Baths

She didn't want to say she was bored but she was bored. There were only so many times she could listen to Dolcetto complain about Roa's cooking until she lost her mind. Staring blankly at the table as Martel joined the argument, she didn't notice Greed until he dropped a heavy book on the table. Blinking at the brown cover she tilted her head curiously. After two days of being completely bored, she had no idea what he wanted her to do with the book.

"It's on Alchemy, you have two weeks to memorize them, after that I'll give you a test," he stated causing her eyes to widen. He didn't tell her how it had taken hours for the book to arrive along with Martel's bath salts and bubble bath. It was horrifying how annoyed she got after a while without them. He'd also bought some for Aria although hers was mint-scented rather than Martel's rose. The snake chimera was going to explain them to her though.

Laying a hand on the cover, she opened the book slowly. The dark words on the page seemed to mock her but she only narrowed her eyes. Nodding sharply, she straightened before picking the book up off the table. If this was what he wanted for taking her in, then she would accomplish this task. Rushing off to her room, she didn't notice the glances exchanged by the Dolcetto and the others or the smirk on Greed's face. Laying the book on the desk, she sighed before diving in.

By the time Martel came into her room she'd gotten through a quarter of the book and her head was swimming. Marking her page, she winced a bit as she looked up at the woman. There was a basket of bathing supplies in the woman's arms and she had no idea what she wanted. The large grin on her face was slightly worrying, but she stood when the woman wanted her too. Following her from the room she tilted her head in confusion when the woman started explaining about bubble baths.

Although she already knew what they were, Aria decided that indulging the woman was a better idea. It had always been easier to simply let someone talk until they ran out of things to say. Besides, bubble baths had never been something she was allowed to have. Wasting water just so she could play in a tub was a horrifying thought to her relatives. Hence why she had no idea what to do when Martel brought her right to a large bathtub filled with bubbly soapy water. Looking up at the woman in surprise she felt out of place especially when the blonde mentioned that Roa had gone out to find her pajamas and that Dolcetto had helped.

What did they want from her? They had to want something or they wouldn't be doing this. Stiffening when Martel smiled at her and patted her on the head, she felt her lips twitch downward. She was able to fight off the frown, but she had no idea what to do when Martel left the bathroom and shut the door behind her. Was this a trick? Turning her attention back to the tub, she hesitated. There was no reason for them to trick her which left the chance that this might be real.

Shooting down the instinctive urge to call this nothing but a cruel prank, she slowly walked to stand beside the tub. Being this close she could smell the scent of mint almost wafting off the water. Reaching down warily she brushed her fingers across the bubbles her eyes widened at the almost fluffy feel they had before she twisted to look at the door. A large part of her expected Martel to come back in announcing that it had all been a trick but she didn't. Was this not a trick? Biting her lip to keep herself from making a noise she gently touched the water as if it was going to lash out at her.

It was warm. A welcoming sort of warmth that she hadn't expected. Resisting the urge to pull away and hide in the corner she slowly tugged off the oversized blue shirt Roa had given her; they were supposed to go clothes shopping tomorrow. Hesitating she threw another glance at the door before slowly stepping into the tub. Being cocooned in warm water up to her shoulders was weird especially since it was warm not the fridged cold of the showers she'd taken before.

Soft air like bubbles brushed against her skin causing an unexpected giggled to leave her lips. On instinct, she covered her mouth and looked over at the door only for nothing to happen. Shoulders slumping as she finally relaxed, Aria took a moment to close her eyes before sinking fully into the water. She'd never gone swimming before, unless being almost drowned by her cousin counted, so having her head submerged in water was a little scary. Holding her breath and just feeling the water brush over her face made her feel relaxed too. It was almost like nothing scary could find her.

Coming up for air, she allowed a small almost invisible smile to cross her lips. It wasn't a trick. They weren't going to punish her for taking a bath which was strange enough but the sudden feeling of joy wasn't something that could be ignored either. Cupping water in her hands she tossed it into the air only to laugh when it fell right back down on her head. For a moment she froze shocked that a sound like that had left her body then she giggled.

(Martel)

She would've been worried if not for the laughter coming from the bathroom. It had been easy to tell that the girl was overwhelmed; not just by the last day which had left them all scrambling, because who knew what to do with a kid, but also because she had no idea how to deal with being cared for. Even the moment Roa had her sit down to eat breakfast had confused the child. Now getting to take a bath was apparently also new to her. As a soldier, Martel had done some horrible things but seeing a child afraid to accept simple human kindness made her stomach twist.

