now see two boys. One has wild spiky blonde hair and clad in an orange track suit with orange around the white collar and a red swirl on the back and wore clack sandals on his feet. On his head, there is a cloth wrapped around his forehead, also covering a part of his hair, with a metal insignia of a leaf on the cloth. This boy interestingly had whiskers on his face and his body seemed to have an instinct like a predator hunting a prey. But interestingly enough were his eyes; this boy's eyes were red and slitted, but they held a hint of sadness in them. His name is Naruto Uzumaki and the person he is staring at was someone he did not know what to make of.

The other boy had spikey black hair and had a similar cloth wrapped around his head. This boy wore a high-collared blue shirt with a red and white fan displayed on the back. This boy had whites shorts and also had black sandals clad on his feet. The most interesting about this boy was his eyes as they were deep red with 3 tomoe in each eye revolving around the pupil. Horrifyingly there was a black flame like tattoo sprouting across his left side of his body and seemed to be consuming him. This is Sasuke Uchiha, a fellow comrade as Naruto, but just one look in his eyes would reveal someone full of hatred and denial.

Two boys from the same village, trained together to fight as comrades, but are now fighting as if they are enemies.

"Why would you do this Sasuke?!" Naruto shouted at his former friend. It did not make sense! Does Sasuke know what Orochimaru would do to him and his body!

"Why does it matter Naruto?" Sasuke replied to him in a rising tone. "This is my chance to get back at that bastard who took everything away from me!" Sasuke harshly yelled.

Itachi…no matter what it takes, he will grow strong enough and avenge his family. Konoha doesn't need him. It would just hold him back. The seal was his key; everyone kept telling him all the negatives of this cursed seal, but all it has done was help him and grow to new heights. He needed to know more about this seal and unlock his fullest potential and finally end his traitorous brother!

"This isn't right Sasuke! Orochimaru just want your bod-"

"I don't care" Sasuke replied as he cut off Naruto's sentence. The seal was starting to act up more and more and we can now see Sasuke's skin start to darken. "I will go to Orochimaru and I don't care who stands in my way." Sasuke coldly replied to Naruto while his hands slowly starting to rise forming different hand signs.

While this is was happening, an orange aura started to leak from Naruto and his body become more and more like an animal.

"…Sasuke. " Naruto replied with hesitation in his voice. He didn't want to fight him, more the less kill him! He needs to finish this and bring him back to the village. Everyone is relying on him to bring back Sasuke and he won't let him go into the Orochimaru's hands.

A tail started to form around the lower back of Naruto and the Aura slowly starting to change into a deep red. All the wounds that Naruto received started to heal quickly and Naruto's eyes become more and more of a predator hunting their prey.

"I don't care what you think brat!" Aloud voiced boomed in Naruto's head

"You should be thanking me for helping you in this pathetic fight by just killing the traitor." This voice is from an ancient creature sealed inside Naruto's body. This being is known as the Nine-tails, a massive creature who wreaked havoc on Naruto and Sasuke's village 13 years ago.

"This spat is just pathetic! The brat has the Uchiha on the ropes and just kill him and get on with his time."The Nine-tails thought with a bored tone but had a little hint of hostility in the word "Uchiha".

'I don't care what is happening Kyuubi! Sasuke needs to get rid of that seal and I won't kill him!' Naruto replied back mentally to the Nine-tails or more often called Kyuubi. Naruto started to raise his right arm as a red claw shot from the aura surrounding his body and hovered over Naruto's right hand.

While all this was happening, Sasuke's skin had turned dark and a black mark appeared in the middle of Sasuke's face while his hair became gray. Sasuke's body started to shake as bat like wing appeared onto Sasuke's back. The more and more Sasuke was harnessing the power from the seal, the more monster like he was appearing. Even when this transformation was going on, Sasuke stopped making hand seals and a distorted sound of birds chirping could be heard with black and white lighting starting to form around Sasuke's right arm. The lighting danced around Sasuke's arm and started to grow until it was big enough to cover the right side of his body. The best way to describe this was as if a demon came straight out of hell to take vengeance on upon all those who stand in their way.

"I WON'T GO BACK TO KONOHA! I WON'T BE HELD BACK ANY MORE!" Sasuke boomed across the valley to Naruto

Air started to distort and spin in Naruto's right hand as a purple ball started to form in his hand until it grew into a size of a baseball.

"I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT SASUKE!" Naruto yelled back. Both the lighting and the ball started to glow more brightly. "I WON'T LET YOU GO TO OROCHIMARU!" With his final cry said, Naruto rushed towards Sasuke, with Sasuke doing the same thing and both threw their arms forwards.

"CHIDORI!"
"RASENGAN!"

Both attacks collided with each other and created a flash of light, but as this was going on. The air surrounding both of the boys started to glow. Not from the attacks, but from the energy coming from both of the boys. The area started to glow more and more brightly as the only thing both boys could see now was white.

BOOM!

A white dome appeared around the boys with a sound where all the people in the land could hear a loud explosion and the boys seemingly disappeared. This event would never officially have a name as no one could understand this event would be marked as an anomaly for years until it was finally solved as no one could understand where and how the explosion occurred. However, one thing was for sure, this was a sign that change was going hit the nations.

