Okay this is set before Humans are created, just so you know. And btw if you have any issues with the ages because of my previous mythology fanfictions, please remember that in mythology, there is no canon, and whether that applies to fanfictions about said mythology is up to the Author, I suppose.

A Greek Get-together

Hades walked through his Palace, the black walls glinting in the torchlight. He was going to take a ride on his chariot.

Twas' not to be.

He suddenly saw a blinding light appear in front of him, heard thunder and wind, and instantly knew who was visiting him.

His brother, Zeus, stepped forward. "Hades, old boy! Good to see you again!" He chuckled, giving the God of the Underworld a noogie.

Hades, despite himself, smiled weakly. "What brings you here, brother?"

Zeus led Hades to the balcony. "So, me, our sisters, and Poseidon are off to make a deal with the Nymphs. Apprently they're complaining about me."

Hades gasped. "Why aren't you taking them with you?"

"You know what some of the kids are like! Apollo won't stop flirting with them, and Artemis and Hermes refuse to be parted with him."

"You're one to talk. What about Persephone?"

"She's younger than Hermes! She isn't old enough for political matters!"

Hades sighed. "Alright then."

"Good man!" Cried Zeus, slapping his brother's back. "They'll meet you at a nearby entrance."

With that, the King of the Gods disappeared again, leaving a worried Hades.

...

The Children of Zeus stood by the Entrance. Sixteen year-old Artemis and Apollo, Ten year-old Persephone, and Twelve year-old Hermes.

Their Respective Mothers were saying goodbye to them.

"Apollo, keep your Ego in Check! Artemis, keep your temper in check!" Leto told her twin children sternly.

"Are you wrapped warm enough? Are you bringing water? Please tell me you have earth food!" Fussed Demeter, ever protective, while Persephone squirmed uncomfortably.

Hermes's mum, the Pleiad Maia was giving her son warnings of a different kind.

"Now, don't you DARE cause any trouble down there! If you do, I'll ground you for a hundred years!" She scolded, while Hermes stared into space.

Suddenly, a hiss came from the entrance to the underworld. Mist seeped out of it, and Hades stepped out, his black robe billowing.

"Come on." He told them, impatiently.

The children of Zeus hugged their mothers and followed their uncle into the entrance.

...

They came to the River Styx, where Charon awaited them, as well as the winged Thanatos.

They all hopped in, and Charon began punting to Hades's palace.

The visitors all had different reactions. Hermes was trying to be brave, but secretly he was terrified. Apollo shrank a little, and even Artemis shivered a little. This place was creepy. Persephone, for some reason, was unfazed.

"This place isn't so bad." She murmured.

Hades smiled at Persephone, and noted her pretty face, her long blonde hair, and her heterochromatic eyes, which were Leaf green and bright purple, respectively.

They arrived at the palace. It was a tall, black building, that was beautiful and ominous at once.

...

The living room of the palace was much the same, except brighter, since there was more torches and a fireplace.

Hermes zipped around, checking the place out.

"Now, I want you four to have a tour, and I will have the pleasure of doing that tomorrow. For now, get to your rooms. It's late. God night." He told them. Charon gave the kids directions, and they all set off.

"Hey, have you heard that some bad Gods are put in here?" Asked Hermes.

Apollo shrugged. "Me and Artemis overheard Father and Hera talking about someone called... Kronos? Isn't that what it was sis?" He asked, turning to Artemis.

Artemis nodded. "I hope we don't find him here."

They found their rooms, and said goodnight to each other.

Persephone got into her comfortable bed. "I wonder how our uncle tells the time here..." She muttered, before dropping off to sleep.

...

A noise that sounded like an unearthly bark woke up Persephone. She scrambled out of bed, and fell on her face on the floor. "What was THAT!?" She cried, getting up. She rushed out of her room, to hear the barking noise from the living room.

She rushed there, to see Apollo, Hermes, and Artemis fighting an enormous Dog. It had three Dog heads, and a snake for a tail. It howled in Persephone's face.

Artemis and Apollo fired arrows at the middle head. They bounced off harmlessly, and the dog grabbed them, shaking them like a chew toy.

Hermes flew up and wacked it with his Caduceus, making the creature let go.

Suddenly, Hades came in.

"Hey! Down! Bad boy!" He shouted, and the creature lay down, Artemis and Apollo lowering their bows.

"Sorry about Cerberus. He's a tad unfriendly to strangers." Hades told them.

"Th-that thing is your PET!?" Gasped Hermes.#

"Why, yes." Responded Hades. "Let's go on that tour, shall we?"

...

"...And this is the Prison." Said Hades. "Only the worst criminals are kept there."

Three creatures, with fifty heads and a hundred hands each, Heketonkheirs, stood by the door, distinguishable only by their eye colour.

"Can we take a look?" Asked Hermes.

"Absolutely not!" Snapped Hades. "Now, come on, we have a tour to finish. Our gardens..." He began, not realising his nephews and nieces had stayed behind.

Hermes flew up, and pulled faces at the Heketonkheirs. They all swung at him, giving him and his siblings the chance to run through the door, which Apollo broke down.

The four crept in, while the Heketonkheirs grasping by the door, and arguing to themselves.

Figures in cells and chains stared at them. Eventually, they came across a gigantic room, and a figure, suspended in the air with chains, was in the middle of it.

He looked up. He was tall, muscular, and looked very much like their father, except his beard was white, his eyes were full of malice, and he had tattoos on his arms.

He frowned. "Children." He muttered. "What brings four children here?"

Artemis was the first to speak. "Who- who are you?"

"I am Kronos." He hissed.

The four shared a look.

"Why are you imprisoned here?" Asked Hermes.

"You answer my Question. What brings four children here?" Replied Kronos.

"I am Persephone, and these are my half-brothers and half-sister, Apollo, Hermes, and Artemis. We are the children of Zeus." Persephone replied bravely.

"Well then." Chuckled Kronos. "It is a pleasure to meet my Grandchildren."

The four stepped back.

"And when I break free." Kronos continued. "I will put your all in torture, and do so to Your Aunts and Uncles, and I'll send Zeus insane, and make him fling you into Khaos!" He flung himself forward. "And when he realizes what he has done, I will throw HIM into Khaos, MYSELF!" Kronos was screaming now.

"NO!" Came a shout. A Metal device flew from nowhere, and attached itself to Kronos's mouth, gagging him.

The kids all turned. Hades was rushing towards them. "Come on! Get out! Quickly!" He shouted, Shooing them out.

Kronos glared at Hades, until the door shut.

...

"He WHAT!?" Yelled Zeus, a day later, his face red with fury.

"I gagged him. He shall never speak again." Hades told Zeus, angry himself.

Zeus sighed. "This isn't your fault."

Hades Nodded.

Not every bad memory had gone away. It had only been a thousand years, after all.