Now sitting outside the bathroom just listening to the girl laugh and splash in the water was far better than she thought it would be. To be honest, she'd never thought of having children, they were just too fragile for their world, but hearing Aria happy did make her feel warm. Sighing she tensed when a chuckle reached her ears. The amused sound was almost taunting, but looking over at Greed she didn't see anything mocking in his expression.

"She's having fun," he said the tone dripping with amusement.

"Yeah."

The loud shriek that was followed by wild laughter caused them both to smile. It had been easy for them to notice just far from normal her small frame and apathetic nature was. Still despite how much they wanted to help her, Aria would never be a normal child. Having Greed as her patron would be nothing but trouble especially since they couldn't actually send her to school. None of them were scholars so she would have to self-study. More than that their lives were dangerous. She and the other chimera were fugitives and Greed was… Greed so there was no chance she would stay safe.

Having her learn to defend herself would be all too important. Watching her boss head back to his room with what seemed like a permanent smile, she knew that Aria would be good for him. He might care for them but on some level, he knew that they didn't actually need him. This girl needed him; being needed was an almost intoxicating feeling. Leaning against the wall she closed her eyes. There was no chance that Aria would be done soon.

(Aria)

After what seemed like forever, it was an hour, she finally stepped out of the bath. The fluffy towel that had been laid out for her was a different type of warmth. Rubbing her cheek against the fabric she giggled sounding more like a child than she ever had. Was this what it felt like to be happy? Looking toward the clothing that Roa and Dolcetto had picked out for her, she moved to study them. Some were bright yellow and others had little puppies on the fabric. There was one set of simple pajamas that were a dark purple, the same color as Greed's eyes. Reaching out slowly she laid a hand on the fabric; it was soft like touching a cloud.

Getting dressed slowly she didn't care about her wet hair until she was standing in front of the mirror. Laying a hand on the damp strands that were quickly soaking her top, she faltered. These clothes actually fit. They weren't some oversized hand-me-downs that were already half-ruined. Roa and Dolcetto had picked them out just for her. Why couldn't her relatives have done the same? These people didn't even know her and they were treating her better than her own flesh and blood had. Why?

Pressing a hand against her stomach she clenched her fingers around the fabric as her throat burned. It wasn't fair that they didn't love her. Closing her eyes as she reached out to grab the sink, she couldn't hold back a whimper. Scolding tears stung the corners of her eyes but she refused to allow the sob building in her throat to escape into the world. Releasing her shirt, because it was hers, to cover her mouth the girl sank to her knees with the weight of the world bearing down on her shoulders.

Alchemy and Ice Cream

Sinking into the large chair in Greed's office made her feel as if she would be swallowed by it. After two weeks studying the large book, he'd given her she had no idea how to react to him saying he was going to test her on it. Would she be punished if she failed? Although she was sure that she'd memorized it, there was part of her that worried it wouldn't be good enough. Watching him watch her, she felt like prey. Shifting nervously she almost flinched when he grinned; the expression was full of teeth.

Hearing him fire off a question, she jolted before saying the first answer that came to mind. The bright words of praise he gave her meant she'd gotten it right. Relaxing slightly she fell into the rhythm of answering his questions despite how sweaty her palms were. It helped that every time she got it right, which was every question, he praised her. Slowly she grew more confident in her answers even as the questions got harder until she was eagerly telling him her thoughts about the book instead of waiting for his questions.

Leaning forward in the chair she didn't notice his grin change to a gentle smile as she told him about a passage she found interesting. She didn't realize she was brilliant. Every word felt charged with enough energy to power the building and she didn't even notice that she was happily speaking. His Alchemist had definitely passed this test. The girl had even developed what seemed to be a passion of Alchemy that every Alchemist needed. Watching her closely her noticed that her apathetic expression had faded warming her eyes.

At this moment she looked like a child talking about her favorite food. The animated movements and brilliant expression were all it took to make his resolve crumble. She was definitely going to stay no matter if she was able to use Alchemy or not. How could someone have hurt such a bright child? The pools of joy that were her blue eyes made him remember a lake as she almost bounced in her seat. A kitten. She was a fragile kitten with innocent eyes.