Meanwhile, a mile away from the fight 3 minutes before the collision of attacks

"Were almost there Pakkun!" A blurry figure replied racing towards the Valley of Peace. The figure wore a standard Konoha shinobi attire and had spike grey hair with a face mask covering one of his eyes. This person was the teacher of Naruto and Sasuke and his name was Kakashi Hatake and the dog next to him Pakkun. Kakashi was racing towards the Valley in a desperate attempt to help whoever was left of the retrieval team to secure and bring back Sasuke. Kakashi was able to reach to the valley right when the attacks were about to collide and who he saw fighting Sasuke was Naruto Uzumaki. Kakashi jumped from his position and climbed down the walls of the valley in an effort to aid Naruto when all of a sudden a white light flashed across his eyes and a force pushed him and Pakkun against the wall of the valley.

When the explosion subsided, Kakashi opened his single eye to see that both of his pupils….gone.

All that could be heard was the sound of rushing water coming from the waterfalls nearby as the dark clouds above Kakashi and Pakkun slowly started to light up.

"No…no, no, no!" Kakashi said quietly slowly with his voice gradually rising in denial.

"Where is Naruto and Sasuke? Could they have disappeared? No, it has only been three seconds and the explosion only pushed me back! Where are they?!" Kakashi thought frantically

Kakashi was becoming more and more worried. Did he fail again? Did he fail as not only sensei, but as a shinobi? He knew that it was wrong of him to push aside Naruto during the Chūnin Exams and solely focused on teaching Sasuke, but after fighting Itachi, he made a promise with himself to become better and help all of his students. The land that they resided in was dangerous and if he only focused on one his students…he wouldn't let what happened to Obito and Rin lead to his students receiving the same outcomes!

"NARUTO! SASUKE!" Kakashi cried out with his voice echoing across the valley as thunder could now be heard and heavy rain was crashing down upon him and his companion. Pakkun could only be silent as Kakashi started to break down and cry out in desperation.

"NARUTO! SASUKE!" Kakashi cried out one last time as tears went down the uncovered eye.

Watching from a hidden location a white and black skinned creature with a black cloak with red clouds adorned on the cloak; looked at what he has seen with shock shown across his face. A moment later the creature disappeared with no one being able to comprehend what just happened.

Sometime Later…

Location: Unknown

We are brought to a room where darkness blankets everything except the middle of the room where light shines and two figures can be seen.

"Where is he!?" a venomous voice cried out to a bespectacled person kneeling in front of him.

"I don't know what happened to the Uchiha lord Orochimaru." The bespectacled person said to the pale figure in front of him. When we look closely, this bespectacled person wore purple and gray shinobi clothes and had grey hair and white eyes with circle like glasses covering his face. This is Kabuto and the person in front of was his master.

The master could be describe as someone who had sex with a snake and gave birth to one of the creepiest anomalies in the world. The master wore yellow shinobi clothes and had a purple rope tied around his waist. He had pale white skin, long black hair and had yellow eyes that looked snake-like. The master was called Orochimaru and he is one of the most dangerous people in his land and what he currently angered about is that one of his most prized individuals that he was reported to have been on his way one of his labs, was nowhere to be seen or heard of. Honestly, he would have to bring in a few of his subjects to "relieve" the anger going through him right now.

"Send search parties near where the Uchiha was last seen and report to me where he is!" Orochimaru demanded to Kabuto who just replied with a simple, "Yes Lord Orochimaru." and vanished in a blur of speed.

Orochimaru said nothing else and just turned behind him to turn on a light to an operating table where a body could be seen with many needles filled with various substances protrude from an unidentifiable body.

Location: Konoha, Hokage Tower

The inside of this tower shows us a circular office with many widows behind a figure who was sitting near a desk with drenched Kakashi right in front of them.

"What do you mean there gone!" a female voice rang out. The owner of this voice came from a blonde female wearing a grass-green haori and a grey kimono kimono blouse with dark blue pants.

Currently Kakashi just returned to Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village) and was currently giving his report to the village leader known as the Hokage.

"I don't know what happened Hokage-sama. I made it to the Valley of Peace just in time to see Naruto and Sasuke attack each other. Naruto was using the Kyuubi's chakra and Sasuke was using the power of the Cursed Seal." Kakashi replied with an emotionless tone.

CRACK!

"Everything all right Tsunade!"

The desk in front of the female broke in half as the female stood up. When this happened, another figure entered the room. This figure had long spikey white hair tied in a ponytail, wore green and red robes and had a horned hitai-ate with the kanji for "oil" in the middle. When he entered the sound of wood hitting the ground echoed across the office as the figure was wearing wooden sandals. The most notable thing about this figure was this face where 2 red lines covered both sides of his face with each line starting from the bottom of his eyes. This was Jiraiya, one of the three Sanin and he entered when he heard something breaking.

"Nothing is alright Jiraiya." The now named Tsunade said with irritation coming out more in more as she talked. "Kakashi has just informed me that he did reach Naruto and Sasuke in time to see them attack each other, something stopped him from being able to aid the Brat."

Jiraiya only looked more and more confused. What happened to Naruto? Is he okay?

"They're gone Jiraiya-sama." Kakashi replied with a hollow voice which sounded like thunder to the other occupants in the room.

"What do you mean, "They're gone"?!" Jiraiya demanded.

"I arrived to the Valley of Peace after Pakkun navigated me there and I saw that Naruto and Sasuke were about to attack each other. I was climbing down the valley walls preparing to aid Naruto when something pushed me into the wall and all I could see was white for a few seconds. When my vision came back both Naruto and Sasuke were gone." Kakashi relayed to the Sanin.

Boom!

Silence filled the room as the heavy thunder storm boomed with a loud Thunder crack.

