Genre: Romance/Adventure
Pairings: Tommy/Kim and Jason/Trini
Author's Notes: Hi, readers. I would like to present a new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fic. It is AU set during part five of "Green With Evil" and shows Tommy fidning his desire for Kim growing and kidnapping her to hold her captive on an uninhabited world, but the spell unexpectedly breaks and has him continuing to act like he is on Rita's side while forming a plan to get her back to the other Power Rangers. The idea of this fic came to mind when I thought about what might happen if Tommy were to kidnap Kim and find himself pretending to still be on Rita's side after the spells breaks unexpectedly. As a result, it was born. I want to warn everyone ahead of time that this fic will have sexual content. Some of it will be intense. If you are uncomfortable with that, then I suggest you not read the chapters that contain it. Otherwise, you may read at your own risk. I hope you enjoy this fic. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Chapter 1: Renewed Determination
The late afternoon sun beamed its rays on the desert in early October. Strong wind blew a bit of sand around. A roadrunner walked across it at a slow yet steady pace. It passed the Command Center. It spotted a bush close to the building and went under it. The branches moved forward. One poked the roadrunner in the back, causing it to squawk annoyingly. It moved away from the bush and took refuge under a trio of rocks consisting of one stacked on top of two sitting next to each other.
An hour had passed since the Power Rangers suffered a very brutal defeat at the hands of Goldar, Scorpina, and the Green Ranger. This resulted in the Megazord falling into a lava-filled crevice that Rita had opened up with her magic. It split into its individual Dinozords. Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Kim could only watch in horror as their zords sank into the lava. Kim, Trini, Billy, and Zack were ready to give up due to the Megazord's destruction and the chances of bringing Zordon back online at being less than ten percent. However, Jason and Alpha wouldn't let them surrender so easily. Alpha revealed the computer had locked on the Green Ranger's bio-vibrations while he was in the force field and that it had been trying to make a match. The Rangers were shocked to learn their new enemy they had been fighting for a week was Tommy, especially Kim.
Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Kim stood together in front of the Viewing Globe in the main room. Alpha was close to them. Their eyes were wide with shock as they stared at Tommy in it. Their hearts pounded against their chests. In fact, it seemed that they would leap out and land on the floor any second. Kim shook her head in disbelief. Alpha tilted his head a bit before raising his arms somewhat.
"I can't believe Tommy is the Green Ranger," Kim said, her body starting to tremble. "There has to be a mistake."
"Alpha, are you sure about this?" Jason wondered.
"The computer matched his bio-vibrations with the Green Ranger's," Alpha responded.
"Yeah, but the computer has also been under repair," Zack pointed out truthfully. "Maybe it made a mistake. I just don't want to believe this. The others don't either."
"You are right, Zack, but it is very unlikely the computer messed up," Billy answered, holding up his hand. "Alpha corrected the malfunction."
Jason, Zack, Trini, and Kim looked at each other. They and Billy could feel their hearts slowing down a bit. The Red, Black, Yellow, and Pink Rangers turned back to the Viewing Globe.
"Then Tommy is the Green Ranger," Trini commented and placed her hands on her sides.
"It means the Green Ranger's been right under noses all this time," Jason added very seriously.
Zack scoffed in anger. "How could Tommy do this to us? I thought he wouldn't be capable of doing something like this."
"Rita must have cast a spell over Tommy and is controlling his mind," Alpha suggested.
"You see, Rangers? We can't give up," Jason said in much determination. "We have to break Rita's spell and save Tommy."
Trini looked uncertain. "This is not like when Billy and Kim were under Rita's influence. We can't just find a rare herb and make a drink out of it, so we can give it to Tommy."
"Trini's right," Billy agreed. "Kim and I regret how we acted while Rita controlled us through Baboo's potion."
Kim shuddered in disgust. "The worst part was asking Skull on a date. I wish I could wash that out of my mouth."
"Believe me, Kim," Trini assured gently. "All of us wish we could do the same thing to you."
Alpha backed away from the Rangers. He went to the center of the room. He began to become very panicky as they turned around. He whimpered fearfully and moved his arms up and down in a rapid motion.
"Oh! Rita will rule the world! She will turn it into a wasteland!" Alpha yelled very frantically. "She'll enslave mankind! She'll destroy the Command Center again! She'll—"
Zack rushed over to the robot and touched his shoulders. This caused the latter to calm down a little bit. The others gathered around them.