"What kind of ice cream do you like," he asked when she finally took a breath. When her eyes widened in confusion he wondered if she had even heard him then she shook her head slowly mumbling something about not having tried it.

Her caretakers had been monsters. Who doesn't give children ice cream? Quickly ordering her to follow the man barely waited until she could pull on her shoes before stalking from the room. He didn't even bother to hide the way his jaw clenched or how his eyes narrowed. The chimeras were smart enough to practically jump out of his way as Aria trailed behind him with wary eyes. Their whispers reached his ears but he didn't care as he reached the door to the bar and stopped.

Aria froze at his outstretched hand. Staring at it for a long moment her initial thought was that it was a trick, then she shoved it down. In the two weeks, she'd been here none of them had harmed her unless cuddles from Dolcetto counted. She didn't think he would hurt her now. Hovering her hand above his own she felt her fingers twitch at the instinctive urge to draw back, instead, she laid her hand in his. His grip was gentle despite the fact he could crush her hand easily. Trailing behind him as he led her out of the building, she glanced around a people shifted in the shadows moving as if they were part of them.

Some of them met her eyes while others turned their heads away unwilling to even glance in their direction. It was strange. Was Greed that dangerous? When he was putting a bowl of vanilla ice cream in her hands ten minutes later, she decided that he wasn't dangerous to her. The shop owner, of course, had decided to hide behind his counter the instant he saw the man but she didn't care about that. Throwing him a wary look as he sat down with his own bowl she took a small bite.

If there was one thing Greed had learned over his years alive it was how to read people. Seeing Aria's eyes widen as a delighted sound echoed around her, he couldn't hold back a chuckle. The fact she dove into the bowl with renewed energy was enough to drown out the concerned whispers of the other customers. He'd heard more than one person worry that he'd kidnapped the girl; did he really look that much like a kidnapper? He didn't want to know the answer to that. Deciding that ice cream outings would be a weekly thing, he smirked when she finished her own bowl and gave him a pleading look.

Question

As a rule, Aria had learned never to question her relatives, it never led to anything good. So, why had she opened her mouth to argue with his decision? Shrinking under his gaze as the man studied her, she considered trying to sink into the floor, she was sure that if she tried hard enough it would happen. Even the others had turned to look over at them although she herself didn't lift her gaze from the floor.

He'd just told her not to practice Alchemy on her own and simply study the theory. There was nothing wrong with that, he was simply concerned about her. She knew that, but she'd still asked him why. These people had been kind to her and she'd just ruined that by being stupid. Clutching the book in her hand tightly, she waited for him to snap at her because that was how this went, wasn't it? She was meant to follow his orders not question them that was the only reason he let her stay.

His hand barely brushed her head before she flinched away only to freeze when he simply laid his hand on her head. The amused laugh that left his lips scared her slightly as well but she pushed down her fear. Greed's touch was gentle like he was afraid anything else might break her, which was probably true. Suffering through him ruffling her hair she didn't notice the shared grin that the others had or the way Martel relaxed.

"How about you wait until you master theory to ask me about learning the practicals," he teased. Internally he was just happy that she was comfortable enough to even ask him questions. Feeling a grin pull at his lips he said, "You can always ask me things no matter what."

Listening to him speak, she felt warm. Although she might not trust him, she did know that he wouldn't hurt her for asking questions. Well, she knew that now, although she had no idea why he was being so kind to her. It wasn't normal was it to simply take in a random child? She was worried that he would cast her out, but thinking about it wouldn't help her at all. Staring up at him, she followed him with her eyes as he walked back to his office muttering something about contacting someone under his voice.

Jolting as Dolcetto grabbed her shoulders, she bristled almost like an offended cat. The fact he mentioned combat training caused her to pale and tighten her grip on her book. Throwing a pleading look in Greed's direction she held back a whine as the man began dragging her to the room they used for training. Digging her heels into the floor she huffed when Martel laughed at her expression. From the bright way, the woman gushed that they were doing weapon maintenance she wanted to cry.

Hours later when she curled up on Greed's couch under a fleece blanket with her sketchbook, a gift from Rao, in her lap she felt both exhausted and relaxed. The tapping of his pen was soothing although she had no idea what he was doing. Glancing up at him she carefully filled in the sketch she'd drawn earlier of the bar, there was so much about him that she didn't know. Like why he felt different than other humans or how he'd come to run a bar in the middle of the Dublith criminal underground. She doubted he would tell her mostly because she wouldn't ask. Turning her attention back to her sketchbook she resolved to ask him one day.