"Report to the other shinobi who were apart of the Uchiha retrieval team and prepare get some rest." Tsunade commanded to Kakashi who just nodded and disappeared in a swirl of leaves. Many seconds passed as Tsunade was balling her fist and just looked behind towards the storm in frustration. "Come on Brat! You told me you would make it back. I lost too many people….. please be all right" Tsunade thought to herself.

Jiraiya could only look at the ground with shock in his face.

Few Minutes Later

Location: Konoha Hospital

"How am I supposed to tell them this?" Kakashi thought as he entered the hospital.

"You're here Kakashi-sensei!"

When Kakashi arrived at the hospital where the retrieval team was located, a pink haired figure clad in red and white clothes rushed towards Kakashi with a nurse behind her.

"Was the mission a success?" The pink haired figure ask Kakashi worryingly.

This was Sakura Haruno, the last of Kakashi's students who was waiting in the hospital for her teammates Sasuke and Naruto.

Kakashi could only look at Sakura with his single eye that held an emotion she would never though Kakashi could have.

"I have to report to the retrieval team about my results, but you and the other gennin can come too." Kakashi replied tiredly.

Sakura could only look at Kakashi with confusion and worry. What happened to Kakashi-sensei and where are Naruto and Sasuke?

As Kakashi was led by the nurse to the other members of the retrieval team consisting of Shikamaru Nara, Neji Hyuuga, Rock Lee, Kiba Inuzuka, Chōji Akimichi, and Shino Aburame who were in a hospitable bed being treated for their injuries or in Shikamaru's case, talking to the shinobi from Sunagakure that aided them on their mission. There were other people there who either helped the retrieval team or were just waiting for the results of the mission. Kakashi went asked for the boys in the retrieval team's attention and prepared mentally for the fallout.

"Both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha are missing. When arrived to the scene, an explosion occurred before I could aid Naruto in his battle with Sasuke and they are now MIA."

Silence filled the room before several of the occupants started to cry out for answers that Kakashi unfortunately could not give and while all of this happened Kakashi looked at his remaining student who was at the door way with tears appearing on her face.

Even though Kakashi was drenched from the rain, a single tear ran down from his unmasked eye.

Many Hours Later

Naruto

Location: Hargeon

"H…..w….k!"

"What's going on?"

…

….

….

Naruto felt dead tired. His body feels as if he was fighting Neji all over again; at least that ended better than when he was fighting Sasuke.

…

…..?

Naruto felt a pull in his back and his upper body started to float and he could feel someone pushing his back up.

"Ugggh." Naruto groaned out as he started

"WAKE UP!"

"Ahh!"

Thud!

CRASH

Kami almighty! That was louder than when Iruka-sensei yelled at him! Naruto's eyes opened up in surprise as a loud sound came from his right ear and his right arm flung forwards towards the source of the sound. Light started to fill Naruto's eyes and a rush of sounds filled his ears as what he could see in front of him was a crowd of people staring at him with shocked looks in their eyes.

"What was that for!?"

Naruto looked to his right to see a guy with spikey pink hair coming towards him with an angry expression on his face. Suddenly, Naruto felt the weight on his back go away as he fell backwards towards the ground but did not feel any solid surface and all Naruto could see was the light blue sky with some strangely designed buildings to his left and right

"Yeah, why did you hit Natsu!?" a high pitched voiced cried out from behind and Naruto all of a sudden felt some weight on his stomach.

A few seconds later the owner of the high pitched voice came into his eyesight and it was a blue cat?

"What in the world?" Naruto thought to himself cats aren't blue and they certainly can't talk!

Somewhere back in the Elemental Nations, a blonde haired Kumo Kunoichi sneezed.

All of a sudden Naruto's exhaustion disappeared and he stood up…..a little too quickly as the blue cat was suddenly shot straight into the air. What was even stranger was that the cat grew…. wings.

"HOLY CRAP!" Naruto yelled out not noticing the pink haired guy from earlier approaching and grabbing by the collar of his jacket.

"Are you looking for a fight kid?!" The pink haired guy said lifting Naruto closer to his face.

"What do you mean? You were the one who put an alarm in my ear!"

"So you're calling me loud huh! I was just trying to wake you up!"

"Yeah, Natsu was just worried that something bad happened to you." The flying cat said has he flew closer to Naruto.

"'So this guy is Natsu." Naruto thought as he made a mental note. Before he could yell back at Natsu, multiple voices cried out:

"How could you do that to Salamander-sama!?"

"How dare you hurt Salamander-sama!?"

Multiple woman from the crowd started surrounding the two males and flying cat. The women took Naruto from Natsu and threw him to the side.

"Get out of our way!" the woman shouted and also tossed Natsu and the cat towards the side near Naruto.

"Woah!" Both Natsu and the cat cried out and both landed on Naruto.

"What's up with them?" Natsu asked his feline companion.

"I don't know Natsu, but-"

"Get off of me!" Naruto shouted as he felt the weight of a grown man thrown on him. Although, before Natsu could get off of Naruto, Naruto stood easily stood up throwing Natsu off of him. Naruto looked surprised as Natsu was thrown off of him and the cat looked at him strangely.

"You didn't have to chuck me!" Natsu yelled while getting up from the ground at Naruto with a frustrated look still on his face.

"Hey! Are you guys ok?" A feminine voice cried out towards the trio. The person in question was a blonde haired girl had a pony tail on the side of her head. She was wearing white and blue sleeveless top with a blue skirt and had a whip attached to her left side with a metal loop holding pairs of keys on her right. Her face was one of worry as she talking to the young man and kid.