"Alpha, you've made your point," Zack said and cleared his throat. "Damn. You are one of the most panicky people we've ever known."
"You sure are," Trini agreed.
"I don't mean to get that way, but I just can't help myself sometimes," Alpha replied honestly.
"Some people can't help but get panicky at such a trying time," Kim responded with a heavy sigh. "It's just part of their personality."
"It is part of mine. It can't be changed, even if you reprogrammed me," Alpha commented and shook his head rapidly. "Anyway, will you reconsider giving up?"
"All right," Trini declared.
"Okay," Kim commented while nodding fast.
"Affirmative," Billy added.
"Let's do it," Zack said, giving the others two thumbs-ups.
"I knew you would come around, Rangers," Alpha said with much happiness. "Ay-yi-yi-yi."
The Rangers couldn't help but smile. They felt very lucky to have Alpha to guide them during tough situations. They knew they wouldn't have been able to get as far as they did without him. Their smiles faded, and they became serious.
"We have to find Tommy and break Rita's spell," Jason commanded in a low but firm voice. "Let's split up and look for him."
"What if he's at Rita's palace? I wouldn't be surprised if he is resting there," Kim commented. "She could've given him a room for that purpose."
Billy raised his eyebrows. "Then we wait him out. He'll show up sooner or later."
"You got that right, Billy," Zack agreed.
"Yeah," Kim added and suppressed a yawn.
"What about Zordon, Alpha?" Trini asked.
"Green Ranger thought he got rid of him for good, but there's still a chance I can bring Zordon back," Alpha announced hopefully.
Jason pointed his finger at him. "You keep working on that, Alpha. As for the rest of us, we'll find Tommy." He exhaled sharply.
"So, where should we search for him?" Trini wondered.
"Kim, do you think you could check with Ernie at the Youth Center?" Jason asked with much curiosity.
Kim nodded at him. "Sure. I just hope Bulk and Skull don't show up to make trouble like they did when Zack and I were searching for you, Jase." She rolled her eyes.
"I wish I could've seen you tricking Skull into kissing Bulk's cheek, Kim," Zack admitted with a furrowed brow. "I would've been laughing my ass off."
"It would've been even better seeing Bulk chase Skull out of the Youth Center," Trini added. "Anyway, what about the rest of us?"
"Billy and I will check the school. It has let out for the day. You and Zack will check the park," Jason instructed.
Trini pressed her lips together. "That sounds good to me."
"Me too," Zack said, giving the leader a wink.
"Listen to me. Stay on guard," Jason warned sternly. "We don't know when Rita will attack again. Is that clear?"
"Loud and clear," the other Rangers answered with a nod.
"Good," Jason said, breathing deeply. "Let's go. We don't have any time to lose."
"Right," the other Rangers agreed.
Alpha sighed softly. "Good luck, Rangers."
The Rangers teleported out of the Command Center. Alpha approached the console beneath the plasma tube. He looked toward the area where Zordon used to be. He raised his arms above his head.
"Oh, Zordon. It's been a week since you disappeared. We were on the verge of getting you back, but the Green Ranger sent you away again," Alpha said and groaned softly. "The Rangers felt like giving up, except for Jason. I don't blame them for feeling hopeless. I've felt like that too during this situation. They've renewed their determination now that they know their new enemy is Tommy."
Alpha looked down at the console. He remembered getting so frustrated when he was unable to get Zordon back after Tommy undid all his work. He got irritated when his enemy taunted him. He became determined to find out his identity. He didn't blame the team for being in so much denial. He didn't want to believe it himself.
His thoughts shifted to Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Kim. He hoped they would find Tommy very soon. He hated they would likely have to fight him again at some point. However, he knew they didn't have a choice because they had to break Rita's spell. He prayed they would be cautious toward him because the boy could suspect what they were up to and go after them on his own accord.
Alpha shook his thoughts out of his head. He lowered his arms as he shifted his attention back to the tube. He knew he needed to get to work finding Zordon and bringing him home. He hoped that it wouldn't take a real long time. He hated when that happened. He turned to the console. He rubbed his hands together before tilting his head a little bit.
"I will bring you back, Zordon. Rita will regret she ever messed with us," Alpha said in determination. He proceeded to search for his mentor.