State Alchemist

There came a time in a person's life where watching someone get tossed was no longer surprising. Given that it was Dolcetto, which she already had several sketches of him being thrown around, she wasn't very surprised. What did catch her attention however was the man doing the tossing. He was tall, almost the same height as Greed, with dark green eyes and black hair. It was the Alchemy circles on his armored gauntlet that let her know he was an Alchemist even before Greed told her that he would be her teacher. His circles were a variant of the Water Alchemy circles although they seemed to have some personal touches.

"I'm Issac Macdougal the Freezing Alchemist," he said waving off Greed's attempt to introduce him. The offended expression on the man's face did nothing to stop Issac from holding out his hand.

Looking at Greed for a moment the eleven-year-old considered the situation. She'd spent four years with the violet-eyed man and knew him well enough that she could tell he didn't trust Issac. If he showed that any more clearly he would be baring his teeth at the man. However, he'd also brought this man here to teach her meaning that there was some level of trust between them. Or they each needed something from the other. She could tell that the only reason Issac was here was that Greed hadn't found someone better and Issac no doubt needed something from Greed.

"Aria," she introduced as she shook his hand. At least he didn't immediately try to crush her hand or anything. Instead, he narrowed his eyes in thought before shrugging and releasing her. The fact he put at least four feet of distance between them might've been due to Dolcetto finally making his way off the floor in time to growl at the man. Lips twitching upward she allowed a small smile to appear on her face despite the amount of tension in the room.

Snapping to attention as Issac began quizzing her on Alchemy she answered his increasingly difficult questions. The way his eyes widened slightly told her that he hadn't expected her to know anything at all. A warm chuckle from Greed caused pride to flash in her eyes as Issac ran out of questions to ask her and began telling her about elemental Alchemy more specifically the Water Alchemy he used. Tilting her head in curiosity, she barely noticed the suddenly horrified glance shared between Roa and Dolcetto when he mentioned ice.

Training

History wasn't boring exactly but there was so much more she could be doing with her time than learning about something that she would never use. The only good thing about the situation was that her history and military classes only happened once a week. The fact he described the horrors of Ishval in insane detail didn't help her learn any quicker, but it did make her more interested in other State Alchemists. She'd spent a year training with Issac to the point where she could make ice out of the moisture in the air, but only for small things. A week ago Greed had told her about him being a Homunculus because apparently she was old enough to handle it course it didn't help that the second he did Roa had the bright idea to smash his head. In response, she might've instinctively thrown an ice needle at his face hence why she was grounded right now. It wasn't her fault, she'd panicked.

Being grounded simply meant no ice cream trips for a while, but given that Greed had heard rumors his siblings were acting up she doubted they would've been able to go get ice cream anyway. Idly answering Issac's question she didn't notice his smirk until he tapped her on the head. She most certainly did not pout when Greed chuckled at her insulted expression. Sitting up she huffed only to brighten when he mentioned practical practice. Standing she followed him to the training room.

So far, she'd learned to fight with daggers and swords rather than guns, in fact, there were no guns in the entire building since they affected the chimera's sense of smell. Daggers were preferable to swords; no matter what Dolcetto said. They could be hidden easier and took less time to create although needles were the fastest. Dolcetto whined whenever she decided to shower him with needles during their spars. She personally thought he was being childish; especially since it took him less than five seconds to demolish her needles. Martel had also taught her basic battlefield first aid in case she ever got hurt, she was the most fragile person here. Despite that, she'd managed to scratch Dolcetto during their training mostly because he'd slipped on ice and scratched himself but she was taking the win anyway. Looking at Issac she briefly wondered what they were going to do before ducking to avoid the kick he aimed at her head.

Leaning against the wall, Greed watched the two with narrowed eyes. Aria's birthday was in two days; it hadn't been easy at first for her to even tell them if she had a birthday. She'd be turning thirteen and Issac had the idea in his head that she would be ready to surpass him in terms of skill soon. There was also the fact Issac would be leaving soon. The deal they'd made would be running out soon and although he hated losing such a valuable Alchemist Aria was skilled enough to replace him. She'd grown a lot over the last few years but not just in skill. She had become a brilliant girl who was strong enough to protect herself. However, he also knew that she was still no match for his siblings.