"Yeah and why do you need to talk to us?" Natsu replied to the young woman.

"I wanted to thank you for freeing me from the guy's charm." The woman replied to them happily.

"Huh?" was all the trio could say.

"Let me treat you guys to some food. It's all I can do right now to say thanks."

"Okay!" Natsu and the cat replied and followed after the girl while Naruto followed them with only to ask questions about where he is. "At least I can get some food out of this." Naruto

Sometime Later at a Restaurant….

"This place freaking sucks. I mean the food here is fine and I appreciate anything, but WHERE IS THE RAMEN!?" Naruto thought to himself.

Currently, Naruto, Natsu, and the cat followed the blonde lady to a restaurant where Natsu and the cat started to order as much food as possible and to the blonde lady's disgust started to gorge themselves silly shoving whatever kind of meat and fish they can down their throats. Naruto didn't really say anything about it since he would just the same for the all might ramen, especially if it was from Ichiraku. Naruto himself just ordered some fish too as that is one the only things he could order at the moment since the menu just looked like as if Naruto tried to attempt writing in a demented form of fuinjutsu. "How can I talk to people, but not know how to read their language!" Naruto screamed in his head. "Wait, I never got the name of the nice lady and the cat!"

Just as the blonde haired lady was going to speak Naruto interrupted her.

"What's your guys' name?" Naruto blurted out a bit louder than normal gaining the attention of a few waitresses and waiters passing by. The blonde haired lady looked a little embarrassed but she was still able to answer Naruto's question.

"I'm Lucy Heartfilia" replied the now named Lucy in a kind manner.

"I'm Natsu Dragneel!" replied Natsu who stopped eating for a moment to speak to Naruto in a joyful manner almost as if none of the even before happen

"Aye! I'm Happy!" replied the cat who was munching into a small fish. "I can see that you're happy, but what's your name?" Naruto replied back to the cat.

"Ahh! My name is Happy, but will say that his fish really does make me happy!" Happy replied to Naruto in a cheerful tone and looked like he was too busy in heaven eating fish to be mad a Naruto.

"Well, I'm Naruto Uzumaki, nice to meet you guys and thanks Lucy for the free meal!" Naruto replied with a grin on his whiskered face. Natsu grinned to as the energy Naruto was giving off was similar to his own.

"So what are you guys doing in a place like this?" the lady asked the trio as they ate their food.

"Veb ger drugen tar bregon. " Natsu replied and Lucy sweat dropped at their response. Though, Lucy did turn her head towards Naruto, "Why are you here Naruto, you seemed pretty roughed up when you fell down?" Lucy asked

"What does she mean "fell"? I was fighting Sasuke when that explosion came out of nowhere." Naruto thought to himself as he was genuinely confused on what to say next until something clicked in his head. "Did you see other guy my age near me with the same hitai-ate? He has black hair shaped in a duck's ass, seems to always have a stick up his ass, and probably said, "Hnn." to you." Naruto said to the trio in front of him while trying his best to describe his teammate.

"I didn't see any one like that." Natsu said shaking his head with Happy and Lucy doing the same and slowly wincing as Naruto's entire demeanor started to change. "That can't be right, he was right next to me when that bright flash appeared!" Naruto screamed in his head.

"Is everything alright Naruto?" Lucy asked with concern displayed across her face. Natsu and Happy were about to ask Naruto more questions until Naruto just grinned at them. "Nah, everything is fine Lucy, I was just looking for my …uh, friend. Yeah, friend let's go with that!" Naruto cheerfully replied back but if one could look in his eyes more closely, they could see his sapphire orbs slowly lose some color. "Doesn't seem like you're too sure about this, "friend" of yours Naruto." Lucy replied back.

"Well, he is more like a jack ass than a friend, but we work together back at my village." Naruto replied happily while grabbing more of his fish to eat from a nearby bowl.

"What's the name of your village Naruto and did you see any dragons?!" Natsu asked excitingly with Happy joining in with hope filling their eyes.

"It's called Konohagakure and sorry, I never seen a dragon before, but I imagine they must be pretty awesome right?" Naruto answered, but after seeing their duo's reaction he tried to mention something that he always thought of as a kid on the topic of dragons. While Natsu and Happy were disappointed in that answer Natsu did grin at Naruto's reply. "Yeah they are awesome, especially Igneel!" Natsu replied back happily. It seemed that Naruto's comment about dragons lifted Natsu's spirits.

"Wait, where is Konohagakure Naruto?" Lucy asked since she never heard a village with a name like that.

"Oh it's in the center of the Elemental Nations Lucy." Naruto answered with Lucy's eyes became wide. "The Elemental Nations! But no one has ever been able to reach those lands before!" Lucy exclaimed. "What do you mean Lucy? Aren't we in the elemental nations?" Naruto asked tilting his head in confusion. Natsu and Happy did not know what either Naruto or Lucy was talking about, but was interested in discussion.

"We're in the Earth Land and if what you are saying is correct Naruto, then you are first ever person to pass the Veil!" Lucy exclaimed excitingly, but all this did was create more questions in Naruto's head. "Earth Land, Veil? What's going on here?" Naruto thought closing his eyes and putting a hand under his chin to think. "Yes Naruto, the Veil…..a fog that covers the Western seas that appeared from nowhere. No one has ever entered the Veil and came back to tell the story of their finds, but legends has it that the landmass across the Veil is known as the elemental nations, full of wondrous forms of life and treasures to find!" Lucy cried out moving closer to Naruto with an excited look on her face. Natsu and Happy were becoming interested when the mention of treasure was said. Naruto started to become increasingly uncomfortable until Lucy got a hold of herself and calmed down. As Natsu and Happy were about to ask their own questions to Naruto when Lucy replied.

