So this is the end

After many days staying alive in his prison, the Reaper finally came to visit him.

He was wondering how the hell he was still breathing. Nobody in his mind can survive a spinning saw blade of a rocket double-scythe that sliced his body in half, separating his body from his waist but here he was, lying in wait for his final breath. His killer, the double scythe user stood in front of his body waiting for him to die.

He didn't have a name. He didn't even know it. Ever since he discovered his powers he had forgotten it entirely. He had been a powerful force at that time and by then everyone in Cier knew him by a name the fighters referred to him.

The Imitator

His powers to imitate his enemies was considered one of the most powerful abilities in Cier. Give him a swordmaster, a magician, a brawler, he can copy them. Their skills, weapons, strengths, everything. The world of Cier was considered the biggest arena with dozens, if not hundreds of powerful fighters battling each other for the rare power source of the world, which is known as RICE. Even so,The Imitator had no need for such things as his goal was to defeat all the fighters and store their abilities in his memory.

He was getting more powerful with every defeated fighter he faced and soon he was considered a threat to all the fighters, which consists of RHGs(Rock Hard Gladiators) and Dojo Duelists. He was hunted down by any fighter he came across but to him it was just an easier way to add more powers to imitate. His goal to be the strongest was in his grasp.

Until that day arrived.

It was a Tournament in an island in Navia, a worldwide event for every fighter in Cier. For The Imitator, it was the greatest opportunity to achieve his desire for power. Mages from MicFortress, machine-like fighters from Aether 2.0, weapon masters of Highgate Landing and many others were like fruits ripe for the taking. Some of the most powerful Clans in the world will also be witnessing the battles and the Dojo best fighters will participate in the event. Under a fake alias, he entered the Tournament.

That was when it all went downhill.

It was still a mystery how he was discovered right before the first match. The moment after that every fighter around the area rushed towards him. He knew from that time he was getting cocky, thinking he could take them all down with little to no effort. That was the moment when he noticed his power's flaw.

He cannot copy everyone's abilities at the same time.

Using that one flaw turned the tides against him. Not only he was facing multiple enemies but some of them were the most formidable fighters in the world. Soon he was overwhelmed and was captured.

He was sent to a research facility as a test subject. To them, his imitating powers were a powerful tool to be used for future battles. He remembered correctly that the Clan in charge of him was one of the top Clans known as Zetabrand, known for their members being stupidly powerful and wore scarves or other clothing, with one of them wearing a Sarong. Days passed by as he fought anyone he was facing every day. He still remembered that one time he faced 12 fighters one at a time and later all at the same time. It was tough but for the first time since his imprisonment he enjoyed fighting them. He remembered their names as well!

Raymond, Sheim, Kixx, Arcus, Biske, Bamboo, One, Lyndsey, Chronos, Serra, Oxob and Tentionmaru. They gave him quite a beating but it was an epic fight.

But it was only a moment because after the fight he overheard the Clan leader, Nhazul gave an order to one of his members:

"Obliterate the Imitator"

There were still some fights he fought but he knew he was waiting for the inevitable. Like the one enjoyable fight he had, he remembered his executors

Exortine, Cid, Operation 34, Fry, Jomm, Shuriken, Umbrella, Shura, Dilan, Rafah, Yoyo, Fl-Nordin, the Clan Leader himself and finally, Fordz, the double scythe user.

Time seems to have slowed down for him to recall back his dream to be the best fighter and the journey he took to achieve it. All his adventures, the duels, the challenges, all led to this. Perhaps he should choose a different path the moment he discovered his Imitation abilities. Nevertheless, he did not regret it.

As darkness started to enter his vision, Fordz was on one knee, head lowered towards him. I don't know why but I guess it was a show of respect to a great fighter that faced many battles. For Fordz, a well-known fighter himself to do so, it was humble of him.

Maybe in his next life, he will seek a different path.

The scent of a forest

Birds chirping loudly

The tranquil wind blowing

It was so….. Wait

Didn't he die a few seconds ago?

He opened his eyes and he immediately covered them with his hand as the sunlight shone upon him.It was quite a surprise because he recalled feeling pain in every part of his body which would make him even struggle to lift any of his limbs. He can even feel his legs. After a while ,he stood up from his position.

He was in a dense forest with lush greenery and tall trees surrounding him as his spot is the only part where the sunlight reached the green surface he was on. The Imitator took the time to get the feel of the area.Throughout his travels, he never took note of the places he went, focusing only in the areas where the best fighters live.

Is this the second chance he wished for?

He didn't know who granted his wish but he mouthed the word of thanks to whoever gave him this wish. Now with a fresh start, he can choose a different…

"GRRRRR"

At that moment, the forest's peaceful atmosphere vanished.

Glowing red eyes gazed upon The Imitator's fully dark body from the deep parts of the forest and some of them prowled up towards him. They were black wolves twice the size of a regular person with bone-like structures all around its body. Among all of them, one of them was twice the size of the black wolves.

Those wolves were monstrous but not as much as the creatures lurking in some parts of Cier's places, namely the Shadow Hold and The Dead Forest.

Bog and Tafari could relate to that.

Signing to himself, he prepared himself.Like all wolves, they were waiting orders from their Alpha.Doesn't matter if he was still in Cier or not. What matters now was he needed to fight his way out.

The wolves charged at him.

Thus the start of the story, The Imitator of Remnant

Author's note:This is my first Fanfiction (not really) that will stay around the website. For those who don't know, this is a RHG-based fanfic taking place in Cier, where Dojo Duels occurred in the Hyun's Dojo community. You can check it out on Youtube or on its Official Website: .

For the Imitator battles, there were only three of them with two mentioned in this fic. I recommend you to watch them if you want to know how the Imitator works. Not to mention the animation is badass for a stick figure animation.

All the characters mentioned does not belong to me and belong to their respective owners

Also to anyone reading this, does anyone know how to post chapters in the FF net mobile? My country banned the website and only the app is available.Sorry for the inconvenience.

So I guess that's it for now, so see you soon (I hope, based on my college schedule)