When Issac returned to Central he would die, it was a fact that they both knew, however, the man wasn't willing to stay. He was too stubborn to allow this country to fall apart when he could save it even if he had no chance of winning. The man had already been offered a place here and a promise of safety but Issac wanted to go to war. There was a longing of battle in him that cried out for justice for the horrors of Ishval despite how foolish it was.

That night when Issac announced that he had nothing left to teach her, Aria froze. The knowledge that he was just going to leave after almost two years was horrifying despite the gratification she had from his approval. Having Greed preen like a peacock beside her didn't help at all either. While amusing watching him almost buzzing with pride was weird although Issac found the expression annoying if the outright hostility in his gaze was any indication. She just really hoped that this didn't dissolve into another frozen room situation because while cool, there was only so much that could be done to fix water damage.

"Can you leave the room so that I can talk to my student," he asked instead of freezing over the room as he had a month ago.

Greed frowned his eyes flickering between the two Alchemists as he considered Issac's thinly veiled warning. Part of him wanted to immediately refuse because Aria was his, but he shoved that instinct down. It was just Issac; the man would never hurt her. There was also the fact that if he left now, he would have the chance to put Aria's gift in her room before she realized that he'd gotten her anything. Along with the gifts from Dolcetto and the others. Even Bido had managed to get her something for what amounted to her graduation.

"Only because you're leaving soon," he stated. The annoyance that flashed in the other man's eyes almost caused him to chuckle. It was always fun messing with Issac even if the man hated him.

Ruffling Aria's hair, which didn't cause her to flinch anymore, he escaped the room to tell the others. Watching him go the girl raised an eyebrow at his action but quickly turned her attention back to Issac when he huffed.

"I hate him. I completely and totally hate him. He's worse than Kimblee," the man complained as he ran a hand through his long loose black hair. He sounded more resigned to that fact than truly angry. A slight smile pulled at the corners of her lips but quickly faded when he returned his attention to her as he said, "moving on, you've mastered everything I have to teach you. The only thing you really need is experience and I'll be leaving soon."

"Why," she asked resisting the urge to cross her arms. She didn't want him to leave especially not when she had a feeling that she would never see him again. Ignoring the amused look that crossed his face she said, "Greed said you could stay."

"And if I did I could be reasonably happy, or we would kill each other within another year," he stated. The fact it was true didn't make her any more keen on him leaving. Sighing as if he was exhausted he said, "I have some unfinished business. Anyway, this is for you."

Catching the box he tossed in her direction she opened it slowly a little shocked to find a matching set of black bracelets sitting inside. Picking one of them up slowly she ran her eyes over the hanging pendant in the shape of an Alchemy Circle. It was one of the more advanced general forms that he'd had her study before teaching her Water Alchemy. Just looking at the one still laying in the box she could see that its pendant was for Water Alchemy. The skittish part of her wondered why he would give her something like this but she knew that he did care about her even if he didn't show it.

"Are you sure you won't stay," she asked softly. The amused slightly sad smile that he gave her hurt. Shifting nervously as he patted her head before leaving she frowned. He wasn't going to stay that was obvious. Putting on the bracelets she sighed unwilling to allow herself to cry. The bracelets would match perfectly with the Alchemy gloves Greed had made for her; she blamed Issac for telling him about Mustang's gloves.

Beginning of the End

Her time in Dublith wasn't anything like Pivot Drive. The streets were dark and filled with criminals and everyone always looked out for themselves; unless they held some sort of power in the city. Of course, she never strayed too far from the bar and even then her escort always kept her safe, usually Bido. Dublith was filled with criminals but it was safe. Of course, the first time she'd gone out on her own was to go get her Alchemy tattoos, he'd finally deemed her strong enough to leave home but that wasn't the only reason she got to leave alone. Apparently, Greed had a plan in progress that he wanted her to be away from the base for. She figured it was a reckless plot or scheme, hence why she'd left home alone at eight in the morning to get a tattoo; Roa had been carrying a suit of armor into the bar when she'd left. She guessed it was something to do with why Greed wanted her out of the bar today.

Samson was the resident Tattoo artist, a lean young man at least two feet shorter than Greed, he was really good at what he did. She hadn't even had to lie about her age, because he didn't care; it was refreshing. In truth, the hardest part of the whole process was choosing an ink color for her tattoo, she'd taken over an hour to pick much to Samson's amusement. Black was too plain and while blue was her favorite color, in the end, she'd picked the same shade of purple as Greed's eyes.