"Sorry about that Naruto. I always get excited over mystical tales like that, my parents told me many stories about the Elemental Nations and I just got excited when all of a sudden someone from this "Mystical" land appeared right in front of me." Lucy asked with a smile still on her face but she looked a lot more relaxed than she did before.

"That's ok Lucy and while I do have some questions about this Veil, I need a map to know more about what you were talking about. I can talk to you later about my village and the cool thing I have seen!" Naruto replied to Lucy who just nodded and turn to Natsu and Happy. "Sorry about that, but I want thank you guys for helping with that guy back there."

"….What guy?" Natsu and Happy questioned.

"Don't you remember that guy with blue hair and loud attitude….and was also the guy Naruto flattened." Lucy replied, but had to find a way to explain in an easier way as Natsu and Happy did not seem to recognize who she was talking about until the mention of Naruto's fall from grace was mentioned.

"AH! That guy! Naruto really gave him a lesson!" Natsu replied while grinning and Naruto looked confused at what Natsu was talking about "Wait what!?" Naruto screamed internally. Natsu turned to look at Naruto with a confused expression on his face. "How did you end up falling on that guy anyways Naruto?" Natsu asked with Naruto not being able to understand how to answer that question. The more Naruto thought about it, the more he became visibly frustrated as no clear answer came to the top of his head to answer the question.

"Arggh! What happened!? I was just fighting Sasuke when that explosion socked my sight and all of a sudden I wake up with Natsu about to make me deaf." Naruto replied with Natsu yelling "Hey!" in the background, but both of the males were hushed by Lucy trying to calm the situation down.

"Everything is fine Naruto, what happened was pretty strange, but you were able to help me break free from that guy's magic, so any answer is fine with me." Lucy explained kindly to Naruto. Naruto had a questioned look on his face when he asked Lucy another question, "What do you mean by when you said magic?" Naruto asked Lucy which caused Natsu, Happy, and Lucy to look at him strangely.

"What do you mean Naruto? Have you never seen magic before?" Happy asked with a confused expression on his face when Lucy suddenly had an idea form in her head. "Of course! Naruto comes from the Elemental Nations! Maybe magic is just called something else." Lucy thought to herself as she looked at Naruto.

"Magic is the power that certain individuals are able to use Naruto and many people can use them in many different ways like for instance I'm Celestial Spirit Mage and I can summon many different creatures to this realm." Lucy explained to Naruto while pointing to the keys on her right. Naruto had an amazed look in his eyes as Lucy was talking about magic.

"She's a summoner too!? But where is the gigantic scroll and how does she use the keys and not blood?" Naruto thought to himself while Natsu called out, "Hey Naruto, I can use magic too!" Natsu exclaimed holding out his right arm as a red magic seal appeared from thin air and caused Natsu's arm to engulf in flames.

"WOAH! That's so awesome Natsu!" Naruto cried out moving closer to Natsu to get a closer look at the flames. "How can this guy light himself on fire and not get hurt? I mean, Sasuke was able to shoot fireballs, but that's nothing compared to what this guy is doing right now!" Naruto thought with awe in his eyes. Natsu grinned at Naruto, happy that this kid thinks his flames are awesome. Of course they are! Igneel taught him these flames and they are the best kind of fire out there!

"Aye, I can use magic to Naru!" Happy exclaimed with a magic seal appearing behind him and white wings shooting from his backs.

"So that's how you were able to fly back there!" Naruto exclaimed as Happy nodded with an, "Aye!" while closing his eyes and grinning at Naruto. Lucy was also surprised to see that Natsu and Happy were able to use magic as well, but it was an overall nice experience to see other mages. She turned to Naruto and asked him, "Well Naruto, can you use magic too?"

"You bet I can!" Naruto exclaimed as he stood up from the table with his arms shooting up in front of him and his fingers forming a cross seal. As Naruto was about to channel Chakra to perform his signature Kage Bushin no Jutsu, his body glowed an orange-red hue as his body started to become encompassed in a familiar Chakra, but the chakra did not stay as an aura outline as usual, but it was more flame like and caused Naruto yelp and cut off the channeled Chakra. Natsu, Lucy, and Happy were amazed at what Naruto had done, but were alarmed when Naruto yelped and turned off the energy.

"Oi! Is everything all right Naruto?" Natsu asked as Naruto just looked at his stomach in shock.

"That never happened before when I was using Chakra. " Naruto exclaimed in confusion as Lucy tilted her head and asked, "What do you mean when you said "Chakra" Naruto? Is it your magic?"

"Chakra is what I use to power my Jutsus and lets me do many things, but it was never visible or that color before." Naruto explained to Lucy, but only caused her to have more questions on her mind.

"I thought it was strange, but you also didn't have a magic seal either Naruto." Lucy told Naruto. Naruto didn't know what she was talking about at first, but came to realize that when Natsu and Happy revealed their magic, a seal appeared on the appendage they were using.

"Jutsu don't have anything like that except for maybe summoning techniques, but I know for sure Jutsus don't have seals that come out of nowhere!" Naruto exclaimed as Natsu put in his own thoughts.

"Maybe it's just something Naruto can do since he is from those Element stations you were talking about earlier and now that he is here, his magic works differently?" Natsu said.

"It's Elemental Nations Natsu, but of course! Naruto comes from a mystical land that we haven't made contact with before. Maybe magic just works differently with them." Lucy exclaimed with a satisfied look in her eyes. These beings from beyond the Veil were believed to just be mere myths that parents told their kids, but now she has an actual source. She was skeptical at first when Naruto was talking about the elemental nations, but Naruto always seemed to know what he was talking about and when preformed his own magic, what she was something nobody could do in Earth Land!

"AH!" Happy cried out with shock in his tone. Natsu, Lucy, and Lucy looked at the cat in concern when Happy said, "So that's why Naru was able to throw Natsu so easily even though he looks too short!"

"Who are you calling short cat!?" Naruto yelled. Let it be known that due to Naruto's background back in Konoha, Naruto never actually got the right balance of food as man stores and restaurants would tell him to leave or overcharge the prices on his meals. Naruto only really found comfort when the Cook/Owner of Ichiraku Ramen would happily serve the young boy Ramen at a good price. Sadly, Naruto never really told anybody about the villager's animosity towards him and Naruto only seemed to live off of ramen and the occasional food he was able to afford leading to a stunted height of 4 foot 8. Although when he arrived to Earth Land, a sudden change in his bod caused him to grow to become a respectable 5 foot, not that Naruto noticed as he is still noticeably shorter than Natsu and Lucy and it made no difference to him. Still, it was frustrating that he was one of the shortest people in his graduating class back at the Shinobi academy.

"Hey, maybe that's Naruto's magic, he's tiny, but strong!" Happy exclaimed not caring that Naruto was giving Happy the death glare.

"Naruto did throw you pretty hard Natsu. You went through three buildings!" Lucy said with Naruto looking at her as if she was crazy. "I did what!" Naruto thought. Of course he was strong! He was going to become the next Hokage, but he never thought he would achieve the level of strength that Tsunade-baachan could throw!

"Actually, Natsu?" Lucy asked. "Why did you come to Hargeon in the first place?"

"We were looking for a dragon!" they both exclaimed with Lucy and Naruto looking at them now in shock.

"A dragon?!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Aye! The magic Natsu showed earlier was a form a magic called Dragon Slayer Magic and the one who taught him this was a dragon named Igneel!" Happy exclaimed.

"Why did you think you would find something that massive in a small town like this!?" Lucy cried out still in shock. "How big is Igneel?" Naruto thought to himself as multiple images of various types of dragons flashed through his brain and if they were as big as Konoha or the size his apartment.

"Well, someone from our guild tell us that there were sightings of Igneel in this town and I was all fired up to see him again so me and Happy rushed over here!" Natsu exclaimed happily

"Guild?" Naruto asked in confusion.

"Aye Naru! Guilds make up a big portion of the work force in Earth Land. You can find a guild for pretty much anything as long as the Magic Council allows it. Guilds range from merchants, messengers, and most importantly…. Mages!" Happy exclaimed now wearing a pair of glasses with a lab coat wrapped around him. "Where did he get those clothes?" Lucy and Naruto thought.

"Yeah Naruto! Happy and I are from the strongest mage guild Fairy Tail!"

"YOU'RE FROM FAIRY TAIL!" Lucy screamed out as Naruto, Natsu, and Happy wincing at the scream.

"I guess Fairy Tail is pretty popular." Naruto replied

"GUESS!? THEY ARE THE MOST POPULAR GUILD IN EARTH LAND." Lucy cried out. "One of the people I look up to works at that guild!" Lucy exclaimed

"Well how about you come join us then Lucy? There's always room for one more!" Natsu exclaimed to Lucy while also turning towards Naruto. "You should come too Naruto! Our Guild Master is a part of the Magic Council and he's the smartest guy I know! He probably knows where tis Saucegay is and I'm sure he can help out!" Natsu exclaimed with a bright smile.

Lucy was stunned. She never thought she would meet anybody from the top guild in the Kingdom of Fiore let alone someone from said guild would find her worthy enough to ask her to join the guild.

Naruto on the other hand…..

"Hah! Saucegay! That's a great way to call that ass!" Naruto exclaimed laughing hard.

"Excuse me." A voice called out to the group.

The entire group turned to the source of the sound which came from a blue haired man wearing a dark high-collared cloak with a white shirt and red pants. This man was currently smiling at the group as he walked closer towards them. Lucy became alarmed as this man was coming closer since he was using Charm Magic not that long ago

"I was just entering this fine establishment when I overheard you guys talking about Fairy Tail." The man explained as he leaned on the table that the group were eating at. He made a small sneer as he saw the piles of food that was built up on the table, but quickly forced a smile on his face again. Naruto, Natsu, and Happy didn't really think of anything about this action, but Lucy became a little bit alerted.

"What does this guy want?" Lucy thought being cautious of whatever magic this guy might be casting.

"Yeah, and what do you want?" Natsu asked, but it did not seemed he cared about the guy who was leaning on his table as he just grabbed a turkey leg and took a big bite out of it.

"Well as a member of Fairy Tail I thought it would be best to hear out if anybody is talking bad about my guild." The man replied.

"Wow, small world. Never thought we would meet another person from the same guild as Natsu and Happy. Maybe he can talk more about this "Guild Master" Natsu was talking about earlier." Naruto thought, but before he could ask anything, Natsu blurted out,

"Never saw you before in the guild at all. Either you just joined or you were never there in the first place."