With the circle for Water Alchemy was now tattooed on both hands in purple; she'd been so happy that she'd hopped around the shop for five minutes. Samson had even taken pictures much to her embarrassment; they were now stuffed in her bag. The circles were amazing and she was so happy that she almost couldn't breathe. Her ability to push away pain meant she didn't even feel the pain at all. With the alchemy circles on her hand, she didn't need her gloves or bracelets, but she was still going to keep them. While she usually stayed calm and distant, she was very excited to show Greed her tattoo.

Now all she had to do was walk back to the bar with her hands covered in bandages. Of course, wearing her gloves helped keep the bandages hidden so did the fact her hoodie sleeves reached her fingertips. She didn't quite know why but she'd had a sinking feeling in her stomach since she'd left the Tattoo shop. There were a lot of military personnel around today too, much more than normal. The number of soldiers made her uncomfortable; all the chimeras were fugitives of the military. Did the horrible feeling she has all day have something to do with the number of soldiers?

Still, if she sped up in order to reach the bar, she would draw attention, so she was stuck walking slowly. It was hard to keep from biting her lip in worry as she passed more and more soldiers. What if something horrible was happening at the bar? Feeling an initial rush of anger she knew that freezing them completely in place would be more dangerous and draw all their attention. She didn't want anything to happen to Greed or the others.

While she was a child she doubted the military would be forgiving if they found an Alchemist working with the only traitorous Homunculi, especially since the creator of the Homunculi controlled the military. From what Greed had told her his creator was very dangerous and ruthless. That was why the moment she realized the military was converging on the bar, she'd frozen. She wasn't a fool, she knew that if found the chimera would be killed if they were found. No matter how good of an element of surprise she had beating a full brigade of soldiers wasn't possible.

Taking a back street, she vanished into the dark alleyways in order to avoid the military. Walking quickly she noticed the glances from the other criminals; she didn't need to look to feel their pity. Everyone knew about the little girl that followed around Greed like a lost puppy, they were just too afraid of the man to call him on it. Finally making it back to the bar she didn't know how to react to the number of cars outside the bar. She had no idea what to do. If she tried to fight them then she might be killed, and Greed had ordered her not to die. Narrowing her gaze, as she considered what to do she realized that trying to go through the front would be suicidal.

The best course of action would be to go around back and enter the waterway. It would at least keep the soldiers from spotting her, not that it would really matter. After all, they had no reason to be looking for a teenage girl in a chimera den. That being said, she needed to find the others; even if her sense of dread was growing. Without Greed, she most likely wouldn't survive on her own. While she didn't doubt she had enough skill to survive, she didn't want to live without them, him.

Walking around to the waterway entrance, she hid the second she saw a man with an eyepatch carrying Greed to a car. He'd been beaten? Greed had been defeated by this man; why and how had he even been a match for a Homunculus? Her first instinct was to freeze the man solid and save Greed, but she pushed that down. She needed to think this through rationally before she did something foolish. If this man could defeat Greed, then she was no match for him.

That meant she could only make a move once he was gone. She needed to wait however she couldn't keep her hands from shaking. There was an overwhelming urge to charge in and grab Greed, but she couldn't risk her life. That didn't mean however that she couldn't keep her eyes from watching Greed as he was carried to the car. She could tell from her spot hidden in the alley that Greed was unconscious and injured. Two things that she'd never wanted to see in her life. It was made even worse by the fact there were swords sticking out of his chest; seeing them almost made her want to cry. Logically she knew that Greed would be perfectly fine; he could heal from anything. Emotionally, it felt like she was losing him.

Alright, this is chapter 2. I rewrote this thing twice because I didn't just want to do a generic time skip. Anyway, what did you guys think of this time skip format?

Kilare T'suna and Lilithnocte: Okay, so I agree that Chaos is neither a god nor a demon but a concept although he does have agency and he's doing this for more reasons than to screw over his brother.

muratira: I can completely understand why you have doubts about the romance focus. If it helps though I plan for it to be a slow burn (very slow).

zero fullbuster and Beloved Daughter: thank you! I'm glad you liked it.

Anyway, the next chapter will be up next Wednesday.

stay safe and have a good day