"What do you mean? I'm the popular "Salamander" that everybody in this town was talking about!" "Salamander" exclaimed with a shocked tone. "And I thought it would be nice to invite that gi- Urk!" "Salamander" said until Natsu grabbed at the collar of "Salamander's" coat with his left arm and a red magic seal flared.

"Why are you calling yourself Salamander bastard!?" Natsu exclaimed with flames starting to appear on his left arm. Happy stopped eating to look at "Salamander" with accusing eyes while Naruto and Lucy jumped in shock at Natsu's sudden outburst.

"That's because I am Salamander you buffoon!" "Salamander said with a snarl as a purple magic seal formed in the air and purple fire was shot at the group.

Out of instinct, Naruto grabbed onto Lucy and jumped to the side, but crashed into the wall of the restaurant like a bullet being fired from the gun. Lucy cried out in shock, but was relatively unharmed as Naruto was the only one to hit the wall as his body cushioned Lucy's impact. Smoke formed at where "Salamander" launched his magic.

As soon as magic was being released, Workers and diners of the restaurant fled to the outside with many people pushing each other to exit through the single door.

"See brat?! I am the legendary Salamander and-"

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

WHAM!

"Salamander" was cut off from what he was saying as a flamed covered fist socked him in the stomach launching him off the ground and sailing into the air until Newton's First Law came into effect, as he crashed into the wall opposite of Natsu. Naruto grabbed Lucy again and leapt away from the sailing body to the other corner of the same wall, but he did not crash into anything this time. Natsu appeared from the smoke, but his red coat was the only thing that was damaged. His white checkered scarf was still okay. Natsu proceeded to throw his damaged coat aside and revealed an undamaged sleeveless black and gold-trimmed waistcoat that was left opened revealing his bare chest. He wore white trousers and black sandals, but on display for the whole world to see was a red tattoo on his right shoulder.

"Naruto and Bucy are you okay!" Natsu cried out to where he last saw the duo.

"I'm fine." "My name is Lucy!" Naruto and Lucy cried out at the same time

Naruto was actually unharmed as the impact the wall did not hurt him one bit to his shock. Even when Lucy crashed into him; Naruto barley felt it. "What's going on? I didn't even channel Chakra!" Naruto thought to himself. He was never this fast and Lucy felt very light to him, this never happened before so how the hell did he become faster and stronger.

"What do you think you're doing!?" Salamander snarled at Natsu before he created another magic seal to launch another attack.

"Natsu is the real Salamander you dummy!" Happy explained as he was flying near the ceiling of the destroyed restaurant holding one of the few remaining intact bowls containing fish.

"What!?" the fake "Salamander" screamed. Natsu was looking at him closely before he widened his eyes in realization.

"You're not in Fairy Tail! You were from the Titan Nose guild and was banished for starting a gang and using your magic to rob people!" Natsu blurted out.

Multiple footsteps could be heard as around 5 men appeared near the entrance of the restaurant.

"Bora!"

"Are you okay boss!?"

"What happened Bora!?"

Were just some of the many cries that the men were giving to the fake "Salamander" now named Bora.

"Don't use my name you dolts!" Bora cried out to the thugs before turning his attention to Natsu.

"Great, now I have to get rid of all you guys, leave it to my men to screw this up!" Bora yelled. As he launched an attack at Natsu.

"RED SKULL"

A purple sphere of fire that looked similar to a cartoonish skull was fired at Natsu, but Natsu seemed to grab it to everyone, but Happy's, shock and proceeded to eat the flame right in front of Bora.

Munch! Munch!

"What the hell!?" Bora exclaimed shocked that his powerful flames were being eaten right in front of him.

"Don't worry Bora, if magic can't hurt him, them how about this!?" one of Bora's henchmen cried out pulling a gun from his side an aimed it at Natsu.

"Oh no you don't!" Naruto exclaimed rushing towards the guy with the gun in a red and orange blur as Naruto Channeled chakra for his signature technique.

"Kage Bushin no Jutsu!" Naruto cried out but instead of the usual puffs of smoke, three red explosions appeared behind Naruto with a loud bang damaging the area around them. Three identical people that looked like Naruto appeared from the explosions and rushed towards the man with the gun.

"Wha-"the man holding the gun was about to cry out if it was not for Naruto who dealt a harsh uppercut to the stomach and launched him high in the air hitting the ceiling.

WHAM!

Another Naruto appeared and kicked him down to the ground hard where the other two remaining Nartutos were waiting and caught the man in midair.

CRAAAAAAAASSSSSHHHH!

And proceeded to throw him to the ground actually burrowing the man back first into the ground with spit flying out of the man's mouth before he lot consciousness.

"Holy CRAP!" one of the four remaining men cried out but before he could do anything, the original Naruto socked him in the head knocking him out of the fight with the other clones either: Jab a man in the stomach, right hook another man, and slamming the last man into one of the few intact tables breaking it in half.

"How is this possible?!" Bora cried out while Lucy looked at the fight in awe. She has never seen people eat magic before, and a kid who was barely in their teens defeat 5 grown men in less than 10 seconds.

"Need some help kicking this guy's ass Natsu?!" Naruto shouted at Natsu who finished eating the remains of Bora's magic and grinned.

"AWWW YEEAHH! I'M ALL FIRED UP! Don't worry Naruto I can finish this bastard in one strike!" Natsu exclaimed with a toothy grin to Naruto as he built up air in his mouth. Naruto just grinned back while Happy grabbed onto Lucy and flew her towards Naruto to get her away from Natsu's attack.

"I bet your wondering, "What's going on?" Naru and Luvy?" Happy exclaimed excitingly to Naruto and Lucy after setting the blonde girl down. Lucy got mad at Happy who also said her name wrong on purpose. Naruto shook his head excitingly as Natsu stopped sucking in air.

"Natsu was trained but Igneel to use magic that would let him slay dragons! Whenever he uses his magic, a part of him also turn into a dragon to make him even stronger!" Happy joyfully said as the attention was put back onto Natsu now cupped his hands together near his mouth with a red magic seal appearing in front of him. Even with all the preparation, this took only about 5 seconds to prepare as Bora was still as a mouse. Bora was stuck in place in fear before his brain finally kicked in and a circle of purple flames appeared around his feet.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Bora cried out, but before he could use his magic to get him out of this FUBAR of mess, Natsu released his attack

"FIRE DRAGON'S ROAR!"

WOOOOSH

A massive stream of flames shot out of Natsu's mouth and flew at alarming speeds towards Bora who could not make it out in time.

BAM

The stream of hot flames impacted Bora and shot him straight out of the restaurant leaving a gigantic hole in the side of the building.

"That was much better than what Sasuke could ever do!" Naruto thought excitingly as he looked at Natsu in awe. Lucy was surprised too at the amount of power behind Natsu's attack.

"And that's what the real Salamander can do!" Natsu cried out to the massive hole in the wall, but there was no reply from Bora. It seemed that Bora was launched out of the restaurant and crashed into another building, but was miraculously still alive, but most of the bones in his body were destroyed.

"That was so awesome Natsu! You got to teach me that!" Naruto exclaimed. "Sorry Naruto, Igneel only taught me, and he only wants me to know it." Natsu said. Naruto was only sad for a moment, but at the same time this new strength, durability, and speed was awesome.

Stomp Stomp Stomp!

Noises of marching could be heard and Happy took a quick look outside after noticing the noise and came back in with a frightened look on his face.

"Natsu! The Rune Knights are coming!" Happy cried out. Natsu and Lucy froze at Happy's cry with Naruto and his clones gaining a confused face. Natsu's demeanor was fearful since he caused a massive amount of damage again, while Lucy was afraid of what the Rune Knights would do to them.

"Crap! Come on Lucy and Naruto we got to run!" Natsu said as he grabbed Lucy and beckoned the Narutos to follow him. The original grabbed onto Happy and pulled the cat towards him.

As they got outside, multiple guards spotted the group.

"Stop right there criminal scum!" One uniquely armored knight said as the other knights looked at him as if he was crazy. They knew this guy was overly excited with his work, but they didn't know if these people were criminals.

"You'll never take us alive!" Natsu shouted at the knights who started chasing after the group. Though a few knights did go back into the restaurant to check on the destruction.

Naruto beckoned his clones for his one of his ultimate techniques as the clones stopped running with the group and prepared for army stopping technique.

"Oiroke no Jutsu"

Naruto did not look behind him but multiple sounds of guards falling to the ground could be heard. Natsu and Lucy on the other hand…

"Holy crap Naruto! Great job at taking out the guards!" Natsu yelled with a tooth grin.

"What the hell Naruto!?" Lucy cried with an atomic blush on her face.

Naruto looked at the duo and just grinned with Happy doing the same thing. As they were running. Natsu yelled for Naruto and Lucy's attention.

"So you guys still want to come to Fairy Tail?" Natsu asked the both of the blondes.

"Of course Natsu!" Naruto exclaimed

"I always dreamed of joining the guild Natsu. You already know my answer." Lucy said with a smile.

Everybody smiled as they ran towards the across a hill and fade into the background.

This event was never to happen, but a certain hyperactive knucklehead of a shinobi made it happen. All that can be said now is that Naruto will face many challenges meeting new and old faces. There will be adventures to be told! Friendships to be made! Love will Bloom in the air!

Holy crap that was long! Right now I am currently sitting at 35 pages and I never thought I would ever be able to write my own story! Either way, thanks for reading the first chapter. I had a lot of fun thinking of scenarios and what I can change for each character, setting, and story as I keep writing more and more.

To any of those who is questioning if Naruto is any way different before this story then:

Nope.

This is as close to Canon as possible Naruto before he arrive to Earth Land except for how the villagers treated him. He was never physically abused, but the villagers would do things like kick him out of stores or overprice him due to the Kyuubi situation. Naruto did gain some new thing when he arrive to Earth Land, but that will be explored deeper into the story. I like to hear what you think happened to Naruto and why he seems more enhanced.

I created this story out of love for both Fairy Tail and Naruto. I grew up with these series and enjoyed them fully….except for some parts, but I will get into that later. I read so many fanfics where Shippuden or Godlike Naruto was thrown into the world of Fairy Tail, or Naruto was born in Earth Land, but there never was really any Part 1 Naruto in any fanfics I read and if he was used, he would be thrown into later arcs like the Oración Seis arc and it kind of made me wonder what I can do with my own version of Naruto where he is thrown at the start of the main story, but grows and matures through his experiences with the inhabitants of Earth Land.

Another thing to note is that there is no betrayal from the other shinobi back in the elemental nations where they secretly hated Naruto causing Naruto to never want to go back or just killing them in some fanfics. In fact, I want to explore how the shinobi felt about Naruto with their natures, personalities, overall view on him. No one actually hated him and I read way too many betrayed Naruto fics to now just be tired of them.

Well I hope I can do this story justice and create an experience that you guys will love.
